  • Was really pleased with the cabin and the location! The cabin was full of fairy lights and Christmas decorations which made our experience even more pleasant. We had a puppy with us and it was no trouble at all as there are plenty of animals around Geri's place. Such a retreat that we really needed! All the beaches are just a short drive away. Highly recommend and I am sure we will be back another time . Thank you

    Dot2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful cabin in a secluded location! Geri offered many suggestions about beaches and places to go, as well as in advance of our stay recommending lovely pubs etc to book. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I particularly liked the fact that there was very little light pollution around so you could enjoy the stars. The area has plenty of things to do and see and we really enjoyed exploring it. The hot tub was fantastic- All in all a fantastic weekend- thank you Geri!

Best places to eat ect. It was lovley and private. The hot tub was lovley in the evenings while it rained and was chilly. And the little touches she added for our anniversary was lovley. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning. Thankyou.

Part of a beautiful old stone mill transformed into a 1 bed luxury holiday cottage, nestled in 13 acres of pasture & woods, only 3 miles from the fishing village and stunning beaches of Aberporth and 5 minute drive from the historic town of Cardigan.
Cryngae Mawr Farm was founded in the 1820s to make use of the natural spring to power a mill and dairy. Its sits in a sheltered spot with stunning views across the countryside and lots of nooks and crannys to explore. The Coach House itself is a traditional stone building with walls over 2ft which was originally used to store the farm coaches and run the mill workings. It has recently been converted to a high standard providing a mezzanine bedroom, ensuite luxury bathroom with power rain shower and a large open plan kitchen and lounge with large double sofa bed. The Coach House has a private garden to front but also has a sunny open garden area to the rear leading to the woods and streams beyond.
The Cardigan Bay area was voted by lonely planet as best place to be in the world right now, its absolutely stunning with cliff walks, sandy bays, pristine national trust beaches and small fishing villages with local pubs and restaurants. Cardigan town is a short drive away and has an abundance of local shops, artisan bakers, pizza makers and award winning restaurants. The area is famed for outdoor pursuits such as coasteering, surfing, sea kayaking, sailing, mountain biking and walking; its known as the best location in the UK to spot dolphins, puffins and rare wildlife.
  • The Coach House is the perfect place to stay when exploring this part of Wales. When we arrived the cottage was warm and cozy, and Shaun had left Welsh cakes and drinks which got us off to to good start. The cottage is impeccably kept, and  located in beautiful countryside. Close to many beautiful beaches - we particularly enjoyed Popitt Sands, Porthgain and Aberport and .Supermarkets, cafes and restaurants can all be found in nearby Cardigan. For breakfast we loved Crwst in Cardigan, and delicious fresh ice cream from Pointz Castle near Solva. We had a great time, highly recommended. We'll be back. Thanks!

  • A lovely cottage in a great location, a short drive from the beautiful beach in Aberporth. Shaun was very hospitable and the property had everything we needed. It was also excellent value for money.

    Charlotte2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • A rustic farm arrival to be surprised by a modern converted coach house with all modern cons. Warm, cosy, very comfortable bed and pillows and lovely hot shower. Everything one could want for a wonderful stay. Finding the place can be a little worrying, but after following Shaun's directions we found the place easily. Had a small hassle getting onto wifi, but once logged in it worked perfectly. Highly recommended.

  • The Stables were a perfect choice for the 3 of us and our little dog. The location is breathtaking. The farm is just a peaceful, lovely and astounding place to be. The cottage was sprawling and big. We loved the vibe of it and never wanted to leave and left with wonderful memories we shall cherish forever. The kitchen was awesome and had everything you needed to cook your own meals if you got your grocery. Loved the personal welcome touches that was left for us!!! Its truly been one of the most extraordinary places we have lived in. The weather was crazy this time of the year but we just loved being indoors more and enjoying ourselves and had a great time going outdoors as we could. Its just a few mins away from the beach and some wonderful places around the coast lines. We are surely looking forward to our visits in the warmer months and be there again. Thanks to lovely Shaun who was around and gave us wonderful tips and infos. Our little fur baby loved it so much as well! We do highly suggest this place for a proper Welsh farm cottage living experience that you dont wanna miss !!!

  • The Dairy was a fabulous stay. Perfect location for exploring the gorgeous Welsh coastline. The cottage was sparkling clean and super warm with all the bits and pieces you need for a self catering stay. The beds were comfy and bathrooms clean with plenty of hot water. The instructions for arrival and the cottage were perfect everything you need to know and all very clear. Definitely do not listen to the sat nav and do follow Shaun’s instructions. There was milk in the fridge and tea and coffee ready to go, perfect after a long drive. Shaun was the perfect host. On hand in an instant to answer any questions but given us plenty of privacy and the cottage space to ourselves. We would most certainly come back here and use as a base to explore the rest of South Wales and the coast.

