The views from the cabin are breathtaking & having the chance to star gaze at night from your patio gives you that extra view of the night sky. Totally will be back again!

  • This is a wonderful private place with a spectacular view. The cabin has everything one needs. The towels are fluffy. The sheets are luxurious. It’s quite a special place. We wished we had stayed longer.

    Jenny2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice place. The view is amazing. Definitely try to do check in during daylight hours. Very peaceful and relaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy everything the place has to offer.

    Jose2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here for two nights in February and it was BEAUTIFUL. So close to the park entrance and the dogs are super sweet and friendly. Love Jana's recommendations. We went to Gateway, Riverview, and Casa Mendoza(Definitely the favorite, great breakfast). The view from the deck is beautiful and has great chairs and a swing. Literally in the park 2 minutes down the road.

    Erin2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a special place. Exactly the experience we wanted. Chill, serene and very low key. The cabin itself has so much charm. We really appreciated the snack basket. Jana greeted us with a smile, a wave and warm energy... the pups did as well.. minus the wave. Be prepared, The views from the front deck and the sheer proximity to even more beauty is stunning. You’d be missing out if you didn’t star gaze.

    Noreen2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great location! Very close and convenient to Sequoia. Small but clean, comfortable & private. I love that there was both private & shared outdoor space for all of the rentals. We were there less than 24 hours, so didn’t have an opportunity to take much advantage of the outdoor space & river views much, but they looked amazing! Would definitely stay here again!

    Jacinda2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The lodge itself is exactly as good as described, and I greatly recommend it. The river next to the lodge is very serene and beautiful, with a small romantic bench overlooking it. One tip: get there before dark, the view is something you don't want to miss.

    Udi2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at the Garden Cottage in Three Rivers. Check in was a breeze and the instructions from Shea were extremely helpful without having any cell service in the area. The coffee and snacks were a great touch to come back to after hiking all day. Cozy room, and all accommodations were accurate to the listing. We enjoyed exploring down by the river and wished we had more time to enjoy the outdoor areas- most of our time was up in the sequoia trees. The local recommendations were much appreciated and helped shape our trip. We can't recommend Pamela & Shea enough!

    Jake2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The garden cottage where I stayed was adorable. It had all the amenities I needed for a 3 day stay and super close to the hikes I wanted to take. I couldn't find a single detail wrong as the place was sparkling clean.

    Marissa2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • This place was super cute and clean! Felt really homey and they had a ton of things to help keep you entertained like movies and board games!

    Antonia2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The place was amazing. We only stayed for one night but wish we would’ve stayed a little longer. The views from the Airbnb are gorgeous and the river area by it are so relaxing. It was really close to the Sequoia NP. Also, the place is really clean!

March is the most beautiful month for wildflowers. Because of the coronovirus the Parks are very quiet. No waiting at the gate and lots of parking. Inviting quiet cabin on the way to the Mineral King section of Sequoia National Park, and 4 miles from the main entrance to Sequoia National Park. The dwelling and garden overlook the Great Western Divide, wildlife, and horses. A/C & central heat. There's a great place to feed, water and rest your horses if you’re traveling with them, too.
The views are spectacular. Moro Rock, Alta Peak, Great Western Divide, Eagle Rock and more. The views are best seen while walking or driving around the property Horses welcome. As a matter of fact if you peek down the hill from the parking area you'll find the rescue horses that live here and maybe even some of the rescue dogs that are living out their dog dreams here on the ranch as well.
This Mineral King property sits overlooking the Great Western Divide amongst the manzanita, and the majestic oaks. It's located 5 miles from the Sequoia National Park gate, and about 20 miles from Mineral King.
  • I have never ever had a harder time leaving a rental behind. No photos could ever do this gem the justice it deserves. Renee’s property is healing on so many different levels, it instantly feels like home. And Renee herself is the most kind-hearted host I’ve ever had. I will DEFINITELY be returning and until then will be constantly dreaming of this breathtaking haven.

    Devany2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Renee's cottage is spectacular. Spotless, incredibly well appointed, extremely comfortable, and the location on Mineral King Road is just indescribable...very close to Sequoia but the Mineral King area itself is even better. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

    James2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy space, peaceful, quiet, clean, and beautiful. Stocked with plenty of snacks and fast breakfast options. Amazing place to getaway and relax. Host was wonderful as well, would love to stay again.

    Mario2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend Renee's beautiful, cozy cabin! Was a great place to stay and would definitely return. Renee was a very welcoming host. It's conveniently located close to Sequoia National Park and very comfortable.

    James2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Renee was super friendly and quick to respond with any questions. The guesthouse was exactly as shown in the pictures. The fresh flowers were also a nice touch to the rooms! The guesthouse was homey with all the amenities (e.g. heater, two shower heads, comfy bed) but also felt secluded out in the wilderness with the wide windows to the mountains. I highly recommend the place!

    Elizabeth2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Renee's place is a wonderful retreat for those of you looking to step away from city life for a few days. Everything was spotless and the decor is extremely quaint and cute. You will have all the amenities available to you for a comfortable stay. Directions are very straight forward and you should have no trouble finding her place. Check-in is super easy with the keypad lock and Renee is also very responsive with messages. She will help with whatever you need. Highly recommend!

    Jason2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Renee’s place is very close to a dream place when you want to be explore a peaceful retreat as well as do some activities in the national park. Very cozy and comfortable. The place has a very artistic ambience and the surroundings are so nature-friendly. Our family spent great two nights there. So glad to get to know Renee and her horses, too. She helped my son feed Lucy and Angie with some apples and carrots. Thanks a lot, Renee. We hope to visit you again soon.

    Hyun S.2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful and cozy! Had a wonderful time. Renee left snacks out for us and there’s a binder with a bunch of recommendations and maps of the parks. The bed was huge and really comfortable! There is a great outdoor area as well. Renee was very clear with instructions! Will try to come back!

Backs up to wild lands, and only 3 minutes from Sequoia National Park entrance. Original vintage knotty pine paneling, give off the glow of a hundred candles. Private heavy duty redwood trellised BBQ areas, with fire pit and picnic tables. Best local BBQ, deli, and wine room just across and up about 1/2 block. You'll love the cabin experience.
A great cabin property backing up to the wilderness, but just on the way to the Main Gate entrance of the Sequoia National Park (3 minutes). A nearby full restaurant and bar, and conveniently located 1/2 block from the totem deli, bbq, and wine room.
  • This cabin was perfect for our visit to Sequoia. It was a very easy drive up to the park and the market/restaurant was yummy and convenient

    Lizeth2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place, amazing view. Sparking clean and everything we needed.

