You pay too much for the value you get. The "apartment" is not an apartment nor a studio, it's a room in a building full of other rooms just like that. The toilets are outside the room which make it uncomfortable at all. When I arrived many things didn't work - stove, heating, barely hot water. Wifi was weak during my staying. There's no bed linens or towels provided, no kettle at the "kitchen". When I told Serenia about these things, she got mad at me and told me that I am a very hard tenet to please. When her handyman came to fix those stuff, he got while I was gone, leaving tons of mess, leaving dirty cloths on the bed. She also got angry at me because I asked to check in when I arrive from the airport (it was 4am, but I just asked if there's an option, didn't demand it or anything!). Not very patient, not very kind host. She told me she was willing to return the money I paid for the left days and I should find a new place to stay (and gave me an ultimatum to leave by the next day at noon), and when I couldn't find a place, she still insisted that I'll leave, all because I dared to complain about things and conditions I didn't get value for. At the end she "allowed" me to stay when I told her I will not talk to her anymore. I felt so bad, being a foreigner in Belgium, not knowing what to do, feeling bad treated. Plus, it can get pretty noisy because of the other tenets. The rooms are very close to each other and you can hear everything. The area where the apartment located is not the nicest one and not the safest one. I didn't go alone at night in that area. The only thing good about it was that the train station was 5 min walk from the place. Overall - it is very hard to find an apartment for short term in Brussels. It is very expensive. But I don't think that apartments owners should abuse that fact, over charge and then barely care if things are working or not. I wouldn't recommend staying in this place.

Response from Serenia:
Eilat was a very special guest. First she didn't agree with the price and wanted a big discount. Then she booked and wanted me to cancel as she realised she was over her low budget. Then she informed me she would arrive 2 nights before her dates , and at 4 am. I told her 4 am wasn't possible then she decided to cancel the extra nights. Then she demanded free bedding and towels even though they aren't included for stays over a month, but "it was in the pictures" so she felt cheated. Then she made all sorts of improbable claims about the room, complained there was no private toilet inside the room when it was clear in the description, and it went on and on. I have had over 500 guests in the last 2 years and she was by far the most difficult of all. Eilat is the kind of constantly negative person who would find reason to complain in paradise. She also wrote unfounded things like "she got mad, she got angry" Well I didn't , but seeing those inaccuracies and lies made me pretty happy to see the back of her - that IS true ;-)
