Wonderful old home that has been restored and updated with a wonderful quality. Great location and the little city of Cedarburg was a neat place to stay.

This was the perfect place for our daughter, the bride, and her bridesmaids to stay as they prepared for the Cedarburg wedding. A lovely basket of goodies was on the counter, and the house was warm and clean. Melissa did her best to make the home welcoming and inviting. The house itself is delightful-old stone and whimsically decorated. The grounds were perfect for wedding photos too! Thanks Melissa!

Our host made us feel comfortable and excited from the very moment of booking. Upon entry into their most exquisite and warm home was a basket full of goodies, for both young and old. We had such a wonderful experience - learning the history of the town as well as the home itself. It was perfect!

There was a beautiful welcome basket to greet us. Melissa was available before and during our stay. I knew we would be well taken care of. As it turns out we did not need a thing. It was all there. The home is a beautiful mix of old character and modern design. Very comfortable.

Details, details, details... Everything was perfect, from meeting Melissa and having her explain the history of the house, to the tire swing in the back yard and the reverse osmosis kitchen sink water filter. Upon entry to the house we were greeting with a basket of goodies - a great start to the morning ahead - all of the rooms were extremely comfortable my kids loved each of their own bedrooms and the master was gorgeous with really nice linens and an extremely comfortable bed. We couldn't have asked for any better of an experience - thank you Melissa and family, we can't wait to come back!

We LOVED staying here! History meets hipster homestead heaven. This historic house has been restored to a stunning 21st century treasure. It used to be a boarding house for people traveling in the 1800's, and for the last 50 years old family friends of ours used to own it. Thank goodness the Hale's have it now! The place is clean, comfortable, spacious, and colorful. Melissa provided everything we needed and was available if we needed anything, though we didn't because it was so well organized. The location, Cedarburg, is quiet, charming, and a neighborhood of friends. We hope we can come back and stay again soon!