    Martha2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay here! Absolutely prime location to Sequoia NP. She had a very helpful binder with tips for the area. The space was comfortable. Comfy bed, nice kitchenette! Restaurants in the near vicinity.

    Paige2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Adjacent to another cabin next door. Very close to the park. Great experience overall :)

    Hersh2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The location is great and the cabin was very clean and comfortable even as small as it was. Pamela is on top of things and will respond quickly and accommodate your every need. I would definitely stay there again.

    Diane2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela’s place is exactly as described. The place was clean and I really enjoyed the patio with the fire pit! It was the perfect size for the night my boyfriend and I stayed, and the location was perfect for our trip to Sequoia. There’s a cute little market just across the street great for some last minute snacks with really nice staff as well. It was freezing when we first arrived at the cabin but the heater kicked in well after about 20 minutes. We also couldn’t find the remote for the TV but it’s okay because we ended up not really needing it. The only big complaint I have is the security of the place. It’s right next to a major road, and neither the front or back door had deadbolt locks working. I really like feeling secure at night so that kind of made me nervous. But overall, the place was really great for our trip to Sequoia!

    Emeri2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful location. Clean and quaint. Outdoor scenery from balcony is lovely, sound of river very relaxing. Ease of entry is super convenient. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

    Me'Elani2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • The stay at the cabin was exactly as we expected. A very relaxing, private and perfect time in sequoia. Very thankful for the cleanliness and ease of access. All in all a great trip and experience I would recommend again and again. Thanks for the stay!

  • It was our second time staying at Casita and we wouldn't choose any other option in the area. Perfect location, amazing place, very very clean and with plenty of thoughtful touches. You will find everything you need for a perfect getaway! Jana is an amazing host very responsive and kind. Thank you so so much we cannot wait to be back!

    Anastasia2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • You can expect this place to be true to the pictures. The location is unbeatable, unless of course, you are staying at the lodges inside Sequoia National Park. We were pleasantly surprised by how close we were in mileage to the entrance of the Park. After a day of driving and hiking, it was SO nice to unwind in the Jacuzzi. Jacuzzi was well maintained and had stunning views of the mountains. Sierra Vista Casita was also very clean and we had a comfy stay here! We loved it!

    Brianna2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Jana’s casita is the prefect mountain getaway with all the amenities you could hope for. Light up the grill for dinner after adventuring in the Sequoias, enjoy a pot of brewed coffee in the morning to the sound of the creek, soak in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The casita is well located, super clean and inviting. Perfect get away weekend.

    Leonice2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Was a lovely casita in the perfect spot near the park. Thanks for everything Jana!

    Ganit2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Jana’s casita is the perfect weekend getaway! Right next to the Sequoia National park entrance and just down the road from the little town strip. The casita is so cute! Comfy bed, great kitchen area, and nice little picnic table next to the fountain in the front of the casita. Our favorite features were the fireplace, jacuzzi and shower. The only drawback was the insects, which of course is mostly out of anyone’s control. (spiders, mosquitos, red ants, scorpions) so keep the doors closed and thoroughly check before you sit down anywhere outside!

    Rachel2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Jana’s casita is a lovely place only about 4 miles from the entrance of Sequoia national park. The dial-in pad made checking in effortless. The place was very clean and easy to operate. I would recommend Jana’s Casita to anyone looking to explore Three Rivers and Sequoia.

    Matt2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Jana's place was perfect for our Sequoia trip. Her binder was very clear with tips for Three Rivers and hikes in the park. We also enjoyed the hot tub under the night sky. I saw a shooting star! The backyard area is near some trees where we got to enjoy some bird watching (woodpeckers and a red tailed hawk). I would recommend Jana's place to anyone who is interested in exploring the area.

    Shylo2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Charming house in a fabulous location! Hot tub takes a really long time (over an hour) to heat up but the stargazing is magical on the patio overlooking the mountains. The fireplace is cozy and warm.

  • Charming place to stay near Sequoia National Park! Every morning the hummingbirds were incredible just outside the beautiful screened-in porch. We fell in love with Three Rivers which is just a short drive from Barbara's place. Such a great getaway for a relaxing weekend!

  • We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. The location was great for the park and restaurants etc. The place is so homely and has everything you could need. We borrowed cool bags and ice to take our lunch into the park. We sat watching hummingbirds in the morning with breakfast which was lovely, we even had a few deer walk past one morning! Would highly recommend staying here!

My home offers beautiful views and is only minutes away from Sequoia Park entrance. I encourage guest to enjoy breakfast on the deck or in our relaxing zen sunroom. You have access to the gourmet kitchen, big living room with t.v., and two patio decks overlooking three rivers. The only cell phone service that reaches our location is AT&T. There are two Oak Grove Drives in the area, mine is the second Rd. There is a no-shoes in home policy so please leave shoes at the door. :)
Your private room and bathroom are located upstairs next to living room, kitchen and sunroom. We provide linens, fresh towels, shampoo and conditioner. The room is equipped with a comfortable pillow top mattress, fan and small heater for extra comfort.
Our neighborhood is super quite, you can hear the wild animals at night and the birds chirping in the morning, it feels like luxury camping

