There is a short path allowing access to the creek or you can sit on the porch and listen to its tranquil sounds.

  • Absolutely loved this cabin! Exactly what we expected. Great location, tucked back from main roads and friendly neighbors! We had a great time relaxing and hiking around the creek with our pup! Favorite part was the hot tub! Definitely will be returning in the future :)

  • Such a relaxing retreat! We don’t travel much in the winter, but this cabin was the ideal cold weather getaway, especially with the hot tub. Can’t beat the amenities either. We brought some of our own groceries and the cabin had all the cookware needed to prepare meals. Definitely want to come back!!

  • Everything was super cute and cozy. We loved the hot tub. Great value for price! The only thing we didn't like was the bedding. Older quilts that smelled dusty.

    Friendsville, MD, United States

Built in 1941 as Mountain Chevrolet Garage on the foundation of the former Confluence Hotel constructed in the late 1880s, our home is the perfect location for a night off the GAP trail or a day trip to Ohiopyle State Park or Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater (15 miles) and Kentucky Knob (13 miles). Second story apartment with river views that feels like a farmhouse and is situated on top of a warehouse. This guest room is one of two in our home. Managed by an artist couple.
This 1940s brick warehouse was a former autodealership and garage with two apartments above. The apartments were renovated into one 3200 sqft apartment in the 1990s by a previous owner. It feels like a farm house on top of a warehouse with picturesque views of the river, town, trees and mountains. The guest room is located in the west wing of this second story apartment facing the Casselman River, Sugarloaf Mountain, and the west side of Confluence. The full size mattress is on the medium firm/soft side. The Riverview Room is one of two guest rooms in the west wing that we have listed on AirBnB. The full bathroom in the apartment is shared with guests from the other room and is the main bathroom in our home. However, we do have our own bathroom located in the master suite. A half bath is located in the storefront, the room where we greet you on the street level. Please note: 1.) There is a 19-step staircase to access the apartment. 2.) We do not have central air conditioning. There are window and/or portable AC units in each bedroom. Room is equipped with clean sheets, hypoallergenic pillows (4) and comforter, ceiling fan, window air conditioning unit, white noise machine, extra blanket, kleenex, jar of filtered water and glasses, and ear plugs. Towels and washclothes are located in the shared bath. At the top of the stairs is a large sunroom -- perfect for relaxation, reading a book, eating a meal, savoring a cup of coffee or tea (provided). Other common areas include library, living room, kitchen, and dining room. We are a five minute bike ride (.8 of a mile) from the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) Trail in Confluence, 26 minutes (15 miles) by car to Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and 23 minutes (13 miles) to his later home, Kentuck Knob. Whitewater rafting, fly fishing, hiking, biking, and skiing are all close by.
Confluence is a small rural mountain town in SW Somerset County, Pennsylvania at the confluence of the Youghiogheny and Casselman rivers and the Laurel Hill creek. We are located two blocks from the town square which features Confluence Cyclery, a locally-owned hardware store, post office, two banks, produce store, and gas station/restuarant. A grocery store is five blocks away. Other restuarants are located a little further out -- The River's Edge Cafe is six blocks away on the west side of town accessible via a foot/bike bridge over the Casselman -- and Lucky Dog Cafe (.8 of a mile) near the GAP trail off of 281. Trains run along Latrobe Ave through the day and night. And the Confluence Volunteer Fire Department is a block away.
  • Suzanne and Pope were wonderful hosts. Their initiative in Confluence is admirable and we are excited to return and watch it grow. Lest I forget to mention the outdoor recreation—there is a lot of it between Ohiopyle and Fallingwater, but it’s even a treat just to sit and take in the rivers right in town. Comfortable bed and serene atmosphere. This stay has small town purity inside a culturally rich home.

