  • Sandy and Lucy were wonderful hosts! Super friendly and generous. We loved hearing about the history of the area from Sandy. It's a cozy apartment that feels like visiting a loved relative's home.

    Jenna2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying at Sandy's place. It was the perfect location for our Mass MoCA weekend.

    Sarah2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful older home with amazing views of Mt. Greylock. Sparkling clean and well appointed with the essentials. Sandy is an absolute gem!

    Michelle2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Sandy welcomed us as if we were old friends. He was a warm and nice host and we had a great time there!

    Nathanaël2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great location to stay overnight after a day of boarding at Jiminy Peak! Sandy met us when we arrived and showed us around the place. He even turned the heat up before we got there to get the place nice and cozy for us! If you’re a light sleeper, I wouldn’t recommend taking the bedroom next to the bathroom. The radiator hisses (like they do) and my friend woke up a few times because of it. My husband and I took the green and purple room and we slept great! I didn’t notice any noise. The beds were comfy. We’d stay again in the future.

  • Older home, but very clean. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Excellent value.

    Adam2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Sandy has maintained this house well. The touches and nature of the building are definitely well thought of. We had fun relaxing in the house post our ski trip to Jiminey Peak and found everything we possibly needed to be self sufficient. Excellent local diners nearby, and the kitchen is fully stocked with what we needed to make some late night dinner. The TV has access to netflix / cable so we even managed to catch the sunday night football game together. Overall it was an outstanding stay.

    Rasheeq2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • The Victorian store duplex is cute as a button and Sandy is a wonderful host: quick to respond, making check-in and check-out easy and kind and gracious. We spent the holidays here and were able to cook, watch movies on the Roku provided, all have our space to stay comfortably, and have a very New England Christmas with our family. Thank you, Sandy, for making our holiday brighter!

Newly purchased...ready for guests! The perfect alternative to a hotel room, this is a completely renovated studio apartment in N. Adam's historic flat iron building. You are a short walk from Mass MOCA, shops, restaurants, movie theater, grocery store and many other local attractions. High ceilings and double windows make this 250 sq. foot studio light and pleasant, and a murphy bed makes great use of the space. Sleeps 2 people comfortably (full size bed). There is a small pull out sofa.
The space is compact at 250 square feet, but it has everything you need for a weekend, week (or longer!) exploring North Adams. There is a 3/4 bathroom with a tiled shower. Compact, fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to make breakfast (including coffee maker, toaster and microwave) or a light meal. Full size murphy bed. Drawers and space to hang your clothes all built into the murphy bed. Small old school television with a fun DVD collection (and a Red Box a two minute walk away). WiFi, so guests are welcome to bring their laptops to stream your favorite TV etc.
We love North Adams and the flat iron building couldn't be more centrally located to explore all the town has to offer!
  • Katie and Jose's place was perfect for our trip. Everything we wanted to do in the town was walking distance away! The studio was beautiful and cozy.

  • Katie & José's North Adam's space was delightful! The apartment was beautifully decorated and felt spacious and inviting. It was the perfect choice for my friends and I for our weekend getaway. The location was very convenient- we could walk to both restaurants to eat out at and the grocery store to pick up food to eat in.

  • This Airbnb is amazing! If you’re looking to visit Mass MoCA/Williamstown, book this spot now!! It’s a charming, cozy, sun-lit apartment in the “Flatiron” building right in the center of downtown North Adams. You can see Mass MoCA (and the beautiful Berkshire mountains!) from the apartment’s giant windows. Katie and José have a seamless check-in process. In addition, they provided a thoughtful guide to delicious restaurants and fun activities in the area, which we relied upon greatly. If I’m ever at Mass MoCA in the future, I would be thrilled to stay here again. Cannot recommend enough!

In the heart of downtown Adams, MA, an adorable guest suite suitable for 1 or a couple. There is also a futon to accommodate children, if desired. Just off the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail (open seasonally) and located within steps of a great bike rental shop (also open seasonally)! Within 10 minutes of MassMOCA in North Adams, MA, and 20 minutes to The Clark and Williamstown, MA. Approx. 20 minutes from Pittsfield, MA. There are MANY mountains for skiing in the area! Just ask! :)
First level guest suite with a few steps at entry. Separate thermostat control. A converted space in part of our home where we are currently living.
This is a fantastic neighborhood. You can hear the church bells ring in the morning and the evening. We are located right next door to the Adams Free Library and in McKinley Square. We are a couple blocks from the Forest Park Country Club in Adams, MA. You'll find several great restaurants, coffee shops, and local businesses right around the corner!
  • These accommodations were great. Totally clean and good quality. While you enter through the bathroom, it's extremely spacious and totally works. I wish I had brought more of my own food, at least a microwaveable meal. There's a nice microwave, stove, coffee maker, small fridge/freezer (but bigger than the typical hotel mini fridge), and an iron/ironing board. I stayed here to visit MASS MoCA and came back during the afternoon to nap and rest before going to a program at the museum in the evening. MASS MoCA is only about a 10min drive away. I would absolutely stay here again.

