Valerie couldn't have been more patient, helpful and friendly. I arrived about 6 hours late and she walked me through town and even offered to help me with my family geneology project. I'm encouraging the rest of my family to visit. I only wish I had more time to spend in the area. It's really some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen.

The accommodation is a charming and authentic property which has been nicely modernised, it has a very clean and convenient interior and facilities. It has skylights in the roof which makes it light fresh and airy. It is located in a hamlet with a small church which is a pleasant, quiet and friendly and has an amazing view of the opposite mountain valley, small scattering of houses and the mountains beyond. The nearest local town Bedonia has nice shops, nearby we also found a local spot for swimming and sunbathing by the clear mountain river. The host Suzanne is very helpful and knowledgable on places to visit and dine at in the region. There is a cute family run restaurant nearby in Monta Vaca which we visited and enjoyed very much, visited by local people with nice regional cooking and very reasonable. Overall I would say that Casa Terracotta is extremely good value for money and would highly recommend a stay for anyone!

Even the warm welcome was a highlight of our trip. Suzanne has taken us as long lost family members. The apartment is picturesque and very welcoming. We have felt very comfortable. You do not necessarily walk, to feel at Suzanne on holidays. The bed is big, warm, equipped the kitchen to the most modern. There is extensive information material - and even maps - available. MACHTUrlaub in Lugurien!

We absolutely loved our stay in this cosy holiday home! It has been completely renovated by Suzanne and her husband and is very precisely and beautifully done. It was also one of the cleanest holiday homes we have ever had, it was absolutely spotless when we arrived! Suzanne also compiled a very complete set of information on everything you can do in the wide surroundings. Beautiful drives and undiscovered gems abound, this is really off the beaten track in Italy! The quiet mountain village of Masanti di Sopra is lovely and several beautiful hiking trails pass straight through it, all with spectacular views. The beautiful and super clean river in the valley provides a great place to cool off (but if you'd prefer Bedonia even has a swimming pool). The nearest wifi can be found in Osteria Ponte Lecca 10 min driving in the direction of spectacular Bardi or in the village bars of Ponteceno 10 min driving in the direction of Bedonia. Bedonia, 15-20 min away, has everything a self caterer may need: two reasonably sized supermarkets, bars with wifi, butchers, bakeries, delis, restaurants, an ice cream shop and free wifi at the library. To top it all off Suzanne and her husband are a lovely couple with a very inspiring life story. They are as available as you want them to be, but do have a chat with them! We absolutely recommend staying here!

Perfect hosts. Friendly extremely helpful and allowed us to enjoy our stay. After having problems with our car hire Suzanne and Pete went out of their way to assist us, we cannot fault our stay and we cannot wait to go back to Casa terracotta.

We had a great time close to nature as we went for long walks on castles,on the mountains and near the river. The house is really cosy and ideal for relaxation.Suzanne is very polite and helpful,we totally recommend it for some peace and quiet.

We enjoyed our stay at the Case Terracotta, we met a lovely host (Suzanne) and she was very kind, if we needed her she was right there, and she knows everything in the Parma area. The house is very nice, at day time its hot, but when its night it cools down and you can sleep well. Thank you Suzanne!

John and his family were very kind and discreet, they welcomed us in this wonderful town nestled in an oasis of the WWF. It is far from the town, but with all the comforts of a "modern" but rusticissima house in stone and warm wood. Entering the estate of ghirardi we were lucky enough to see wild animals such as roe deer, deer and even porcupines! Inside the reserve there are beautiful trails and breathtaking hilly landscapes. The house is amazing, it really gives the idea to dive into the past. I hope there will be an opportunity to respond !! Thanks a lot for everything

We spent two nights in accommodation Gregory, with our 10 month old son. We had a wonderful time, the house is beautiful, better still, like the picture, ideal for hide away from everything and enjoy nature. The surroundings are wonderful. The house is very big and very well equipped, it is a good starting point for beautiful walks and allows you to relax. Gregory was very kind, sympathetic and discreet, a real pleasure to know him.

Location fantastica, paesaggio appenninico mozzafiato, casa bella, accogliente, ottimo punto di partenza per escursioni, ideale per famiglie con bimbi, terrazza bellissima da cui ammirare il cielo notturno, e al mattino il saluto lo danno i caprioli sul prato. Assolutamente da ripetere!

The house, located in a WWF park is accessible after a forest road where the route takes about fifteen minutes. The outdoor terrace offers magnificent views of the valley. The interior is simple and functional, the interior cool was greatly appreciated in August! We were greeted by Zoryana and Borys, who were very friendly and we have enjoyed the fruits and vegetables from their garden. The pizzas offered by Zoryana Wednesday evening are to die for!

A great place to stay for a quiet holiday in nature. Everything fits the description, cleanliness is impeccable, the kitchen is well equipped. Tips: - Follow the directions provided by the host and do not rely on Maps - provided you do before you get to the house (the nearest village is about 20 minutes by car).

We had a very pleasant stay in this beautiful house in the countryside. Zoryana Borys and are very welcoming, the place is beautiful, we saw deer and small wild boars from the garden! A true paradise!

Great welcome from Mea that has' done its utmost to make your stay enjoyable. The house is located in a beautiful mountain village, isolated enough to give peace 'that we sought. Children have enjoyed complete freedom '. Special mention to the neighbors, a really unusual kindness. The sites are a paradise, fortunately still relatively little used. We hope to return.