Looking for a lovely place to stay with amazing views? At Mineral King Guest House, you'll feel like you're up in the trees or right in the Milky Way. We are two miles from the Foothills entrance station for Sequoia National Park. The apartment is about 500 square feet in two rooms plus a bathroom. It is directly under and completely separate from the main living space of the house.
Mineral King Guest House has a complete kitchen with a gas barbecue outside. A stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, etc., allows you to cook meals if you choose to eat in. Coffee, juice, bagels, fruit, condiments, and a variety of snacks are provided for your convenience. The apartment has one bedroom, with a queen bed, and a full-size fold-out couch in the living room area. The space is ideal for a couple, plus one additional person. In addition, we could put a fold-out futon on the floor of the bedroom. The apartment has a unique, triangular-shaped bathroom with shower. Outside, you may sit at a bistro table to watch the hummingbirds, or relax on the spacious deck while viewing Moro Rock and the Kaweah River. Access to a the washer and dryer can be arranged in advance. A variety of games and books is available along with Wifi. Our home is very private and uniquely built around a hillside. The panoramic view is spectacular - you'll wake up with a smile as you watch the hills turn golden in the morning sun, and you'll experience the peaceful rose glow from the setting sun.
We're just 2 miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park at Ash Mountain, and 30 miles from Giant Forest and the General Sherman Tree. Take binoculars when you climb Moro Rock and see if you can spot our house from the top. In the summer and fall, you can continue up our road to Mineral King where hiking trails range from easy to challenging. You can also reach the park by going to the end of South Fork Rd, where the ladybugs hibernate in the winter. If you like mountain biking, consider heading up Skyline Drive and exploring the trails on the BLM property at Salt Creek. Nearby attractions include mountain biking, river rafting (in season), swimming and house boating on the lake, and trail rides through the local stables. St. Anthony's Retreat Center is close by and offers a great place for reflection. If archeology is your passion, you can explore the area for Native American artifacts, grinding holes, and pictographs, particularly at Hospital Rock. Local restaurants offer a variety of dining options. We highly recommend Sierra Subs and Salads. If shopping interests you, we have several options. Heart's Desire will provide exactly the right gift to take home to family and friends. The Barn has a variety of selections from local artists. Nadi Spencer's art studio is always a treat to visit.
  • This is the perfect destination for a relaxing weekend getaway. My partner and I left San Francisco to explore some of the nature Northern California had to offer — we ended up extending our stay by an extra night because the house + the nearby area was so wonderful. Waking up next to a giant sunny window with a beautiful view of the grassy hills and sounds of a calming wind chime was a dream. There are also hummingbirds nearby the house and they stop by the feeders daily, which was great to watch as we had never seen them before. We loved cooking in the kitchen and it was fully stocked for all of our needs. Sue has everything prepared — spices, spreads, jams, beverages, baking supplies, even bottles of wine. The space heater made it warm and cozy to come home after a long snowy hike in Sequoia. We also loved exploring the little shops in the town — there was a great ice cream place along with many restaurants and grocery stores where we picked up ingredients to make dinner. Thanks for making our first weekend trip so special and memorable! We loved staying here and hope to come back soon.

  • A great place to stay! Highly recommend, and Sue is an amazing host.

    Madeline2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Sue’s place is an especially convenient stay if you’re visiting Sequoia National Park. She is very hospitable, greeted our car in the driveway, followed by a brief tour of the place and a few dinner suggestions. Apartment was stocked with food, drinks (hard & soft), and had adorable personal touches.

    Samantha2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • The place is wonderful! An all-glass house on the mountain, by the river. A wonderful view. We arrived at night and saw deer on the spot. Really special area. Very comfortable and clean apartment. It is very close to the entrance to Sequoia Park.

    Salviano2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • We would have loved to stay longer at Mineral King! Sue met us as we pulled up and showed us around the house, giving us recommendations of where to go in the Sequoia National Park and in Three Rivers. Our night at Mineral King was restful, and we felt right at home. From the back deck to look out at the stars, to the book/DVD collection, and the fridge stocked with breakfast food and wine, we had absolutely everything we needed.

    Logan2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Sue’s place is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay in the guest house. Our stay was very peaceful and cozy, we enjoyed disconnecting from our busy routine. The view from the deck is phenomenal. Also it is very convenient to the entrance of Sequoia NP. Overall an amazing place we will be returning for sure.

This place checks off all the boxes of what you would want in a vacation, it's super close to the park, secluded, beautiful and clean. Even in winter an outside shower was absolutely enjoyable. • Wonderful! We were in heaven here. Beautiful surroundings and a quiet, nicely styled home. If you like nature, this is the place for you! We saw tons of kinds of birds, deer, frogs... it was awesome. This is an awesome location for exploring Sequoia and Mineral King as it’s sort of central. Enjoy!

  • The pictures do not do this gem justice! Between the deer, adorable rabbit, lizards and the beautiful hummingbirds, this is an amazing place!!! We thoughly enjoyed our stay!!!!

  • Gorgeous house in the most beautiful surroundings! Perfect spot to relax and enjoy sequoia national park. Highly recommended.

    Jennifer2019-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • First off, the communication from the host is amazing. They are very responsive from the moment you make a reservation, during the check in process, to the actual stay, and when you leave. They ensured that we were well accommodated and addressed and questions and issues we had. Now, to the place. It is a decently sized cabin next to a gravel road and when we arrived at night we were a little uneasy because there was minimal lighting and we couldn't see what surrounded the cabin. However, when the morning came, we were instantly put at ease. It's a naturally calm environment away from traffic so you are always surrounded only with nature sounds. The place offered the essentials needed for cooking, bathing, and sleeping. A perfect place to plug out from the internet and just spend time with family and friends. Oh, and don't freak out if you hear someone knocking at the walls at 6 in the morning. It's not a stranger, it's just friendly woodpeckers waking you up early in the morning and urging you to explore the national parks!

    Earl2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Very cool place. The path to the river was really nice.

    Diana2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • This place was beautiful. Tucked away by the river, we saw wild horses for two days wonder around and deer sleeping in the back. We watched the stars from the bedroom window. It was lovely. Every detail was perfectly thought out. Kori’s response was so fast, and she turned the cooler in the house for us as we checked in. The house has an open and inviting feel. We loved our stay. The river is a short walk and the drive to sequoias was 15 minutes to the entrance. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

    Diana2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Suzanne’s place was a wonderful jumping off point for a long weekend near Sequoia Park (no more than 15 minutes - it can’t be beat.) The river access was fantastic, especially given the toasty weather over Labor Day weekend. The space for me, my husband and two and a half year old was roomy enough, and my daughter got a kick out of the claw foot bath tub, the games, nature books and lizards outside. We would absolutely stay here again.

    Jen2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Our family of four had a GREAT long weekend in this place! It's such a great location, with expansive views right outside the windows. We enjoyed coming back from Sequoia National Park to go for a swim in the river, and spent the nights outside looking at the massive amount of stars (and also playing some of the board games that were provided!). The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals, as well. We really couldn't have asked for a better place to call home for four days. We have already recommended it to friends who want to go there!