  • Super clean and comfy.

    Elaine2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Danielle's suite was spotless and she was very quick to respond to messages. We had requested an early check in and she was completely accommodating. There were also thoughtful touches, like chocolates and a big dog bone and dedicated bowls laid out for our dog. We were also really into the cozy radiant heating in the floor in the bathroom, especially because it was 12 degrees outside!

    Heather2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time at Danielle’s! She was very quick to respond, super thoughtful, and allowed for a comfortable and easy stay. A few minutes away from Mass MoCA - highly recommend for a respite in the Berkshires!

Be my guest at the base of Mt. Greylock with creative energy to do art, writing, music, skiing, snowshoeing or hiking. Slumber on a queen sized bed, with an "art Installation" headboard to enjoy a retreat from your excursions. Adams is a town calling you to relax and rejuvenate alone or with friends in your space and common areas. There is $25. fee per guest beyond two or $20, fee for linens on the single bed. Kitchen is open for a continental style breakfast or BYO. Massage therapy available.
The Retreat has a cozy atmosphere with simple furnishings, and beautiful private bath & shared bathroom with possibly other guests. The room opens to a hallway & a large sunny room near by, called the Friends' Yoga Room - that can be rented for extra space for small meetings or events and extra guests with a double bed, an extra futon/double bed, a sink, a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and private bathroom and large closet space. Common areas include a sitting & dining area, kitchen and back yard with gardens.
The neighborhood is quiet, friendly and rather rural. We all enjoy the different colors and lighting on Mt. Greylock. Greylock Glen and Trail Heads are just down the road. There is a Quaker cemetery near by where the suffragette Susan B. Anthony was raised. On the town main street is Real Eyes Gallery.

  • A really cute place, super-conveniently located to all the great stuff in the Berkshires. It's essentially a detached studio, so while it's a snug space, you still feel you can spread out. Great view of the mountains, and Dave was really sweet to greet us as we were pulling in.

  • Stocked with food and drinks, sparkling clean and spacious, comfortable bed and furniture, I enjoyed everything about Ann-Marie’s place.

    Nick2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is a spacious apartment in an old, historic farmhouse. Ann-Marie and her daughter are wonderful hosts, and extremely accessible for any questions or needs. The spacious kitchen was perfect for making our own breakfasts with all of the delightful foods that were left out for us; and it wasn't just food for any possible breakfast we might want to make ourselves, but also for snacks and lunches, and some delicious wine! There were four of us staying in the apartment, and we had plenty of space to watch television, read, and do work, and not get in one another's way. The apartment and furniture is comfortable and clean. The only drawback for some people might be the age of the house and the fixtures; but for us, this was part of the charm! We were in town for a wedding at MassMOCA (a wonderful wedding venue, by the way!) -- Ann-Marie's place is about 7 minutes by car from the museum and from the restaurant in North Adams where a party was held the night before. We couldn't have been happier with this Airbnb!!

    Diane2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great location near route 8. Funky old farmhouse and very comfortable. Lots of food left for us which was very nice!

    Lauren2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely and easy stay at Ann-Marie's place. As a family, we really appreciated the homey and generous rambling Racine home being shared with us. Having breakfast materials in house was wonderful. The beds with good sheets and pillows, clean towels cloths and washing up soaps were also much appreciated! A suite of rooms with history, lovely views and cable tv accommodated everyone and the location was perfect for visiting Mass MOCA. We'd happily book again with the Racines if their home is available on our next visit!

    Cecilia2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The place was lovely. Beautiful and very large space, with an old house charm. There was tons of food waiting for us when we arrived. The screened-in porch was great--we spent a lot of time reading there. Perfect weekend.

