My family and I were looking for a place to stay that wasn't at a hotel -- this was it. Hands down the best place. I have family that live on the island and am familiar with it, so I knew a bit ahead of time where this was located. I liked that this place was on St. Georges, at the norther tip of the island. It's not near the bigger city, Hamilton so it's quieter and peaceful. Plus it's close to the airport so cab fare to and from was reasonable. We LOVED this place and will definitely be back soon. The view was stunning, the house was stunning -- you just couldn't ask for better accommodations. We were greeted by a friend of the owner once we arrived at the house and she took us into town to rent scooters and get a bit of food. The only thing I'll mention is that the house is tucked away, up a narrow steep road. It was a little tricky at first because not every cabbie knows where this place is. Overall, this place was incredible. Definitely going to be a repeat customer.

Great house- comfy bed with good pillows! Well appointed kitchen for cooking in, a fabulous grill and picnic area by a wonderful pool, with a stellar view of the bay.

Our group of two couples had a great time at Robert's place. The house was spotless and had plenty of space for us, both inside and out. The location is great! Million dollar views over St George harbour, and a short 5 minute walk down into town where we found several restaurants, a well stocked grocery story, liquor store, and a frozen yogurt place. We would not hesitate to stay here again on a return trip to St George.

Host and 3 bedroom unit were wonderful. Only issue is that the unit is not a "private" house as advertised. It is a 2 storey house with 2 self contained unit, 1 on each floor. Both units share the pool and BBQ area. We had the top, 3 bedroom, 2 bath unit for our 4 adults family. Very clean, very well equipped kitchen. We would recommend and return. Just be aware pool, BNq and yard are shared with the basement unit. Host was excellent. Wonderful stay!

Response from Robert:
Occasionally during off peak season the Cabin is rented separately. This can be left unoccupied or rented as an option with the main house for additional space if required.

We loved our stay here, with the view, the wonderful pool, the walks to town and the beach at Fort St. Catherine. The kitchen was very well equipped, and we cooked our dinners every night at home and ate on the upstairs patio. We used the pool every day, and our 4 year old grandson learned to swim during our two week stay. We can't say enough about the hospitality of Robert and his mother Barbara. Barbara generously brought us a toy for our two young grandchildren that they played with during our entire stay. All in all, and incredible place to stay.

We had a great time and Robert was helpful with tips about the house and the Island. He was there when we arrived, which was good.

Robert was a great host... he happened to be in Bermuda when we arrived and personally met us, showed us the property, showed us/told us how things worked (stove/oven, TV, BBQ, A/C, etc). The house is in a great location (easy walking distance - read below for more - to the grocery store, town center, ferry and bus stop, scooter rental, jet ski rental) and the view from the dining room and living room was amazing. Kitchen is very nice with quality appliances and everything we needed (we had dinner at the house 5 nights). The house was very clean, the rooms/beds comfortable; plenty of bath towels and pool towels. The pool was very nice. We did use the mask and snorkel, and felt they were of good quality. The Wifi was very reliable, and the living room TV/cable channels were fine (what most in the US would refer to as Basic Cable - but you're not there to watch TV, right?!) We did not use the BBQ, bikes or hot tub, so I cannot comment on those (but based on everything else, assuming they were fine as well). Robert is a great host, and this is a property we'd certainly recommend and will use again when we return to Bermuda! We're from Florida (very flat), so we found the hilly terrain a welcomed change of pace. The house is on a hillside that provides an unbelievable view of the water, boats and part of the island (the exact view you see in the pictures in the listing). The walk into the town center is downhill and easy. So therefore the return walk is uphill; just something to be mindful of.
