Paddleboard Cottage is a little gem with wonderful hosts in Nicki & Tom (and family). The cottage is well appointed, clean and cosy and is itself a lovely historic wood beam building. There is a small garden with hot tub where you can soak up the afternoon sun (or rain!) and enjoy the views over the Menai Straight towards Snowdon; our 4yr old simply loved it and it gave us a really lovely family activity to do together at the end of a busy day exploring. Location wise it is great, 10 mins drive from Menai Bridge, so within easy reach of the castles and adventure activities on the mainland but nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of mainland too. The shoreline is 100m from the cottage and at low-tide a large sandbar provides a fab place to exercise the dog and enjoy the space, light and peace (and wind!). There is a lovely church just behind the cottage and coastal walks you can do from the cottage so you don't have to get in the car if you dont want to. 10 mins away is the charming Sea zoo and Foel Farm and Anglesea Salt factory. Whilst we did not have time to explore much of Anglesea we loved all three attractions and they provided a great (and not commercialised) activity to do with our 4yr old. Nice and gentle! Food was great, we ate at Dylans in Menai Bridge which does awesome seafood and the Erskine in Conwy (after a long which served an amazing Sunday roast. All-in-all the cottage, hosts, location and the area gave us 3 amazing days and I highly recommend it!

Despite a wild and wet weekend, we were cosy and warm in the cute and beautifully styled cottage and even a managed some time in the hot tub looking at the gorgeous view over the Menai Straight. We loved our stay at Nicki's place. The little house was very clean and well furnished. The beds in particular were very comfortable. Nicki was extremely helpful and welcoming, without being intrusive. The property is in a lovely location with easy access to most places on the island.

We really enjoyed our stay at Paddleboard Cottage. The cottage itself is great: well-equipped, comfortable and clean, and in a great location for exploring the area. Nicki was really welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were staying there during Storm Ciara and Nicki very kindly braved the elements to come and check we were ok and to see if we needed any supplies to see us through the weather! We would definitely recommend Nicki and Paddleboard Cottage to anyone looking to stay in the area, and are hoping to return ourselves very soon!

Had a great stay with Kathy and Bill. This is a top quality place to stay. We were doing some walking on the Anglesey Coastal Walk and this was a great central location to get out to various parts of the island. Real attention to detail and so much hospitality - will definetly be back even if just for the home made bread and lime marmalade! Thanks again.

This place is must! My husband, 10 month old son and I had the best two nights away! Stunning views and the cottage is spotless and beautifully done. Gorgeous beaches a short drive away! Kathy and Bill are fabulous! The nicest hosts! We will definitely be back!

Great place to escape. Thoroughly enjoyed the secluded location, although it’s close enough to a great fish and chip shop! The hosts were excellent with little touches such as cakes, milk etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a weekend to relax and unwind.

Our stay was perfect. We felt at home as soon as we arrived to Kathy's warm welcome. Kathy had made us some home made bread and provided fresh eggs and some Welsh and Scottish sweet treats too. The cottage itself had absolutely everything we needed, it was cosy and warm and we really enjoyed making use of the log burner in the evening. Kathy gave us loads of really helpful tips on where we should visit on Anglesey. We visited Newbrough beach which was stunning and we ate at Dylan's on the Menai Strait - the food was delightful. My favourite part was waking up in the morning to the stunning view of Snowdonia and listening to the birdsong :) We have already recommended Kathy's place to our family and friends and we hope to visit again in the near future.

Great place and an ideal situation easy to get around and some very interesting places to visit

A wonderful escape into rural peace and quiet! The bed was super comfy, the wood burner kept the barn warm even in the midst of a storm; full of character and we were made to feel very welcome. You would be hard pushed to meet anyone else as warm hearted, with all the rescue animals around. We explored beaches and walked up near Snowdon. A very special place!

What a wonderful stay! Perfect accommodations for our brief time in the area. The carriage house is lovingly restored and very comfortable. David is an incredibly gracious host. If he’s able to cook for you, highly recommend you take him up on the offer. The meal was amazing. Absolutely a very charming experience and recommend without hesitation.