    Spencer2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • I was delighted with the size and amenities. She also had excellent tips for local spots. It's an old house so there are old house things that should be accepted as normal. I'm just talking about the hot water taking a bit longer to heat up. No big deal. Piping hot afterwards. If I were to really nitpick I would suggest a few sharper knives since we did a lot of our own cooking.

    West2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Ann-Marie is a terrific host! She stocked the kitchen with loads of food and drink so we could have breakfast in the light-filled dining room. Mass MoCA and North Adams restaurants are a short drive away. We enjoyed our stay very much!

    Patricia2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is very spacious and the area is quiet. Beds were very comfortable and a full kitchen made preparing a meal very easy. The area felt safe - we went for walks in the neighborhood and felt very comfortable doing so. Check in was easy, as was checking out. Great experience!

Welcome to the historic Pollard House, circa 1890! We offer a private, one bedroom apartment within our home that is cozy, clean, comfortable with it own private entrance/sunroom . Downtown North Adams with its shops and restaurants and Mass MoCA are a short (10-15 minutes) walk down the hill. MCLA is even closer. Williamstown and Williams College are a 10-minute drive. We are happy to welcome guests of all races, religions, genders, and ethnicities. We look forward to your visit!
The apartment has a private access through a sun porch. It features a kitchen, bathroom, dining room, bedroom, and sitting room with pull-out sofa. We recently bought the house and have updated and painted to give the space a clean, airy feel. Situated in the rear of the house, off the street, the apartment is quiet and has views of the hills.
We live in a residential neighborhood on a typical, hilly North Adams street. We are about a 10-minute walk to downtown and another 5 minutes to Mass MoCA. Windsor Lake is a mile away where you can swim, kayak, and hike. Lots of great hiking can be had on Mount Greylock, which you can see from the house, and can be accessed by car in 10 minutes.
  • A great little apartment on a quiet side street. Galen is a generous host who provided lots of breakfast goodies, teas, coffee, all I needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay again on my next trip to the wonderful MassMoca!

  • Charming little apartment with a quiet, comfortable bedroom. Parking instructions from hosts were very helpful.

    Katie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay as this cozy spot. We ended up eating out during the day and cooking in at night--there was everything we needed, cooking-wise, to help make our meal. Galen was very responsive to any questions and helpful with local recommendations.

  • This was my second time staying at Galen’s place, and I hope it’s not the last! Just as during my first stay, everything was lovely.

  • Beautiful small cabin with nice views, amazing host who was always available if anything was to be needed. The place was SPOTLESS, I'm talking not even a hair anywhere to be seen. Perfect spot for a getaway into the woods of western mass, privacy and quiet surroundings. I will stay again if I am in the area again. Thanks so much Harold!

    Matthew2020-03-08T00:00:00Z

  • Everything as expected, great spot if you're planning on going to Berkshire East.

    Maria2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect cabin for a getaway! Even way better in person. The cabin has everything you need including a fully equipped kitchen. Not too far from Berkshire East Ski Resort if you’re into winter sports. Would definitely stay here again.

    Red2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at "the camp" was a fantastic experience! Everything was clean and well maintained. The pictures do not do it justice. Harold and Diane were very easy to reach in the case of questions and left a list of recommendations in the local area. There is very little to no cell service so it was great to disconnect, however there is WiFi. The full kitchen was so convenient to make a meal in without having to leave the cabin to travel to get dinner. We can't wait to come back in the fall!

I first would want all to know that this cottage is not winterized & is shut down til June 2020. I'm ready to take reservations for next year.... The cottage is quite large. We have a large indoor porch surrounded by large windows, a table that turns into snooker or some fun poker.. Many different chairs and a couch for relaxation or loads of fun.. also a outside porch with picnic table. Large dining room table for eats or board games. Direct tv is available. washer and dryer.
This unique stucco cottage built in 1924 retains its kitch and charm from when it was purchased in the 1960s. Enjoy a relaxed vintage like atmosphere with plenty of space. The large windows and forested views from the dining area give it a secluded feel.. The yard has outdoor picnic tables and a patioed fireplace (wood included) It's a 3 minute walk or you can drive to Windsor Pond for swimming fishing etc. You will find peace here..
You will have your own space. neighbors are short distance away and fantastic people if you like to mingle.
  • Linda was an excellent host, the cottage is really beautiful and made my birthday that much brighter. I really appreciated her tips on where to find the best places to swim and the kindling and wood for the fire pit. Thanks again, Linda!