You can book with your eyes closed, your experience will be just as magical as ours. Thank you, thank you and thank you again to our host!

  • A great place to stay, about as close to sequoia national park that you can be! The space was a good place to return to after some scenic hikes in the countryside. We would recommend this highly to other people looking to explore sequoia and the surrounding area.

  • Excellent location near the park. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed.

  • Everything was great and worked out perfect for our family's trip to Sequoia National Park! I highly recommend this place! Great response, great location, great amenities, very clean, great food right across the street at the Totem....

  • The place is amazing, very cozy and clean. Very close to the entrance to sequoia, the marbel falls hike for example is only 16 min. Away. There is fire pit and BBQ provided. The kitchen had absolutely everything (even spices, small bags for sandwiches and olive oil.) It was fun for all the family to sit by the fire all and then watch with the kids dvds that the owner provided.

    Karina2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We wanted a quick getaway and visit Sequoia right before NYE and this cozy cabin was perfect. It's almost as close to Sequoia Park as you can get. We were able to wake up and enjoy the nice view out back while drinking tea and then head up to the park. The drive was only about 45 minutes (mostly going up in elevation in a gorgeous cliffside drive) and we ended up hiking Moro Rock in the snow while enjoy the breathtaking trees and views. The perfect quick getaway for us!

  • Sparking clean, super comfortable bed, great location. Nicely decorated, all the things you could need during your stay. The food downstairs is delicious. And they provide a real breakfast from the menu to guest. We really liked the town. Everyone was so friendly.

    Stefan2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Very cute place, with thoughtful touches like really nice blankets and lots of towels. The porch is great to hang out on. The breakfast downstairs at the market was very delicious and a good time every morning. Would highly recommend staying here!

  • Everything about this place is thoughtful and welcoming! Very clean and everyone was friendly and helpful!

    Riley2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a gem. Really cozy and well decorated with a lot of thoughtful touches. Being above the market and having a (really good) breakfast included was wonderful. We loved how close this apartment is to the park entrance. We will be back. Thanks!

    Nathaniel2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • A very convenient spot! The restaurant and store downstairs not only offers tire chains for rental, they have a great bar, the food is awesome and also at a great price! Get the chili, it’s not on the menu but it’s amazing. The place looks like it does in the pictures; it is very clean, and has updated appliances - stove/oven, dishwasher, fridge, and microwave. It also provides coffee, non-dairy creamer and sugar. Plus all of the normal kitchen supplies - plates, glasses, silverware, bakeware, knives, etc. During busy season/during the day (I came in February) you can hear music and the customers in the store downstairs but it’s still not very loud and the store closes at 7/is very quiet in the evenings. The internet is very fast and I was able to stream my webinar for my class with no problems. This place is super close to Sequoia NP and is probably the closest you can get without staying in the park. It’s also close to a local grocery store and gas stations. Would definitely stay again!

    Victoria2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • A cozy place close to Sequoia NP. Made it very convenient to travel into the park and back. Hosts were very responsive. Loved the complementary breakfast and drinks! Would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

  • Great!

    Jacob2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Very good, the appartment is clean and comfortable, the totem market downstairs is very useful and the owners are very nice and helpful . The complementary breakfast was a good surprise too! Even in winter, sequoia park is a good place to visit and easy to access from this appartment

You’ll love our ranch for the spectacular views, the outdoors space, and the river! This new modern cabin is good for one or two couples and families. This cabin is only 15 minutes from the entrance to world famous Sequoia National Park!!
Clean, interior wood floors throughout the cabin. Cozy for you to relax after a long day hiking, fishing, sightseeing. Or, if you prefer, you can just stay at the cabin in secluded quite and take in the magnificent view all around you!! The cabin is a fully outfitted home where you could live for months. The Neighborhood Charming neighborhood and nice neighbors. A 15 minute drive will get you to HWY 198 where there are restaurants in both directions. To the West the is shopping including a grocery store (about 10 minutes). To the East just 5 minutes is the entrance to Sequoia National Park (but it is still another 40 minutes or so up a windy road inside the park to Giant Forest and other attractions).
  • This cabin was better than what we had imagined! It was so secluded and quiet, but also had some great attractions on premises. There was no pond too small for our little two-year-old to throw his rocks into. We saw deer, wild turkey and a bobcat. I highly recommend and have already referred family and friends.

    Amy2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Expect to hate to go home. It was a truly wonderful humbling experience. The location of the cabin provides seclusion and privacy. Our host was wonderful. She made us feel comfortable and safe. The cabin is clean, cozy and perfect for a couple. It is pretty close to the National Park entrance. I would say to definitely stay here.

  • The location and hospitality exceeded our expectations! My wife, kids and I had a lovely time walking to the river. We would highly recommend this place and will be coming back sometime soon! The location is minutes away from the gate for the Sequoia park and everyone in town was friendly. Thanks Kori and Paul!!

  • Spend two nights here over my birthday, with my mother and sister. We had an awesome time. Missed the fact that the second bed is a sofa bed, but it was still great. Very quiet area, close to Sequoia and King's Canyon. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Our stay in Three Rivers was exquisite! After full days spent in Sequoia and Kings Canyon, I couldn't have scripted a better place to unwind and relax than Little Bear Cottage. The home had every convenience you could ask for and more. Towels were plush, beds were comfortable, blankets were plentiful and the overall design of the house was soothing and beautiful. We stayed up late every night just to take advantage of the hot tub and fire pit with beautiful views of the surrounding area. Thank you Michael for a wonderful reprieve from life!

  • Sparkling clean with a great view and everything you need - what more could you want? We picked this place due to it's unbeatable location in close proximity to Sequoia National Park. Three Rivers is a perfect base and this accommodation was perfect from the view to the facilities. We will be back for sure!

Charming and unique river retreat! Wonderful views with river access, bbq, outdoor bathtub and a ping pong table. Awake to the sound of singing birds and drink your coffee watching the sunrise over the Sierra.
Families, Adventurers, Couples, Bird lovers and anyone who wants to sit by a river and read a book.
The house is 15 minutes from the entrance to Sequoia National Park and 20 minutes from the town of Three Rivers. There is a grocery store, several restaurants and a gas station. Three Rivers is a small town that is the gateway to Sequoia National Park. All basic services are found there. The Kaweah river runs through the town, which is built along its three branches. My place is located on the main fork of the river, close to the Park's boundary. There is hiking, river rafting and mountain biking in town. This spot is special because of the big views, peaceful setting and access to a lovely spot along the river, which is priceless when its really hot out!
  • Our young family loved being outside with the swing fire pit and of course the river. Awesome location right outside the park.