David is a really friendly host, making extra effort to make sure we were comfortable despite very stormy weather e.g. making sure we had logs for the fire, keeping us stocked up with the basics and checking-in every so often to make sure we had everything we needed. We opted in for dinner on one of the nights and it was really lovely Would recommend for anyone looking to have a comfortable stay in Snowdonia, as the place is located perfectly for visiting mount Snowdon and the surrounding areas

Ann's terraced house is a lovely place to stay. The original house is cozy and well equipped . The added conservatory on to the back is facing Snowdonia and if you're lucky you'll have the most amazing view. It is just out of town, but amenities are never far away, neither is the sea. The traffic is not that much, despite being next to the road. The supersize big bed is comfortable and having 2 bathrooms a little luxury. We'd love to come back .

What a lovely find! The photos really don't do this place justice... it's huge, yet warm and cosy. The finishing touches make it incredibly homely, and our host was kind enough to check we were warm enough through the storm. The location was perfect for us, quiet and secluded, with a beach and a chippy only 15 minutes away. We loved it that much, whilst sitting on the sofa, under cosy blankets kindly provided, listening to the fire roaring... we booked again for the summer! Looking forward to our next stay!

A great place to chill and relax with all that you will ever need. We had to stay on while the storm was battering all around and it was so cosy and warm with the log fire burning away. This place is so central for the beach or the inland and would look at coming back anytime, it’s a real surprise when you walk through the door and see how spacious it is. Great caring host who although we never Met was there checking we were ok and all was as we wanted. 5 Stars.

First, the caravan is the cutest and if you're looking for somewhere to stay a little different than your typical Airbnb, don't look any further. It was super clean and with all the equipment needed for a short stay. The little wood stove kept the place warm and the beds were really comfortable. Mike and Joanna are very nice guests and gave lots of local tips.

Mike's place is lovely. He was very helpful and answered any queries immediately. Despite the stormy weather, we were safe and warm in the caravan.

What a amazing hidden gem. We had a amazing time here. Mike as host we couldn't fault, from lighting the fire so it was cosy and warm for our arrival to fresh milk and his own eggs too . If we could give 11 out of 10 we would. Would recommend 1000% and were already looking at our next visit

Perfect place for my wife and two children

There was always good communication from Mike from the moment of booking, he responded quickly to our questions. The accommodation was outstanding and the craftsmanship of Mike is very impressive. We arrived on the day of the worst storm Anglesey had seen for a long time. The place was clean and beautiful. There is everything you could possibly need to be more than comfortable. The fresh eggs from Mike's own chickens was a lovely touch. We had one minor problem which Mike fixed straight away. There was plenty of firewood for the log burner, which Mike replenished straight away on request. The storm howled for 24 hours (it was brilliant) but we were warm, very comfy and safe. Mike had done a wonderful job of the accommodation. His dogs are lovely too. A wonderful place and host. Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely beautiful hut, everything we needed and much more, perfect little getaway, the gypsy hut was spotless, so so snug and cozy. Mike was brilliant, great communication, provided everything we asked for, his home and animals are just beautiful. A fabulous first Airbnb stay. The flat is lovely and only minutes from the beach and access to the Anglesey Coastal Path. Clare was great, with good communication beforehand and clear instructions for check in and in the flat. There’s also lots of guidance on walks, attractions etc. The kitchen had everything I needed, and the Smart TV and decent broadband were most welcome for a winter visit as it was dark at 4pm. All in all a perfect introduction to Airbnb. Thanks Clare, I’ll definitely be back.

Clare’s place was outstanding! Extremely clean and stylish. The apartment is equipped with everything you could need. Perfect location to various shops, pubs & cafes. The beautiful beach is a 2 minute walk. Lovely, secure carpark. Will definitely be staying again!

Our stay in Clares apartment was absolutely amazing. Everything was as described, very clean, modern and in a lovely location for exploring the island. The prosecco in the fridge was a nice touch as it was our anniversary whilst there. We will certainly be back.

We had a lovely stay here! The apartment had plenty of room for me, my husband, our baby and dog. It’s a very modern space in a great location - shops, cafes etc. within walking distance and the beach is right on the doorstep. Clare is really easy to communicate with, providing quick responses and lots of helpful information before we arrived. We hope to return soon.