    Palace2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Linda`s house is amazing, it is huge, very special and the location is absolutely beautiful. We spent some wonderful days there, swimming in the lake, making bonfires, exploring the beautiful surroundings in the Berkshires and on Mt. Greylock and just relaxing. A very good place and a great host! Thanks!

    Kerstin2019-08-24T00:00:00Z

    Chris2019-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great house, easy walk to the lake. Everything we needed and more

    Jennifer2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed three nights at Linda’s cottage, and after a little trouble finding the place, settled right in. The cottage is something of a 1960-1970’s time capsule, with a lot of the decor from that time. It’s a totally unique property and we had a blast staying there. A little musty when we arrived, but opening windows and putting on a fan took care of it. We swam every day in Windsor Pond and used the cottage as a home base for traveling to/from MassMOCA. Beautiful, scenic drives. Linda was incredibly hospitable, accommodating and open to feedback.

This two-level house is at a five minutes drive (2.4 miles) from MassMoCA. The downstairs apartment offers a comfortable stay for up to four guests, with a queen and a full size bed. Entirely private place equipped with a full kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a bedroom and a cozy living room. A good starting point for visiting Williamstown and North Adams, or for going hiking. You can conveniently check yourself in and feel at home, but I live nearby and can be contacted with any questions.
The queen size bed is in a nicely set up bedroom. The kitchen is spacious and sun-filled, with a large dining table, a gas stove, a small fridge and a number of ways to prepare tea or coffee. In the living room you will find a shelf with brochures, maps and other local information, and some cozy armchairs. The other end of the living room has the full size bed. If you pull in the curtains it can be converted into a second little bedroom.
The house has a lovely historic character, right across from the red brick building of the Berkshire Mill -- one of the reinvented old factory buildings of our area. The backyard reaches the bank of the Hoosic River. On the other side of State Road you can see the mountains, and a number of hiking trails are right nearby: you can access the Appalachian Trail, the Cascades Trail, or head off towards Mount Greylock.

The center is town is less than a mile walk away on sidewalk'd streets, and many of the hiking trails up Greylock are a short drive down the street. Uber/Lyft are not popular here yet, but we had very reasonable rates and near-term availability using RJ's Taxi Service to get to/from North Adams on a Saturday night.

  • Very clean and cozy basement apartment. The snacks and water were a nice touch! If you are a light sleeper and plan to sleep in late, you may want to consider bringing earplugs as it is a basement and you can hear movement/footsteps upstairs. However, it was only within reasonable hours (not super late at night or early in the morning). Overall, I would definitely recommend as an affordable and cozy stay.

  • We stay at Jennifer's place every year while attending a local music festival. The townhouse is emaculate! 3 bedrooms and a great finished walk out basement with treadmill, poker table, washer/dryer. Very thoughtful touches, bath products ( if you forget your own), fluffy towels and coffee pods, bottled water in the fridge. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Small town New England and Mt. Greylock just minutes away!

    Cheryl2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time at Jennifer’s home. It was quite roomy; our kids had plenty of space to spread out and play. The location was also very pleasant, we enjoyed venturing into town and exploring the nearby destinations in the Berkshires (it was our first time visiting). Jennifer was very flexible and accommodating. Most notably my husband forgot to pack my jacket and my daughter’s jackets which he had hung in a closet. We were very sad to find them missing when we got home and realized what had happened. I reached out to Jennifer who went out of her way to locate the jackets and ship them to us. She wouldn’t even let me reimburse her for shipping expenses. It was such a relief to have our jackets back. Jennifer is a kind and gracious host and we highly recommend her home.

  • Carolyn and Ben's place was great. It's charming and very spacious, with a great location for anyone wanting to explore North Adams and The Berkshires. My wife and I were visiting MassMOCA and would have been able to walk there from Carolyn and Ben's if it weren't raining. They are great hosts, made check in and check out a cinch, and shared a great local breakfast suggestion to boot (Renee's, if you're curious). We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area.

They are wonderful hosts and have furnished the space thoughtfully, down to the smallest details like fresh flowers, milk in the fridge for coffee, COFFEE!!! (and tea), and many other small but meaningful touches. We will definitely be back.

Her property is beautiful and we enjoyed looking at the brook and farm animals. The loft is pretty basic, but Caroline quickly provided anything else we needed (extra utensils, dishes, etc.). Her dog is very sweet and got along great with our pup as well.

