Everything was better than expected and much more. Everything was clean and well taken care of and we did not have any problems while we were there. We brought our 2 dogs and it was wonderful to have a fenced in area off of the deck to let them run in, a big plus for us. Roger stopped by a few time to see if we needed anything which is more than he had to do. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Branson. Oh, he makes a great brownie and the dogs loved their treats he left for us.

Roger was an amazing host and the house is awesome!! Pictures really don't do it justice. It's an adorable 3 bedroom home! The rooms are small but cozy and there's plenty of living room and kitchen/dining area! This house is away from the hustle and bustle of the city but everything is a 10-20 minute drive away so not too far away! I love that the lake is two blocks away and you can swim at your leisure. Roger was able to give us tips for everything from eating out to sight seeing! We will definitely be back to the bird house in the future!!

It's a pleasure to write a review for Roger! This was not our first visit, and certainly won't be our last. Roger goes out of his way to make sure ALL his guests are welcomed. Brownies for the two legged guests and dog toys for the four legged ones! If you are looking for peace, quiet, all the comforts of home, and an extremely attentive host, book here!

Quiet and reasonable place in the Missouri Ozarks. A little on the older side but clean and Roger is a great host and will make your stay enjoyable.

Very good experience. Host was very accommodating. Bedrooms were small but sufficient. Do not order Chinese food in Branson.

Roger's place exudes kitschy personality. (I chose the Beatles bedroom.) Roger gave great directions, communicated clearly, and even left us fresh brownies.

Full blown adrenaline junkie, cliff jumper, water skier, lake rat, etc., etc... During the summer, you can find me relaxing on Table Rock Lake and serving as a tour guide Captain "B" and manager on duty at Branson's Ride the Ducks attraction on the landing and at our Highway 76 location. During the school year, I'm in the education field. I was an assistant principal at Houston Elementary School and was the technology integration specialist and public relations contact at Hallsville Public Schools. Before Hallsville, I taught broadcast journalism at Mexico High School's Hart Career Center. I taught social studies at the middle school in a computer based classroom for five years prior. I have taught some of the best kids in the state as far as I'm concerned! I have coached 8th grade football, wrestling, and the shot and discus throwers in track. I love to water ski, lift weights, and anything else that keeps me moving and active! I'm HUGE Apple computers fan and love marketing and video production. :) I also LOVE to travel where ever, when ever possible. I manage the local 24 hour fitness center and the family farm in Houston, Missouri. I moved back home after my mother broke her hips and had some health issues.