David and Alicias place is fantastic. We stayed just for one night as a last minute getaway from rainy Stockport. We were not disappointed at all. Very clean space with everything you need. Easy to find from directions. Great space to park the car too. Bed was comfy and easy to pull out before bed. Shower room with underfloor heating was great. Small touches like flowers in the window, biscuit for the dog and the continental breakfast was really more than you could have wished for for the price. We would definitely recommend and stay again. Many thanks for a great stay.

Lovely cosy shepherds hut with friendly host, good facilities and within easy walking distance to a nice sandy beach. Good access to village amenities and a selection of pubs, cafes, and restaurants close by. Lots to do and see on the island with highlights being Newborough Beach and South Stack.

A beautiful Shepard’s hut! Exactly like the picture. It’s a good base if you are wanting to see different parts of Anglesey. Would definitely stay again if we visit Anglesey.

Brilliant hut, brilliant stay Just got back from a fantastic two night stay at Benllech Shepherd’s Hut where we brought in the New Year perfectly. We arrived to a pristine hut, immaculately clean and like we were the first people to stay there. The hosts (Louise and Eric) left some really nice touches for our arrival including fresh flowers, chocolates, prosecco, dog treats and probably a few more things I’ve forgotten. The hut itself is a first class build equipped with log burner and a smart heater. The amenities the hosts have furnished it with are superb. We’ve stayed in quite a few shepherd’s huts before and this is one of the best so far. In terms of location, the hut is ideal. Five minute walk to the high street with pubs, a great fish and chip shop, tesco etc. Five minutes further down and you’re at the beach. Great spot to explore the island. Really really good trip and couldn’t recommend highly enough. Thank you Louise and Eric!

Myself, partner and our dog just had a lovely two day break between Christmas and new year to unwind and re-charge our batteries. We stayed in Rosie Hut and it was absolutely beautiful... clean, spacious and a fabulous use of space. It was cosy and romantic and just what we needed for some peace and quiet away from the city. Walking distance to some pubs and shops and a ten minute walk to the beach. We would highly recommend it and Louise was a lovely host, even leaving some extra touches like wine and chocolates! Lovely little find! Great location for getting out and about exploring. Loved the little touches by Denise and Carl such as the kitchen essentials, little treats etc which made it very much home from home. It was great to come back after being outside in the absolutely hideous British weather and get cosy. Much needed family time achieved thanks guys! X

We had a great short-break in this really spacious caravan, which the owners have furnished with everything you will need for your stay. The caravan is comfortable and warm and the green space at the back for the dogs to run on was a real bonus. It has a really hot and powerful shower which is a big plus point. Denise & Carl said hello and goodbye, and made it clear we should speak to them if we needed anything, but as the caravan was thoughtfully stocked and the information provided in the guest folder covered everything, we didn't need much else! The caravan is nicely situated in a quiet corner of Anglesey so you can easily get to all best spots for walking/shopping but have peace & quiet to return to. There are some good walks to be had from the caravan itself and you can get to a few really good pubs on foot too.

We had a great stay at Denise's. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, and our dog really enjoyed having lots of space to run around in. Very conveniently located for walks on the coast. Would recommend.

Denise’s caravan was spacious and clean. It was fairly well equipped. The little extras were a nice touch. Anglesey is such a beautiful island, the beaches are gorgeous and so clean.

Me and my husband and a fantastic weekend break at the caravan for our 1 year anniversary! The place is very peaceful and a perfect locations for trips to the local beaches. The caravan is spotless, the shower is hot and powerful! On arrival Denise had everything set up, ready to go, BBQ and fire pit. Inside was lovey biscuits, eggs, butter, milk and cold water in fridge just perfect. We are keen walkers, we found printed out some coastal path circular walks of which we did after leaving on the Sunday, we look forward to coming back and trying another one!

This was a great find.... if you are looking for a chilled comfortable and exceptionally clean base you will not be disappointed.... with added little homely touches. Comfy beds and a great shower loads of space for a couple or small family. Lovely outside space and a large enclosed meadow for a dog and kids to play. Denise and Carl were friendly and helpful and there if you need anything. We will definitely be back very soon...

