It’s a great neighborhood and a great location for trips to the Vatican or the Centro Storico. Two very convenient groceries nearby and lots of nice eateries and bars. We especially liked hanging out at Bukowski’s around the corner....We’d come back! As for the place, it’s pretty comfortable and we appreciated both the clothes washer and the great hot water in the shower! You are three floors up so it’s easy to open the windows and get fresh air. If you are sensitive to noise, you can close the windows and get some quiet away from Rome traffic! A great value!

Good communication with the hosts. The apartment is very quiet, cosy and well located: only 10 min away from St Peter's square and the metro station. I strongly recommend it.

We both loved our stay here very much. There is a little store right beside the place that sells some basic stuff and so many great restaurants very close. The Vatican is very close by and most everything is walking distance. The colosseum is about 45 minutes away, walking, but you can always metro there if you need.

Unfortunately there was confusion with check in. I was given a phone number to contact for arrival, but the person was not answering in messages or calls. The Airbnb host was then contacted, we waited for an hour outside of apartment for the host to arrive. Once inside the apartment, both beds were unmade ( no sheets on either beds at all) and dirty sheets in pillowcases next to the front door. The host took the dirty sheets, and came back 20 minutes later with one set of clean sheets, then left. We made do with what he had for two beds, but was not happy. I looked through cabinets and ended up finding spare pillowcases for the other bed. The shower was completely moldy, and empty shampoo bottles left inside. One main reason for this booking was that there was a washer inside the apartment. Upon arrival at the apartment the host then tells us the washer is broken and unfixable... so we have to spend a lot of money and time to wash clothes elsewhere. I think this should be noted on the profile when something like this changes. The wifi was okay, but cut out multiple times throughout our stay. We unplugged and reset the router to get it going again. The aircon works VERY well in the living room, and in one bedroom. The other bedroom gets extremely hot, nearly unbearable to sleep in during summer in Rome (95-105F or 35-40C)! Although this place wasn't exactly what I had hoped for, we made it work and our time in Rome was amazing. The location of this apartment is by far the best thing about it.

Response from Flora:
Caro ospite , mi dispiace del disguido sul orario del check in, ma era previsto in serata . La lavatrice funzionava nel nostro precedente controllo . Spero di potervi riospitare al più presto confidando in un ottimo soggiorno .

Roomy 2-BR apartment in a quiet neighborhood very close to the Vatican (less than 10 mins to St Peters) and close to the metro stop (Ottaviano) & taxis (Piazza del Risorgimento). Cold AC as well. Had a great stay!

Some cleanliness issues and air conditioning only in main bedroom and living room which is fine for other times of the year but not the height of summer. Also be aware you need cash to pay tax per person per night on arrival. And the 3 flights of stairs are no joke. Especially with luggage. Other than that it was large enough for 4 adults, right near Piazza de Risorgemento and St Peters Bascilica and easy to navigate to/from. Communication with host was easy.

This is a great place if your traveling on a budget and want to stay in a prime location in Rome. Pros: amazing location, affordable, large apartment, safe area, and has air conditioning (much needed during the summer). Cons: place could have been cleaner. Overall, a great place to stay during your trip to Rome! Note: seems to be managed by a third-party (we never met the actual host).
