We are located between the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, San Giovanni in Laterano and Santa Croce in Gerusalemme.
The strategic position allows you to easily reach, by walking, important tourist sights: Colosseum, Fori Imperiali, the Domus Aurea and many Medieval church.
Monuments of ancient Rome are easily accessible thanks to the excellent connection to public transport, metro A (Vittorio Emanuele and Manzoni), buses and trams, so Vatican is about 15 minute .
Very close to the Termini railway station, about 800m and well connected to the airports, Rome Fiumicino and Ciampino airports.
In the same block there are restaurants, bars, pharmacies, supermarkets, pizzerias and tobacco.

Lory's appartment is a lovely place near the colisseum, well connected with the city centre. The bedroom and bathroom were clean enough and the bed was very confortable. Lory was kind and friendly to us and she prepared breakfast everyday. I will recommend this place if you are thinking to stay a few days in Rome.

Lory's apartment is well-located near all means of transportation as well as restaurants, supermakets etc. In addition, close enough to the center of the town, if like me you like to stroll around on foot. The whole place consists of 3 insuits and a small, but well-lit kitchen. You can not cook, which for me was not a problem, but she will let you use the frige. She was kind enough to prepare very basic breakfast everyday, but I would rather have cappucinos and fresh pastries on the street. I had problems with my bedroom's key-locker on the first day, which I asked Lory to fix, which she promptly did, but neverthless it never worked well. Since I was the only guest then and got to know her a little better, I just decided to leave the door opened and not to bother about it. Also, the wi-fi signal was very bad, but I was using my own European 3g chip. Sleeping sometimes was a problem as well, either because I am very sensitive to noise around the house or because of the light coming through the bedroom's door which had a translucent glass panel (so I would either sleep upside down in bed or use a mask). Last thing to say is that you may not exceed around 10 minutes in the shower, because the apartment is supplied with a small boiler. And if there is more than one person taking showers at one time, it needs to be arranged, but not a problem either. That all being said, Lori is a very nice and helpfull host who lives in the apartment with her very sweet dog, which I will miss. Thanks you, Lory, for everything and your pacience with my Italian!

Response from Lory:
Thank you Rose for your feedback but I wont tell you that the boiler was 100 litres, the biggest one, and you use all the water. I don't have any problem also with 4 people, maybe you use to do a long shower. But no problem for me you are very nice.

My experience in Rome was amazing. Lory was extremely hospitable and helpful if we had questions or requests. The apartment had an awesome location very close to a train station and the Colosseum. The bedroom was as advertised and very cozy. A great experience.

Our experience at Lory's has been somewhat tainted by the fact that our daughter arrived to Rome sick and had to spend four days at a local hospital. My wife was alone while I was out of town so the appartment was virtually of no use during the first four nights of their stay in town. By the fifth day I managed to reach them and take them to the appartment where we stayed a couple of nights before departing. The room was clean though a bit towards the small size compared to what we'd imagined by the looking at the pictures on the web site. The bathroom was perfectly functional and the shower had good pressure. The host has a strict policy towards controlling if all electrical outlets are left off when leaving the room so make sure you do. Although Lory was gratious enough to let my wife use the fridge to store medicin and some beverages for our sick daughter, the kitchen is mostly off limits. I've already suggested Lory to install a small fridge on each room, it would be of much help for guests and host. Lory was very flexible with my wife and daughter check-in and our check-out time. We're very familiar with the neighborhood and can say that the location is very convenient when visiting Rome. The room faces an adjacent street which makes it quiet for roman standards. Thank you Lory.

Response from Lory:
Thanks Ramiro, but since I am very precise and remember my guests the house rules, I say that you came on the fourth day and not the fifth, and I tell you that the room was not suitable for 3 persone. So you can't say that the room was small since you've paid for two. In any case, you are very polite people, I was very sorry for your little girl. Thank you Ramiro

My stay at Lory's place was not bad. The bedroom is clean and comfortable. But the appartment is not located at Monti, even it's close to this area and the welcome by Lory was not my best ones within my travel in Italy. Though her place is okay for a short trip.

Response from Lory:
Hi Celine my b&b is located in Monti district, maybe you don't know Rome. before to speak you have to inform about that. Now I have to tell that you are not one of my best guest becouse you don't let the key the night before your check out like I tell you.
