  • I really enjoyed my stay at Dasha & Owen's place. I stayed two nights, while on business. It was great to be able to prepare a meal and stay in and work one evening, rather than eat out. There is a full set of spices, olive oil, and balsamic-- everything you need to enjoy a light meal. A hair dryer, iron, shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash-- all were provided and were great for business travel. I had an excellent night of sleep, as the bed in this unit is exceptionally comfortable. I loved the modern finishes, and thought for value this loft is a real gem. I will stay again in the future, while on business in the Chicagoland area.

  • Dasha's place is fantastic! It's super clean and appears to be professionally designed. It's in a nice neighborhood, and it's not too far from all the main attractions. She's responsive and professional. We'll stay here again next time we return to Chicago!

  • Stylish, clean space with a fantastic location and very friendly hosts! Definitely recommend!

    Lauren2018-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Dasha is the perfect host! The apartment is stylish and beautifully decorated with all the amenities you would want or need. The bed is one of the most comfortable I've had on my travels. Very convenient to restaurants and stores. Enjoyed watching NetFlix and Amazon shows on the super big TV. The neighborhood has a great mixture of older Polish and younger folks! All of which are nice and helpful.

    Kathy2017-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Dasha & Owen’s place was great! It looks EXACTLY as pictured. Everything was sparkling clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the decor was absolutely stunning! We had a wonderful stay. My only advice would be research the area, and try to enter the property during the daytime rather than at night. We stayed on a Saturday night, and we arrived around 9pm. It was obviously dark out, and there was a party happening in the connecting building. There was a crowd of young adults all smoking and drinking at the base of the door through which we had to enter, which was uncomfortable to walk through. Overall, though, we had a great stay!

    Briana2018-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous loft and extremely comfortable bed! Free parking spot was a plus for the parking prices in the city were quite pricey. Dasha and Owen replied promptly to my messages and offered suggestions of yummy restaurants in the area!

    Katarina2018-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully designed studio! Dasha is very quick to respond if you need anything. I would definitely stay there again.

Located in Humboldt Park, 6 miles from downtown, this basement studio is perfect for a stay in Chicago. We are located on a strip with approximately 11 houses and no houses across. There is a lot of Park area. At night it's a quiet neighborhood. We are located half a block away from the bus to Navy Pier, approx. 45 minutes to get to Navy Pier. There is free street parking available with NO parking permit required. There is a pool (only in summer) and park access half a block away.
Our lovely basement is fully equipped with everything you may need. From a kitchen where you can prepare all your meals to a comfy bed with linens included for a good night sleep. Feel free to peak inside the closet and the vanity in the bathroom, you will find some useful toiletries you forgot back at home. The building is 3 stories. The Basement, 1st Floor and 2nd Floor. Both the Basement and the 1st floor are rented out thru airbnb. Because this house is more than 100 years old and the wooden floors are the original floors, the footsteps, tv, talking, etc. from the floors above can be heard downstairs in the basement. If you are a light sleeper I don't recommend staying here even though we do provide ear plugs just in case. IMPORTANT: You can hear the walking from upstairs, when people shower or move stuff across the floor. Some guests aren't picky about this but others are so please be aware. I believe that what makes us different are the small details. We can guarantee a comfy, cozy and clean space. We take pride in hosting and love to please our guests as much as we can. If requested, pets may be allowed to stay! I am a dog lover myself! IMPORTANT: If more than 2 would like to stay, please note that it's one KING sized bed and one PULL-OUT sofa.
Please take a minute to look at all the pictures. There you will find pictures of the neighborhood, Humboldt Park. During the day it's lovely to walk around but at night it's a quiet residential strip of 12 houses. It's located 6 miles (9km) from downtown.
  • Chicago was the first stop on my trip across the country, and what an amazing choice I made to stay at Corals place! The apartment was cute and cozy, and more than exceeded my expectations. The bed was the best part, so so so comfy, I didn't want to ever get up! This was my first airbnb experience and I couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend staying here, I know the next time I travel to Chicago I will be!

    Laura2015-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • Coral was great. She kept us informed, even when she was out of town. The apartment was easy to park at, easy to get in, and very, very well stocked. She had anything you could have needed. The apartment was clean and cute. Loved how well stocked the kitchen was, for anyone staying longer and cooking. Great place!