  • I came to Confluence to get “off the grid”. To spend a couple days with my phone off; no ties to life, no obligations, and a bit of optimism to find a little peace with nature. I don’t know exactly what I was looking for, but I found a lot of it on this trip — due in no small part to this space and the people who run it. First things first, Pope and Suzanne are phenomenal hosts. Quick to communicate, and wholeheartedly committed to ensuring you have a good time. They’re transplants to the area themselves, so they know the ropes, they know their way around, and importantly, they know your perspective as a visitor. They estimated that 51% of their guests are in town for Fallingwater, and they’re deeply knowledgable about this, offering some great tips about other Frank Lloyd Wright interests in the area, as well as tips about some other parts of town I came to thoroughly enjoy. There was a lot to be said about serendipity on this trip — “the artist going off the grid” finding a space where the hosts happened to be true, lifetime artists, off the grid? Absolutely wild. Also, Giovanni, their dog, is remarkably adorable. A very good boy indeed. Second things second, the space itself! My lord! A 1940s car dealership converted to an arts space and a home. I might've paid admission to just take a tour, let alone to live there for a couple days. Pope and Suzanne encouraged me to play my acoustic guitar in the studio space — unbelievably, there’s no photo of this room on the listing (at the time of writing) — but it was a marvelous, open space that I’m grateful to have occupied. When the sun set over the river through the factory-style windows as I poorly played guitar lines unworthy of the space’s absolutely remarkable, natural acoustics… it was one of my favorite moments of my brief vacation. A note to musicians: maybe record a song here! The living areas that are meant to be shared are also truly first-rate, and I am similarly surprised there are no photos on the listing of these. The art hung on the walls is striking, and the furniture and decor are tastefully hip (I heard it’s been described similar to "quaint farmhouse meets New York loft”, which I’d hold very accurate). The bathroom was stocked with any and everything you might need, including handmade soaps from Oakland. Oh, and the kitchen? It was stocked as if the essentials were handpicked by gourmands -- everything from various oils (craft e.v.o.o. to sunflower), down to some very exceptional artisan, himalayan salt. When I saw this, I think I let out an audible “hot damn.” Not only is this an objectively perfect place to stay, you’re doing good by the community to stay here. Confluence (and the surrounding area) is bolstered by a significant amount of tourism income, and yet, there is very little arts space. By staying here, you’re helping fund a small business that seeks to inject the arts into Confluence, to provide residency programs, and also to establish an espresso shop and apothecary. But (most importantly, in my opinion), you’re helping to provide Confluence with a relevant gallery. When you stay at Tissue Farm, you’re helping the community — the local youth! — attain a local, relevant, and *accessible* arts space! It’s so important! This is one of the longer reviews I’ve typed out for an AirBnB, but without question, my stay at Tissue Farm was the best experience I’ve had on this platform. Whether you’re in the area for an outdoors excursion, or a few Frank Lloyd Wright tours, or just to get off the grid — it’d almost be foolish to stay anywhere else.

    Grayson2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • This was the first time I've stayed in an Air BNB and I didn't know what to expect. I knew it was a room in someone's home, and I knew the area that it was in, as I usually camp down the road. The price was more reasonable than most chain hotels I've stayed in nearby and the cleanliness was impeccable. There is character and charm in the Tissue Farm. The room was cozy and warm, eclectic art adorns the walls, organic soap and toiletries are provided in the bathroom, and a tasty breakfast of oatmeal with fresh pears and coffee was provided in the morning, and the hosts Suzanne and Pope were really cool and hospitable. They have a really cool vision of the future of the Tissue Farm which includes a coffee shop, art gallery, and maker space, as well as restoring a vintage RV trailer as another Air BNB room. I'm excited to stay at the Tissue Farm again on my next visit to the area!

  • What a comfortable and private house. We love to cook and enjoyed using the fully functional antique gas stove. Our dog was happy with the yard. We dont have kids yet, but if we did they would have lives the bedroom with the single beds and antique baseball decorations. I really liked the way the house was decorated with country folk style and the vintage Singer sewing machine tables. Nice way to do the floors in the rustic way upstairs, and the modern master bedroom addition was a great surprise!

    Sean2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at this house over the holidays to spend time with family in the area. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The yard in back is quite large and was great for our dog to play around in. We also really made use of the large table in the dining room for gaming with family and eating a family lunch. We had enough room for my extended family (7 people) to eat and play games comfortably. Just a note, the stove is one that you have to light to use. We were perfectly fine with that, but I thought to note it for other travelers. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. Almost every room on the first floor and some on the second have a step going into it, so be aware of that. We stubbed our toes a few times before we learned to pick up our feet. The owners have helpfully lined the steps with red tape to alert you, so you just have to pay attention. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Mike was very helpful and answered any questions we had quickly. We would stay again!

  • Great house with lots of space inside and out. Well located near several ski areas and outdoor attractions. Even in rainy / snowy weather the covered bridge tour got the kiddos super excited.

  • The house is quaint with thoughtful and charming details. It's well equipped and very clean. We went to Wisp for skiing a few times; it's not super close, but it worked well. It's a bit too far to go back and forth to the ski resort more than once a day. We also visited Fallingwater and explored Ohiophyle a little; it was amazing.

  • This was my second time staying at Karol's place. It was just as nice as when I stayed 3 years ago. Its very clean and has everything you could need. Well stocked and comfortable.