Cabin Ishbel is our beautiful wooden chalet in West Wales, which sleeps six people. It is the perfect place to spend a long weekend or a family holiday, nestled in the peaceful Welsh countryside.
Cabin Ishbel is our beautiful wooden chalet in West Wales, which sleeps six people. It is the perfect place to spend a long weekend or a family holiday, nestled in the peaceful Welsh countryside. A mile from the village of Cenarth in Carmarthenshire, Cabin Ishbel is a cosy peaceful place to spend a long weekend or have a family holiday. It has three bedrooms - a double, a twin, and a bunk room - so can comfortable sleep 6 people. There's even room for another two in the lounge, if you really need it! Cabin Ishbel is our home-away-from-home, we stay there ourselves several times a year; we even held our wedding party there! The cabin is one of our favourite places to be and we'd love to have you come and visit. LOCATION Cabin Ishbel nestles in the trees on the edge of Penlan Holiday Village, a small family-run holiday park of Scandinavian-style lodges in a beautiful woodland setting just outside the village of Cenarth. The park has a small shop, a bar, an outdoor pool (in summer), a playground, and a dog walk meadow. The cabin is in the heart of rural West Wales at its finest. It's a great launch pad for country walks, and the Pembrokeshire National Park is just 10 miles away. The river Teifi runs through the village, with opportunities to kayak and fish. The nearest beach is 10 miles away, with all the gorgeous secluded beaches of the Ceredigion and Pembs coast lines to choose from. You're in a rural location, so public transport is limited - the cabin is best reached by car. However, there is an hourly bus service, Mon-Sat only, which will take you between Cenarth and Cardigan, or Cenarth and Carmarthen (the nearest mainline train station). FACILITIES The cabin has a well-equipped fitted kitchen, heaters in each room and an electric shower. From the kitchen and deck you can look over the Preseli hills while you have dinner, or a BBQ. The lounge is super cosy, with a stove to help keep the evening chills away. The cabin is very much a self-service experience - sadly, we will most likely not meet! We will send you a key code, and you can just let yourself in. Our cleaner will have made the beds up for you in advance - just let us know how many people are coming, and which beds you'd like to use. We will also provide one towel per person. You'll find the kitchen cupboard stocked with tea, coffee, condiments, and some basics such as oil, rice and pasta. But don't forget to visit the shops to stock up on the way. We choose not to have a tuned-in television, as the cabin is a place to unwind and disconnect from the world. But we have tonnes of DVDs and a good selection of board games! There is no Wifi and mobile phone signal is extremely limited - enjoy the digital detox! If you do need to check in with the outside world, wifi is available in the Penlan Bar or at the nearest pubs around 1 mile away. Electricity is, unfortunately, on a credit meter. We’ll put the first £5 on, but after that meter cards can be bought from the park office or bar. The cabin can get quite chilly even in summer; after all, it is a simple wooden building in a forest. The heating is good and lots of blankets are provided, but do bring warm clothes and pyjamas! Well-behaved dogs with considerate owners are most welcome. We allow one larger dog or two small dogs. Dogs aren’t allowed on the sofas or beds, so you need to bring your own dog bed. Dogs have to kept on leads around the holiday park. ** A note to our lovely previous guests - we used to invite guests to bring their own bed linen, but AirBnB have now made it a requirement that we provide this for all bookings. So Bed Linen and Towels are now included - just be sure to specify how many people are coming to stay. **

The nearest beach is 10 miles away, with all the gorgeous secluded beaches of the Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire coast lines to choose from.
  • Amazing cabin with lovely surroundings. The cabin is fully equipped with all you need especially to entertain the children, the best thing is there is no WiFi or phone signal so it is perfect for quality family time.

  • The cabin was as described. It is in a wonderful location. Quite private. Lovely view out the back. Ĺocally the falls are beautiful and only a 3 minute drive away. Be careful not to fall in though like me 😮. Hosts were great. Communication spot on. Will be booking again for next year!

  • It was a pleasure to stay in the Sam& Freya's little house .It was very easy and quick to communicate with Freaya and Sam . They're house is in a beautiful location , idyllic place for holiday. The house is super cosy and surpisingly spacious.Great living room in addition to nice bedrooms ! It was starting to be chilly outside but thanks to the heaters it was warm inside . Bedrooms are comfy, there is a well equipped kitchen , comfy bathroom .There is also little terrace in the front and the back of the house with a beautiful view of the field..There are many little extras too , like a lot of books, vinyl record player , hot water bottles a rocking chair ...And not in the house but on the site where house is located there is also swimming pool and a sauna for public use! We didn't have time to use it but it looked great.Overall really comfortable lovely little house in a beautiful place .Hope one day we will be back . Very much recommend!

  • Very peaceful place, lots of fun things to do, lots of personal touches. It was a bit chilly even with it being so hot at the moment, I wish I'd packed my slippers and dressing gown! Very comfortable though.

  • A great quiet relaxing spot. Had a lovely time with our 4 kids. Cabin is spacious and comfortable. Excellent communication with hosts. Huge selection of DVD’s for all ages & record player a great hit too. Recommended beaches are lovely and not too far a drive away. We especially liked Penbryn & Mwnt. Kids got great use of heated outdoor pool in the evenings. Pizzatipi in Cardigan/Aberteifi is well worth the visit - so good we went back a second time.

Cenarth Village is a stunning place situated inWest Wales famous for leaping salmon, Cenarth Falls, and has many stunning walks and beautiful places nearby. Our static is modern, well equipped.
  • This holiday home is in a lovely scenic village and is located above the falls. Although trees block the view of the falls, you can hear the water running over the rocks and it’s a very peaceful place to stay. The Pub serves excellent food and it’s a good idea to book a table as it’s a very popular place to eat. The holiday home was comfortable and clean and the bedding was good quality and nice to sleep in. Shaun supplies essentials like loo rolls, towels, tea towels etc and there’s central heating if you need it so everything is taken care of. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place.