    Sarah2016-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay in Chicago!! Coral made us feel so welcome and at home! She added so many little touches to her place and left things in case your forgot anything it was available there for use. You can tell she really cares about her guests and wants you to feel welcome. If I ever go to Chicago again I will defienetley be staying here!

    Theresa2016-04-06T00:00:00Z
  • Coral's place is beautiful. Her whole apartment is well stocked. She is a good communicator and responds quickly if you have a problem. She even made us some breakfast on Thanksgiving day as a gesture of staying in her apartment. Will definitely stay at her apartment in future!

    Vaibhav2016-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • While Coral and her mother Nancy were not available upon our arrival, their directions for entering the apartment were clear and easy to follow. The basement has great air conditioning and super fast internet. Nancy was very charming and welcoming. The location is fantastic, only about 6 miles to the magnificent mile and many amazing food locales within 10 or 15 minutes. When we vacation in Chicago again, we will be looking to stay here.

    Travis2014-07-18T00:00:00Z

Situated in the Belmont Theater District in the heart of Lakeview that includes 20 theaters and 100 restaurants and bars, you are steps away from Lake Michigan, Belmont Harbor, Wrigley Field, the Vic Theater, Annoyance Theater, Metro, Briar Street Theater, the Mercury Theater, and many more....
We have 1 king bed in bedroom and sleeper sofa in living room (sleeper couch) good for small 2 - can use as well very comfortable queen air matress that is in closet/outomatic pump/ready in 4 min
One of the most sought-after areas of the city, the Chicago neighborhood of Lakeview is the most populated area in the Midwest largely due to its great dining, shopping and nightlife. It is a very young neighborhood, with much of its population under 30, as housing is slightly cheaper than neighborhoods nearer to the Loop. But its four mile proximity to the Loop makes it a prime real estate destination. Lakeview It is also home to the Chicago Cubs' Wrigley Field, and a part of the neighborhood is named for it. The many bars and restaurants are always full, especially during baseball season when they feed and entertain thousands of fans. The Wrigleyville section of Lakeview is bounded by Halsted, Ashland, Roscoe and Byron. There are more than 600 retail stores on the east side alone and Diversey, Clark, Halsted and Broadway boast strong commercial development. Chicago's gay district is located in Lakeview East in an area known as "Boy's Town". The population is diverse and alternative lifestyles are celebrated and embraced.
  • Good facility and accommodation.

  • Our stay in Chicago was great! We were in walking distance of Wrigley field, restaurants, and plenty of bars. Irena was very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Highly recommended!

    John2017-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location and apartment! Next to the Belmont "red" line and a short walk to Wrigley.

    sam2017-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Located right next to red line and only a stop down from Wrigley Park. Beds were very uncomfortable and pull out bed wasn't much better. Place was very clean and it had things like a keurig and all things needs for a shower.

    Conner2017-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • Irena's place is a perfect location! It is very clean and comfortable, with great style. You'll feel right at home the moment you arrive!

    oldfashionang2016-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • My first impression was that the place was extremely clean, which I found relaxing. The bed was comfortable and there are lots of extra pillows and blankets available. The tub is one of the largest I've been in. The apartment was plenty warm on a January night, and very quiet apart from normal city street noise. I didn't use the kitchen much but it had everything you would want. I had a busy schedule so I didn't get to see too much of the neighborhood, but it had a lot to offer and I would definitely come back to shop and eat.

    Kevin2017-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is absolutely amazing! It literally reminds you of a beautiful warm inviting home. The location is right in the middle of everything without being very noisy and chaotic. It was extremely clean and accommodating . Also, if you are one that likes to cook, everything is provided for you. I highly recommend this spot. The price is awesome for all the amazing things that you are surrounded by and the beautiful place that you are staying in.

The Spartan offers basic, convenient and well priced stay in one of the best neighborhoods in Chicago. It's located very close to grocery stores, transportation, night life, museums, and the beach. You will be staying in a well equipped condo all to yourself, not a shared room. My place is great for solo adventurers, couples, and business travelers. I can be flexible on special requests and dates - don't be shy, ask and I will try to accommodate.
Well equipped small studio makes a perfect stay for a short visit or somebody traveling on a budget.
During the summer, Farmers Market is every Saturday and Sunday on Division street. Follow Dearborn down to Division st and turn RIGHT/West. Fresh produce from local growers delivered from across the state.
  • Beautiful and convenient location! Easy place with all we needed for our stay!

