Carnegie Library: Bronte Apartment

Carnegie Library, built in 1906 and continued as a library up until 1970s. This apartment was the reading room. Beautiful original large arched windows bring natural light to the place. It is an unusual layout with mezzanine floor for the bedroom and a little nook area for the sofa bed. Separate bathroom with shower etc. Please note you are coming to an ex mining village so while Swinton it's self is not a holiday area , it is central to many interesting places around.

Come and stay in our beautiful Victorian home in the leafy Sheffield suburb of Nether Edge! We have a large double room in the attic of our family home. There is also a (not en suite) shower room the in the attic. Nether Edge is within walking distance of restaurants, bars and independent cafes, and we are just 15 minutes drive from the heart of the Peak District. We aim to give guests peace, privacy, and a great night of sleep in a clean and comfortable room.

I live close to both train and bus stops. The train runs twice an hour and is 6 mins to Meadowhall 12 to Sheffield. The bus runs every 10 mins and takes about 30 mins. I am 10 mins from Motorway. The room is a guestroom. I am retired. Access to my property is down the side of number 4. I am near Asda .There are several places to eat 5 mins walk away.
