We can’t say enough nice things about Mark and his wife and their great cabins. Good People. We were right outside Petit Jean State Park. He has bundles of firewood available at a very reasonable price. There’s also a little store with some great homemade fudge,etc right at the entrance to his County Road. We had some car trouble right as we got there, and I called Mark for some local recommendations, and he was happy to accommodate us. Super friendly and helpful, and the shop he recommended took great care of us and had us on the road very quickly. I was worried that our car trouble was going to overshadow the trip, but nothing could be further from the truth. Everyone was so helpful and we enjoyed a great day at the state park and got to see a beautiful sunrise at Petit Jean’s gravesite and overlook by the river, and a Gorgeous sunset at the CCC overlook in the state park. Highly recommended. We would never consider staying anywhere else when we go back to this area.

Waterfall cabin #3 was an absolute dream! It felt like my own private oasis. The waterfall was stunning and felt like I was right on top of it. I hiked down to the bottom and jumped in -so refreshing! There is always a beautiful swimming hole in front of the property with sand, a cabana they are building and tons of chairs. Perfect place to sit and relax. I can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay! We got married this week and the location was perfect. The state park is extremely close and the house itself has a wonderful view. We will likely stay here again without the kids this time.

This was a perfect getaway vacation, with a breathtaking view. Everything was just like the pictures, so beautiful. I would definitely recommend, to anyone that wants a view every second of the day. Wifi works great! And everything was clean. We wish we didn't have to leave so early, but we enjoyed every second of it. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

Loved our stay here! Very peaceful area with lots of outdoor recreation nearby. The cabin itself was so cute that my husband and I want to build our own. Additionally the place was spotless when we arrived. Highly recommend this place!

The hideaway cabin is just what the doctor ordered. Being caught up in the hustle and bustle of life my partner and I needed a weekend filled with peace, nature and to feel right at home. The hideaway cabin took our breath away as soon as we entered, from the decor, to the little details that Kathryn left remembering it was my birthday really lit me up. The neighbors dogs were so welcoming and always gave us some friendly cuddles. Would love to come back to the hideaway cabin as soon as possible. Thank you so much for having us! It was a weekend my partner and I will never forget.

We had an amazing stay at Travis’ family home. It was very serene and peaceful. We rode out side by side all over his place and on the dirt roads in the national forest. We were always seeing something new and had tons of wildlife to see. The water was pristine. We could walk the creek and play in the water all day, everyday. There always seems to be something missing in the kitchen at airbnbs and Travis had it all!!!! We never needed anything because it was already there for us. You can feel the history in the home and I imagine how amazing it’d be to grow up there. His dad did an amazing job! It’s all worth it! Spend the money and stay at this farm. You won’t regret it!

Only problem we had finding prop was expecting to see number on mailbox instead of fence. Everything we needed was provided and more. Everyone from young children to grandparents enjoyed the property. Loved the ambience of the rustic cabin and aroma of cedar. The baked treats were a very nice touch. Lots of room for a gathering of people. Only issue was step up to the back area. Plenty to do on the property in addition to the local attractions. We were all enthralled interacting with the horses. Came prepared to let the little ones try fishing but didn’t get to it. Definitely recommend to someone looking for a place to relax and unwind from the rat race of daily living. Every need anticipated; just need to provide your own meals outside of breakfast.

Beautiful area with some amazing trails within the area. Great 'home base' for exploring. The cabin was perfect and Tracy is wonderful.

Peaceful. Serene. Pristine. Quiet. These are the words that I will use to describe this place. We've been to the Mount Magazine area several times, and each visit has always provided us with exciting new discoveries and beautiful moments. If you wish to get close to nature, find some peace up in the mountains and forests, listen to the sounds of birds, animals, the wind, and the rain, this house is the place for you.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Meek’s Mountaintop Retreat. We were looking for a place to relax, slow down, and enjoy nature, and this was the perfect place. The house had all we needed. The views from the living room were breathtaking. The kitchen was well stocked with anything a person could need to cook with. The bedroom was so cute and the bedding was comfortable. We had all we needed to stay warm when the cooler weather came while we were there. We loved the historic character and charm of the home. As I cooked breakfast, I watched the deer eat and play out the back porch. We grilled and dined on the tables outside. We lounged on the outdoor furniture and drank coffee. It was perfect. The trail system and Sunrise Point is also just steps away from the house. Views were spectacular and pictures don’t do justice. Deborah was friendly, helpful and very accommodating!

Fantastic place. I highly recommend Sarah’s getaway. Absolutely perfect to get some peace and quiet. Amazing view. Beautiful scenery and nature. Very friendly people.

We had a delightful and very laid back time out in the country on top of beautiful Petit Jean Mountain. Rebecca was very prompt in replying to our questions, and after a few settling in issues (smart tvs…ha!) we felt right at home. The screened in porch was our favorite place and we spent hours there reading, painting, and talking. If you are visiting, bring food, but spices are abundant. And if you forget anything, just toddle on up to Mather Lodge Restaurant. All meals we had were tasty and people were so friendly. Nature was on full display…deer, turtles, bullfrogs, many birds, and the road runner was a great sighting! Lovely spot if you’re looking for a country visit with the world not too far away! And the beds were comfy too!

We enjoyed our stay. Water pressure in the kitchen was low but bathroom was okay. We enjoyed the fire pit. Nice gravel driveway with excellent location to ride sxs from the cabin to trails.

We really enjoyed this cozy cabin. I normally don't get a chance to interact with the host but this trip my car battery died so Chris immediately came over and helped give us a jump. I got a chance to talk with them, they are down to earth and extremely talented, as they put alot of work into building their airbnbs. Also, my small dog really benefited from the dog ramp on the porch.

Beautiful views, quiet setting. The house was clean and comfortable. It is far out, however that is what we liked about it. Unfortunately it was a sort stay this time, but we would love to come back to stay longer.

I absolutely loved this tiny house cabin! It was so cozy and had everything I needed. Super clean, really well decorated, and just had that warm, peaceful vibe that makes you instantly feel relaxed. The bed was comfy, and I loved all the little touches—they really thought of everything. It felt super private and quiet, like a little hidden escape. I could’ve stayed way longer! The host was also really nice and made sure everything was perfect. Honestly, such a cute and peaceful spot and I’d definitely come back again!

Wow, the place is unbelievable. Extremely beautiful property with a breathtaking view. Pictures do not do it justice. Spent several hours on the porch every morning watching the wildlife from above. Don’t be surprised if you see an eagle flying by the house, I was able to get a video of him hunting fish. Scott is a wonderful host with him being very welcoming and helpful throughout the entire stay. This is a property you do not want to leave, could not recommend more.

My family and I stayed this past weekend with our two dogs and the entire stay was a dream. Everything was better than we expected and we cannot wait to come back again 🙂

We were pleasantly surprised by this stay! It had everything we needed, was quiet and private but not too secluded. We enjoyed being able to take our dogs and they loved the outdoor fenced in area! The hosts have thought of everything and were proactive with their communication. We would love to come back!

This cabin is beautiful. Cozy and new. great location near the lake and clarksville. We came down to visit some friends and go floating and 4 wheeler riding with our kids. The location is very private and secluded. We had a truck and trailer and the access was still very easy. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay near clarksville.
