Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Roquefort-des-Corbières

Eric and his partner have lovingly restored and built this property set around the ruins of a 12 Century castle. It is astonishingly beautiful. On the roof terrace there is also a small shared pool. We were here out of season, but it was a lovely hot day, so Eric got up early in the morning to open and clean the pool for us. The inside is equally charming and the nights were super cold, but the heating works extremely well. Eric is an artist and also showed us his atelier- really beautiful paintings. I couldn’t recommend this place more. It is authentic with beautiful surroundings and the nicest possible host. I will recommend this to all my friends and would like to return for an extended stay.

Very good welcome. Flexible hours. Impeccable accommodation. Good bedding. Peaceful residence. The new fans installed in the rooms are efficient and quiet. Nice outdoor terrace. This cottage is central for visiting the hinterland or the seaside. Close to the highway that goes down to Spain. I recommend it. Very good stay. Thanks again to Sophie for hosting us.

A very cute little place!

Very pretty little old town house. Not a view from the terrace, but windless and cozy. 1000 mosquitoes everywhere. We really appreciated the village life. Everything around the corner, bakeries, groceries, bars and restaurants. Very good location for beautiful hikes through the water landscape and trips to Narbonne and Carcassonne.

An absolutely awesome stay!!! The cottage is beautiful, decorated with great taste, modern, warm and very well thought out. The jacuzzi is great: no neighbors, a real little corner of paradise to relax. The setting is idyllic, calm and soothing, perfect for a break for two. Marie and Gilles are very responsive and caring, which makes the experience even more enjoyable! We highly recommend this accommodation, and we will return with great pleasure!

The house is very nice, a warm and clean place with a very nice bathroom. The atypical and beautiful village with these restaurants and discoveries of winemaking estates. The sea is just 20 minutes from the house. We enjoyed the visit to the underground cellar of Terravinea. Jonathan is a welcoming host, available and always attentive to ensure that our stay goes smoothly.

Jean Michel was very understanding, which allowed us to arrive at a time suitable for our baby. Large living space and well-oriented terrace to avoid suffering from the heat. The air conditioning is really an asset. Nice little walks in the surroundings. Jean Michel took the time to welcome us and advise us.

It was again very pleasant to stay at Bruno's, who is a welcoming and attentive host. The accommodation remains cool despite the heat and the bedding is very comfortable. This is my 3rd stay. And if I still have the opportunity, I will go back next year.

Very clean accommodation, a pleasant and shaded terrace, in a beautiful little village. It was very hot in Roquefort des Corbières and Monique kindly provided us with a fan. We will come back without hesitation.

The accommodation was great. I have never stayed in such a well-equipped holiday flat. We really had everything we needed. The view was fantastic. In general, the flat was very tastefully furnished. We felt very comfortable and would have liked to stay longer.

I will summarize our stay in one word: PERFECT. Christelle knows how to put us at ease and represents her region well. The accommodation, its location and the quiet of the area are undeniable assets that our host highlighted. The highlight of the accommodation: a terrace with a 360° view that makes you want to stroll. The shops that are a 5-minute walk away are also a plus. I'd recommend it without a second thought. I also thank our host for having exceptionally accepted our arrival 2 hours earlier and the delicate attention of a fresh juice to welcome us on our arrival. 🙏👍👏👏👏

Fantastic, stylish and thoughtfully designed apartment in a brilliant location. We had a sea view from our large balcony with glass walls so we could enjoy it even when sitting down. The kitchen was very well equipped, the shower very powerful , the beds very comfortable and the air con and ceiling fans kept us cool in the 30 degree heat. Julien was a great host, responding quickly to all our queries. And the area is delightful. A long pristine beach just a stone’s throw away, lots of very good restaurants and bars, and attractions like a water park nearby. Perfect!

Beautiful apartment with everything we needed. Away from the main centre of the town, but easily walkable to many eating places. We enjoyed Mas Larrieu, and our meal at Le Salamandre in Sorede was superb.
