Enchanted place in the woods, guarded by a giant beech whose branches caressing the walls of the house. Very cozy and comfortable for a multitude of destinations and excursions, mountain and maritime. Certainly return!

We were guests in this apartment in the center of Calizzano for two nights. The house is lovely, very well equipped and very cool and quiet. Frederick is a wonderful host, friendly and helpful. For example, on arrival we had no problem to hand over the keys, even though we arrived in the evening. Near the apartment, in the main street of the village, there are several stores in which to shop and 20 steps (no more) from home is the laboratory where Federico produces excellent preserves, delicious jams (we tried the apricot) and seasonal mushrooms of Calizzano! In addition to walks in the woods in the area, from Calizzano you can also leave for a day of sea (the town is 25 km away from Finale Ligure, along a road between the charming forests) and go home in the evening in a relaxed place. We had a great time!

The house is really beautiful (the photos do not do justice) and in a great and charming location. The acceptance and availability of the owner were impeccable. Recommended without any doubt!

We stayed at 7 in the home of Frederick. The welcome was great. Frederick had delegated an acquaintance because we arrived very late at a time when he could not. It was explained to all working and the keys handed over. The apartment is very comfortable, is located right in the center of Calizzano, the owner we had turned on the beautiful wood stove and made finding a little 'wood for the weekend. We stayed very well. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles and a single, a very nice living room with sofa bed and 2 bathrooms. In the house nothing is missing, sheets, towels, the kitchen is well equipped. Calizzano is a charming village from which to hiking and nature walks in search of mushrooms and of which the area is rich.

Lovely little B&B in a pretty town. Room was basic but clean and with everything you need. Good breakfast too!

Wonderful accommodation in a country to be discovered. Gracious in giving me directions, the room had a balcony overlooking the village, at breakfast delicious cakes and jams. Absolutely we recommend a visit at this facility so old and full of history.

A truly unique experience living in such an ancient building. It has all the amenities and in the same time the furniture is authentic. Location is in downtown and the views to the mountains are amazing. The host was very nice and friendly. We received a very pleasant Italian breakfast in the morning.

The house is beautiful, garden very romantic, planted with magical jasmine. The bed and the bathroom were clean and comfortable to use. We had access to everything and the host supported us with whatever we needed. He arranged parking for us and was accessible on the phone. We were hosted by Luciano. Our experience would have been perfect if I could understand Italian and read the listing correctly. I expected entire apartment with available kitchen. We did have access to the kitchen but as the host was using it to cook, I did not feel it was completely available. The other problem that was probably part of me not speaking Italian was the dinner arrangement. The owner called us before we arrived and asked if we wanted fish or meat. I was surprised but said what we preferred. On arrival he cooked very delicious dinner for us. But it was too big, maybe two times what we could eat. And we had to pay for all of it. It would be nice to have the option to choose first what items we would eat and to decide if the price is good for us.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay in Osiglia in this charming historical house in a small mountain village near a lake. Federica welcomed us at our arrival with a plate of homemade cookies. The house is absolutely beautiful and unique. When you enter the house, you step back in time and are surrounded by vintage personal objects, paintings and furniture. The garden is lovely, we and the children enjoyed eating outside every day, visiting with Federica's aunt and picking plums with her. The lake is nearby and is lovely for walks, but swimming is a bit complicated as there are not many beaches. The village of Osiglia is isolated but there is everything you need - a bakery, a butcher, a grocer, an ATM and even a delicious restaurant serving pizza and fresh trout! The drive to the Italian Riviera is spectacular along winding country roads and sea views (around 40 minutes by car). Finale Borgo, Varigotti and Varezzi are not to be missed. There is also an option of having home cooked meals by a personal chef but we rented the whole house and did our own meals.
