We can only recommend this place - it was one of our greatest Airbnb experiences. Kim and Bobby are so warm hosts! The house and the room are lovingly furnished (as can be seen in the photos). This is a top tier Airbnb! Everything was absolutely perfect! Private space with your own bathroom and fridge and microwave. But the whole house is very welcoming and so are Kim and Bobby! I just loved the super unique decor. The setting is beautiful! I was even greeted by four cranes on the lawn when I arrived! Don’t pass up a chance to stay here. I can’t wait to return! (Oh AND the bed is extremely comfortable!)

Ashley's cottage was a perfect fit for my husband and I. We enjoyed sitting on the dock in the two lounge chairs to watch the ducks swim in the lake. The cottage had everything we needed and some surprises like coffee and chocolate - very thoughtful! The cottage was clean, cozy, and super cute. Ashley communicated within minutes and made sure we knew she was there if we needed anything. She was gracious in making adjustments to our reservation due to an unexpected medical emergency. If in Mt. Dora again, we will definitely choose this cottage! Thank you Ashley.

Birders delight! We were greeted by 2 red shouldered hawks and the neighborhood coots had coffee with us every morning. The space is LITERALLY on the lake and it was so peaceful. We had big plans to travel and kayak while we were there and found our mornings being more lax. This is a great getaway for 2. 20 minutes from Kings Landing and Wekiva springs. Ashley and her husband were friendly but gave us all the privacy we needed to feel right at home. Thanks again and we will DEF be back

Me and my friend rented the cabin for a weekend to catch up, and we loved it! The amount of wildlife we saw was amazing, we got up early in the morning to take photographs. The house itself was lovely, though our favorite part was the porch! It was a trip to remember and hopefully we will return in the future. :)

Ashley made a personal touch for our anniversary! It was so awesome to walk in to a sign and some chocolates, we loved her little home, the view was great! The house had everything you needed including coffee, WiFi, waters and tips where to eat! Only 10 mins from town it was a perfect sanctuary for our anniversary! Thank you ❤️

We loved everything about the cottage. It was absolutely adorable and immaculately clean. The bed was super comfy, sheets and towels seemed brand new. Ashley provides so many amenities- from shampoo and body wash to coffee with creamer and sweeteners. The location is serene and beautiful yet minutes to downtown. Ashley is quick to respond to questions as well. We will definitely be back.

The long driveway to The Fog built my anticipation. The simple odd-shaped house intrigued me. Patrice was welcoming and chatty as she shared the ingenious house/barn with us. Our small room and spotlessly clean bathroom were exactly what an overnight stay required. Out the bathroom window we could see the stall of her horse! She invited us to meet her horse and goat all bundled in their winter blankets. The closet was loaded with family board games for our use. Patrice prepared coffee and well wishes as we left in the morning. I would definitely return to this place and recommend it to friends.

This is no ordinary travel trailer, it's a mini home filled with personal touches designed for guests comfort. Kathy goes beyond the norm to guarantee a great experience. From the fresh flowers and bottle of wine on arrival to superior amenities and fast responses to all inquiries and concerns, you can't help but have a wonderful stay. I would recommend the Happy Camper to family and friends and plan to book this site for future visits to the area. Kathy has definitely earned her super host status!

It was perfect for what we needed.

The space is small (which was expected), but just what was needed for the perfect 4th of July weekend get away. Kathy added some much appreciated welcoming touches & fresh flowers (thank you so much!). Although we always bring our own, the additional sheet provided as a couch cover for pets was an added plus. Best of all, the AC is super cold and there is plenty of super hot water. The location of the Happy Camper/trailer is convenient to everything, and is in an RV park which was not overly crowed. The peace and quiet of the area was perfect. Only two small items that were not a plus, but nothing that's a deal breaker for the stay (and yes, we plan on returning): 1. The awning of the camper is zip tied shut, so there is no shade or covering from rain, if you want to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather. 2. Just make sure that you park under the tree closest to the stop sign, otherwise the pine tree drips "pine sap" on your vehicle and it's extremely hard to remove. Eustis, Tavares, Leesburg and Mt. Dora are such beautiful little towns with breath taking parks and there are numerous weekend events. The "Combat Cafe" is a Veteran owned/operated breakfast/lunch cafe, less than a mile away, which is a must (we always love to support local small businesses).