A comfortable room in a nice house in the countryside, about 40 minutes' drive from Caernarfon or Holyhead - an ideal place for someone looking to get away from big cities and enjoy the beautiful nature of Anglesey, which also has quite a few historic attractions. The host is very friendly and always ready to help or give some advice about the area, overall, highly recommended for those who want an enjoyable stay away from the crowd. There a TV in the room, and Wi-Fi connection is good, so you can still be in touch with the world when you want it.

Excellent place with the highest standard of cleanliness, the host was wonderful and the little touches of chocolate in the fridge and tea and coffee facilities were excellent. Lovely views from the front and the back of the property. This was our first Airbnb stay and if everyone is as good as this we look forward to more stays. Thank you very much to you.

A clean, tidy, warm and cosy little place. It had everything we needed. Brian is very friendly and welcoming. Easy access into Benllech and lovely sandy beach. The red squirrel made an appearance which was an added bonus. Very good value for money.

Brians place is a well converted garage, which at first may seem odd but the positives outway the negatives. It is a great idea for giving both the guest and the host privacy which wouldn't be the case staying in someone's house. It is newly converted and fresh and very clean, the en suite shower room and toilet is very good and Brian lets you park on the drive which is a nice touch. The only downside is the space for eating in but don't let this put you off as its doable and the other positives outweigh it.

A truly amazing place to stay, and Helen had left us all the necessities to have tea/coffee etc. There was even bread and butter/jam for breakfast. I can’t fault anything about this accommodation and will definitely be back in the future.

We spent 4 days on the island to go hiking there. The accommodation was a great base. In addition to the comfort, it was very practical in the evening everywhere to take a walk. The check in and out was pleasantly uncomplicated.

This is a lovely retreat. The roof windows let in extra light and you can hear the trees rustling. Everything was spotless. Very handy location for Bangor and Caernarfon as well as Anglesey. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect! It is a 5 star airbnb for sure. Clean, modern, comfortable. The bed linens and towels are super high quality. The garden is really beautiful, and you can watch the moon from your bed. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, bright and clean apartment surrounded by greenery. Weather permitting, there would also be a private place for barbecues and for eating out. The nearby town has a wide selection of places. Attention for those with walking problems, the bedroom is on a mezzanine. Everything else is perfect.

Red Wharf Bay is fantastic, especially if you have a dog who loves the sand as much as ours. It is about 10sq miles, so when the sea goes out there is an expanse to explore; the walk round the bay to Benllech is well worth it. The accommodation is just as it appear on Airbnb. Fabulously stylish but homely too, warm, very clean with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen area. We ate at The Ship In as it was the only place open, but would have tried The Tavern or The Boathouse; they’re both running out of season hours at the moment. Sue is a great communicator which made things very straightforward. Go, relax and enjoy

Awesome location, unique stay with great views. Very clean and comfortable accommodation near a pub and restaurant with fantastic walks. Easy drive to Snowdon national park with the rest of Anglesey and North Wales coastline nearby.

What a fabulous place to stay in a stunning location. Everything was lovely and the house was sparkling clean. There are two great places to eat within 5 minutes walking distance, the Boathouse and Ship. The tavern is also great and a 15 minute walk way. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend it. Sue was a fantastic host and the communication was great.

WOW we were expecting lovely but actually got amazing. The apartment was modern, stylish and spotlessly clean but at the same time cosy. The view from the deck onto the spotlessly clean beach was second to none. There are 2 lovely places to eat a minutes walk away which are quite reasonably priced. We enjoyed every minute of our magical short break and can't wait to return soon. Well worth the 5 star rating

Excellent accommodation, great value for money. Rooms are homely and have everything you need for a short stay. Google maps took me straight there on a dark stormy night, though I would use the main A road as per instructions if arriving at night.

A lovely home in a beautiful area. The price is more than reasonable, and the hosting is top notch. The WiFi was strong even when fully booked, and was stable throughout the month I stayed. I was comfortable when staying in, and it proved a good base for exploration. I was sad to leave, I expect you might be too.