  • This place is very nice, the caravan is nice and tidy and in a very quiet location, nothinarg to hear but the birds in the trees and the sound of the waterfall behind. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday

  • Shaun was an extremely welcoming host and accommodated a later check out which we appreciated. The accommodation was very clean and ideally located for us. Would recommend for a stay.

    Tracey2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Shaun’s caravan is in a perfect position to enjoy all that Cenarth has to offer, the falls, where if lucky you will see the trout and salmon jumping upstream, tea rooms, cafes and pubs, a couple of shops and some beautiful walks. Not far from the coastal beaches too approx 20 mins. Shaun is a great host and we look forward to returning in the future.

The van by the river is a cosy retreat ideal for one or two adults and a great base to explore the beautiful countryside and beaches nearby - or you can just watch the wildlife in comfort. Herons, egrets, buzzards and kites are regular visitors and you might catch a glimpse of the shyer residents; the kingfishers, otters, owls and badgers. The van is a 70's model which has been fully refurbished and now has electric heating and hot water as well as a wood burner.
On the edge of the river Teifi, 200 metres from Cenarth Water Falls. You can launch your canoe and paddle downriver all the way to the beach at Poppit sands. A full breakfast is available in the house if you don't want to cook your own.
Cenarth is a small and friendly village located on the borders of Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire: it's surrounded by beautiful countryside and spectacular beaches as well as too many other attractions to choose from.
  • I had wonderful stay in the cosy little caravan, beautiful inside and out..I was very sad to leave! It was great to meet Ellen, and she couldn't have done more to be a welcoming host. Hopefully I will find my way back to the area at some point, and if I do, I will be sure to stay here again.

    Karen2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended. Warm, cosy, clean and everything you could need. Ellen was super helpful and both were excellent hosts. Had a lovely weekend away, will definitely stop off again!

  • A beautiful stay in a lovely little village right on the river. This place is private and cosy and it was lovely to come back to after a day of exploring. The hosts were lovely and very thoughtful and were great to communicate with. Absolutely recommend.

  • Right on the river, the van has amazing views to wake up to. It's private, peaceful and relaxing. The van itself is very spacious and has everything you could need for self catering. Good heating in every room. Really comfy, cosy bed. Ellen is friendly and welcoming and there was coffee and nice teas and chocolates in the van. I wanted to never leave!

  • A fantastic place and a hidden gem. Located overlooking the river Teifi in peaceful setting. Only a short walk to the shop, pubs and bus stop. Would love to come again!

  • We loved our stay at Ellen's caravan. Ellen and her partner are so friendly and it can be safely said that they have two of the cutest dogs in the world. The caravan is really warm and cosy and has everything you need. We can't wait to come back and explore more of the area when we next get chance.

Playing field with children’s play area and picnic areas (shared with other properties on site). Outdoor heated swimming pool and sauna (shared with other properties on site, open mid May-mid Sep). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: Sorry, no hen or stag parties.. This cedar wood lodge is located within the small, family run holiday park of Penlan, where privately owned Scandinavian-style lodges are nestled in a wooded parkland setting. Humorously named Llareggub after the fictional village in Dylan Thomas’s drama ’Under Milk Wood’, the lodge is a great bolt-hole for exploring the area. The owner has a great interest in literature of all kinds, and there is a large variety of interesting books in the lodge as well as extras to make your holiday a comfortable one, such as outdoor games for children, a barbecue and details of all the things you can do in the area, including exploring the 325 acres of Ffynone and Cilgwyn woodlands nearby. The park is surrounded by oak and beech trees, and is a haven for wildlife as well as providing a range of facilities especially suitable for families. There is an outdoor heated swimming pool, children’s playground, large playing field and picnic area, and a games room with pool tables and darts. Wi-Fi can also be accessed on-site. In season, the park runs regular themed entertainment nights and there is a bar and restaurant available on these nights too. A little shop (limited opening hours) supplies the basics, but you are only a mile from the lovely village of Cenarth, where you will find pubs, cafés and a shop too. A little further on is the attractive market town of Newcastle Emlyn, which has an array of shops, cafés and a supermarket. The village of Cenarth is famous for its falls, where the River Teifi spills dramatically over the rocks and boulders. This is a fantastic place for fishing for salmon and trout, and if you are around in the autumn, you may catch the spectacular sight of the salmon leaping up the falls as they return to spawn upstream. The village has a lovely riverside walk and a fascinating museum in a 17th-century flour mill, showcasing its rich history of coracle making - the ancient fishing boat made from a basket frame covered in tar coated canvas. Cenarth is also the home of the renowned Caws Cenarth cheese, and you can watch it being made on the organic farm on the outskirts of the village; so do make sure you sample some! You are ideally located here, having easy access to the three counties of Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. The beautiful countryside is matched by the beauty of the coast, and you are less than 10 miles from the west Wales coastline and scenic Cardigan Bay. Here, there are beach walks to be had, dolphins to be spotted, and coastal towns and villages to be explored. Make sure you visit Cardigan town itself, a thriving market town 10 minutes away on the banks of the estuary. Stroll around the narrow streets, and visit the ancient castle ruins and exhibitions. There is a restaurant on a boat and one serving wood-fired pizzas in season. The well-known Pembrokeshire family attractions of Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo (with the only giraffes in Wales) are easily accessible for a family day out, as is the smallest city in Britain, St David’s, with its magnificent cathedral and Bishops Palace. If you just want to stay closer to home and enjoy the peace and tranquillity it’s all here for you, whether you like golf, walking, fishing or just relaxing. Come and see for yourself! Beach 9 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

