Holiday rentals with lake access in Roscommon County

My family and I stayed here for a Memorial weekend. We were able to relax and unwind in the beautiful house and yard. We loved the wood supply for outdoor fires and the kitchen for the ability to cook 2 dinners and all breakfast meals in it. We appreciated the comfort of the house and the quietness of the neighborhood

amazing place to stay! well stocked with kitchen cooking utensils and everything you can think of. the bedrooms were amazing and my kids loved the bunk beds.

Great location for ice fishing. Listing is accurate, spacious and clean. Will definitely book again and look forward to checking this home out for a summer trip. Host is very responsive, friendly and helpful!

We had an awesome weekend stay at Higgins hideout. Tara, was an amazing host. She was very hospitable, and quick to reply with any questions we had. The property was as beautiful as described, inside and out. Not to mention the convenience of the state park/boat launch being only a couple minute drive! We will definitely be back!

This was our second stay with Terry & we will definitely be back! He always goes above & beyond to make sure we have everything we need & is very communicative. Can’t recommend enough!

We really enjoyed staying at Fawn’s place!! This was a top tier place! She thought of everything and provided so many extras like snacks, an assortment of drinks and even chocolates on the pillows. The decor was very well done and it was so clean and comfortable. It was a great spot to stay as we explored some of north Michigan. We slept well and the surroundings were very peaceful and quiet. We would stay here again without any hesitation. Fawn was quick to answer questions and help in any way. We enjoyed staying here very much!!

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Super cute apartment unit! They had all the amenities, clear instructions, it was super clean and easy to check in and out of! Very nice! The host was super helpful with instructions and information before check in too!

We have stayed several times now. This place has a beautiful view of Lake Missaukee. They are always accommodating with check-in time. Check in and out was easy. Walking distance to restaurants. It had everything we needed. Host was very responsive.

Karen was an amazing host! Check in was extremely easy and the place was easy to find! Both Karen and Mark were so so friendly! My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed wandering through Karen's shop downstairs all while chatting with Karen the whole time. We felt like we've known her for years! She was so helpful while I was trying to find the perfect gift in her shop. The space we stayed in was perfect! It was cozy, comfortable and clean! The black out curtains were welcomed, as were the A/C's and fan! The furniture was comfortable and everything we needed for the weekend. Highly recommend to anyone, and we will definitely be back in the event we come back to that area. Zero complaints!

Jillian and Tim's place was beautiful and right on Houghton Lake. It was clean and the sunrise was gorgeous. We were barely here because we had a baseball tournament in West Branch, but it was a very cozy spot to sleep and seemed like a great place to spend a weekend on the lake!

The cottage was immaculately clean, with plenty of amenities that made us feel right at home. Excellent communication by the hosts again made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended, and we'll be back in the summer for sure!

My family, friends, and I enjoyed staying at Tim’s property once again. Tim is easy to reach if needed for anything, and was a great host. The property is well located and beautiful! Walking distance to dine out, or just a few minutes drive to get groceries, while still feeling tucked away. We hope to stay again next summer.

My husband and I and our two girls had a wonderful time. The girls loved the loft area. Beautiful fall colors. We went to the Charlevoix Apple Fest while in town, and found some petoskey stones as well. Highly recommended wood shop social restaurant in Mount Pleasant. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Loved the cabin!!! Super cute and homey, loved how pet friendly it was. The hosts were super responsive and went above and beyond for welcoming. Will definitely book again as we come up often!

This place was great. nice cozy great extras. Bikes, kayaks and a spacious fire pit. great Keruig awesome game room. would be awesome in the summer!!!!! worth it.

Our family had a mini reunion at the cottage. All was clean and tidy. The cottage was fully stocked for all needs. The large kitchen was big enough for our 3 ladies who enjoyed creating meals in it. A first aide kit was found when an injury occurred. Beds were very comfy....as was the airbed. Short walk to dock....doable even for old geezers. Lake was fabulous. Furnished toys...kayaks....paddle boards ...were fun to use. Everything was furnished for a bonfire...wood...kindling....marshmallow cooking sticks....graham crackers...chocolate...marshmallows. Also a breakfast casserole....already made...we just had to put it in the oven. And it was delicious! The only thing that was a problem...was....entry into the lake from the dock was extremely difficult. There is a ladder...but is very verticle....if you are older it can be a challenge. Water is very shallow and jumping off dock is kind of risky. Overall..A great place to rent. Owners are great.