  • The house was clean and spacious and had everything you would need! We loved how close it was to the Yough Lake. We rented a boat for the day and had a great time. We took our 15 month old and we were very happy that there was a door at the bottom of the steps so we didn’t have to worry about him going up. So, definitely toddler friendly!

  • Loved this place!! Very quaint and cozy. Our host, Karol, has covered every need you could possibly have. She has plenty of snacks and treats to munch on, a well stocked kitchen , a hair dryer and grooming supplies games for rainy days, and the internet! We are looking forward to returning in the future.

  • Karol is an exceptional host and her home is spotless and well appointed. It is near lots of outdoor activities, but if you choose to stay indoors Karol has thought of everything. Our dogs loved the large yard and peaceful street for our morning walks. We plan to stay here again. This was our second holiday at The Parsonage and it is a great value for the area. We consider a true hidden gem!

    Lisa2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Karol's house is great! This is our 2nd time staying here and always clean! So much space to spread out if needed. Highlight is always playing yard games and cooking out after rafting! Thanks again Karol!

  • We had a short stop in Confluence for a nearby wedding. We were welcomed with home made cookies, a card, and stocked kitchen. We were a group of friends and the house was set up perfectly for everyone to have their own space and privacy. The House was spotless and had amazing original woodwork. Bradley was quick with responses, very accommodating, and Maureen met us upon arrival to give us a tour. If i ever find myself in the area again, I would 100 percent stay again. Thank you Maureen & Bradley.

  • Peddler’s Rest was an awesome overnight stop on our family trip on the Great Allegheny Passage. It was a 2 minute ride on low traffic streets from the trail and had easy access into the basement for bike storage as well as some basic bike tools and supplies. Brad and Maureen made logistics a breeze and the house was spotless and had a well outfitted kitchen for a big dinner. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re thinking of overnighting in Confluence!

A four-season outdoor Mecca! This renovated 2-story home is nested between the Youghiogheny and Casselman Rivers, with easy access to hiking, bike trails, and water sports. It is also half way between 7-Springs & Deep Creek Ski Resorts. Confluence is a quaint town with grocery stores, restaurants, a gas station, and 2 banks. The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac and feels isolated. It includes a fire pit, BBQ, a well equipped kitchen, plus multiple options for sleeping arrangements.
Originally designed as a hostel, this house can sleep larger groups. The house was completely remodeled and modernized in 2018, all amenities are supplied. The kitchen is set up for cooking. It has a double oven and most appliances desired. There is a laundry room and office area in one bedroom. 3 bedrooms are upstairs (please see description for bed layout), with a futon, sectional couch and cot provide sleeping options downstairs. Having a bathroom on both levels.
Confluence is an outdoor Mecca with small town charm. The town motto is "Where Mountains Meet Rivers". It flanks the most beautiful stretch of the GAP rail-trail, has abundant fishing, swimming, and hiking opportunities. It is at the put-in for the family section of whitewater, and near intermediate and advanced sections that flow year-round. During the winter, Confluence is conveniently located half way between Deep Creek and 7-Springs Ski Resorts. There are a number of juried art and Amish communities nearby for shopping, while many of the surrounding towns have their trademark festivals throughout the year. Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater is only a 20' drive.
  • My friends and I stayed at Audrey’s place for the long weekend and had a blast! It was so close to the rivers and had a great view of the mountains, her place was fully stocked with everything we needed to make meals and the sleeping arrangements were perfect! Highly recommend to anyone who wants a quiet getaway or is hiking around the area (Ohiopyle etc.) Hopefully we will return sometime!

  • Audrey’s home was like being home away from home and Confluence is a peaceful little town. It was very cozy and clean. The space is great for med/large groups. Everyone knows While traveling it’s hard to bring everything but the kitchen sink but no worries she has it all. Paper towels, toilet paper, sham/cond, blankets, spices, pots/pans ext. You name it I’m sure she has it. The fire pit and hammock are a nice touch and enjoyed using them. Audrey was informative and prompt to respond from the beginning till the end of our journey! Go check it out for yourself!

  • The house is just as the pictures show it. Very clean and so homey. Nice deck to cookout and a beautiful yard for play and fires on a chilly autumn night. The river is only 2 blocks away or a short drive to Ramcat. The quality for this price is beyond belief.

    Sheila2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • The house was clean and a wonderful space to welcome in the fall season. The area is really nice for outdoor activities and a Dollar General across the street to pick up anything you may want to cook or maybe forgot at home. Jordan was perfect helping with answering questions in a timely manner. Perfect hosts and perfect space for my family. Even a fenced in backyard for our energetic pup!