  • It is truly beautiful place and great location for visiting Sequoia National Park. The house is huge and neatly decorated. The bedroom with big windows looks over to the Snow-clad mountains. We enjoyed the campfire on wood burning stove outside and the tree swing. You can walk over to the riverbed. The house is beautiful than the pictures here.

    Radhika2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful cabin with even better views. We were lucky enough to wake up to views of snow capped mountains from bed every morning and it couldn't have been better. Two wood stoves kept the place plenty warm, almost too warm, even when in the low 30's outside. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need, including basics like oil and salt, to cook full meals. Great location near town, but just far away enough so that you felt like you were out in nature. You could even hear the river from bed. Great path to the river that someone has clearly put a lot of effort into. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

    Chrysti2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at Suzanne's place. River access was great, as well as easy access to the park. The cabin has a funky feel to it and is very cozy, with everything one might need. Note that the property it's on is shared with other rentals. You can also see Highway 198 from the house. If you're looking to be entirely secluded in nature this might not be the right place for you, otherwise it's great!

Nestled into the lower east side of Salt Creek Canyon sits this beautiful hand-crafted 680 square foot guest house on nine acres. Originally built by owner as a writing and painting studio in the late 1980s, it has an open floor plan with a wood beam ceiling and pine plank flooring. All wood furniture is made by owner.
The screened in porch opens onto two wood decks that over look a series of cascading ponds and Salt Creek farther below. A separate driveway from Salt Creek Road (also known as Craig Ranch Road) with carport provides parking and privacy.
  • The location is absolutely stunning, it’s even more beautiful and picturesque than the photos can show. The cottage was sparkling clean as if it had never been stayed in before. Martha was very prompt with messages and even turned on the heater and lights as we were arriving late due to traffic. It is very close to Sequoia National Park, just minutes away from some gorgeous hiking trails. Absolutely phenomenal experience, would absolutely stay here again!

    Madison2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is implacable and exquisitely decorated , with also lots of thought into all possible needs a guess may have. We went on a short trip of just two nights and certainly will comeback to explore the surrounding hikes in the future. As a host Martha and Rick are unique as their creative and artistic habilites are reflected in this property in every corner. I highly recommended for anyone that loves nature and tranquility 😃.

    Greg2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • It got me at "Writer's Retreat" but it was even more. The cottage was like stepping into a feature of Sunset Magazine with it's fine proportions, soft edges, and beautiful usage of materials from all natural window sashes to linen bed covers to pine floors and the list goes on. I will never forget the magical moments of shared meals, water coloring at the kitchen table, and daring to dream as I sat looking out the picture windows listening to the stream dance down the canyon and the hummingbirds flapping their wings as they feasted at the bird feeder. All senses were rewarded in this delightful spot on earth.

    Elizabeth2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Impeccable cabin. It was both exactly as pictured and yet somehow even more lovely in person. Perfect location close to tasty eats and provisions in Three Rivers with wonderful easy access to the park...but don't miss the recommended local hike down the road either, the views were stunning there too. A wonderful stay.

    Annie2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a perfect stay in this cabin. Check in and check out were so easy, the place was sparkling clean, and was even ready for us early! Everything that we thought we might need was stocked in the cabin, and the handmade furniture and wall of windows could not have been more beautiful. The screened in porch was a lovely way to wake up with a cup of coffee! We will absolutely be back on our next trip to Sequoia.

    Sophie2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • All the over the top goods thing previous reviewers have written are true. This place is wonderful. So beautiful, the craftsmanship is so impressive, the decor and furnishings, spot on, the setting and water sounds relaxing. The only thing that would be better is a longer stay!

    Jan2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • A special place to stay in the Foothills of the Sierra Nevada, this is the ultimate retreat to rest your weary feet. Outstanding style, craftsmanship, and amenities, Martha and Rick have thought of every detail, and their talents as artists come out in this space. Their cabin flows into the surrounding environment and invites in the tranquil. 3 Rivers is a cool place with restaurants, cafes, arts, and a killer sandwich shop. Close to the Sequoia entrance great launching pad to explore Sequoia-Kings. Don’t miss the opportunity to stay here if visiting the area.

Cleaning protocol at the house includes: After cleaning all surfaces, my caretaker Kori wipes down all surfaces, including door knobs, TV remotes, light switches, handrails with Lysol disinfectant. Hand sanitizer will be available at the house for the foreseeable future. This spacious, rustic cabin on river frontage property has an established trail on property that leads to the Kaweah River. Experience glorious views of Morro Rock and Alta Peak from your kitchen. A 10 min. drive to Sequoia.
The cabin sits on an acre of property leading into the the main fork of the Kaweah River. Parking is allowed in the driveway only, not on the street. The driveway accommodates two vehicles. No more than five guests are permitted to stay at this house. As an older cabin, for a number of reasons, it cannot support more guests. If it is found that more guests than originally reported to the host would be staying at the house, the stay will be forfeited. If it is found after the fact, a $50 per day, per person, will be charged to the guest through Airbnb. The only reliable cell service in 3Rivers is A.T.andT. It works at the house and in most of Three Rivers. A required Tulare County 10% Occupancy Tax has already been factored into the reservation cost.
Most of the homes on Dinely Drive are older, built as honeymoon homes/cabins in the the 1940s for returning veterans. On Dinely, you are within 5 miles of the entrance to Sequoia National Park. Mineral King Road is even closer and leads to endless hiking and numerous camping spots. There is a great mountain biking area with miles of trails off Skyline Drive, just 10 minutes from the house. I provide guide books and maps at the house.
  • Thank you Sue! Great place and amazing scenery. Cool River right across the street and close to the national Park. Three Rivers is a charming little town. We had a great time and would go again!!

