Staying in this lovely village with Mama Emilienne was our best and most authentic Rwandan experience, truly local experiences with lovely people of the village. She's the heart of the village and we had a chance to participate in their annual celebration for kids and see their performance and talents. we've been offered great coffee, variety of locally grown fruits and veggies and tasty dishes cooked with local ingredients even rabbit from the village. the village and the villa are both stunning and peaceful, you'll have a bird symphony every morning... Thanks to Inosa, Marta and Cynthia as well for taking good care of us.

The stay at Emilienne was wonderful. All people and the whole family are very friendly. As a traveler, you should know that Emilienne's property can also be found on maps as "Maison Emilienne" - this is the correct address. The room was super clean, the bathroom was ok and the food was phenomenal. There were always 3 meals, all of which were very local, partly from their own garden, and tasted great. I can only encourage everyone to visit Emilienne and her family!

We had such a great time here! The view is spectacular, the food is wonderful, and the tent is so, so cosy! The staff are also very helpful - they worked with us to arrange both a boat trip, and a lovely hike through the surrounding hills and villages.

We love this rustic cottage and having access to the private beach! Plus there are a few great beachside bar / restaurants within walking distance. The property staff are very friendly and helpful; they even started a fire for us on a cold night. Only tip for other guests is to bring cooking supplies (oil, salt, coffee, etc.) and toilet paper as well as bath towels, since these weren’t supplied and shops aren’t close by. 10/10 recommend. Already looking forward to the next chance to visit!

Great stay. The property has restaurant facilities, offered great value for the price, and the host gave me a warm and friendly welcome. The room is cozy and exactly as described. Located in a walking distance from the city center with a beautiful view from the bar deck. The host helped with renting a motorbike. Everything went smooth. Would stay there again!

A simple "coastal retreat", Serguei's property is very nice with a private beach - a great place to escape to. Serguei was wonderful and attentive to our needs during our stay. We'll be back to escape again.