    Tina2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great location for biking, hiking and close to landmarks, house was comfortable-fireplace and grill was what made it more enjoyable. The view is good also close to the mountains and clean air. Food mart and dollar general are in walking distance.

    Ken2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay... Close to the trails, you can actually ride your bike right to the trail!! Close to the river also. The place is clean and has everything you need. We especially enjoyed the the fenced in yard and the little fire pit, it was nice and private. You can’t go wrong with this Airbnb! Jenny

The house is close to the treasures of the Laurel Highlands. Top attractions are the Confluence rivers and Lake, Ohiopyle, Fallingwater, Seven Springs and Nemacolin Woodlands. You’ll love the place because of the ambiance of the house. The screened in porch is very relaxing after a day at the beach, on the lake or river or on the slopes.
This space is a great location for families, couples or individuals. The kitchen is fully equipped with all essential cooking tools. The house sleeps 6. All linens and soaps are provided for your convenience. It is a private house on a quiet street in the heart of town with a large flat backyard which is great for volleyball, corn hole etc. A corn hole game is provided.
Confluence is a quiet little mountain town with all of the basic necessities. The Great Allegheny Passage runs thru town making it a great stop for bicyclists. There is a small park in the middle of town with a gazebo and picnic tables. For fine dining there is the Rivers Edge Café located on the Yough river. For a more casual fare the Lucky Dog restaurant is also available.
  • Great house at a great location near Ohiopyle park!

Fernwalk is a romantic upscale 2-queen BR cottage with fireplace between Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, Ohiopyle, and Western MD. Add'l amenities: Wifi, spa robes, grill, heated bathroom floors, computer & printer, DVDs & foosball. Our dining and resources guide will help you find fabulous places nearby to make your vacation 5-star!
Guests have called this cottage "soothing to the soul" and "an ideal place for a personal retreat." It has been recently renovated with the goal of serenity and comfort in mind. Fernwalk is ideal for two individuals or two couples who want a bit more quality and impeccability than they would find in the typical vacation rental or cabin. The kitchen is first class with tile floors, granite counter tops, and plenty of tools for the chef. The bedrooms are plush carpeted and beautiful hardwood floors adorn the living spaces. The gas log fireplace makes romantic moments effortless and the house safe if you decide to go out. We've been told our rate is excellent considering the high quality amenities.
The village of Addison is a peaceful and historic village, wonderful for after dinner walks. It's also the location of the Petersburg Tollhouse, built of stone in 1835, and an overnight stop for the wagon train that travels the historic National Road every year during Old Pike Days. Fernwalk is close enough to Route 40 to make it easy for Friday night arrivals after a long week. There are no long twisty turny dark roads in unknown territory! And... it's close to Youghiogheny Lake for fishing and boating, and the GAP Trail for walking or biking along the Yough or Casselman Rivers!
  • Great stay in a beautiful home. Communication was fantastic and hospitality very impressive. Would recommend and stay again.

  • Beautiful home! Beth has taken the time to put together an amazing selection of information about the area! We didn'twant to leave & return to reality!

    Kristi2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • The picture doesn’t do the house justice. There were tons of special touches (like the all natural products, books and travel guides); great architecture (warm color tones, lovely windows and sitting areas) and a fully stocked modern kitchen. ww loved the place and would return.

    Nivia2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding ! The house is lovely, tastefully decorated and well situated near parks, ski resorts and other activities. Very well-equipped kitchen stocked with top quality coffee, tea, etc . Beth is the all time best host we have encounter, arranging a few personal extras for my birthday and offering extra nights free. My highest recommendation.

    Martin2019-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Beth’s accommodations were beautiful, probably the nicest airbnb I have seen. It was spotless and had many amenities. She truly has thought of everything, right down to the umbrellas by the kitchen door. We enjoyed sitting outside when we could, and used the gas grill which my husband loved! The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in - I want one for my own house! The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom setup worked perfectly for us as we were 2 couples. Beth went out of her way to provide us with area information. Dinner at the River’s Edge Cafe was very nice. If you plan to eat in, be sure to bring food with you, as it is quite a ways for a full grocery store. I highly recommend Fernwalk for an enjoyable stay!

    Lisa2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Fernwalk Cottage was a wonderful experience for a quiet getaway!! It is located on a mostly residential street, so having Hartzell House right next door was very helpful. The proprietors Kitty and David were very helpful and quick to respond to anything we needed. And their cooking is amazing, not to be missed!! Fernwalk is a beautiful, recently renovated home boasting many eco-friendly updates. The kitchen is fully equipped, we didn’t find anything missing we needed. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area

    Angela2017-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • This house is very nice. Extremely well decorated, very clean, and just very pleasant overall inside and out. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and dishes which offset the fact that it is a bit of a drive to restaurants in the area. I would definitely stay here again. Beth was very easy to work with throughout.