    Megan2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great location, right between the Berkshires of Massachusetts and the Green Mountains of Vermont. The loft was cozy, right on a small farm surrounded by beautiful scenery. The space included a kitchen and a full bath, it was perfect for a quiet getaway in Southern Vermont.

  • Carolyn is a great host and was always available when we needed something. The space is perfect and has everything you could want. I would happily stay here again.

My sunny, comfortable guest apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a Victorian house in the Cady Hill Historic District, one of the oldest neighborhoods in North Adams. It has a private entrance. Off-street parking is available for one vehicle. Free, wifi/wireless access is included. The apartment is quiet and modern. There is a small sitting room off of the entry hall that that is perfect for two. The full kitchen has new appliances (range/oven; refrigerator; microwave), a tea kettle and coffee maker, a table and chairs, and cupboards stocked with essentials for light cooking (dishes, flatware, etc.). The bedroom has a queen bed, a bookcase and easy chair. There is a full bath with a tub and shower next to the bedroom. I provide sheets, blankets, bath towels and kitchen towels. The house is close to MASS MoCA (ten minute walk), MCLA (five minute walk), and just a few blocks away from downtown coffee shops and restaurants. Natural Bridge State Park and Windsor Lake are a five minute drive away. Williams College, Clark Art Institute, WCMA and the Williamstown Theatre Festival are accessible by car (fifteen minutes).
  • Diane's apartment is quaint, spacious, and clean. She was very hospitable and the apartment contained thoughtful touches like an array of tea, books, and card games. The location is very close to downtown North Adams (less than 5 mins to Mass MoCA) and she provides a list of places to eat/drink/visit that helps tremendously when first visiting the area. We had a wonderful 2 night stay and will likely stay here if we visit the area again!

    Darby2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Our visit to Diane’s place was outstanding. The space is beautiful, views of the Berkshires from each window! There was plenty of space and many feel-good touches like great books, miniature animal decorations and fresh spring water in the fridge. We loved our stay, and we will be back!

This is a private room with a comfortable full size bed and a full bathroom. Entirely separate from the rest of the house, the guest area has its own entrance door. Quiet and peaceful at night, a good starting point for visiting the museums of the area or going hiking -- the Appalachian Trail is right nearby. Works great if what you need is a bed and a bathroom in a safe and clean, entirely private little guest suite.

In-between Williamstown and North Adams, in a natural area. The house is in a quiet little street, right by a stream. From the front porch you get a view on the mountains.
  • The room at Dori’s place was even better than expected! The room has a private entrance and attached bathroom, so it is very private. The tea kettle and tea was a very welcome touch! Only 7 minutes from Mass MoCA! Thanks so much!

Drift off to the sound a a babbling brook outside the bay window in this cozy country cottage. Take a hike in a protected forest right outside your door or head to downtown Williamstown and North Adams for amazing museums, theaters, dance, music, and restaurants.
There is a parking space at the end of the driveway near the cottage marked by a red wagon. A stone path leads to the cottage from the space. Please don't park on the lawn near the cottage as that could damage the septic tank. The cottage is best for a maximum of two adults or two adults and one child. There is a queen bed on the first floor and bathroom with small stall shower. There is a loft (open to the downstairs) accessible by ladder/stair with a twin bed in it. The loft is not suitable for young children and because of the size of the cottage and the configuration of the ladder, the space is too small for three adults, especially for multiple nights. The loft is not a separate room so the space is not conducive to travelers who want privacy from those they are traveling with. There is no freezer. If you need ice, please let us know and we are happy to provide it. We provide mugs, coffee, tea, and sugar but you will need to BYO milk or cream if you want it. We ask you not to smoke in the house or anywhere on the property. We supply shampoo and conditioner and there is a blow dryer in the top of the closet. There are window coverings for privacy but no room darkening shades and two large windows are uncovered. If you need a dark space for sleeping, we recommend you bring an eye mask. We leave the cottage unlocked. There is a key hanging on the hook near the door if you feel the need to lock when you go out. If you do use the key please make sure to leave it. There is a $100 charge for a missing key.
Our neighborhood feels like the country but you are only about 1.5 miles from downtown Williamstown. Our property backs up to the Mountain Meadow, a Trustees of the Reservations property.
  • Awesome place. Such a cozy cottage with the amazing view. Great place for a getaway from the city!

  • This was our 2nd time staying here, it was just as great as the first time!