    Matthew2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Sue’s place is beautiful! There’s a short trail that leads to a river where the scenery is absolutely beautiful and that’s where my husband and baby and I hung out when not exploring Sequoia. Behind the house is a hill that was blooming with wildflowers. The house is very cute and comfortable and has a great porch with mountain views. It’s also a short drive to get into the park. We hope to come back here again!

  • Sue’s home is the perfect getaway for those looking to relax and explore the beautiful surrounding nature and sequoias. Finding the house and checking in was so easy. Sue also responded promptly when we’d reach out for recommendations or requests. The house is large, clean and quiet (with the exceptional creaking of the hard wood floors, which adds charm!) My favorite part about the home was the doggy fence setup on the porch. We were able to enjoy freshly brewed coffee on the porch every morning with our dog. I miss it already!

  • Great cabin close to Sequoia and Three Rivers! Sue was super quick to respond to us (had someone refill the grill propane within 30 minutes of messaging her) and gave a great hike suggestion for the park. Loved the deck and how spacious the house was.

  • Fantastic cabin very close to Sequoia National Park (15 minutes) and close to amenities in Three Rivers (10 minutes) but felt sufficiently secluded. The cabin had great views of the mountains and river as well. Sue was extremely helpful in checking in as well as suggestions for trails and local hot spots! Definitely an amazing find.

  • Huge place with 3 comfortable double rooms! The master bed room is something out of a dream!

This area has gorgeous views of sunsets, especially from the second story deck.

  • I have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs around the world and this is one of the best... The value, communication, location, thoughtful touches and absolutely great home really exceeded our groups expectations. We cooked a beautiful salmon dinner on the grill (kitchen had everything we needed) and watched a gorgeous sunset. We looked at the moon through the telescope and had wine on a beautiful balcony. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the host was amazing at communicating. Could not ask for a better Sequoia home, especially for the price!

  • We thoroughly enjoyed this AirBnb! It is very spacious, and it accommodate our group of seven perfectly! It was equipped with everything we needed to take care of our hygiene as well as all the essential cooking utensils. The location is great! It’s very close to the national park and the views from the cabin are amazing as well. I would definitely stay here again!

    Reuben2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • I am certain this cabin is more upgraded than other surrounding rooms, especially the kitchen area, which is always a plus. The host was kind enough to turn on the heaters before we arrived, which is not something that has been done by other hosts I have stayed with. It really made a difference. Also, they had left a bunch of waters and snacks, making you feel more at ease at nighttime. The market was just across the street as advertised! There were also a bunch of towels in the bathroom and they had provided shampoo/body wash. It was also very considerate of the host to accurately describe the phone/ WiFi situation, making it less stressful and making you more prepared. The common area had a TV with Netflix and an L couch, which kept us entertained at night. The entrance of the park is very close! It makes it easier if you’re trying to save time in the morning.

Not very spacious, but we love it, a good travel experience!Close to the river and the Kings Canyon park, opposite there is a store and restaurant. We try the Tacos and different beers.

Luxury mountain view yurt/roundhouse sits on half an acre with mature oaks. Large windows & spacious deck allow for beautiful mountain views. This unique yurt/roundhouse features 1 bath, 1 bdrm with a queen bed & great room on main level.
It is the only yurt/roundhouse in Three Rivers and Sequoia. The bedroom and bath are on the same level as the great room and kitchen. There is an upstairs loft area which is accessed by the spiral staircase. The yurt does have cell phone reception, although the only cell service that works in Three Rivers is AT&T at this time and sometimes Verizon. You can use the WiFi to make calls, if your phone allows, if you don't have AT&T or Verizon. We do have a land line for our guests to use. The yurt is NOT pet friendly. There are basic condiments to prepare sandwiches, individually packaged butter, cooking oil and assorted basic spices. There is a full-size range and quality cookware and a set of chef's knives and steak knives. There is dinnerware, eating & cooking utensils, glasses/wine glasses for your use during your stay at the yurt. The kitchen is well equipped and we try to make this your home away from home. There are quality linens, plush towels and bath amenities for our guests. There is a propane BBQ located on the back patio. PLEASE NOTE: NO SMOKING INSIDE. We are located in an extremely high-fire risk/danger area. Please note NO ANIMALS of any kind are allowed. The property is allergy-free due to owners' family being highly allergic to animal hair and dander. This poses a severe health hazard to hosts' family members and therefore there are no exceptions to this rule. You will not be allowed to check-in, your reservation will be canceled and a $200 deep cleaning fee will be assessed.
Three Rivers was nominated as one of the coolest small towns in 2010. The charming small town of Three Rivers has a wonderful sense of community and hosts an amazing array of art, music and Western-themed events.
  • Awesome place, will definitely try and come back one day!

    Madison2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • What can you say about perfection? We arrived feeling stressed and burned out and left rejuvenated. The location is just 2 miles from the park entrance and perfect for visiting every day. Richard and Jeanie were fantastic hosts - every detail you could think of was taken care of. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked, everything was spotlessly clean and it was a great place to come home to after a long day hiking. We loved the sit out area in the back - it was a great place to enjoy morning coffee and listen to the birds. There was a binder with detailed instructions and local tips which was super helpful. It was a fabulous stay and we’re already planning to return.

    Nicole2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful place to stay that is both close to Sequoia National Park and the perfect location for a nice getaway. Jeanie and Richard are such great hosts and communicators and made every effort to make our stay amazing. There were thoughtful touches and amenities all throughout the yurt and we got to enjoy wine with a view one night as well. We hope to stay here again when we visit Sequoia. Such a beautiful, unique, clean and wonderful space for a nature getaway.

    Liana2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures can never compare to how stunning the views are this place overlooks, we loved every minute there and wish we stayed longer. The yurt itself is very interesting in its design and very unique to anything we have ever stayed in. We stayed here at the start of February and it hand no trouble staying warm and cozy. If you are planning to visit sequoia national park like we did then this is prime location and better then anything we saw on the way up.