I love the location and the atmosphere of the house. Feels like home and the room is very well equipped, (microwave, mini fridge, kettle, cutleries, plates, bowls etc). There's a friendly dog in the house too!

Such a lovely quaint place to stay. Well equipped for a few days break and ideal if you have a dog / dogs... Our 2 loved the space and freedom. The drive from the bottom of the hill to the cottage is rough terrain so take it easy. Not too much distance but something to note; especially if the tide is in. No issues for 4x4's. Heated floors make the place constantly warm and cosy with the woodburner a great way of additional heat. Good walk around the edge of the bay to The Ship where you can enjoy a well earned drink and good food. All towels and bed linen provided as well as washing up equipment. The cottage was beautiful and perfectly located with everything we needed inside....very comfy bed :) The log burner is fabulous; just what we needed after a long day walking, our dog Dexter loved it too. Great little cottage for a weekend getaway. We walked to the Ship Inn for a nice meal-- highly recommend the seafood chowder!! It was cosy and tidy and had everything we needed for a couple nights including all that was needed to make a few meals. Lovely place, would definitely return. Cant beat the views!

Can only repeat what others have said and all the fantastic reviews. You’ll not be disappointed! Location was fantastic for some lovely long walks with the dog. Got to put my new wellies from Christmas to use. Despite the weather we really didn’t find it bothered us much as we managed to get out and about and because the location was so good when it rained/hailed (a bit :)) we just headed back and got the log burner going which the dog definitely enjoyed more than us! Maggs was there if you needed her but didn’t intrude. Must say all the little touches are lovely and added to the trip. On the way over I’d wished I’d brought binoculars and low and behold. The postcards of pobty is such a special idea! Couldn’t recommend enough!

We arrived the same day as storm Dennis and i was worried id be cold but with under floor heating and the log burner we were toastie warm, location is amazing, we spent most evenings just watching the tide and then there is a lovley stretch of beach 2 min walk away for the dog to have a run. Cottage was immaculately clean and kitchen well stocked. Lovley place to switch off, were already planning on going back in the summer.

My third visit to Pobty cottage, with my dog, Hettie. This time for rest, relaxation and some sea therapy. Red Wharf Bay (Traeth Coch) is a magical place and Pobty cottage is very special and stylish!. It was bliss sitting by the woodburning stove, watching the sea rolling right in and out again and skipe, egrets, redshanks and a long-billed curlew wading for worms in the shallows. Absolutely incredible! We never met Ben, but we did meet his mum who gave us detailed tips and tricks and things to do whilst on Anglesey. Couldn't have felt more welcomed onto their beautiful land. The container itself was spotless and decorated perfectly. There were more than just the basics provided, which you often don't get in AirBnBs! We loved tending to the fire each night and having a wonderfully wholesome time. We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Annie’s place was perfect. So cosy and friendly, and Annie and Rob were amazing. Nothing was too much for them and Rob was particularly helpful with lighting the fire when we needed it. We had a wonderful two night stay. The cottage is beautiful and very clean. Annie was very helpful and had kindly started the wood burner for us before we arrived so the cottage was lovely and warm. The cottage has a very cosy feel! We had been provided with tea/coffee, milk and welsh cakes which was lovely to arrive to. Annie was always available if we needed anything or needed to ask advice on where to visit. We would definitely recommend and would be very keen to go back ourselves.

Lovely little cosy getaway. Annie and Rob were so welcoming and provided us with lots of logs for the fire. TV had lots of options, Netflix iplayer, prime video etc. Great food recommendations! A car is a necessity due to the lovely nature surroundings it’s a bit far to walk to the shops. Thanks for a lovely stay!

What a wonderful cottage! It was lovely to arrive to a very warm welcome, especially after a 6 hour drive, of a delightful cake and tea/coffee/ milk. The cottage is well equipped for a two week stay. The kitchen has everything you could wish for and more. The beds were extremely comfy and the bedding very cosy. There is a lovely log burner which is fab when you’ve had a day walking and got a bit damp. The outside area is great for when the sun is shining. We had lots of adventures walking the local area and within Snowdonia National Park. Would recommend walking through the forest opposite the house to the beach (1 1/2 hour to the beach) where we had a lovely meal at The Boathouse and The Ship Inn. Also would recommend; Dylan’s in Menai Bridge, the ice cream parlour at Beaumaris, trip on the Puffin Island Cruise, Aber Falls and Conwy.