    Christopher2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The Brookside Cottage is more cozy and charming in person and well worth a visit! Convenient location to explore North Adams and the surrounding area. All the amenities you need. Self-sufficient check in/check out. Katherine provided a well thought out range of local suggestions, which was much appreciated. We went to two of them--Chef's Hat and a hipster American food place that I can't remember the name of. Both were great!

    Liz2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Katherine's cabin was so charming -- just what we wanted for a weekend getaway! Very warm in the winter snow with such a beautiful view and nice trails behind, even in the winter. would stay here again!

    Arthur2020-02-16T00:00:00Z

It's a very special location with big picture windows overlooking a babbling stream with a little wooden suspension bridge and beautiful river rocks. • Chad has thought of every detail. From the welcome note to the personalized cookies and luxury bath products, everything exceeded our expectations. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully appointed. Everything was there to cook a meal in the full kitchen, or if you wanted to go out, there were several pamphlets outlining the area. We were a short drive to Mt. Snow for skiing. The beds were incredibly comfortable and plenty of space to feel like we were not right on top of the couple that traveled with us. We loved waking up to the sound of the brook in the morning and sitting on the upstairs patio enjoying our coffee. The Lovesac bean bags were such a treat for reading a book and relaxing. Only giving 5 stars because 6 isn't an option. If you are looking for a quiet, serene getaway, this is it. We hope to visit many more times in the future.

    April2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about our stay was great. finding the cabin was easier than expected, and as soon as we walked in we where amazed by the amount of detail that every corner of the cabin is decorated with. The kitchen is equiped with everything that you need to cook simple meals, the entire space is super clean, beds are spacious and comfortable, We loved the tv room and the views from the living room. If you get lucky, the perfect location for stargazing. Communication with the hosts was fast and easy, we would definitely stay here again if we ever have the chance.

    Julian2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • There are not enough stars to rate how perfect the place and our experience there was! The property is gorgeous, cozy, and it exceeded our expectations for comfort. Our hosts are thorough in their explanations, their expectations for our stay, and the best ways to spend time around town. Location-wise we were also quite pleased, the accessible options for sightseeing and for entertainment were quite close. Everything was convenient. We went for a quiet time away and that is exactly what we got. We woke up to falling snow, which was pristine and accumulated throughout the property adding to the appeal of the scenery. The driveway and paths were safe, neatly shoveled, and so well cared for. We imagined that this place is just as stunning in the summer or fall. Small personalized touches around the home welcoming us set the tone right away. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking and lounging around the home. There are warm blankets, amazing giant fluffy seats in the loft area that are unexpectedly comfortable. The whole place is delightful. The decor is warm and elegant throughout. Chad communicated all the necessary instructions from the start. We asked him a follow-up question and he answered quickly. Our phone signal wasn't great there but the Wifi more than made up for it. We didn't watch any TV but that is also available if you want as well as board games and books. In short, we can't wait to go back. Thank you for making your lovely home available to us.

  • Beautiful and stylish cabin in the woods! Has everything you could ever need or want! Quiet and private, while being close to North Adams for fine dining and the enormous Mass MoCA Art museum! Loved the smart lock & WiFi valet (so clever/helpful)! Enormous Love sac beanbag [type] chairs are super fun and wicked comfortable! Stay here, you won’t be disappointed! Our favorite AirBnB to date! Thanks so much Chad & David!

    Maribe2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • We read all of the excellent reviews of this place but still found it exceeded our expectations. As a family of four, with two young teens, the space was accommodating and a great fit. So cozy and comfortable -- we loved the loft with the bean bag sacs -- the kids couldn't get enough of them and spent the first full evening lounging and reading aloud to each other. The location is beautiful and we enjoyed walking along the brook in the snow. We were a little nervous when we learned that a snow storm was scheduled to come through, but Chad put us at ease with instructions about the snow plow and scheduled an extra plowing of the private road. The kids asked repeatedly to come back in summer or fall. A very relaxing stay and well situated to visit Williamstown and North Adams.

