Had such a lovely stay at Ashley & Simon's cottage. Me and my boyfriend felt right at home as soon as we got there and both hosts were so friendly from the get go. The decor was stunning and so homely - loved the artwork in the bedroom! Everything we needed was already equipped in the cottage. The bed was SUPER comfy and the hot tub was a great way to end our little week away 😍🛀 Would definitely stay here again if ever in Kelso! Highly recommend! ⭐️

We made full use of the pool and hot tub and enjoyed a walk round the lakes. will certainly recommend. thankyou

Comfortable home in beautiful surroundings. Really responsive and friendly host. En-suite bathrooms to each bedroom and the beds were super comfy. Great parking and charger for electric car - lovely walks nearby along the river and the horse in the field behind had just given birth to a foal so our daughter was mesmerised. Oh I forgot the hot tub - that was great too!

Amazing stay at Gatehouse Barn. It is a really lovely, homely, welcoming place to stay. Plenty of sleeping options downstairs and up and a cosy living space. Also loads of seating areas outside which were perfect to enjoy the sun. The area is really quiet and peaceful and the location of the barn is extra secluded and private. As a final bonus, the attached spa area was a real treat after long walks (loads of which can start literally from the front door).

Fabulous! We had 6 days at the Old Piggery and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts are brilliant and the accommodation equally brilliant too. Peaceful location, well kept gardens, lovely hot tub and there was everything we needed at the accommodation. The hosts also left us some lovely surprises/treats too. Very thoughtful! We enjoyed it so much we didn't want to come home and we will be back again in future. Thank you Sue and Phil!

We had an absolute wonderful two-night stay at this cottage! It's lovely, spotlessly clean, and incredibly well-equipped with everything you could need. The welcome gifts were a delightful surprise, and the hosts were so friendly and quick to respond to all our messages. The location is perfect, just a short few minutes drive to the beach. What truly stood out was their amazing hospitality: we accidentally left something behind, and they sent it to us via next-day delivery without hesitation. We can't recommend this place enough!

Spent 3 lovely peaceful days here! The place is spotless. Easy to check in, but quite a late one for standard check in times. Even with surrounding neighbours there was minimal disturbance.

A perfect holiday cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location. Great views from all the windows and a fantastic garden. It is very warm and welcoming, spotlessly clean, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Welcome treats were a thoughtful touch and Angela has been a great host. Exceeded our (already high) expectations -- one of the best Airbnb rentals I've stayed in!

The cottage was beautiful, very clean and had everything you need to feel like home from home. The area is very easy to get to but feels like you are deep in the countryside. Will definitely return on my next trip to UK. 10/10

We had a wonderful stay! Sarah added lovely touches like fresh flowers and delicious shortbread, which made us feel so welcome. The big garden was perfect for our dog, who absolutely loved exploring. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, we enjoyed watching the local wildlife and farm animals. A truly peaceful and charming getaway — we can’t wait to come back! A slight problem with the hot water and Sarah was great. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend

Absolutely fabulous place, just what we wanted, and more. Really well equipped and do tastefully decorated. Couldn’t fault it. It was such a lovely location too. My dog loved it and was safe in both front and back garden. Ian and Felicity were great hosts. Will definitely be returning. And will recommend to friends. Absolutely stunning property, was immaculate throughout. Even games to keep us entertained in the property. In a beautiful and peaceful location. Having a spaniel that likes to explore we were at ease knowing the garden was secure! Would definitely return. Thank you so much x

This was our second visit to Julie, It had lost none of its magic second time around.The accommodation is very clean and inviting,the outside space is lovely and relaxing...the views are stunning and all you can hear are the birds singing. Gorgeous cottage in a lovely location. We enjoyed the space available in the cottage and the garden was great for us and our dog. Nice places to walk nearby and places to eat in Wooler. A great base for exploring Northumberland.

School Cottage was the perfect way to end energetic days spent re-discovering Tyneside and the towns of Hexham, Corbridge and Morpeth. It's a lovely house with all the amenities we need, in a quiet location but near enough for us to walk into Hexham. Also, the train service to Newcastle and beyond is convenient and inexpensive: it made a nice change from using the car. We'd not visited for a few years and had forgotten just how wonderful this part of England is. We're already planning another trip towards the end of the year and hope that School Cottage is available. Thank you, Jim and Pat

We had a lovely stay at Elyvale. The location is the perfect place to stay whilst visiting Rothbury & the surrounding areas. Such a peaceful place with all the local amenities a short stroll away. The cottage is full of character and was spotlessly clean, and has all you need for your stay. Claire Is a friendly and helpful host with Excellent communication throughout. The little extras supplied such as bread, milk & biscuits was very nice. We plan to visit the area again in the future & would definitely book Elyvale cottage again. We spent a week at this beautiful cottage for my birthday. We chose Picklewood for the layout, traveling with my dad who is 91 we needed somewhere with level access. The cottage itself is stunning and is a bit of a tardis, it’s bright and spacious and the photos really don’t do it justice, it has a lovely homely feel too. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed, the welcome pack was lovely too. The view of the surrounding countryside is beautiful and the sheep and lambs in the neighbouring field kept us entertained. We hadn’t planned on bringing my sisters dog, but a last minute issue meant we needed to bring her. Aimee was very helpful when I asked if we could add Jess to the booking. The location is so peaceful, but only a 10 minute walk into the village. With a local shop that has everything you could need, a butchers and a renowned bakery. We had tea at the village pub and were not disappointed. If you are looking for a relaxing break you won’t go wrong with this cottage

Beautiful cottage, everything you could possibly need provided including a lovely basket of breakfast supplies plus biscuits. It is very well looked after,comfortable and peaceful. Patricia was very friendly and helpful, she answers emails very quickly. There are plenty of restaurants not far away in Alnwick and Morpeth and lovely pubs locally.

A well equipped house with character which was a great place to spend a week exploring the south of Northumberland. The house has character, is in a quiet spot on a hill overlooking fields and is well equipped. John was there if we needed him and always chatty and helpful when. We'd definitely stay again!

We cannot reccomend a stay at capheaton estate highly enough. A beautiful cottage, with comfortable and luxurious finishing touches in incredibly peaceful surroundings, responsive and helpful hosts. Such a wonderful place to relax, away from the busy world, but close to some great pubs and within reach of key attractions. Would happily stay again.

Very warm welcome from Graham & Jackie, with helpful advice on places to visit and where to shop for groceries, etc. The Coach House had all we needed for the week, with great accommodation and spacious areas outside with great views across to the Cheviot Hills. Small but very functional kitchen and bathroom, which made great use of the available space. We would certainly enjoy another future visit here!
