Clean, bright, contemporary, and decorated with a striking collection of modern indigenous artwork, this Elizabeth Bay/Rushcutters Bay apartment offers guests a sheltered and sophisticated home just minutes from all the entertainment Sydney has to offer. Situated in one of the most cosmopolitan neighbourhoods in Australia, it is a vibrant inner-urban community with grand old Art Deco buildings and harbour-side parks. It's walking distance to the city through the Botanic Gardens. Our home is well designed, comfortable, clean, secure and fully equipped with everything you will need. Welcome to our gorgeous apartment in the heart of Sydney's most stylish neighbourhood, Elizabeth Bay/Rushcutters Bay. The apartment is located on the entry level of a secure building, faces north with tranquil garden views. Although very central the apartment is located in a quiet, leafy street. The studio is fashionably decorated and is styled with captivating and dynamic contemporary Australian Indigenous art. Our apartment comfortably fits two people with a real (and comfortable) queen size bed, but can easily accommodate a 3rd guest on the large sofa. On arrival please make yourself at home. I have left a tray with essentials bread, milk, etc or there is a bottle of Australian wine in the fridge. Designed and equipped for Airbnb visitors, the apartment is surrounded by walking streets, shopping, cafes and restaurants in an attractive village style area. The weekend markets are full of organic produce, quirky street shopping & more great coffee! Metro buses & trains are only minutes away, although it's only a short walk to the city and surrounds. The apartment is 5 minutes walk to harbour side, Beare and Rushcutters Bay parks, tennis courts and marina. It is 5 - 15 minutes walk to galleries, and the retail and restaurant precincts of Darlinghurst, Surry Hills, Woolloomooloo and Potts Point. We provide a computer/internet/wi fi/television for use, plus a few notable books and guides that will introduce you to Australian/Sydney life and culture. The kitchen has ample cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, oven, microwave, large fridge, dishwasher and essential foodstuffs for your visit. Towels and fresh linen are provided and the bathroom is stocked with a variety of toiletries and many handy items to enhance your visit if you should need them. The bathroom includes a washing machine/dryer & hairdryer and powerpoint in the cupboard. There is a very long full length mirror in the hallway. The apartment is comfortable, well appointed, clean and safe. There is also a roof top garden area for views of surrounding regions and embodies an outdoor, more casual roof-top garden atmosphere. You will have the entire apartment to yourselves. We will try to meet you as you arrive to give the grande tour plus leave you the keys. However, my busy academic schedule precludes being available all of the time. I visit the Western Desert regularly. Details will be provided at time of booking. There is one set of keys, two keys to the set. Please leave the keys on the kitchen bench when you leave. We will always be available via phone or email (even when we are outside of Sydney metro region). In the event of an emergency, you will find a list of contact details in the house manual. I'm available on email, text message or by phone (if I'm not in a meeting!). I pride myself on being responsive. Within easy reach of Sydney's cultural attractions, but sheltered in picturesque surroundings, Elizabeth Bay is a relaxed neighbourhood with a wonderful array of boutique shops, noteworthy restaurants, cosy cafes, and organic farmers' markets. The apartment is set in a quiet leafy street in an inner-city area of Sydney, about two kilometres east of the CBD, central to the fashionable suburbs of Potts Point, Elizabeth Bay, Rushcutters Bay, Kings Cross and Darlinghurst. Walk just about everywhere. I prefer to walk everywhere - is the perfect place to start exploring what the city has to offer. Transport options are abundant. Bus stop is located 2 mins from the apartment. Kings cross train station is a short 5min stroll from the studio and there is abundance of taxis around. Plenty of choices! Although designed for the comfort of Airbnb visitors, the small studio apartment is also treated as our home away from home. As my daughter (in New York) and myself (Hawkesbury region on the outskirts of Sydney) frequently stay in Sydney, we have endeavoured to make the space as comfortable and stylish as possible for our stopovers and short breaks. We hope that our guests enjoy it as much as we do. Sophisticated, Boutique Pop Art Inspired Apartment