The Happy Camper is a great place. I went on a quiet weekend but I heard that it’s usually bustling with activity. I would recommend it to someone who is going out and about sightseeing but not for an unplugged getaway.

Walk in and its just perfect for 1 or 2 people. The bed was comfy. Everything was clean. There was WiFi, snacks, water in the fridge. The whole experience was wonderful.

Lovely space. Perfect price for a cute little camper for 2. We had a great time. The hot tub and pool facilities on property we very nice. Kathy even left us goodies that made the experience even more wonderful.

This was an excellent experience. Amy has a beautiful home with beautiful landscaping, a gorgeous pool right outside the studio suite windows, and a lovely lake that you can watch the sunrise through your huge gorgeous wall of windows. The actual studio suite is just lovely! It has high ceilings, is decorated beautifully, and is sparkling clean. The bed is super comfy. There is central heating and air-conditioning, but there is also a unit in the studio for guests to make changes for their own comfort if needed. Amy is extremely nice and responsive. She and her husband were superior hosts. I had a wonderful time. I was able to visit with parents but was close enough to Orlando to drive down for the day, which we did several times. It’s also very close to the Villages. The countryside was really pretty with Live oaks snd Spanish moss and orange tree groves abounding. If I come down next year to visit my parents, I would definitely stay with Amy.

Staying at the guesthouse at Waterfront and Horses, in Umatilla, with Amy and Jamie as our hosts was a delightful experience😊 My husband and I thoroughly enjoy visiting Mount Dora, but we wanted to rent a place for 4-5 days that was nearby and allowed us to relax, read, grill, walk and fish. This awesome and serene spot exceeded our expectations, enjoying every minute of our stay. The views in every direction of this well-maintained property are stunning 😊👍

An absolute must stay!

The guest house was perfect for what I needed during a "work weekend". It was quiet, relaxing, restful, the bed was very comfortable, and the location was easy to find, although off the beaten path a bit. Wish I could have stayed longer than 2 nights! The accommodations were very clean, decorated beautifully and spacious. I recommend highly!

This is a lovely place! The accommodations are nicely appointed and neat! The surrounding grounds are beautifully kept and sunrise over the lake is worth getting up for- if you haven’t stayed up too long at the cozy outdoor fire pit on the patio ! Jamie and Amy are lovely folks! But it’s Pepper the Gypsy Fanner horse and the goats and pigs that you must pay a visit to before you depart!

Serene. And Beautiful! Extremely Clean and fantastic decor. Had all the amenities you need. Waking up to that view and sitting in the garden watching the mist over the lake was breathtaking. Amy even went above and beyond to give us chocolates and a thoughtful card for our wedding night. Wouldnt have picked any place to celebrate this occasion. Her b n b was just what we needed for a good nights rest. We will definitely be back!

I personally didn’t stay at Andrew’s place - the reservation was for my cousin who needed a place near his weekend job. He stayed for one night and said that the room was very comfortable and clean - slept like a baby. He said Andrew was very respectful, kind and chilled. Definitely recommended!

Beautiful camping spots directly at the pond or next to the horse paddock. Countless opportunities for trips in the area. Shops and restaurants nearby. Dian and Mark were very nice and helpful with everything.

This ranch is in a beautiful location on a small pond with gorgeous birds and horses grazing nearby. The hosts were responsive and gracious.