This bunk room, our wee one, is perfect for quiet rest and reading under the cute book lights we include in every room. If you're traveling with lots of gear, you might be more comfortable in the Low room or the Merrill, which are a bit more roomy. A cozy, rustic, modern bunkhouse, the guesthouse is outfitted with simple cotton bedding, a full set of tableware handmade in the studio below and enough cookware and kitchen supplies to serve you and your guests for the weekend or longer. Bard owls call to each other at dusk. The available space includes three bedrooms, a shared kitchen (between guests), a shared bath (between guests). Please note that there is not a living room in the bunkhouse; the kitchen and dining area are one space and serve as the common area of the bunkhouse. The second is a private use family room. One bathroom in the guest house serves both guests and visiting artists working in the studio. Don’t be surprised if you see an unfamiliar face on their way to use the facilities. All bedrooms are dedicated visiting guest spaces and have lock and key. *Please note there is no smoking on the property. Sorry, although three dogs live on the property, no visiting pets are allowed. Ask me about private pottery classes. They require scheduling separate from your Airbnb reservation, so please inquire ahead of your visit. I'd love to teach you how to make pottery!

  • Dell & Susan's was such a wonderful place to stay. A beautiful place, cozy suite, and convenient location! The alpacas were so much fun to visit with before we set out for the day. Thank you Dell & Susan!

    Ria2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Dell and Susan are very kind people, and their place is clean and neat with nice touches (such as the alpaca fur figure in the living room). The animals (alpacas and dogs) on the property are such a pleasure to interact or watch, and the location is in close driving proximity to town centers of Williamstown (2-5 minutes) and/or North Adams (10-15 minutes). The alpaca fiber products (scarf, gloves, socks, gloves...etc) sold at their store are made of great quality too. If I will be in the area, I will definitely stay here again!

  • This place had all the charm of an old house but all the modern decor and amenities. The place is decorated like a lovely bed and breakfast. There is plenty of space. It was quiet. It had all we needed. Wifi was solid. Jennifer was a great communicator who gave us all the info we needed, was there if we needed, and otherwise gave us plenty of privacy to do our thing. Check in and check out were breezes. I would definitely stay there again if I am back in town.

  • This was such a wonderful getaway weekend with everything that Jennifer does to make her place feel homey. From the fresh flowers to the artsy decorations and the snacks to the convenient supplies for guests’ use, Jennifer could run her own bed and breakfast. We loved the quaint space, amazing location with mountain views and walkable to MassMOCA as well. The apartment is what I have always wished every Airbnb would look like!

  • My friends and I had a great time at Jennifer's place. Check-in and check-out were both very convenient, as were the activity suggestions she was able to provide. The entire stay was about as seamless as could be, in an extremely well-furnished spot to boot! Highly recommend.

  • Wonderful private space, very convenient to downtown North Adams. Very responsive hosts.

    Andrew2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer is a great host, very communicative and thoughtful. The house is very clean and decorated very well. Jennifer left us lots of helpful items like snacks in the kitchen and available toiletries in the bathroom, she even left us popcorn bags in a popcorn buckets so we could enjoyed our evening in front of the TV - it is clear that Jennifer put a lot of thoughts into decorating and furnish the house. I would defiantly come back if we'll happen to be in North Adams again. Thank you Jennifer

Our place is close to dining, family-friendly activities, public transport, local museums (Mass MoCA, Williams College Museum of Art, Clark Art Institute), Mass College of Liberal Arts, local pubs and performance venues. You’ll love our place because of its walking distance to downtown and quiet neighborhood with park setting. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). We are also a 10 minute car ride from the Ashuwilticook Rail Trail.
The space has a private entrance on a small deck at the LEFT REAR of the property. Deck has chairs and umbrella for relaxing. Inside the room, you'll find a Queen bed in one alcove and a Double in another. A private bath completes the space. Great neighborhood for walking. We have added a microwave and small refrigerator to the room for your convenience.
Our neighborhood is quiet and scenic. There is open space across from our house that is owned by a neighbor but adds a park-like feel to the street. You can walk downtown in 5-10 minutes depending where you need to go.
  • Lois' space is great! The location is awesome and the space is super clean and thoughtfully curated. We loved our stay!

  • Great space in a charming, quiet neighborhood only a short ways away from Mass Moca. Had the weather been warmer it would’ve been easily walkable. The room had plenty of amenities for a comfortable stay and lots of information to explore the surrounding area. The directions for parking and entry were clear and concise. Definitely recommend for a weekend trip to North Adams.

I live a half mile from Mass MOCA. Easy walking distance to downtown area and restaurants. I have a spare bedroom not in use and it's set up for guests. Great for an overnight stay for a Moca event. Camping in yard also available. I do have 3 dogs. Very friendly. Dogs allowed under right circumstances. Shared large bathroom upstairs. Small bathroom downstairs with washer/dryer if needed.
Quiet neighborhood. Off street parking. Half mile down hill walk to downtown.
MASS MOCA. Close to williamstown theater festival. Short drive to mount greylock. Short drive to local ski resorts...Mount snow/Jiminy Peak/Berkshire East.
  • Clean, quiet and close to MASS MOCA. She knows a lot about area😊

  • Pamela's place was wonderful, amazingly convenient for downtown North Adams and the surrounding areas, and she was a great host! Would absolutely stay here again.