Upon entry, you are greeted with a light and open hall. Lined with classic, print from some of Hollywood’s greatest productions, you are lead into the main communal area. If you're tired of exploring the city or after a long day at the office, then why not just kick back and relax on the comfortable sofa that greats you. The lounge area includes the aforementioned sofa to unwind on as well as relaxing executive chair that can be extended into a single sofa bed and an impressive Samsung smartTV which will allow you to access all your on-demand content such as Netflix, stan and SBS to name a few (no discrimination to those not listed). Wifi is obviously provided and this includes unlimited data. We all have to eat and on that topic, you will be happy to find a modern and fully equipped kitchen that has everything you would expect from an apartment of this quality. An integrated gas hob with electric oven and dishwasher are only the start. Coffee machine to help raise you on a morning, stainless appliances, microwave, toaster, rice cooker you have it all, including complete cooking utensils and if you arrive late on the first day we have stocked the cupboards with basics and also provided organic bread, milk, butter, eggs and fresh orange juice to make that 1st breakfast a little less stressful. Did I mention those stunning Andy Warhol Chanel prints? The lounge area flows into a spacious Sun Room that you will find divided into 2 spaces a dining area with a large oak table that can comfortably seat 4 and a dedicated workspace. The workspace is readily prepared with an additional monitor (HDMI, DVI & VGA) USB keyboard and mouse, printer and I’ve even included some paper experience has shown a printer is useless without this. Back down the hall and the first door takes you into the spacious Bathroom, pristine white fixtures and a large waterfall showerhead. Fresh towels as well as complimentary soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided and should you need there are additional towels located in the large wardrobe located in the bedroom. The bathroom also houses the laundry area with both separate dryer and washer, washing powder can be located under the bathroom sink. The final room is the master suite complete with a luxurious queen-sized bed topped with crisp cotton linen, through and cushions. The room is illuminated by an elegant glass chandelier from the ceiling and 2 vintage style squirrel cage bedside lamps. Ample storage is provided in the form of an oversized built-in wardrobe hidden behind 2 floor to ceiling sliding mirrored doors, hangers are provided so no need to worry about creased clothing and you will also find an iron and ironing board in the right-hand wardrobe. The opposite side of the room has a dark wood 3 drawer dresser with a large illuminated mirror above. There is a hairdryer located in the bottom drawer should you have by accident left your at home, I decided to include this little touch after falling for that mistake myself. Conclusion: The apartment is equipped with anything you might need (and more) to make sure your stay a pleasurable and enjoyable experience, anything missing then like any hospitable host I will do my best to assist 😊 You have the entire apartment to your self to enjoy, make yourself at home 🏡 I make every effort to greet guests on arrival, I don’t want you to have any questions unanswered or feel in the dark. During your stay, I am generally in town and just in the next suburb over so if you need anything I can (and will!) usually sort you out quick smart. The flat is in the Stanmore neighbourhood, four miles from the CBD. It's close to independent cafes serving fresh coffee, Italian food with an Australian twist (Norton Street), and the Camperdown Oval. It's only 15 minutes to the Opera House. The Apartment has excellent public transport links and street parking is a plenty and unrestricted. This is a new listing and offered at an introductory price I hope your stay is everying you would hope for...

Bright Urban Studio with Private Courtyard

This is a self contained private room, with your own kitchenette, bathroom and courtyard, in a very handy location, minutes walk to the city, shops, restaurants and transport. You will be in Chippendale, there is plenty of good cafes, funky restaurants, bars and art galleries around, including the world famous White Rabbit Gallery. The house is a 7 minute walk to Redfern Station or 10 minutes to Central train Station, 20-50 min walk to the city, and is very close to Broadway Shopping Centre and Central Park where you can do your shopping. It is only a 20 minute walk to the buzzing Newtown, Surry Hills and Darling Harbour with all of their restaurants and pubs . Also at walking distance is Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPA), Sydney University (USYD), University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and Carriageworks. It is very easy to get to all Sydney's major attractions from here - you are one easy 15 min bus ride or train ride away from the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. It takes minutes to drive to Bondi and many other beaches as well as National Parks. From the airport it is only a 20 minute drive, or a short train ride. This place has everything you need to have a lovely and comfortable stay: - wi-fi Internet; - 39-inch Smart TV, so that you can log into your Netflix, Stan and others apps to watch your favourite movies and videos; - kitchen with all appliances, including fridge, 2 burner cooktop, and a oven/microwave; - a washer/dryer and iron; - queen size bed with super comfy memory foam mattress; - if you would like to sleep separately to your travel partner the sofa bed can be made for a small fee of $25 on request; - portacot, high chair and baby bath are available on request if you are travelling with a little one; - all bed linen and towels are provided. We are looking for someone who will appreciate this place and and take good care of it. Please note: -This studio is a few steps below street level, so you will need to go down a few steps. If you wish to stay for a shorter or longer period of time send me a message and we can work something out. Entire room, with a kitchenette, bathroom and courtyard all for yourself. I give my guests space, but I am always available for questions and can run over should they need anything. Chippendale is a small underground, creative, and funky suburb. It is home to cafes, art galleries, restaurants, bars, parks, and a big sustainable community that keeps verge gardens full of fruit, vegetables, and herbs for all to share. It is super easy to get around by bike, or simply by foot (note it is a 20-50 minute walk into the city depending on where you are going). There are 2 train stations walking distance from the house, Central Station (+or- 11 min walk) or Redfern Station (+or- 7 min walk), There are also buses all around. Street Parking is available, it is paid and time restricted to 1-2 hours during the day. At night it is free and unlimited. There are some free all day parking a short walk away. To get to the house from the Airport the 2 easiest options are: Train - AU$17 per person. It comes every 5 to 10 minutes and it takes about 10-15 minutes into Redfern or Central, then you have to walk for about 10 minutes to the apartment. Taxi - the easiest option and most cost effective if there is more than 1 of you. It costs between $25-$40 and it takes about 20 minutes (allow a little more time to get into and from the International Airport).

We have renovated this old shop top unit in Marrickville to create a spacious and light filled apartment. The rooms are very large with lots of original features. The bedroom is located behind the living room so it is nice and quiet . It has an amazing king size bed and an enormous built in robe.The living room has a very large three seater lounge plus chaise which makes for very comfy sleeping !
