The Spruce Nest

Stay in a historic home in Old Town Steamboat Springs built 1907. We have added an entry, dining room, master bedroom and bath and powder bath. However, we have kept the original two-story home in tact, similar to the early 1900's. We even used original wood from the walls to accent the exterior. In the process of remodeling, we have found many historic items of earlier days - an old shoe & many small items that are on display. Within walking distance of downtown. (Please read Show More)

Easy as Ski-in-Out/Grt Reviews/No car needed

You only need to walk 30 seconds to the free bus and it is one stop to the gondola base. It is four stops to downtown, a two minute walk from grocery store, liquor store, restaurants, etc. Mountain views. It is a comfortable, stocked home, children are welcome, one dog. Location is a bonus, combined with the comfort of the living space, plus a sizable sunny deck. This is an easy way to have ample parking, leave the car, access all of town, ski, visit hot springs and the views surpass!

Very clean very nice overall, check in and check out was easy and the location near steamboat was great. Only issue we had was one of the pullout couches was a but dirty, but there were spare sheets which we were able to swap out. Kitchen wasnice with all the equipment we needed.

Steamboat Resort 1 Bd 1 Bth

This stay was more than we expected. Easy check in. Free shuttle to the base of the mountain every 15 minutes. Free wifi. Clean bathrooms, bedroom and kitchen area. Kitchen had extra silverware. Full size washer/dryer, refrigerator and dishwasher. Ligia was extremely responsive and helpful with everything we needed.

What an idyllic home. We had the most perfect weekend & having this place as our landing spot made it all the more excellent. The garden is beautiful, the deck is spacious, the beds were comfortable, the house was pristinely clean, and everything was very well-appointed. Great location & Tom is a tremendous host. 10/10 recommend!

great location for a ski trip, with convenient shuttles to the gondola. the condo was clean with a full kitchen. the living room is on the small side, but 4 adults stayed in the condo very comfortably. would definitely stay there again.

My family of 9 loved this condo ..lots of room. We cook a lot so loved the kitchen. Plenty of room for dining and playing games at the table. Very sound proof. I was next to my 5 grand boys and did not hear them playing. Having separate bedrooms and bathrooms was great. I neglected to realize it was 2 floors up with only steps yet grandsons carried up everything. The only thing that stood out is the 2 bedrooms on main floor only has ceiling fan and box fan. No wall AC which those rooms did get quite warm. Thought AC was thru the full Condo. Besides that we had a great time. Loved access to pool and grill and picnic table. Enjoyed pool table also. Saw a moose right at the creek. Enjoyed that the Ski Village was so close. My only disappointment was I did not stay longer 😀😀😀

We had a lovely stay at this very comfortable condo. The location was convenient to shopping and the mountain. The shuttle was excellent - always running, great drivers , and we were so close it was a quick ride. The steam and sauna were excellent and close to our building. The front desk provided anything we needed during our stay. We really enjoyed our visit.

My partner and I went to Steamboat expecting a simple accommodation and we were pleasantly surprised with the elegance and coziness of the apartment/condo! The front desk staff were very friendly and gave clear instructions on how to get to our building. While the stay itself didn’t go as planned as I ended up catching a cold on the slopes, I was still happy to curl up on the comfy couch and enjoy the fireplace! I would definitely stay again, given the chance. Thanks for hosting!

We loved our time here. The views, the mountains, the pool and hot tub all were fantastic. Our family enjoyed the sweet cabin feel and our time of movie nights, dinners in and game nights. The kitchen is well stocked, organized and clean.