We had an amazing stay in this cute and well-equipped cottage. The rural surroundings are beautiful, and lots of pheasants dropped by to greet us. We were welcomed with milk, butter, eggs and cake. Definitely a recommend!

Excellent location for beach & local shops & pubs

This house is in such a good location! We could not believe how close we were to all possible amenities! A Tesco, Indian takeaway, Chinese takeaway, two fish & chip shops and an amazing pub that allows dogs literally a stones throw from the cottage. The cottage has everything you need and everything was perfect, very nicely decorated and clean! The beach is a 10 minute walk. We loved it and our dogs loved it x

The place was so nice and close to the beach. The town is beautiful.

I stayed at Bay View in Benllech for 3 weeks during the month of June and had some relatives and friends visit me while I was there. The location of the property within Benllech is perfect as others have mentioned being within a short walking distance of the beach (downhill to get there and uphill to get back), food shops, an excellent Fish and Chip shop and the Benllech pub. The main bar in the Benllech pub is "lively" but the other bar is quieter and the outside patio is excellent in good weather; their food is very good. The free car park is just a few minutes walk and we never had any trouble finding a parking spot at any time during the day or night. Although the property is located on the main road through the town, it never seemed too noisy. A traffic light controlled pedestrian crossing on that road is located within a few steps of the property and is very responsive for pedestrians. Benllech, itself, is ideally located with reasonable driving access to the various coastal areas of Anglesey as well as the mainland area of Snowdonia. I was able to complete a number of the delineated walks which comprise the Anglesey coastal path as well as a couple of of Snowden trails. The castles of Beaumaris, Caernarfon, Harlech and Conwy as well as the village of Portmeirion and the city of Liverpool were all accessed easily from Benllech. The property itself is very functional with reasonably modern cooker, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, washer and dryer in the kitchen. The kitchen is adequately stocked with cookware, crockery, glassware, etc. There is plenty of room with the downstairs split between the kitchen and lounge/dining room on one side and a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom on the other. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs - one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds and, apparently, a pull out third bed. There is a separate bathroom upstairs. All of the beds were reported as being comfortable and both showers performed well. The back garden is small but does have a picnic table that would probably have enough room for 6 people. Communication with Crystal was very good, although we never met in person as we were out enjoying the multitude of sights whenever Crystal called in. I would definitely recommend Benllech and Bay View for a relaxing getaway.

We loved this house - beautifully styled with some lovely 'seaside' touches, Crystal the host is fantastic and the location is brilliant, very close to the beach, a pub and shops. We will definitely be back!

Lovely cosy cottage in a perfect location. The twin room was lovely for the kids and the downstairs room with an en-suite was a big plus. The property is right in the heart of Benllech village and just steps away from a Tesco Express, a pharmacy the local butchers and the Benllech pub. There are also various take aways, we used the Chippy and Chinese and they were both great. It’s s 10 minute stroll down to the bay and beach and a walk of approx 40 mins takes you past St David’s and to Red Wharf Bay when the tide is out. We stayed for a week so visited loads of easily accessible places on Anglesey and also back on the mainland.

Lovely little pod with everything you would need for a short stay. Cosy with a plug in radiator and comfortable bed. Bathroom/toilet is a very short walk behind the pod and very clean. Just under 30 minute walk into Benllech so good location.

Sue’s pod was absolutely lovely! We arrived later than expected, but Sue was so lovely about it and really welcoming. She’s even left biscuits, wine and milk ready for us. The pod itself was really cosy and homely. We purchased a couple of logs beforehand and it soon turned into a sauna. The location is also great, and it barely a 5 minute walk to a lovely beach! Would happily recommend!