Kathy‘s tiny house is a wonderful place to stay at Mount Dora. We would have liked to take it with us for our further trip around Florida, but unfortunately Kathy had to deny this... ;-) Kathy is a wonderful hostess, and a very nice person. She always offered her help when she noticed that we might need it. We really enjoyed the time we spend there! Especially we loved to wake up in the morning and keep on laying on our bed and watching the trees and the blue skies and listening to the birds through the big windows surrounding us. :-) Thanks so much Kathy, we will definitely be back when we return to Mount Dora! This is the perfect tiny house vacation! An Escape Boho Tiny House Vacation in Mt. Dora, super clean, comfortable, and private. You get your own fence, all windows have blinds, and in a nice neighborhood. I had a wonderful night there, slept very comfortably, wouldn't hesitate to come back and recommend it to others! This tiny house is the perfect place to stay when visiting Mount Dora. The owner Kathy has created a wonderful, private space for you to relax and enjoy the quaint little town. We arrived late on a Friday night. A parking spot was saved for us under a little awning in the driveway. A cart on wheels already out for us to use. Kathy also came out to say hello and welcome us. She was very kind and welcoming and let us know that anything we need, we can let her know. We walked though a gate into a private fenced off area of Kathy’s yard that held the tiny home along with a tastefully decorated outdoor area. The key was already in the door so we went in and got settled. We took a quick tour around the grounds. We never used it but there is a small fire pit and a bench behind the tiny home. A perfect spot to enjoy the cooler weather. The tiny home is practically brand new. It was clean and also decorated beautifully. It has everything you need, from a small kitchen with a few items to cook with to a tv hooked up to netflix/Hulu and other streaming services. There are plenty of places to sit and relax in the tiny home but the bed was pretty comfy. Everything was freshly washed and the whole experience was just cozy and comfy. Kathy’s tiny home is located very close to downtown. I’d say less than a 2-minute drive. My girlfriend and I spent our 1-year anniversary here and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you’re looking for a unique, pleasant and welcoming stay near Mount Dora, look no further. Stay in this tiny home!

This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast, and it couldn’t have been better! Donna and Robert are excellent hosts as well as humans! We talked over breakfast and drinks at night, it was such a pleasant experience. Their home is on a very serene property with a gorgeous view of the lake and sunrise. We will be returning in the future to visit them!

Cathy’s place is awesome. Very clean, stylish, comfortable and close to grocery stores, downtown Eustis, food, bars etc. I was in town for a golf tournament at Mission Inn resort and it was an easy 25 minute drive. Hopefully I’ll be back again!

Great place, excellent host.

Expect a spotless cottage on the lake with a comfortable bed, privacy, a nice living space. A small desk to use for your computer and a small table to eat in the kitchen. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, blender pots and pans and cleaning essentials. Nice seating area with a couch and two chairs The bathroom shower has great shower pressure and a robe if you need after the shower. The whole place is warm and inviting and we enjoyed meeting our host. He was helpful with local restaurants. A one mile easy walk to downtown Mt Dora or a quick car ride to Tavares.

As an Airbnb host and frequent guest around the world, my expectations are high. Bradley and Gary completely wowed me with their Casa Marigold experience. Everything was high-end, stylish and comfortable. La Casa helped me unwind and I had the personal retreat I've been dreaming of.

Casa Marigold is beautifully appointed with many personal touches. It is a delightful cottage and Bradley is most welcoming and helpful. The cottage has everything guests would need to have a memorable stay.

Thank you Brad, This was the best we have found in Mount Dora. Our home away from home. Comfortable and clean in every way. Loved having a mini kitchen so we didn't have to eat out all the time. The location is very good. Easy, simple check in and out. Parking was perfect! No stairs or hills to climb. Everything you could ask for and more. Big screen TV with lots of options for viewing pleasure. Hope to come back next year.

My stay at Angie’s tiny home was wonderful. The area this place is located in is very peaceful and this place was perfect for me. The hosts were easily accessible and the place itself was very clean and comfortable. I absolutely would stay here again and I highly recommend this place to anyone reading this.