  • We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Elin’s in Abercych over Christmas. The house is beautiful, spacious yet cosy and spotlessly clean. the hot tub and games room provided hours of fun, while the surrounding area made for scenic runs, relaxing walks to the Nag’s Head (one of Pembrokeshire’s finest pubs) and day trips to the beach (highly recommend no matter what time of year). We were a group of adults staying for a week and weren’t bored once, if anything it was hard to leave. Elin was a fabulous host who was super accommodating and there if we needed anything even during the Christmas period but otherwise left us to our own devices. Couldn’t have asked for a better host, house and holiday.

  • Beautiful, homely house. Spotlessly clean. Everything you could need/want for a lush get away. Great communication with the host, very prompt and helpful. Would definitely recommend and hopefully with return in the future.

  • We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful house. It was just perfect for what we needed as a group of old school friends. We made use of all the rooms and enjoyed everything about it. We also loved the local cat who came to visit us everyday! We also enjoyed the walk to The Nags Head pub, the food was so great we ventured out two days in a row to enjoy it! Again, couldn’t have picked a better place and we’d definitely return if we were in that area again. Thank you so much.

Beautiful views and plenty of countryside to explore during the day and cosy wood burner and star-gazing in the evenings. The location is very remote so the use of a car is strongly advised. In Boncath, a 5 minute car drive there is a local shop selling baked bread, free-range eggs, cakes, butcher shop Welsh bacon and a nice wine selection. Local(ish) pub is called the Nags head, it's in Abercych and is very atmospheric. Enjoy good food here too. We like to cycle there in the summer months! Cardigan The nearest town is full of trendy cafes and quirky shops. Bara Meyn is famous for it's sourdough bread (it sells out quickly!) and is perfect for breakfast and lunch (open Tuesday - Saturday 9-4). Every Saturday morning (8.30-12.30) there is a farmers market at the guildhall. Lots of delicious local produce. Fforest Pizza tipi is perfect spot in the evening for drink and some of the best wood fired pizza in the World (apparently!) - some nights host live music. Wildlife centre, located in Cilgeran. Nice cafe in a large glasshouse and plenty of walks. We enjoy walking into Cardigan from here. St Dogmaels, popular local produce market every Tuesday morning at the abbey. The Ferry inn has a splendid beer garden by the estuary and does nice food. Newport, about 25 minutes. An attractive, bustling costal town with plenty of food and drink options. Quirky market town of Narbeth is a foodies delight about 30 minutes away with many independent boutiques and wonderful cafes. St Davids, an hour drive but worth it as a day trip for costal walks, the Cathedral, blue lagoon and the bug farm/restaurant. Bosherston lily ponds is beautiful all year round. Bit of a drive but worth it!
  • Warm cosy cottage that is bigger than it seems in the photos. Log burner, hot tub and a comfy bed make for a very relaxing stay. The place has everything you need, including friendly cats! A definite recommendation.

  • Can’t recommend Natasha and John’s romantic getaway enough! The cottage was immaculately clean and had everything we could need for the stay. The hot tub was the perfect touch with jets and lights to set the mood! And the log fire was very welcome on the cold windy evenings. The recommendations were much appreciated for places to eat and beaches to visit. We particularly loved the nags head for some of the best food we’ve ever had for dinner and Traeth Mwnt beach for a coastal walk with amazing views. The milk, eggs and waffles left for us on arrival was a lovely gesture. We would definitely visit again!

    Natasha2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful cottage in the picturesque Welsh countryside. Natasha and John were very helpful before and during our stay. The only downside was that we had to leave!

    Jessica2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Hen Stabl was stunning. The photos are gorgeous but it’s even better in person. It’s spotlessly clean and wonderfully cosy. The hot-tub was divine. It’s also very private - Natasha and John made themselves easily available but we were totally left to ourselves. Can’t recommend enough. We will be back!

    Carys2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • A very relaxing, chilled and quaint abode, that is so peaceful, all you can here is the birds with the occasional meow from the chilled out cats! We found it easy to get to, via the Sat Nav, though that does dip out on occasions, but comes back quickly! Cardigan, for supplies, wasn't far with an aldi's or Tesco's and various Cafe's and shops. "Hen Stabl" is definitely worth staying in. Thank you Natasha and John. All the best.

