Family-friendly holiday rentals in Roxbury

Not sure if it was the mattress, the sheets and quilt, the pillows, the Vermont woods, Vermont fresh air, or the rain hitting the roof… maybe all of it… but, my husband and I have not slept so well in… maybe EVER! Rob’s home is super comfy and dog friendly. The hot tub is a nice feature and works wonderfully. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful location for your visit, this hits all the marks. Sitting outside with your morning coffee is a treat. If weather doesn’t cooperate, recommend sitting in the den in front of the picture window. Our old dog truly appreciated exploring the fenced yard, and we loved allowing him off off-leash. Great place to stay!

Beautiful home, as described. Nice personal touches with towels and mini shampoo/conditioner. Kitchen is large and has most every appliance you would want. Caretaker does come in twice per day but is friendly and unobtrusive. You do need AWD/4WD to access the house.

Extremely nice cabin, very recently renovated. The owner has a keen eye for organization, everything is neatly placed where it should be. Linens are clean, beds were super comfortable. Amazing stay, thank you Cathy

We had a wonderful stay at the Monty's place -- the apartment was well stocked with many thoughtful items, the area is very peaceful and near to outdoor activities, and the hosts were friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

We really enjoyed this place! The property is beautiful. The pool looked really clean and well cared for (but we didn't have a chance to use it). The supplied linens and especially the bath towels were great. This certainly will be on our list the next time are in VT.

Great place to stay! The hot tub after a long day of snowboarding was amazing. Dean responds fast to any questions you have too. Definitely recommend

We had a lovely stay! The place was clean,cosy, and well stocked. With Everything we needed. The HotTub and Sauna were a nice bonus. Perfect for relaxing after a long day. We would definitely stay here again. Bill and Chris O’Brien

Home now after a couple days at the cabin. Feeling fully rested and can’t express enough how much we needed this getaway. Ago and Marty go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and provide you with everything you could need to relax and have a great time. We will be coming back here. Hopefully soon.

A wonderful place to stay. As a host Matthew goes the extra mile. We stay here every year and this year my 7 year old niece visited and is now making plans for next year. Family memories in the making. Thank you for sharing this special place. It's always a joy to go and stay.

the setting was beautiful and quiet. it was easy for both myself and my niece to find it separately. the linens and the amenities in the kitchen were excellent and the reason that I chose it because I knew we would probably be eating most of our meals together at the Airbnb

Our family had another wonderful stay at the farmhouse. The location was perfect- a 10 minute drive to the ski mountains, a few minutes from Flatbread...close to everywhere we went. The house was clean and welcoming and our experience was great. We are looking forward to coming back in a few months!

Chad was an incredible host! He was extremely accommodating with any requests we had. The views from his place are breath-taking! We enjoyed snowshoeing from the backyard onto trails in the woods. I fell in love with his cat who visited daily! He kept the driveway plowed and salted in a timely fashion. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend his place!

This was are 3rd visit and first visit with our 5 + 7 year old. We loved hiking down to the pond and spending the day there on the cute sandy beach. Cool evenings around the fire pit making s’mores was the perfect ending to the day. The cabin was SO clean and a great fit for our family of 4. Thank you!!!

This is a wonderful place to stay. It’s very clean and the hosts have prepared for everything. It feels like your own cabin in the woods. Plus there are so many activities in a short distance of the place.

Had a great time at Janie’s chalet. It was peaceful and quiet. Janie was a great host and very attentive.

Claudia's place was EXACTLY what we were looking for on our VT getaway. Close to Stowe and Morristown, yet outside the madness of being in town. Claudia was the perfect host......accommodative, Fast response to messages, friendly and helpful. Despite other cabins on the property, this place was very private. Mr Charlie loved the fenced in yard to run loose in and the deck was perfect for sitting and relaxing. Would definitely consider this space again on our next trip to VT.

My husband and I stayed here to do a few days of spring skiing at Sugarbush. The location is perfect, a short walk to the slopes when there's snow. Two-minute drive to resort if snow is sparse. Sugarbush is a huge resort and has many options for all skills of skiing. The condo was spotless and had a full kitchen with plenty of pots and pans, etc. It was very comfortable and also had a selection of books and games to choose from. Host was very responsive and gave perfect instructions. Thank you!

all around the house was so pretty! flowers and felt like you're in the middle of the forest, the house standing on a small hill and the only exit is through one driveway on a mini bridge, which is very cute and secluded. The only downside is sooooo many mosquitoes, but thats honestly everywhere especially if you're in the forest. This place gives off you're visiting your grandparents home, which felt very nice and refreshing especially since we're from a rowdy city.

beautiful property. very private. our dog really enjoyed. the patio had swings with the river view it was gorgeous.

The place was quite nice. Views of the hilltop were spectacular. It felt quite private. Getting to it in the winter would be a problem without four-wheel-drive. It’s probably best if this isn’t your first time using four-wheel-drive on back roads. I recommend it, especially for larger parties. There’s plenty of room. You can always retreat to the large porch with plenty of chairs if they start driving you crazy.

weekend family trip for 6 of us and our dog(4 adults and 2 kids), plenty of space for everyone, and much larger than I expected! we enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen, playing board games on the large dining room table, swimming in the pool and soaking in the hot tub, wrapping the nights up with a movie on their Roku TV! Kristin was very responsive in her communication, we had a lovely time and would love to plan future trips here again!

Linda was a fantastic host, and her home was even better than listed. The cabin was a good size for our family of four + dog; the 2 bed / 2 bath arrangement allowed for good privacy when needed. The fireplace was great for apres and winding down at night. Location is a nice mix of seclusion (off the Mountain Rd), but close to everything.

The place was great, clean, nice bathrooms. The oven seemed like it wouldn't go up to temperature at one point so I messaged the host and they responded right away to get the maintenance folks over. But it turned out that it was just set to Celsius and I was able to look up how to change it online (Hold down the broil button!). There were PLENTY of towels/linens which was nice.

We enjoyed the stay. Good weather so did not need AC. Good thick towels.