A great place for our weekend getaway. Angie personalized a binder for us with local restaurants and things to do. We really appreciated the snacks and coffee. The tiny house had everything we could need and more. We enjoyed our view from the back patio and from inside the living area.

Angie is a spectacular host! The place was immaculate and just right for my husband and I for the weekend. The vibe of the house is so warm and cozy but clean and open at the same time. The little decor pieces create a warmth and comfort that most rentals just don't provide. The door code made checking in and out easier than I could have imagined. She left us some protein bars and oranges and the most delicious coffee with organic cream. Little details that just add icing to the cake. We will definitely rent from Angie again next time we want to spend a weekend at the springs. Highly recommend!

Quiet, beautiful neighborhood, immaculate housing and grounds. Tommy is a people person, engaging and truly cares about the guests he welcomes to his property. He’s truly an old school ‘renaissance’ man with a few modern upgrades, like the rest of ‘us’ 50+ plusers. LoL. I’ve made a friend, who I hope to visit soon and for more time. If you’re not a respectful, people person, do not stay here. All others will enjoy Tommy and his property.

It was wonderful having Tommy as a host. The place had everything we needed, plus more. Even a hairdryer with a diffuser! Extra blankets, towels, HUGE fridge, dishes, tupperware, shampoo and the list goes on. This was my first AirBNB and after this stay, I don't know if I'll stay in a hotel again. I slept so well in a clean, quiet, home setting. No noisey people in the other room or ruckus in the hallways like some of my past hotel stays. Tommy was a very kind man that takes very well care of his home. The bonus, Smokey the guard cat. So friendly and loving, but will let you be if you're not into cats. He never goes into the pool house and though I am allergic to cats, I had no issues. Our family ended up searching for him so we could pet him. Speaking of family, I was iffy on renting someone's home due to having a child. As soon as I met Tommy, that fear went away instantly. He was warm and welcoming to us all. Thank you Tommy. I hope you have a great New Year.

Tommys place was absolutely amazing. Better than pictures showed. The price for the facility was very good. The location is centrally located for the Leesburg and Mt. Dora area. The host's welcome and helpful hints about the area were great. Definitely will return to do some boating and touring the area.

Where to begin. Our stay at Tommy's Lake House was amazing. Tommy's place is beyond clean, everything was spotless and organized. You have everything you need and the space is cozy, unique, and beautiful! The view of his lovey pool is stunning and the neighborhood is quiet and situated around a gorgeous lake! Tommy himself is BEYOND kind, accommodating, and friendly. He welcomed us with open arms: showing us the property, giving us local tips, and welcoming friendly conversation. We couldn't believe how well kept, and stunning he kept the entire property. We slept comfortably and were pleasantly surprised by the availability of toiletries, coffee, and extra bedding! We only wish we could have stayed longer to share more time with Tommy and his exceptional place. If I could give this rental over 5 stars I would! Thanks, Tommy- God bless!

The Owner (Tommy) is a perfect host, very friendly and obliging down to earth gentleman... and his cat is gorgeous :-) The Poolhouse is extremely quiet and comfortable for up to four persons (two couples) with more than enough space for everyone... The neighborhood is lovely and perfect for explorations of the nature. But beware of the alligators at the ponds :-)

The cottage is cozy, super clean and inviting. It also is located in a pretty area. The frig was stocked with bottled water and they gave us plenty of coffee. Our hosts were warm and inviting and made us feel very welcome. I have family in the area and I will definitely stay here again.

This cute little cottage is a great place to stay while vacationing in Florida! It is very clean, has nice thoughtful touches like a Keurig with coffee pods in the room, and Cassandra is great at communicating in a timely manner and helping with whatever you need!

Cassandra was a super host. We had a bowl of sweets waiting for us and a bottle of Perrier. Her place is clean, the bed is comfortable and there is a full kitchen to cook in to cut back on food costs. Loved it and plan on coming back.