    Emma2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • This was the most comfortable stay we could have asked for. Richard and Jeanie thought of EVERYTHING we could need (and some things we didn’t know we needed) The yurt was very, very private and located in a nice, friendly area of Three Rivers. The proximity to the park entrance was unbeatable, and their rules were simple and easy to follow. This felt like home, and our time there was unforgettable. Worth every penny. Xx

If you want to maintain your fitness goals while getting away from it all, then this is your spot. When not renting for ABnB, we’re a gym for one-on-one personal training. *Unfortunately we ARE NOT set up for: •KIDS •WiFi •COOKING •SMOKING •PETS •RIVER ACCESS •PARTIES We’re 3 miles from SNP gate, great restaurants & a micro-brewery. Enjoy a full gym & club quality equipment. With a queen bed in the bedroom & an optional ($30 charge) sofa bed, relax or sweat to the sound of the river.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! This is a private working gym with a client/trainer schedule, so our time is valuable - you must COMMUNICATE with us, especially your ARRIVAL TIME estimate. **READ the HOUSE MANUAL. We close down training of clients to offer you a one bedroom apartment/studio. We do not charge a cleaning fee or any deposit. When you book with us, the per night fee is all there is (one exception - see *** below); everything is included in that charge. EXTRA BED? A 3RD GUEST? We cater to COUPLES (or a couple with one child 15 years or older; or one adult travel companion). We can accommodate 3 guests max (for the additional charge of $70/night for the 3rd guest). >We have one queen sized bed in the bedroom and one full size sofa bed in the gym ($30 fee). (See below ***) ***If you are a couple, or just two friends traveling together (2 guests), but you’d prefer to have the sofa bed (in the gym area) made out, we will request a $30 additional fee. There’s a 3/4 bath (shower/sink/toilet), kitchenette (not set up for cooking) with sink, microwave, mini fridge and all meal utensils (cups, bowls, knives, forks, etc.). There is no smoking allowed anywhere on the property *** We have a large breed dog and three cats on the property. If you are allergic to animals, be assured, they are never allowed inside the apartment, but they are friendly and may greet you outside. We are situated on the middle fork of the Kaweah River. You can see and hear the river. In early summer, you’ll see guided rafting tours and kayakers. Please DO NOT venture down to the water; the river flows through private property that does not belong to us. You must keep your showers to no more than ten (10) minutes due to our limited septic water system. This is the main reason we limit our guests to 3; We live here and also have to use water.
This is a mountainous area with few neighbors. The town has a population of 2600 with very little crime. There are a list of things that crawl, fly and walk around up here but that’s the trade off when you leave city life. Don’t be surprised to see a bobcat, Bear, red tailed hawk, deer or many other wild animals.
  • Great spot to stay if you’re traveling to Sequoia or Kings Canyon. The place was very cute, had everything we needed, and very spacious. Devin and Priscilla were very sweet, communicative and responsive to our questions about travel tips or when we couldn’t figure out the DVD player! Definitely would come back again!

    Ryan2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Devin & Priscilla are amazing hosts in the beautiful little town of Three Rivers. We had an awesome time checking out the Sequoias and making our way back to the 3R Fit Pit. We would definitely go back again!

  • Very nice place at the gates of Sequoia Park. Devin and Priscilla are full of attention for their travelers. I would go back with my eyes closed.

    Franck2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Surpassed my expectations. Fabulous hosts who greeted us as we arrived and even had a custom welcome sign. Had I needed anything I’m sure they would be more than hospitable. The place was extremely clean and had so many extra touches to make the stay more comfortable. We didn’t take advantage of it, but there is a patio you can just sit around and listen to the sounds of the river. Location was perfect for visiting Sequoia - only about a 15 minute drive to the entrance and just around an hour from the most popular attractions. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting sequoia.

Our neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. We are on a dead end street and not a lot of traffic on our road. Neighbors are pretty much Senior Citizens and not too many homes in this rural neighborhood. The views are very nice of the hills and the trees are beautiful. We have a bike trail not too far in our area on BLM land. Bring your bikes and enjoy nice trails to ride and beautiful creeks and views.
  • This is a great easy location in Three Rivers convenient to the park, a nice place to relax in the evening after a hike and close to the restaurants in town. It’s spacious and comfortable and was a great spot to land for a winter weekend exploring Sequoia park. Check in and out was very easy.

  • Thank you Martha! Your place was great!

    Michelle2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures don’t do the studio justice. It is very spacious with thoughtful touches. We enjoyed relaxing in the bath and watching TV after hiking during the day. Great location near Sequoia.

    Sarah2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, quiet, amenities like DirecTV, cookware to make a meal, and a heater to keep warm in the winter, and about 3 miles from the Sequoia National Park entrance. Would stay again! Thanks, Martha!

    Julie2019-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • Martha’s place was beautiful. It was way bigger then expected and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a coffee maker which was great. We arrived a little early and Martha let us check in early which was amazing since we were tired after a long drive. The studio was really private and the area super quiet and peaceful. Definirely would recommend her place.

    Erika2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay for Sequoia NP! 5 minutes from the park entrance. Make sure to check the weather and road condition in the park before your visit!

    Michael2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Martha's place was very clean, and I liked that we were able to do self check in. There was all the basic cooking necessities, and the studio apartment was temperature controlled for the chilly nights. The bed was comfortable, and for being a studio, it was spacious. I will say, if you are someone who likes to sleep in, this may not be the place for you. There were chickens and a dog right outside the window, so you will likely be woken up pretty early by animal noises. If you're planning on getting up early anyway, or like the feeling of being out in the country, then it won't be a problem :). It didn't bother us too much because the chickens generally stop making noise after about 5 minutes.

    Katherine2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Martha is a very responsive host when issues arise. If you do not need her help for anything you will enjoy a very private stay. The property is situated on a hillside, and outside your window are chickens and a cute little Corgi who barks occasionally. The water is from a well, so if that’s not your thing then you should plan to bring your water (I did) or get bottled. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare all my meals. The bed is super comfortable. It is a short drive to Sequoia National Park entrance. If you are interested in a great local hike there is Salt Creek trail just above Martha’s house. Highly recommend!!