    Kathleen2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time at Fernwalk, it exceeded our expectations. The cozy house has been impeccably renovated down to the last little detail. The gorgeous kitchen had all the amenities of home plus more. We enjoyed our time on the deck as well as the side porch furnished with rocking chairs. Our hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming and were available if we had any questions. Breakfast at the B&B is not to be missed! Thank you Beth, Kitty and David, we will definitely be back!

The Treehouse sits on the banks of the Yough River at the end of a dead end road but close to town. The home sleeps up to 6. It features an open floor plan, large riverside deck, hot tub and landscaped fire pit area. The Treehouse is peaceful and relaxing.
  • We had a couples getaway and we couldn’t all be happier. The house was immaculate and neat. Having linens and towels is always a plus! The fire pit and hot tub were a hit! Kara was well accommodating and the communication was great. You will have no worries if you stay here at the river house!

    Suzen2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome stay! The hot tub was wonderful! We hung out in the hot tub while it snowed and looked over the water and trees. Be careful if its wet out, the little bridge gets slippery. The place was so cute and clean. It was easy to get in and clear instructions. Would go again!

  • We had a lovely time celebrating the holidays at the Treehouse! It is a beautiful home in a quiet and peaceful setting. Hanna House Bed and Breakfast, a 19th century farmstead nestled in Pennsylvania's Laurel Highlands, is conveniently located near Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail, the Flight 93 National Memorial and much more. We offer a full breakfast, spacious common areas, complimentary shuttle service to Confluence and much more.
Built in the vernacular “four over four” design by the Scotch-Irish Hanna family, the Hanna House pre-Civil War farmstead is a significant example of a nineteenth century agricultural complex. The Hanna Family began building their impressive country home in 1872 and finished in the year 1887. Unlike many early Pennsylvania homes whose architectural integrity has been compromised over time, Hanna House has retained its authenticity for more than one hundred years... Just as it was.
Hanna house is located in Confluence, Pennsylvania, United States. It takes 51 minutes to drive to Greater Cumberland Regional Airport. It takes 41 minutes to drive to Somerset County Airport.

We had to leave very early in the morning and Frances went out of her way to prepare a sumptuous departure breakfast at five thirty in the morning. We will certainly be back. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

  • Lorraine’s cottage is great—very spacious, clean, recently renovated, and charmingly decorated. Although we didn’t do any cooking, the kitchen is large and seemed well-stocked. There’s also a big front porch and fire pit. The only thing was that Confluence is a little too quiet and remote for our needs.

    Stephanie2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Lorraine's place is wonderful. We could not have been more comfortable or had a better time. Hope to stay there again in the future!

From the exceptionally clean home, to comfy beds, to everything you could ever need. Within walking/biking distance of the trails and a short drive to the yough lake were already planning our next trip!

    Amanda2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is sweet, cozy and clean- a perfect place for a couple (or two) to get away. You'll find plenty of "extras," including a good hiking trail map, bottled water, and a pretty good selection of nostalgic movies. We brought our dogs and had a really relaxing get-away.

    Terese2019-02-18T00:00:00Z

The Turkeyfoot Inn is a beautifully decorated rustic first floor apartment. The bedroom has a queen bed and the living room has two foldout sofas. There is a flat screen tv and dvd player and Netflix available. There is a full bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. We are located close to everything in town and you can walk or ride your bicycle to just about anything you want to do. Free convenient parking on site.
What makes my property special is the spacious deck with a view of the three rivers which come together at the corner of the property. The deck is shared but you do have your own private deck, outdoor table and gas grill that is not shared. We are within safe walking and biking distance of everything in town. If you love kayaking you can get on the water without driving to another location. The road to the Allegheny Passage bike trail is not far and very safe.
The neighborhood has everything you will need within walking or bicycling distance. We also have two very nice restaurants a few blocks from the Inn.

    Ryan2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Very clean and exactly like the description. The house is directly across from a railroad and you do notice the trains; however, it was not bad as I imagined it would be. Diana did have earplugs available but the noise did not bother us enough to have to use them. There’s not many choices of places to eat but would recommend Lucky Dog’s for lunch/dinner and Mitch’s Cafe for breakfast. Both had good food and were very reasonably priced. They are also close to the house. Overall, the house was exactly what we were looking for and we enjoyed our stay and will probably stay there again next year!

