This newly renovated loft is nestled in the elegant and trendy Cook Street Village (close to ocean and downtown!) This third floor loft suite sleeps up to 4 people (1 bedroom and queen pullout in living room) and is in a 100 year old heritage home!

The space

The 100 year old house is surrounded by unique plants and flowers, and with your private patio you can enjoy the heat of the day and setting sun!

Waiting for you will be:
*Clean and elegant bedding

*FULLY stocked kitchen equipment (with the exception of a STOVE- however there is a new BBQ and state of the art hot plate.)

*Coffee machine

*Elegant decor and ambiance

*Top of the line bathroom facilities and washer and drier

*Friendly neighbours and community all around!

*WIFI

*Ample parking space/bike storage space

*BBQ

*Outdoor eating area

*The BEACH! (only 5 min walk away to popular Dallas Road)

*A popular Victorian pub (the Beagle) right across the street

*Grocery stores/shops/coffee/bakery/restaurants literally a stones throw away

This suite is located in the heart of Cook Street Village (you literally could not be ANY closer.) Cook Street Village is a hot spot for hipsters and locals to hang out/eat/shop/beach. People in Cook Street are generally always friendly (and happy.)

Beacon hill park is across the street and is one of Victoria's most beautiful city parks (with a renowned outdoor petting zoo.) Not to mention they have an unbelievable outdoor park, complete with a state of the art flying fox for kids (ok adults too....)

Cook Street boasts bakery's, organic grocery shops, a masterful butcher, a plethora of coffee shops, antique furniture shops, clothing stores etc. Not to mention every house in the area is like being transported back to the early 1900's.

You will be walking distance to downtown (10 minutes), and we will gladly provide you with directions! There is a constant flow of buses on the street nearby which can take you wherever you want to go in and around Victoria.

During your stay, there may be people living below you. The house manager is committed to ensuring you have the best, most relaxing stay possible!

*The house is stocked with spices and condiments, as well as basic toiletries.

Interaction with guests

My husband and I live on the middle floor suite- so we are only a knock or a call away. You will however have complete privacy in your secluded suite.

Other things to note

Note: No stove/oven. However we do have new BBQ, state of the art hot plate and toaster oven.

The Loft was a truly perfect place for us to stay. We couldn’t believe how every small need had been thought of. My daughter stayed in the pull-out bed and this was perfect for her. The proximity to Cook St. Village and Beacon Hill Park was fabulous. A really easy and wonderful place to stay. We will undoubtedly return in the near future too.

The loft was a fantastic, well equipped and comfortable " home away from home" for our week in Victoria. We enjoyed walking and biking (walked to CycleBC and rented) most places. Bubbly Roses Bakery was a pleasant walking destination for coffee and dessert. We purchased meat at McLennans Meat Shop on Cook and BBQ'd in one night. We even rode our bikes over to Oak Bay and had a great dinner at the Penny Farthing Pub! Enjoyed our stay in this quiet neighbourhood. Beth an John

We stayed here with no car. The Loft was beautifully presented...everything we could possibly need was there. Washer and dryer with laundry detergent was a much welcome addition after being 'on the road ' for 3 weeks already. A great selection of grocery shops and restaurants really only 3minutes walk away and a very pleasant 15 minute walk takes you right into the beautiful Victoria tourist precinct and Harbour. Would thoroughly recommend this home away from home. 2 flights of steps to get into the loft but worth every step !

A beautiful loft equipped with everything you need and even things you didn't know you needed. A great location within walking distance of all activities and shops downtown. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing apartment in a great area of Victoria. The apartment is clean, well stocked, within minutes of great restaurants, shops, and the beach, and has a balcony on which you can just relax. We couldn't be happier with our stay. We recommend: - walking down to the beach where you can see amazing sunsets and see the mountains of the United States across the water - grabbing food at the deli inside Mother nature's Market - walking to Craigdarroch Castle and taking pictures (you can also stop at the nearby Government House) - walking to downtown (less than 20 minutes) - checking out the animals at the petting zoo in Beacon Hill Park

Greetings! My name is Elizabeth Robertson and I have lived in Victoria for the last 5 years. I moved from Alberta, and never ended up going back home after I fell in love with the ocean. I love to explore the island, go swimming, surfing and hiking. Look forward to meeting you!