  • We are just back from our break in this beautiful home from home. The house has been renovated to an exceptional standard, and was absolutely spotlessly clean. We loved the lovely quirky lighting in the fireplace and bread oven! Very atmospheric. Heather provided us with a welcome pack of basics including bread, milk, butter and some welsh cakes, which were delicious. There was even fresh flowers there too. All rooms are spacious and the bathroom was wonderful. We were able to bath all 4 under 4s in there at once! An exceptionally well thought out family space with all mod cons (including a tv in all 3 bedrooms). We loved the location too. Cardigan is just 10 minutes down the road, with a lovely castle - we recommend the restaurant 1176 too. Fab Sunday lunch. Heather the host also made some great recommendations for local beaches. We loved Mwnt. We look forward to returning in the near future.

  • Our stay was as romantic and magical as we had hoped it to be. We absolutely loved the accommodation and the position it was in, honestly you couldn’t wish for more. Gwen met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome, she gave us some recommendations for places to eat and beaches to walk on. We loved the rustickness of the décor, the log fire was a real treat and to sink into the hot tub and hear the water from the river and watch the wildlife all around you was just breath-taking. A perfect place to relax and recoup, I would highly recommend a stay here and if you’re a wildlife fan then you couldn’t position yourself in any better place. We saw Otters in the morning bathing, a fox that liked to come and explore Infront of you, squirrels, Herons, buzzards and lots lots more. Thank you for a truly magical & memorable stay.

    Laura2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most wonderful stay here. We were looking for a weekend getaway with our dog, somewhere quiet and out of the way, but still somewhere close by to walking trails, beaches, and shops. This cottage checked every single box. The hot tub was so relaxing, the view was incredible, and it was surprisingly close to plenty of shops. We felt totally removed from the hustle and bustle, but we were only a quick drive from everywhere we needed to go. The cottage itself is well equipped to cook full meals, and was cosy by the TV for the evenings. The view of the river was amazing, and our dog loved exploring the yard. Nici was so quick to reply to any questions I had, the communication was really great. We will definitely be coming back :)

    Emma2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying here for a long weekend in September. The views are fantastic, you can sit outside and watch the tide come in and out with swans, geese, herons and ducks filling the shores. The Hot Tub is perfect for relaxing in and watching the stars, you don’t feel at all overlooked, you could be miles from anywhere. The animals on the farm, namely Chief the dog and Lucy and Dylan the Goats wander round and nap in the sun. We loved them and felt very honoured when they would wander down to our cottage for a visit. We met Gwen who was on hand to offer lots of local knowledge, she’s lovely and made us feel very welcome. There is a local dog friendly sandy beach about 5 mins drive from the house which was great for a sunny afternoon. We had a great weekend and would definitely go back.

  • This is truly a diamond in the Airbnb rough! Most places advertised oversell their space, this place is probably undersold. Absolutely gorgeous surroundings and a hot tub overlooking it all. A beautiful, peaceful place to stay, you honestly won't regret coming here.

  • Easy to find. Feels remote but is a short drive from anything you need. Good for a walkers holiday. Beautiful views. Lots of site seeing opertunies. The log burner was lovely and heated the place well. Was really nice to get away from the world to relax.

    Zoe2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place. Ruth and John were extremely helpful and informative. The cabin is rustic but very cosy which is its charm. The stove was awesome and the outdoor heated bath was blissful. Even Storm Dennis conditions we were unbothered and left thoroughly relaxed. Will be back!

  • Well that was a wonderful stay, one of the best places I've stayed ever! We stayed at the love shack for 4 nights last week and totally loved everything about the cabin and local area. The cabin is beautifully constructed and full of thoughtful touches and top quality amenities - the bed is super comfy! The eco-ness of it was really enlightening, and so good to be more aware of how we live. It was really magical to wake up with views over the fields and hills, get the wood fire started and enjoy our daily morning visit from Brian the cat. Everything you need is in the cabin, for cooking and chilling, and Ruth and John had some fab tips for local walks. Oh and the wood fired bath was brilliant! A hot bath, outside, in February, star and moon gazing, was an experience I'll never forget. Thank you Ruth and John for creating such a special space! I am 100% sure we'll be back! Xx

  • Ruth & John's place is the perfect getaway from the stresses of modern life. The cabin was beautifully designed, clean and cosy and very welcoming. The woodburner was great and heated the cabin really well; we were lovely and warm the whole time. There is a very cute, cheeky cat called Brian who visited us daily for cuddles and to sit by the fire. The Love Shack is a wonderful little place and Ruth & John were very good hosts. We hope to return to this magical, peaceful place. Thank you.

They are the most amazing people, and had left us cupcakes and a bottle of wine which was very much appreciated after the long journey. Alisa2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • A home from home - very much a room in Lynette's home, with her (small, elderly) dog and outside, some beautiful grey, fluffy chickens, and honey-bees. Lynette is a really kind, generous person. I stayed in the double room, which was very comfortable and pleasant. Honey for breakfast was delicious!