Beautiful view of what George Washington referred to as The Turkeyfoot. It is the confluence of three rivers. Newly remodeled, and also has a spacious deck for your enjoyment. Second story balcony that probably has the best view in Confluence. Great for sitting out with your morning cup of coffee or a nice glass of wine in the evening. Kitchen is fully operational with all of the necessities, even coffee, tea and sugar. Just to be clear this apartment is totally private nothing is share.
This space has 2 bedrooms but no livingroom. It does have a large bedroom with a flat screen television and a dvd player. This apartment has a spectacular view of the rivers and the surrounding mountains even more so than before since we added a second story balcony right outside of the kitchen. This balcony will give you an amazing view and privacy. Pictures will be available soon.
The neighborhood is quite unique in that it has a multitude of outdoor activities at you fingertips.
  • Great place to stay for the weekend if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. A short trip away from Seven Springs resort in a nice quiet town.

For the outdoor lover who wants to hear the river roaring through the night and enjoy their morning coffee along the edge of the water will be IN LOVE with Cottage on the Creek! Large back yard and flagstone patio, coupled with awesome native stone firepit and an outdoor shower complete the outdoor living for this cottage. Enjoy your evening around the dining table taking in the gorgeous forest and listening to Mill Run roar by.
Healthy, level hike or a short drive and you find yourself at the public beach at Yough Lake, offering picnic tables, grills, and expansive lake views. An easy 25 minute drive and you can easily be at Deep Creek Lake Resort or Nemacolin Resort in nearby PA. Great central, but private, setting for your excursions

The area is beautiful. We visited Fallingwater and hiked in the Ohiopyle State Park (a scenic 30 minutes away). Altogether, a very enjoyable getaway!

  • This is a great place for two people to enjoy the serenity of the countryside. I loved sitting on the porch and watching the gold finches, bunnies, hummingbirds, and the mountains in the distance.

  • Nice private cabin with easy check-in and check-out.

    Brian2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was solid construction, clean inside and out everything worked. The loft is cute and would work for kids or some adventurous adults that just wanted to crash. Amenities outside were great with the grill, fire pit and picnic table. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the sunset from the bench rocker on the front porch after a great day shredding on the river. Would recommend this place to anyone

The Stonehouse sits on the banks of the Casselman River at the Confluence with Laurel Hill Creek and the Youghiogheny River. The home sleeps up to 10. The home is newly renovated but the charms of the 1920 built home remain. Features include hardwood floors, open floor plan, propane fireplace, relaxing porch, hot tub and a large yard with a fire pit.
  • Just rented this space for a ski trip with some friends. The place was wonderful and clean. The hottub was especially wonderful for a soak after a day on the slopes. Kara was also very responsive with any questions we had and was very helpful.

  • I appreciate everything about our trip. The house was lovely, cozy and all of my friends absolutely loved the house and we are very eager to book with you again. River house and treehouse looks like houses we wanna stay at too but I think Stone house stole all of our hearts. From the girls being enamored by the hot tub to us making s’mores around the fire pit we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Kara.

    Samuel2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Kara’s place was clean, cozy, pretty with the snow. It was well equipped with kitchen ware. It was 40 minutes from the ski area, Seven Springs.

    Betsy2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Kara's place was great! Cool location and the hot tub overlooking the river was awesome! I enjoyed the trains going by, as well! The house is beautiful and has a Ton of room!! Fantastic kitchen, with everything you need to cook your own meals! We were skiing at Seven Springs and it was about a 30 minute drive there. Had six people and a seventh that joined us for one night. Very comfortable! An old house with modern amenities. Keypad entry and a well organized information binder. Hope to stay there again!

    James2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautifully renovated home with loads of character! Plenty of space, comfortable beds.

  • This place was awesome; would definitely book it again!

    Mary2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • The house is terrific! It’s old but very well maintained with modern furnishings. The tile in the bathrooms is gorgeous! The house has lots of room for large gatherings and a well equipped kitchen. We loved our morning coffee on the porch and my husband enjoyed the occasional train crossing the river. We traveled to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Water and a winery along with hiking around Ohiopyle. Great location for all activities. Great place and highly recommend this house and Kara was a great hostess.

    Angie2019-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • Place was just as advertised. Nice tv with a sectional couch to hang out and play video games, dining area to drink and play board games, kitchen with everything we needed to prepare our meals, numerous bathrooms, sweet hot tub off of the back porch looking out on the river, and enough rooms and beds to accommodate all five of us. Kara was quick to respond to messages. Railroad tracks across the river; be warned, they come often. I didn't personally find this distracting but another review I saw apparently did. About 40 minutes away from Seven Springs.