  • Very pleasant stay, nice dogs.

    Robert2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela was accommodating with my arrival time and easy to communicate with. Bed was comfy and her place worked well for my needs. Meeting her three doggos was a big bonus!

    Jerrod2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela is super nice and her three Boxers are super sweet! MASS MoCA is right down the street so this is a very convenient location in this nostalgic, old mill town. And you can't beat the price!

    Bruce2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela's house really feels like a home. Her three dogs are full of love and they have much of that love to give. Each one has their own unique personality and quirks. They are happy to greet you, show you around their home, and make you feel like a member of the house. Let's not forget the star of the show. Pamela was a spectacular host herself! She was super thoughtful and really makes an attempt to make sure you feel at home and are comfortable. She was able to provide me with a lot of useful information about the area, gave me walking directions (which MANY things here are in walking distance), and just made sure my experience was top notch. I would recommend anyone to stay with her. This ideal location (especially to MASS MoCA) would fulfill the needs of anyone traveling to North Adams.

Top-floor, penthouse unit in the historic 1854 Flatiron building. Recently renovated. It's a really cool place to stay... Lot's of privacy... Walk to MCLA, MassMOCA, restaurants, gym, movie theater, grocery stores and many other area attractions
It's the top-floor of one of the oldest flatiron buildings in the United States. In addition, it's the most unique unit within the building. The Unit starts right at the point of where the Flatiron begins! Note: The Unit is located in the downtown area of North Adams. It's a Flatiron (triangular building). There is a street on each side of the Flatiron. It's located among shops and restaurants, etc. At times, it can be a little noisy. With a queen-size bed, a futon couch bed and a fold-up twin bed available upon request, the Unit can sleep up to 4 people. However, for the purpose of comfort, we strongly recommend no more than 2 individuals. History Existing flatiron buildings in the United States date back to the 1800s with the first built in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The most popular buildings today are the Gooderham Building, built in Toronto in 1892; the English-American building in Atlanta, built in 1897; and the most famous, the Fuller Building of Manhattan, built in 1902. San Francisco, Fort Worth, Chicago and Portland, Oregon, also have fine examples of flatiron architecture. These buildings have been designated as historic landmarks. Function Flatiron buildings serve two goals: They employ efficient use of otherwise unused space for residential and/or commercial purposes and give business districts a specific architectural identity. Identification Surviving flatiron buildings are found on wedge-shaped lots usually in the center of a city's business district or older neighborhoods and offer examples of classic 19th-century style. Fun Fact Manhattan's Fuller Building is a popular venue for movies, including the comic-book Spiderman series, which used the flatiron as headquarters for the fictional "Daily Bugle" newspaper offices.
There are numerous art galleries, restaurants, churches, a gym, a movie theater, MCLA, Mass Moca, a grocery store, drug stores, parks, a post office all within walking distance. The views of the mountains and all of the history surrounding North Adams makes it a wonderful place to live at and visit!
  • Great location! This cute place was perfect for our overnight trip to North Adams. Jonas and George were fantastic hosts too!

    Amanda2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect resting spot in town for a MassMoca. Easy walking distance to the museum and to everything else in town.

    Stephen2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great space and great location. Apartment was perfect for a night or two at a fair price and without a ridiculous cleaning fee.

    Eric2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Comfy apartment with lots of character in an ideal location for enjoying North Adams and the surrounding region. Hosts could not have been kinder.

    Mike2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • George and Jonas’s place was wonderful! The location was perfect - a short walk to Mass Moca and other great spots in North Adams. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and cozy. The only potential downside is the noise factor - because the building is old, the walls are paper thin and you can easily hear street noise and the neighbors’ conversations. We didn’t mind this, but those who are light sleepers may have an issue. But overall a great stay. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others!

    Hayley2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely and bright little apartment located minutes walk from the museum.

    Kate2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Big thanks to George and Jonas for accepting my last minute request to book! They made sure our stay was comfortable and the communication was also on point. The space was clean, as described and comfortable. It’s location is ideal for North Adams! Great value, I would recommend staying here!
