Georgian apartment with two double bedrooms on the second floor of a Georgian town house. Comfortable sofa bed in the living room.
With regular bus links or a 15-min walk into town, Bath is there to enjoy!
Period features, lovely views & free parking
Great place to chill out.
My flat is located on the second floor of a Georgian townhouse in the Grade I-listed Grosvenor Place.
It has all the period features you'd expect from a Georgian flat: high ceilings, working shutters, wooden floorboards, picture rails and cast-iron fireplaces.
The living room has two comfortable sofas (one of which a sofabed), a dining table and flat screen smart tv. Wifi is provided. There are lovely views over the river Avon and the Avon & Kennet Canal.
The kitchen has a large window hatch to the living room and comes with all the mod-cons (apart from a dish washer!).
The master bedroom is located at the front of the building, looking out over the Georgian terraces of Larkhall, St Saviour's church and Solsbury Hill in the background (yes, the one out of Peter Gabriel's song!)
The second bedroom is a little smaller, yet easily fits my other double bed.

Interaction with guests
I will be on the other end of a telephone line or I can be in Bath within half an hour. I will liaise with my guests about the keys and can be there to welcome you and show you round, should you so desire! An Information folder will be in the flat and directions will be emailed to you as well. Generally I like to give my guests space so they can relax and make themselves properly at home!
My neighbours will be really appreciative if you make sure the doors don't fall shut and if you take your shoes off once inside the flat. My wooden floorboards will thank you as well!
I have no problems with dogs, but do contact me in advance.
Please leave the flat in the same general condition as you found it on arrival.
Strictly no smoking.
Originally from The Netherlands, I have lived and worked in Bath for about 18 years now. I enjoy baking cakes (and eating them), learning languages and going for country walks, preferably with a hill to climb (as they are slightly lacking in Holland..!) I love living in Bath & I love my flat and I hope you will love it too!