A wonderful Florida hideaway! Make sure you actually contact the host to get the correct lockbox codes for door and gate! No TV or microwave but they have WiFi. Very close to Eustis and Leesburg!

Mary Kathryn is a great host. Very quick to respond. She checked in on us often to make sure we weren’t needing anything. If you’re looking for a getaway this is the place you should go. Her home is beautiful. The view is amazing. Hearing the chickens and rooster in the mornings made our stay that much better. Would definitely stay at Mary Kathryns place again.

WAY BETTER THAN ANY HOTEL! Mary's place is on a beautiful piece of property. the bed was really comfortable and spacious room. she had an answer to every question we had. there was a few rough patches but nothing she could control. we would absolutely go back!

This was a wonderful place to stay the bed was absolutely amazing phenomenal mattress very comfortable with coffee pots and refrigerator. There was a beautiful pool and hot tub. Very very private. We will book there again for sure.

No frills, cute and cozy cottage to get away. We used it to be near family we had in the area. It's about 15 minutes from the popular Mt Dora area. Had a minor issue, but Don't was quick to resolve it. Very easy check-in.

The Buttercup Cottage was a perfect little space. It was quiet and Patty was always seeing if there was anything we needed and asking about our stay. They are great hosts! I would highly recommend.

The beds! Incredibly comfortable, as were the pillows & the worlds softest blanket. My bf swears they were lavender scented. I love my bed at home until now. ...Property was spotless, safe, quiet. (& cute!) Very tasty coffee (& sugar/creamer;) provided with a very fast machine. Torani vanilla,Yum! We were set up at an antique show. Long hot days & this was a wonderful, cozy place to end the day. Huge screened in porch set up like a room. Quality tv. Mini split kept the temps perfect. Quick response to questions. So, most important when away from home for work: easy access to coffee & quality beds. Patty has done a fabulous job! (I like the 3-D book. Haven’t seen that one in awhile. I still laugh making them run fast.)

Adorable cottage just as pictured. Super comfy bed, good coffee, and peaceful location. When there was an unseasonable chill in the air, the hosts graciously provided extra blankets. Perfect location for Mount Dora Acoustic Music Festival and easy access to downtown. Great stay!

Expect a clean, cozy cottage. Beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds. Thoughtful touches especially appreciated were coffee, lots of soft fluffy towels and a motion activated light that completely illuminated the carport at night. Excellent response time from hosts.

We booked troy’s sweet lil jungle oasis last minute and we were so pleased! A block from the lake and so peaceful. We loved how pet friendly it was!

Troy's cottage is a fabulous find for a stay in Mt Dora. The place is just as advertised and it's good reviews more than justified. Troy kindly agreed to a late check out. The cottage is cutley decorated and the path up to the cottage is well lit with lanterns and fairy lights. It is a short drive to both the centre of Mt Dora and Tavares. I'd highly recommend staying here.

We loved our month at the “Key West Cottage”! Troy and Scott went above And beyond to make sure we had a great time. We enjoyed ourselves so much we plan on returning!

Cute private cottage. Funky colourful interior. We stayed there to ride bikes for a week around Mount Dora. Loved the rainbow eggs. Loved the garden and the tropical setting. The porch was great for outdoor eating. Cats are also super cute. Troy was very helpfu and communicative. I was in town for a wedding at the Sydonie Mansion. It was about a 12-15 minute drive away, so it was super easy to go back and forth. The space was super clean, cute and ultimately just what I needed for a quick one night stay. I would definitely recommend this to people staying in the area for a weekend getaway!

We had a great stay at Brittany and Michael's place! Check in was a breeze and it was nice to have a private space to relax. The coffee maker, Netflix and mini-fridge were nice little extras. The highlight had to be seeing Puddles and Forest wandering around the yard in the morning. A very quiet, relaxing place to stay in a beautiful location.