    Jane2019-12-01T00:00:00Z

    Lauren2018-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • We were one of the first sets of guests in this property and it is one of the cleanest, well decorated and complete places I’ve ever stayed at. The outdoor space was larger than expected, perfect for ball games. The hot tub was huge! Very cool! And the gas BBQ was a treat. The owners were so welcoming, easy to communicate with and a really helpful welcome. When we arrived they were there to meet us, showed us around and answered any questions. On the day we left they extended our checkout time by 2 hours without even having to ask. This property is new to AirBnB and as such doesn’t have too many reviews, but don’t let that put you off... this place is 5*, absolutely excellent. Thank you! 👏🏼👏🏼

    James2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • We booked to stay in the cabin for 5 days during half term... wanting nothing but some chill time, walking and some wine tasting.😂However we fell in love with the cabin and the local area. It is absolutely picturesque, and perfect for warm autumn walks, the children even managed to have a paddle in the brook. The cabin was beautiful, situated over looking forests and was very tranquil. Inside we had every thing, the pictures really don’t do it justice I felt it was much bigger. The children loved sleeping in the hide away room, and were very spoilt with the play station and games etc. We loved the wood burner and the choice of sky movies etc.... the welcome bits were so thoughtful and even though Tracey was near by, unless you needed her then you didn’t see any one. The donkeys need a mention.... my 6 yr old loved to see and feed them, and it just added to a lovely break away. We would definitely return a long weekend in the summer would be nice to try out that bbq and sit outside and just look at that beautiful view. Thank you for having us Jane Karl and the kids x

  • A very cosy, spotless and tranquil cottage set within lovely surroundings. Sarah provided many extra treats and some essential toiletries, which we’d forgotten! Despite awful weather conditions outside we were warm inside and enjoyed the log burner! This was an excellent choice for us & we will be back!

  • The cottage is amazing, absolutely spotlessly clean , comfortable, super cozy with the log burner in the evening. Sarah and Will are really lovely couple and are so helpful they have equipped the cottage with everything you could possibly need to make your stay the best ever, even down to special extra towels for your pet , the complimentary eggs from Sarah's chickens were delicious (the chickens are super cute) . We would recommend a stay here to everyone. We will definitely return for another stay, we would quite happily move in that's how amazing it is there so treat yourselves and book a stay , you will be glad that you did. All the best Stephen and Jerry

  • We had a wonderful stay at Sarah and Will place! They were excellent hosts; the cottage was spotlessly clean and we appreciated the extra touches. I would highly recommend staying at the cottage.

    Elle2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful stay, we couldn’t have asked for anything more.. everything that you could possibly want or need was already there! When we arrived at the cottage Sarah had left us an anniversary card, flowers and a bottle prosecco, what a lovely touch! There was even a tin of doggie biscuits for our dog. It was spotlessly clean and the fire was all ready, you just had to put a match to get it going. I also liked that the car was literally on the door steep, which made unloading/loading the car so easy! Both hosts were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. All our needs were met, sorry to leave such a lovely place... until we meet again. Marilyn, Les and Sam the shih tzu xx

Our homely wooden cabin is a new addition to our 4 acer smallholding, tucked down a quiet lane just a couple of minutes drive from Cardigan. Golygfa, meaning ‘nice view’ is a name of our home that is on top of a little hill overlooking the Teifi gorge. Stunning views towards the Preseli hills, just a stones throw from Poppit Sands and Mwnt beach.
Our cabin is a very compact space. All in one - kitchen with hot water, two ring portable gas cooker, little fridge, 2 beds 120cm wide - so either get cosy on one or have a king size single each (the 2nd bed is in mezzanine). Dinning table on veranda, flushable toilet, simple shower, veggie patch few steps away providing you with a home grown produce. Clutch of chickens will lay you a morning egg. Wifi does not reach to the cabin but you can get signal oh the veranda and in the garden. We hope that the outdoor space - lovely garden with orchard where squirrel is our daily guest, big field with deer seeking for a fresh grass, and a beautiful scenery where evenings can be spent watching the sun set over Cardigan and the hills beyond will make up for the small indoor space. We feel that our village of Llangoedmor is ideally located for quick and easy access to our local market town of Cardigan and all the beaches of South Ceredigion and North Pembrokeshire, including Aberporth, Mwnt and Poppit Sands. Day trips to New Quay, St. Davids and Tenby are all within an hours drive. The area locally is ideal for outdoor sports and activities such as coasteering, river and sea kayaking, climbing, nature trails and the Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire coastal paths.
Rural, quite and relaxing. Cardigan is one of the top 10 places to bring up a family in the UK! Cilgerran Wildlife Park is awesome, Mwnt beach is stunning, Cardigan town is alive and colourful, best bog standard grub is the Nags Head in Abercych, 10 minutes drive. Best pubs and general good food in Newport, 20 minutes drive. Pizza Tipi is very cool, Cardigan, next to the river.
  • Fabulously cosy cabin in an equally fabulous location will definitely return.. Mark and Katerina were great hosts and everything was as stated in their ad.. Book it you won't be dissapointed.. Andrea and Oliver

  • Very lovely little cabin in a beautiful area, with lovely grounds and fantastic hosts. We had a very nice stay.

    Aaron2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I had a lovely stay here. Mark and Katerina made us feel so welcome, and their little cabin was warm and cosy, with everything we needed. They really went out of their way to make us feel at home. As for the area, it was really beautiful, with a nature reserve just 10 minutes walk down the lane, which meant we could explore locally on a day when we didn't feel like getting on a bus. We don't have a car, so got to the cabin by train, then a bus which went from Carmarthen to the cabin. This bus also carries on past here into Cardigan town centre, where there's loads to see and do, or you can change to other buses to explore the amazing stretch of coastline nearby. We walked a stretch of this coastline, between Ceibwr Bay and St Dogmaels, which we would highly recommend!

