Holiday rentals with a patio in Ruakākā

Great little townhouse, all new and shiny! Got heaps of sun and was toasty warm with the heat pump on the cool mornings. Loved the location it was so handy to the market, shops and theatre. Just a few minutes walk. The bed was super comfy.

What a wonderful stay at peaceful and convenient lovely accommodation. Really felt at home with all the welcoming goodies and guides to things to do in the area. It was spotlessly clean and had all the necessary amenities. Donna was so thoughtful and such a warm person. The stay definitely offers everything for that "feel good factor"

A lovely, roomy, private place. Angela’s communications were excellent - with speedy replies being especially notable. The kitchen is little but don’t let this fool you, it had everything we needed for a weekend at the beach. Highly recommend this place for a weekend near the beach with views of the sea and a considerate communicative host.

I had a wonderful 3 week stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. It felt like a home away from home, with everything I needed for a longer stay. Gary and Hayley were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my visit, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciated the quiet, safe neighborhood and convenient location. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Fantastic villa with everything you could possibly need. Location was 10/10, the village is only a 2-3 min walk away if that but where the villa is located is so quiet and private. The villa was super clean, furnished well, and the bed was really comfortable, also appreciated the quality linens throughout from the beds to the towels. Lovely private deck to enjoy the sunshine. Kitchen had everything you would need for meals, same applies to the bathroom and laundry, everything you would have at home was provided for here. Jenny was a dream to deal with, responded promptly and the lock box check in made it even smoother. We will be definitely be back and are excited to have found a dream little villa to stay at. We will be repeat visitors thats for sure.

Monique's place was just perfect for a couple, tidy and uncluttered, light and bright. The hosts were kind enough to let us check in early and left a few thoughtful treats, which was much appreciated :-) The listed mentioned "The Heart Of Matakana" which is 100% correct. Great location for a walk across the road to restaurants, tap room, movie theater and the Saturday Markets. There is a lot to do in the area, wineries, marine reserves/beaches and sculpture trails to name a few - all within a 15 minute drive

I absolutely loved everything about my stay at the Piki Cottage and can highly recommend it. It is so peaceful, private and relaxing, has everything you need, plus the hosts are so generous, friendly and quick responding. There are so many things to do in the surrounding area, or you can enjoy and explore this wonderful huge garden. I could have stayed forever. Thank you for everything!

We had a wonderful weekend and created some truly beautiful memories in this stunning home. The fireplace was a lovely touch, especially during the chilly mornings and evenings. The kitchen was modern, stylish and very practical, with a massive island bench that worked perfectly for our group. It made cooking and sharing meals together so easy and enjoyable. The hosts were readily available through the Airbnb app whenever we had questions, and they graciously allowed us a slightly later check-out as we were having such a beautiful weekend. The instructions for using the house facilities and checking out were clear and really helpful. The spa pool was amazing and added an extra layer of relaxation to an already perfect weekend. I will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

Anne was incredibly responsive on messages. Made us feel welcome and we had a lovely stay at her Airbnb. The location is incredible, right by the sea. The kayaks and paddle board were a great addition. We were very lucky to have even seen some dolphins while kayaking. Wish we could have stayed longer !

Perfect place, easy relaxing atmosphere

Great host and very good communication, we felt warmly welcomed. The view from the deck and the rooms was beautiful. The place was spacious enough for our small family. The place is cosy, fully equipped and has everything you need. Cafe and Fish and Chips are just down the road. Beautiful surroundings, with plenty to do. We would definitely recommend.

We’ve stayed at many Mangawhai properties and this is a new favourite. Perfect location between estuary and surf beach. Mama and baby slept in the main house and couple with fur child in the self-contained sleep out. Superking bed was a treat, although the mattress too soft for us. The fire place is cosy and the birdsong so tranquil. House is elevated and private but neighbours are still close. A group nearby partied at night but were quiet by 10pm. Leeanne was a responsive, friendly and helpful host. The house has a homely and welcoming vibe . We will stay again!

A great spot for the night. Had everything we needed

We had such a wonderful stay at Janice’s place! From the start, her communication was clear, friendly, and super helpful. The home itself had everything we needed and more—spacious, well-equipped, and really comfortable. The location was perfect for us, close to everything but still peaceful. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax, which made a big difference. We’d definitely love to stay again!
