Situated in Park Street village, be prepared for tiny front door, exposed timbers, a huge inglenook fireplace, vaulted bedrooms and wonky floors. Five minutes from Park Street Abbey Line train station, bus stop and two local pubs, stunning woodland and lakes just behind, + corner shop opposite.

Suzis cottage is truly unique. Being an old house, minding your head is a necessity though. Communication upfront was a bit confusing but once we arrived, Suzi was very welcoming. She gave us a ride to St Albans and even offered to take us into central London on her way to work. …

Thanks, Michelle! Because I live in a very hard water area, and the pipes are very old - I do tend to get regular calcium build up in the bathroom and kitchen sinks, but I'll try to get a stronger limescale remover and have another scrub - thanks for the positive feedback!