This was such a nice alternative to staying in a hotel - I was here for a week visiting my parents who are in an assisted living facility in Mount Dora. It was easy to find with a GPS (late at night after a long international flight) and checkin was exactly as described. The coffeemaker, fridge and microwave were just right for my stay as I didn't need a kitchen. I appreciated the "welcome home" decor that made this place very welcoming. All in all, perfect for what I needed and much appreciated.

Lakeside feels like you are far away from everything, but most things are within 15 minutes. Accomodations were spotlessly clean and I am so germ phobic! Beds were comfy and room quiet. Donna and Robert are very interesting people too!

I can not say enough wonderful things about our stay with Donna and Robert. From the moment you walk through the door you feel right at home. They treat you like family and even make a lovely breakfast for you. Our stay at their home was perfect. You will not be disappointed booking a room with them.

No one will be disappointed with their visit to this lovely home or spending time with this wonderful couple. Any guest can see the love and care that is invested in the accommodations. You will truly feel like you are at a lake retreat. My Mom and I were in Mt. Dora for a mother-daughter trip and my Mom said here favorite part was staying with Donna and Robert! In addition, there is the added benefit of looking out over the lake the next morning while eating the breakfast that Donna personally prepares for her guests. Being in this home was like being with friends.

Comfy, clean house with nice hosts. Mount Dora is a cute town with one off restaurants. We ate great food at the Goblin restaurant.

Warren and his wife are amazing. They were so welcoming and kind. I stayed there for 6 weeks. Their house is very homey, clean, and beautiful! The room I stayed in was cozy, clean and had everything I needed. Bathroom was always clean. Thank you again!

Warren was a great host. He was friendly and informative. The house was clean and cozy. The bed was comfy. Tea, coffee, cookies, and caramels were waiting for us when we came back from dinner. My daughter and I stayed for 1 night to attend the Renninger’s Extravaganza Antique Market. Not only was the home beautiful and very clean, the drive from the market was only a 10 minute drive. They were great hosts. I’ll be returning soon.

Tara's home is beautiful and very comfortable. Even though there were other guests there we felt like we had the place to ourselves. We had access to the kitchen and all living areas with helpful notes posted throughout the home. I would highly recommend for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Beautiful cozy place near the downtown!

I loved everything about this stay. Mount Dora is a beautiful town with so much to do and see. I was able to walk daily to town from the house. The town has lots of wonderful window shopping, great restaurants, tours of the Dora Canal, pickle ball and tennis, and plenty of nearby trails to hike and bike. Barb and Logan were fantastic and considerate hosts. The house is super cute and has everything and more that you might need. The outside patio area was especially fun. I can’t wait to return.

Waterworks guest house was the perfect place for my stay in Mt Dora exhibiting at the art show. It was sparkling clean, and water, coffee and orange juice were provided, which was great. It is in walking distance to the downtown, which is extremely convenient. The kindness and communication with the hosts was too notch. Can't recommend enough.

Our stay at Water Works could not have been better - we were pleased with the cleanliness, the location and especially the hospitality extended by Logan's grandmother who welcomed us to Mount Dora shortly after we arrived. We, in part, chose Water Works because of the photos on the Air B and B site of the gardens that surround the little house where we stayed - the landscaping was lovely and the gardens so tranquil. We spent time enjoying the gardens both morning and night - the evening around the fire pit was perfect. Barbara, who lives in another house on the same property, was warm and welcoming and very accommodating. Water Works is within walking distance (1/2 mile or so) of downtown Mount Dora and its' many area restaurants, pubs and shops. We often walked after dark and always felt safe. The kitchen was well equipped (though no stove top or oven) and there were extras such as tea bags, coffee and filters, salt and pepper, paper towels and dish soap. We hope to return to Mount Dora to do a little more exploring and we will certainly stay at Water Works again. We can't imagine a nicer place to stay in the area!

Logan’s grandma Barb greeted us and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay in Mt Dora!! The guest suite is immaculately clean and extremely comfortable!! Waking up to the birds chirping and kitty’s playing added to the at Home atmosphere!!