Sue was really friendly and helpful. The welcome gift of wine, milk and biscuits was a really nice touch and gratefully received. The pod and the bathroom are clearly well looked after and spotlessly clean. A gorgeous beach is a short walk away - the whole area is stunning. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely pod. Bigger than the pictures suggest. With everything you possible need for a relaxing weekend! The beach is a few minutes away and it’s stunning.

We had the best little holiday, Sue was really welcoming and friendly, she’d left a bottle of wine, flapjacks, biscuits and everything needed to make a cuppa after our journey. The pod is comfortable, clean and has everything needed for a cosy getaway. The little bathroom at the back of the pod is more than adequate. There’s a 5 minute walk to a lovely beach, we swam and sunbathed and just relaxed, even in the summer holidays it was quiet and peaceful. Anglesey is beautiful, we saw dolphins, seals, hundreds of butterflies, we ate good food in little cafes and walked for miles. We can’t wait to go back and will definitely be using Sue’s lovely pod again.

Lovely stay at this house. We went for a weekend break with friends and it was perfectly suited. Close to amenities, house well set up for multiple people and inside was furnished beautifully. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Very nice, great accommodation, everything you need and a lot more.

This is a very roomy house with several bedrooms, two spotless modern bathrooms, a very comfy living room and a very well equipped kitchen, with modern stove, complete with two ovens, a grill and an induction hob. The beds are really comfortable. There is a large garden which is very private, a barbecue/smoker and a laundry room. There's a really helpful folder of things to do. Communications with Lars ares always fat and helpful. Benllech is a really great little village with the most amazing beach. If we come back to Anglesey we'd stay here again in a flash.

Hyfrydle is in a great location - very close to the beach and the shops, so anything you might need is at your doorstep. It's only a short drive from other less local attractions, which are listed in a helpful book of Things to Do, provided by Lars. It's a great house for large groups, and provides more than enough space and entertainment should the weather disappoint. Very clean and welcoming, with plenty of privacy and a large garden area. We particularly enjoyed watching the sunsets from the upstairs balcony, which has a great view. I would recommend for large groups but also families as well.

Very lovely self contained place with plenty of room, toasty warm in the winter, and everything you could need for a few days - cooking utensils, emergency food, board games, books, etc. Fast Internet, and very good communication from the hosts. Tips from us - If you are relying on public transport, be aware that the first bus out of the village on a Sunday is 1pm. Weekdays and Saturdays the buses are much more frequent. The village doesn't have a pub or takeaway. There is a small convenience store which sells canned food, fresh fruit and veg and bread, and ready meals etc. If you are staying more than a couple of days and self catering then plan in a trip to Bangor or similar to pick up food from a supermarket to save money. Very cosy place and would definitely stay again. Thank you for having us!

Third time staying here now. I just love the place and feel so at home as soon as I step through the door. Comfy bed and pillows which are perfect after a day exploring Anglesey or snowdonia. I’m sure I’ll be back within the next couple of months. Also two out of the three times i have stayed here the hosts have contacted me to say that the place is ready early should I wish for an early check in which is always great.

We loved being guests at Sarah’s place. The interior was beautiful, the house was nicely equipped, especially the kitchen, because we love to cook a lot. They payed attention to little deco-details. The check-in went very smoothly. The apartment was warm and cosy when we arrived. When we had questions, she answered us within minutes. The parking space in the front of the house was just perfect for our rented car, too. All in all, we loved our time there (twice), we could relax and enjoy the weekends without any problems. We would recommend it to our friends!

Sarah and Scott’s place was a great place to stay in a great location for all the day trips I had planned. It had everything I needed including hot water and ample heating which are needed after a day out walking. The hosts left maps of the area and messaged after the first night to check everything was ok, which is was.

The cottage was well located, close enough to Caernarfon but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. It is a very spacious place, comfortable to relax and enjoy the views of the mountains. Charlotte and Rich were very responsive to queries and left some good tips for the local area.

I recommend Charlotte's place, we had a great time. It was spacious and comfortable, nicely appointed with good quality furniture. The situation is great for birdwatchers between estuary and mountains

We really enjoyed our stay here! We’d booked for 3 nights as a little getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted by Rich with a warm friendly welcome. The cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great for us, and the view from the upstairs window is gorgeous! We would recommend to anyone looking for a calm, quiet getaway in Wales!