    Amanda2019-09-27T00:00:00Z

  • Fantastic place! Every little detail was perfect. Lovely cottage, clean, location is amazing. Amanda is spot on with all the information and quick responses. We were arriving late so the heating and lights were on and we were left with a card, bottle of win, biscuits and milk! If you want to get away and relax I couldn’t recommend Betty’s cottage more

  • A beautiful cottage set in an outstandingly pretty valley that has everything you need for a quiet weekend away from it all. The cottage has all the mod cons yet is still rustic and cosy. Everything is spotlessly clean and tidy but it's the small personal finishes that really stand out and make the stay extra special.

    Daniel2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cosy, peaceful space. This is our second visit and, with luck, we shall be back again . . . and again after that! Betty's is a special place, cosy and warm and very comfortable, and a great base from which to explore a lovely corner of the world. Thank you.

    Ian2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • The fact that we have, in the last 12 months, twice travelled from Yorkshire to stay at Betty's Cottage, should speak volumes. During our recent stay, we experienced 2 month's rainfall in two days. I can confirm that there is no better or cosier place to hole up in a storm! We'll be back again next year.

    Stephen2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Betty's cottage! The cottage was very welcoming and had everything we needed. The garden was also perfect for the dog. We would not hesitate in returning again in the future.

They showed early dither beautiful annex and also helped me plug my electric car into the outside socket—areal plus being able to charge my car up whilst on vacation. The annex is stunning and full of thoughtful touches. The wood burner was set and ready to go, dressing gown, slippers etc laid out and breakfast of bread, milk, tea and coffee, juice and cereal all provided. • Very cool spot with wicked views and a super eco feel, we were there in the depths of November (last people of the season, only fools dumb enough to brave the cold) - but we were greeted with plenty extra blankets and hot water bottles we could refill in our private kitchen. The goats Dylan and Lucy were a welcome bonus, and the views were lovely even in the rain. Will definitely be interested in coming back in the summer to have breakfast on the private decking looking out over the river : ) thanks!!!

  • You know when you have been somewhere and loved it so much you go back ... and then it turns out not to be the way you imagined it ... this is NOT that story! This is the second year we have been to stay at Nici's' Dome with a View - this time we took extended family so also had the added apprehension of having recommended it - but all of us are making plans for next year. It is an absolute piece of heaven... a haven ... a slice of paradise. And they really could not have done more for us. The facilities are amazing, the farm lovely, the river glorious, the roaming goats (Dylan and Lucy) hysterical (and greedy), local activities (whale watching, mackerel fishing, kayaking, coast-steering) incredible, hardwork, adrenaline creating and tiring .. oh and did I mention the awesomely comfortable double bed in the Dome with most stunning views. Thank you for another epic, memory creating time...

  • This was a last minute weekend away with my dog Jasper. We both absolutely loved our stay in Cwm Morgan. The cottage is stunning, clean, warm, cosy and just generally lovely. A lovely welcome gift and dog supplies made us feel right at home. Beautiful kitchen and living room with a lovely log burner, lovely bedrooms and bathroom. Very nice conservatory area and garden though it wasn’t really the weather until our leaving day today to sit outside. Great location and a lovely cottage guide book gives you tips for the area. Really was a fantastic stay, made us both very happy. Thank you very much, look forward to staying again in the future.

  • We’ve just arrived home from a really relaxing stay at Amanda’s cottage. It’s the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle and recharge the batteries! The cottage is lovely and cosy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The weather was wet and windy so we spent a lot of our time at the cottage reading, playing games and watching DVDs but also got out and about and enjoyed the coast at Newquay and Poppit Sands and would also recommend the National Wool Museum nearby. We would definitely recommend Amanda’s cottage looking for a rural get away.

    Helen2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Another wonderful stay! We enjoyed this cottage so much, and the fabulous, peaceful location in a beautiful little river valley. The garden and views are stunning, even in the middle of winter. Our dogs loved the garden too and the huge master bedroom to stretch out. The space was clean and cosy and we had everything we needed. Also great location for accessing the characterful town of Newcastle Emlyn and our favourite Welsh beaches, Llangranog and Aberporth. We loved hearing the rushing river and birdsong while outside.

    Jennifer2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location, very nice way to shut off from the world to recharge. The wood burning stove is so nice on cold nights. The walks are hilly but the views are worth it. I came here with my wife and three children (7, 3 and 1) they all loved it.

  • Lovely atmospheric cottage in a great location

  • We had the best time at this beautiful cottage! Amanda was a great host and left lovely little welcome gifts for us on arrival. The house was spotlessly clean and super cosy! Absolutely loved it here and we can’t wait to return again in the future! Whoever stays here will have the most peaceful time. No phone signal, which for us was perfect to disconnect from the world for a little bit and spend time as a family! Even the dog was able to come along. Thank you so much for a great few days of peace in your beautiful cottage ❤️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🐶

    Kyle2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • An excellent stay in a beautiful location, Amanda and Ian were the perfect hosts, helpful without being intrusive. The cottage itself is wonderful, idyllic and has everything you need to have a perfect stay. What an amazing place to spend Christmas with our dogs! As advertised there is no mobile phone signal and no WiFi which was just fine for us, we enjoyed being disconnected (and the drive out every day to walk the dogs and get our Social Media fix!) Overall a brilliant little cottage in a fantastic valley cut off from the world - if you want peace and tranquillity you should book this place right now!