Our newly constructed guesthouse was built specifically to accommodate travelers seeking a quiet retreat near Sequoia National Park. The place is strategically located 3 miles from The Park's main entrance and 20 miles to the entrance of Mineral King--a standalone section of The Park with excellent hiking trails. We are nestled up on a hill with spectacular views. Although the region is rural, our guesthouse features creature comforts like a full kitchen, A/C, and wi-fi.
The guesthouse is a separate building located twenty yards behind the main house when you drive up. Guests must walk up a flight of stairs shown in pictures to get to the guesthouse entrance. Once inside, guests will notice the high ceilings, laminate hardwood floors, ample natural light in the main living area and bedroom. In the warm months, ceiling fans and air-conditioning cool the guesthouse. In the winter, the built-in heater keeps the place warm. Plenty of spare blankets and sheets, stored in the guesthouse, help guests stay comfortable. All windows have blinds for shade and privacy. The entire property is fenced and the driveway is gated. The guesthouse sleeps 4 with the brand-new queen-sized mattress in the bedroom and the two hidden twin-sized beds (see pictures) in the living room. The well-stocked kitchen features many new stainless-steel appliances (e.g., oven-range, microwave, toaster, refrigerator-freezer, coffee maker, blender, standmixer), cookware (e.g., pots, pans, knives cutlery), and serving ware (e.g., mugs, glasses, wine glasses, plates, bowls, silverware). We can accommodate up to 2 parked guest vehicles. The space measures a total of 572 sq. ft. perfect for up to 4 adults or a small family, for a cozy weekend getaway or hikers' retreat.
Three Rivers is small vibrant community known as 'the Gateway to the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park'. This is a beautiful rural area with trails and views that turn green to golden with the seasons. Travelers come here to visit the Park, enjoy the lake and river, and see the magnificent views. The town itself has several restaurants, two small markets, a coffee shop, a well-known sandwich shop, two hardware stores, and post office. We also share the land with a variety of creatures. As such, caution should be used when encountering the wildlife including deer, bears, coyotes, bobcats, snakes, eagles, mice, etc., Caution should be used to avoid them.
  • Lovely, comfortable home with excellent amenities plus outstanding views, attentive and caring hosts, and excellent location to Sequoia National Park. Can’t get any better than this!

  • Great Hostess! Very welcoming and sweet couple! The view of the guest house was amazing and my kids enjoyed seeing the farm animals! Everything was 10x better than we anticipated! I would recommend everyone to stay at this AirBNB if they are wanting a weekend trip to Sequoia.

  • I would recommend this place again and again. I will definitely come back and spend more time next time!

  • This lovely couple offers a relaxing, quiet, clean getaway just 2 miles to the entrance to sequoia national park. The bed was so comfortable, I hadn’t slept that well in a long time :) My daughter had the best time of all visiting with the goats, chickens & donkeys on the property!

  • Neil and Patti were great hosts! They are super friendly and accommodating. This space was even better than I expected! I would definitely recommend this space to my friends and family.

  • We loved our stay at Neal’s place! The views were staggering and Patti and Neal were fantastic hosts. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

    Kelsie2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Best hosts! Neal and Patti are the cutest couple and they made us feel at home. The house is beyond amazing with great views and all amenities!

    Akshat2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent hosts, very caring and attentive. Gave us valuable advice while traveling in the sequoias. Patti and Neal let us even borrow some of their winter wear because we weren’t prepared for the snow storm. The place was extremely clean and organized, it had all the little Amenities that you would hope for in an airBNB but rarely ever have. We honestly felt like we were visiting family instead of staying at someone’s home. The farm animals were adorable. Dream airBNB!!!

  • Overall fab experience, it's located in an area that's super convenient. With a cute little general store and restaurant right across the street! It was also a really close drive to the park entrance which was great. The cabin itself was very clean, cozy and had several homey touches. We enjoyed our stay there thoroughly!

  • A wonderful place to stay! Really close to the park entrance. The heater worked very well and the outside fire pit made our meals very enjoyable! We would recommend this location to anyone and everyone!

    Steven2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • I loved that they accepted my reservation last minute, which was the day of arrival. It was a short, quick little getaway and close. I really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit that was easy to use. The best part was the nearby river which I loved! It was far enough to get away from work life yet close enough to still be close to stores and gas stations.

  • Lori’s place is very clean, beautiful and comfortable. It makes you feel like home. They have a wonderful backyard, very well decorated. The location has a great view and it’s only 1/2 mile from the Park. Lori’s hospitality was great! They respond quick. They are very kind people. Mr. Rose helped us by referring us to auto repair shops for our car, since we experienced problems with our brakes. They know the area and can help you if you seek for their advice.

  • I really can’t rave enough about this house. Having used AirBnB for the last few years and all around the world, I can guarantee that Lori is one of the best hosts I have ever interacted with. When I booked the house, I had mentioned to her that we were going to Sequoia for our engagement photos and she sent me a long list of places in town and in the park which actually saved me the headache. On top of that she always communicated new location weeks before we even went. The house itself is pretty spacious and comfortable for a family with young children, with all the amenities you need for a longer stay. Honestly, and I stress this enough, the location alone is a huge sell because even at 12pm on a Sunday there was an almost 2 mile long line of cars literally going 2mph just trying to get into the park and you skip most of it because the house is on that main road. You can save yourself at least 30min to an hour since you are pretty much cutting the line. The nearest grocery store is about a 5 min drive and the entrance to the park is about the same. I really wish we could have stayed longer, but we are already making plans to stay here again next winter.

  • Lori's place is amazing. We were all blown away because of how nice the place is when entered. The place is so close to the Sequoia NPS's entrance makes it so convenient for us to visit the park every day stayed. It's also close to restaurants and markets. We loved hanging out in the open living room next to the fireplace and stargazing in the backyard. Lori replied quickly about the place and provided us with so many tips. She is an amazing host!

    Troy2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about Lori's place was wonderful. Being less than 1 miles from the visitor center was a major advantage. Their place was very well setup and they added thoughtful touches throughout the house. Will definitely stay here again if I ever visit sequoia.

  • This was the perfect home for our New Years Getaway in the mountains. The house was clean and cozy. Thank you Lori and John for making your home extra special for us. We will be back!

    Yesenia2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our family really enjoyed our stay at Lori's house. The place is warm and welcoming equipped with everything you would need. Lori even let us use her pack and play which helped my baby sleep well in the vacation. I highly recommend her house while visiting Sequoia National Park.

  • Lori & John’s house is far beyond my expectation. Every detail can show the good taste of life, like the Christmas style napkin, the elegant paintings on the wall and the yard with grapefruit & orange & pomegranate trees. In addition, the house has a wonderful kitchen with sufficient kitchenwares. Very convenient to cook. I would definitely recommend this house to my friends who plan to visit Sequoia NP.