Welcome to our gorgeous home! Located a one minute drive from the Youghiogheny Lake, this home is perfect for couples, families, and big groups.
Our home is nestled quietly into the woods, making it the ideal spot for a retreat from it all. We have two bedrooms with California King beds as well a loft area with another California King and a Queen bed as well as extra air mattresses. A fully stocked kitchen, bathroom and living room will be waiting for you as well. While you stay, be sure to take full advantage of the huge yard and fire pit. The property is a 1 minute drive or 5 minute walk from a campground on the lake that offers day passes for beach access, paddle-boat rentals, boat dock slip rentals and more. This is the perfect property for a summer retreat or to stage for early morning hunting or skiing trips. The house is also just thirty minutes from Seven Springs Ski Resort, bicycling and white water rafting at Ohiopyle, and the famous Falling Water house by Frank Lloyd Wright.
The neighborhood is mostly vacation homes. Our house is extremely private, so you don't need to worry. We recommend you bring everything you need for your stay as there are not a ton of shopping options nearby. If you do find that you need a few items, there is a grocery store and a few restaurants in the town of Confluence, which is about 15 mins from the house. The house is also just about 30 mins from Seven Spring Ski resort, 35 minutes to Wisp Ski Resort, and only 20 mins from Ohiopyle which offers beautiful bicycle trails and white water rafting/kayaking.
  • Clean, spacious, modern and secluded cabin in the mountains. Perfect for wknd getaway from the city.

  • My daughters and I stayed here for our yearly summer trip to Ohiopyle. Loved the peace and quiet, no wifi and extended range (1x) cell service - aka, almost no cell service (Verizon). None of us were on electronics or watching TV. Good ol fashion Monopoly with a whole lot of laughter. The kitchen is nicely equipped for cooking along with a conveniently located firepit just off of the patio. Fire-roasting hot dogs while toasting the bread in the oven. Chris was quick & kind with his responses, the place was clean and spacious, plenty of things like paper towels, games...etc. Gorgeous 20 min drive to Ohiopyle as well. I'd gladly retreat here again!

Beautiful first floor apartment with one bedroom a big screen TV a full kitchen and beautiful dining room. The living room has two daybeds so you can sleep four. The River View Room also has a private porch and sitting area. This apartment is not shared with anybody.
This space has the best of everything, a beautiful well equipped kitchen a lovely dining room and also the convenience of the outdoor kitchen and a covered porch. A great view of the Turkeyfoot which is the confluence of the three rivers. Plus a private outdoor space and sitting area with the best view in town.
Confluence is a very nice little community with everything you need for a nice outdoor vacation. Rivers, lakes, nice restaurants and an amazing bike trail. We also have a nice little grocery store if you don't want to bring a lot of groceries with you. You can easily buy whatever you need in town, and it's only a few blocks from the Inn.
  • Found the place to be very nice great views of 3 rivers and not far from all the local attractions. The town is small and quiet. Kitchen was nice and had plenty of things to cook with great out door area to chill and cook on the grill.

  • Beautiful, clean apartment in a peaceful setting. Diana is a very accommodating host.

    Elizabeth2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time! It’s such a cute small town area! The house was super clean and nice! We enjoyed our stay!

  • Diana’s place was great! Everything was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the view is amazing! There is a large deck where you can grill, sit by the fire pit, dine, and just relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Diana was very responsive and nice.

    Kristen2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay here! The space was well-decorated, comfortable, and spotless. Beautiful view of the river. Diana was kind and communicative. We hope to come back again!

    Rachel2018-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and up-to-date. I stayed in the room room sounds like a brand new place. The train goes by i’m number of times during the day, but I do not recall it doing so in the evening or overnight, if it did I not notice. Diana is also very courteous and thoughtful.

    Attila2018-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Nice space with great deck overlooking the river. Space was perfect for my needs. I may be unique, but the train noise didn't bother me at all.

    Eric2018-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Diana was great with her communications, very responsive; we didn't really know when we will arrive (we had a long drive) and she was happy to accommodate anytime. We ended up arriving after 10:15 pm and she was there to greet us. Unfortunately our stay was very short since we have to leave by 730am! We didn't get to enjoy much the beautiful setting others had described. It was a very cute town, I wish we had more time. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and clean. There is a ceiling fan which kept the room at a nice temperature. The FLW Fallingwater (FW) tour was wonderful, if we ever come back, we will pick a different season and we will definitely stay here again. It was a 20-25 minute drive in the morning which help cut our initial drive shorter plus there is really no place to stay near the FW - this was a great find! Would be a good home base if you are exploring the Ohiopyle State Park, we only got to drive through it and made a quick stop. Everything was as described, even the train, but it's not an issue, she left ear plugs by the bed in case we needed them. Thank you Diana!