Had a great walk round the nature reserve. Kids enjoyed all of the space. Loved making friends with the resident dog. Such a peaceful location.

A cosy space with hand crafted rustic wooden beamed ceiling and log burning stove, situated in the quiet countryside but very near the coast. Aberporth beach is approx 15 minutes drive. The land here is pesticide and herbicide free and we therefore have an abundance of wild flowers growing in the hedgerow. Red kites and barn owls are often seen and tawny owls nest in the woodland. The night sky is amazing and you are welcome to build a fire outside to sit and gaze at the stars.
The Stone Barn has a cosy living room with a log burning stove, a bathroom with shower over bath, a double bedroom with wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Up a small wooden staircase is a small sleeping with limited headroom. Suitable for small children who might like to share a comfy futon bed. Downstairs there is a small very compact but practical kitchen which contains a cooker, hob, microwave and washing machine.
We are in the countryside but very near to the main Aberystwyth to Cardigan coast road from which the stunning coastline is easily accessible. Our nearest beach is Aberporth,
  • Perfect, little place in the Welsh countryside. Great location to feel away from it all but close enough to towns and the coast.

    Edward2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great little cosy barn in a rural location yet close to local attractions.

    Nick2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Quaint property in quiet rural surroundings. Lots of hens, geese etc around the place. Accommodation had all that was needed. Xochi and Kelvin are excellent hosts.

  • We had a great time in the barn, it was really cosy and we loved the massive burner! The selection of pillows was especially appreciated, as I suffer from a bad neck, but this was avoided due to good quality pillows :) Thank you for a great relaxing stay :) Both hosts were really friendly and helpful :)

  • This was a fantastic little find and made our few days away absolutely perfect. The cottage is amazingly located between several different locations and isn't far from a local shop. The cottage itself was well kitted and very cosy. Perfect base for daily trips out. Great host and very welcoming all round. Especially the owners pets who made it very memorable. The Coach House is a Grade II Listed building lovingly restored to provide a unique holiday atmosphere with access from the open plan living space to an enclosed garden, hot tub, architectural ceilings, an impressive master bedroom (super-King) with ensuite. The farm sits on the banks of the magical river Teifi directly opposite the Wildlife Park, with Cardigan and the beaches 1.5 miles away. Accommodates families, couples, bigger groups (other cottages available) solo adventurers and pets.
Historic, its the original Coach House (carriage and horses) to the main house here at the Farm. To maximise the original features its an upside down house i.e. the bedrooms are downstairs. Extremely light, attractive, open plan living space in an old historic building with direct access from the kitchen out to the bbq and garden area
  • Awesome location, great amenities! Really cosy and tidy place!

    Ashley2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We (myself and two friends) enjoyed a lovely stay here! The hosts had very quick responses to any questions whilst we were there, also they've left a great information book giving you some ideas of what to do! A lovely surrounding area with loads to do! We especially enjoyed the Cardigan animal farm (15 minute drive) and a round walk across the river and into cardigan and back (3.5hr ish walk)!

    Ania2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very enjoyable stay at the coach house. The property is exactly as described, and was exactly what we were looking for. Zero communication from the host and 3 messages not replied to was not great, but I would certainly return and recommend it to other people.

    Tom2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Super hot tub, quiet relaxing place close to Cardigan and lovely beaches. Our children loved the goats and the buzzard that seemed to be nesting there.

    Anna2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • GORGEOUS place and location. My husband and his boys loved the opportunity to kayak down the river all the way down to Poppit Sands. What a wonderful base for adventures on the Welsh coast. We were so lucky with the weather, visited Mwnt Bay on the hottest day of the year and took the kids to the gorgeous Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park. Hot tub was an extra treat, we felt spoiled in such a beautiful place with such a wonderful vibe. Thank you!!

    Adriana & Dominic2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I spent a great week in the Coach House. We were welcomed upon arrival by the host Nici and given a quick demo of how to use the hot tub and a request to adhere to the recycling scheme they have in place. That apart from an occasional cheery greeting was all the contact we had, just as it should be. We spent our days exploring the wonderful coastline in the area and further south in Pembrokeshire, returning every evening for a relaxing soak in the hot tub. The cottage is relatively well equipped, the only negative being the non functioning washing machine. The en-suite to the master bedroom has a spacious shower with plenty of hot water.

    Michael2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely location on a farm away from everything. Yet, only five minutes away from town. Our stay was very relaxing and sat out in the hot tub under the stars was fabulous. Great place to get away from busy life and slow down.

    Ross2019-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • A great place and space to relax and explore West Wales! Great rural location in close distance to Cardigan (Tesco and Aldi were just a 10 minute drive away) We stayed here for 4 days with our 2 year old son and it was perfect for him to run in and around the enclosed garden and Coach House (there is a gate blocking off the stairs, although he did work out the catch fairly quickly! A high chair was also provided) Gwen, Nici's daughter, was a fantastic host, so friendly and accommodating. We recommend a visit to 'Crwst' in Cardigan for breakfast/brunch as the food was amazing! And Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park to see the local wild seals.