Rich & Charlotte have been super. They welcomed us when we arrived explaining where we could find things and how to get settled. The cottage is cosy and well equipped. The whole area is the perfect place where you want to go if you want escape busy sites or explore some nature. Close to the cottage there is the Snowdonia park where we hiked and you can enjoy amazing views. The cottage is situated close to the beach where you can join the costal path of Wales all the way up to Caernarfron. Cottage highly recommended.

It’s nice and peaceful place to stay. You can enjoy perfect sunrise and sunset. It’s near to the beach and you can easily walk to the seaside. The only thing is that it’s a little bit cold during the morning and nighttime. So just bring something to keep yourself warm .

Just spent 5 days at Catherine & Eifion's caravan with a 6 year old and a 3 year old. We all loved the stay. The caravan is in a lovely rural location close to beaches and tourist towns. The caravan was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and their were lovely views from the caravan and its veranda.

We had a lovely time at Catherine's caravan overlooking Red Wharf Bay. The caravan is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The situation is perfect with lots of lovely walking around the bay. Perfect for a getaway holiday with the grandchildren. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at this caravan. It wasbigger and more spacious than we expected. The beds were comfortable. It was very clean. Great views over red wharf bay. The ship inn bar and boat house restaurant were a 20 minute scenic walk around the bay. Catherine and Eifon were very helpful.

Fantastic views from the caravan and Catherine and Eifion are great hosts, really quick replies and simple check in and out. All very clean and welcoming - we had a fabulous 1st family holiday in Angelsey!

The accommodation is tidy and spotless. Kitchen fully equipped. Bed comfortable, living area spacious. My partner and I were very happy with what we had booked. The site is small (only three other static vans) it is oh so peaceful, only noise is the cows and birds, which is exactly what we wanted. The views from our van were amazing, beautiful sunrise and sunset The village pub you can walk to. If you want to get away from the hectic life we lead then I highly recommend Catherine and Eifions place. A great place to relax

The view of the mountains from the caravan is absolutely stunning! The caravan was clean and spacious for 3 adults and 1 child. It had lots of personal touches like a breakfast basket, fresh milk and bread and even left some sparklers for our daughter, given the time of year. The location was great to get to all the places we wanted to visit. Paul answered emails really quickly. We are hoping to stay again very soon!!

A light and spacious holiday home, and dog friendly too! The beakfast basket was a lovely touch. And the view is spectactular. We were lucky to get a couple of clear nights and the view of the stars (no light pollution) is beautiful.

Carrol was an excellent host, very prompt with communication, and was generous to give us extra time at check out. We felt welcomed to the cottage ; she had left us some welsh cakes and Bara brith, which we enjoyed. The cottage itself was lovely. The photos are good but it looks even better in reality. It’s a real haven and very comfortable. I am sure we will return when we come to Wales again.

This is a very cosy, quiet cottage for a family of three. It is well-equipped and Carol & David are perfect hosts. The cottage is in a great location for exploring Anglesey and the national park. We highly recommend a stay.

This place is a fantastic one if you want quiet, comfort and space. This is a beautiful cottage so close to many beaches and walking trails. We loved it from start to finish. Cooking there is easy but be sure to shop beforehand as the corner shop was rather limited. It was a very cosy stay in a very stylish, beautifully restored cottage. The owners were very welcoming and there is plenty of information on hand to read up on places to visit. Ideally situated in a fabulous area of Anglesey. Get thee hence!

Had a lovely stay at the apartment. Very clean, modern and secure apartment with nice extra touches that made the stay memorable. especially the beach trolley which was well used during our stay! Short 3-4minute walk down the hill to benllech beach which is beautiful and perfect for families with a cafe and shop too. At the top of the hill (3-4mins from apartment) there is a Tesco express and co-op and a nice fish and chip shop next to Tesco. Tavern bay restaurant is a must visit, it's in the next bay, can be walked or driven in 7mins. Great views of bay whilst eating lovely food. Would highly recommend stay at colin's apartment and surrounding area.