The Turkeyfoot Lodge is a newly remodeled 1890's home with old home charm and a view that cannot be beat. We are close to all outdoor activities and all conveniences. The Inn is within walking distance of all stores and restaurants. Our outdoor kitchen is great for an early morning cup of coffee or an enjoyable lunch or dinner. You can walk to the river for a little fishing or a swim or take a short bike ride to the Allegheny Passage bike trail. The perfect spot for those who love the outdoors.
My place is unique because it has the all around best view in Confluence from the largest deck in town. It is also very conveniently located to all things in town and the bike trail. If you like to fish the river is right out the back door. The lodge is totally private nothing is shared inside the lodge.
There is a little of everything in town. A nice little grocery store and my favorite restaurant The Rivers Edge cafe. Lucky dog is another unique restaurant. The train does pass close by. To some it's nostalgic to others annoying. Great little town for those looking for some outdoor enjoyment.
  • Enjoyed our stay and the house was exactly as described.

    Brandon2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • House was beautiful and large enough to accommodate our whole family of 8 adults and kids with room to spare. We will definitely look to return for future ski trips. 35 minutes from seven springs and hidden valley ski areas. Train runs across the street day and night but didnt bother us to much. The kids loved it though.

This property is a must stay for the Ohiopyle region!

The house was very clean with a full kitchen and a great outdoor space. Diana gave helpful tips about the town and responded very quickly to all my questions. Overall, the stay was a great experience and will be staying again in the future. Thank you for everything!

  • This was my first time actually booking an AirBnB & boy was it a great experience. The hosts were so nice & helpful. We had a private entrance to the place & walked in to a beautifully decorated, cozy, & sparkling clean place. Don’t get me started on the views as well 😍 we had so much space & we played pool for hours. This place had everything we needed & then some. We were also greeted with a cute welcome basket! I highly recommend this AirBnB who wants to get away & stay somewhere in complete serenity. I would love to come back in the summer & take full advantage of the lake that is nearby! 10/10

The queen size mattress has been voted very comfortable by our friends who tested the room for us. The Treetop Room is one of two guest rooms in the west wing that we have listed on AirBnB. Room is equipped with clean sheets, hypoallergenic pillows (4) and comforter, ceiling fan, portable air conditioning unit, sound machine, extra blanket, kleenex, jar of filtered water and glasses, and ear plugs. Towels and washclothes are located in the shared bath. At the top of the stairs is a large sunroom -- perfect for relaxation, reading a book, eating a meal, savoring a cup of coffee or tea (provided). Other common areas include library, living room, kitchen, and dining room. We are an eight minute bike ride (.8 of a mile) from the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) Trail in Confluence, 26 minutes (15 miles) by car to Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and 23 minutes (13 miles) to his later home, Kentuck Knob.
  • Tissue Farm is an interesting and inspiring destination. The rooms are situated in a cosy apartment above a developing art space - perfect for artists and travellers. The room was clean and cozy with a *very* comfortable bed and lovely linens. There is a very cute shared kitchen and dining area. Suzanne and Pope are attentive and thoughtful hosts. They're available for whatever is needed (whether great coffee in the morning or local history and tips) but they also give guests plenty of privacy. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

    Kate2020-01-03T00:00:00Z

They had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area! The room was very comfortable, and had everything we needed. There are freight trains that run regularly near the building. The noise didn't bother us, but just in case you're a lighter sleeper, Suzanne and Pope provide earplugs and a white noise/sound machine in the room. I would absolutely stay here again.

  • While the space absolutley met our expectations in terms of location, hospitality, and cleanliness , what really got us was the artfulness, unique space and attention to the smaller details - highly recommend! P.S. great morning coffee!

  • It’s a small Bungalow beside another cabin where you can just stay and relax in with your friends and family. I definitely recommend it if you have a smaller group who want something intimate and chill ✨ Since it’s away from the city you could definitely just cook your own food and enjoy being indoors.

  • Hanna House is such a lovely place and Frances is an even lovelier person. I enjoyed everything about my overnight stopover while biking the GAP. The house itself is gorgeous and comfortable and Hanna herself is a fantastic and unique host. Just one of those souls that you know you'll remember for a very long time to come. I really hope to get back to this area and would love to stay here again.

  • Frances has a beautiful home. The room was perfect after a long day on the trail. My father injured his knee and needed transportation to our next stop on the GAP. Frances got right on the phone and made a call to Larry. Breakfast was excellent, especially the mango and asparagus. I would stay here again!
