This is a reasonably active household that has lots of contact with both other Expats and local neighbors. We allow up to 6 local kids in the pool for a couple of hours about once a week. We also host two poker games a week during the afternoons. We invite (or they invite themselves) the young adult football team to a fiesta at our home about once every two months. Mexico is VERY family oriented, so we can have as many as 30 to 40 family members at a fiesta. Although it can be busy from time to time, we recognize the need to be respectful of others needs as well. We ask our guests to respond accordingly.

We have a very welcoming home and have fun, but, this is not a continuous party house. Once in a while is welcome.

This is a great location, in west Ajijic. A spacious property with beautiful grounds, removed from the congestion & noise but close enough to walk to the square. If you don't like to walk or, if you're going to Chapala, the eastbound bus stops right outside their door. Scott & Paula were fabulous hosts. They gave us all the privacy we wanted, but also joined us for some great conversations at the poolside table. They gave us good tips and advice for our exploration and shared their story about moving to Ajijic. We felt very safe and their furry kids gave us added comfort, knowing that they were alway on high alert of unfamiliar people in the area. Otherwise, they were quiet. :)

Great spot. Quiet. Scott and his wife are great host. Scott was there to help us out with all of our needs. We would stay again. A little walk to downtown but the exercise was good for us.

From the moment the checkin was done, there was a really good communication with the host and his admin Norberta. The attention was awesome and he was really kind. He shared really good insights about the town and where to go. He helped me have a terrific stay.

Scott is a great host and the location is perfect, we walked everywhere.

If your looking for The May Fair Hotel, or the Hyatt, or the Ritz Hotels, this ain't it. BUT if your looking for the garden of Eden, look no further, this IS it, Magnificent beautiful gardens surrounding solar heated warm swimming pool. Three Casita's may to some people but a tad austere, but that is what a vacation is all about, something different from the norm. Large screen TV with hundreds of NETFLIX movies. It is truly fully furnished with every conceivable kitchen appliance you could think of. Great hosts Paula, and Scott, so accommodating and helpful with four small loveable friendly dogs, two talented singing parrots. Grocery stores and GREAT restaurants all within a short walking distance. frequent buses into town centre. Truly a vacation to remember. Thanks Scott & Paula had a great vacation...and hope to return soon....Robert & Gloria Kelly, Surrey, B.C.
