Kihei Garden Estates is a block away from a fantastic swimming beach with smooth, soft sand. Reach the island's best coffee shop called Akamai in 2 minutes, along with restaurants, gym, bike, scooter and car rentals, shave ice stall, post office, performance theatre, a dessert stop called Maui Pies, a grocery store that is open until 1am and quaint shops.

Our neighbourhood is quiet and is full of more locals than tourists. We love our community.

My husband and I live between the Okanagan in Western Canada and the beaches of Kihei on Maui, HI. We are high school sweethearts and we’ve been together now for almost 20 years. In Canada I own and operate an event decorating company and Erik is a mechanical engineer. Our first trip to Maui was in January of (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) We fell in love with the island instantly (yes..we were there during the false missile alert). Through that crazy experience we started to reevaluate our priorities and Erik and I decided that life was too short not to prioritize more time with one another. Erik stepped aside from his career as an engineer and he joined my decor company so we could enjoy our winters together. We got possession of our loft in May of (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) and we curated a home that we loved (complete with a swinging porch chair, two ukuleles & a vinyl record player). We designed PRAY for SURF loft with great detail so that our guests would feel right at home. Due to our beloved dogs being unable to fly and our business in Canada we can only spend a couple months in Maui so we share ‘PRAY for SURF loft’ with our Airbnb guests the other 9 months of the year. We possess a joint passion for house concerts, buttered popcorn (me more than Erik), shave ice from Ululani's, surfing, rock climbing (Erik more than me), Japanese cuisine and spontaneous road trips, volunteerism, our fur babies back in Canada and hospitality in general (when I don't have to cook). We hope that everyone gets to experience the vast beauty and versatile outdoor activities that Maui has to offer. There’s so much warm hospitality exuding from this special island.