    Rosemary & Stuart2017-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • I booked Kirill's place for my boyfriend & I to stay for a long weekend. We both have never been to Chicago and I was really excited when I saw how convenient its location was. Everything was as described, and it was perfect for what we were looking for. Kirill was also extremely helpful with sending recommended spots to check out, as well as making sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. He was a great host and I highly recommend the Spartan for a couple or someone traveling solo.

    Alison2016-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • The Spartan was conveniently located in a safe neighborhood, only a few blocks from Old Town. It was just as pictured and incredibly clean. Kirill gave great suggestions for where to go and what to do. The downside was that the studio was missing a few things that I would have expected from an Airbnb. For example, the only glassware was two mugs and one glass, there were no dish towels or pot holders, the ice tray was very small, and there were no paper towels. Although it wasn't a big deal, it was definitely an inconvenience. A few additions to the studio would make it a great place to stay.

    Katie2017-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic location, very convenient to Lincoln Park, Lake Shore Drive and to the downtown area; Kirill was great to work with and makes the process of getting in and out easy; we used public transportation throughout our stay and it was simple (and we are not city people). Apartment was just the right size for our needs.

    Eric2017-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Kirill is an excellent host. He went out of his way to make sure that I was comfortable. The apartment is a charming cozy place - perfect place to sleep, and well situated to enjoy the city.

    Jeffrey2016-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place to stay and convenient location. With a bus stop and a few train stops away, it was very easy to get around to different parts of the city. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Kirill was an awesome host who is very accommodating. He is always checking in to be sure that everything is running the way his guests expect it to.

    Tiffany2018-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • The spartan was a great stay. Close to wells street in old town, centrally located. The perfect efficiency!

My place is close to South loop, McCormick Center, the Field museum, Lake Shore drive, Soldiers Field, Roosevelt subway station, Aquarium, Planetarium, Millennial Park Waffles. You’ll love my place because of its hot area, i.e. South Loop, modern, sleek and newly renovated style, gorgeous granite counter-tops, rustic wood floors, HUGE windows, in-unit washers and dryers, new patio and BBQ grill and phenomenal views of the city... Parking is available for $20 per day per car in a building garage
You will love our modern two-bedroom apartment. Our sleek and newly renovated loft feature granite countertops, polished concrete or wood flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows, in-unit washers and dryers, and phenomenal views of the city. Enjoy the convenience of a fitness center, on-site dry cleaning, a sky garden with a fire pit and BBQ grills, a dog run, a private resident park, and a wireless internet lounge. We are just steps away from restaurants, shopping, museums, Lake Michigan and the Roosevelt CTA.
The South Loop / Downtown neighborhood is home to many famous venues, destinations, and business hubs. The South Loop is such a dynamic mix of attractions and histories that the neighborhood tends to be seen as many different things to many different people. Consider the assorted areas that comprise the South Loop: Much of its eastern edge is encompassed by the Museum Campus, an impressive collection of cultural treasures that includes the Field Museum, Adler Planetarium and Shedd Aquarium. This campus sits on scenic lakefront parklands that are an extension of Grant Park. With 319 acres of green space and recreational fields, Grant Park is known as "Chicago's front yard" to locals and also plays host to major city events such as Taste of Chicago, Chicago Blues Festival and Lollapalooza. Jutting out further into Lake Michigan is Northerly Island, a peninsula sought out by nature lovers, while along the southern edge the sports fans know Soldier Field as the stadium for the beloved Chicago Bears football team. Meeting attendees are most familiar with McCormick Place, the largest convention center in the country, which is also in the immediate area.
  • The apartment is very modern and cozy. We really love our experience there. Even though the metro is close to one of the bedroom, you won't hear much noice, I didn't!

    Peichen2017-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • The host canceled this reservation 20 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

  • Aparment was fantastic very close to everything downtown and the host was amazing. Would definitely rent this location again 5 stars!!

    Tyler2016-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice but not perfect experience. For the same price we could have stayed in a hotel with half as much space, but with better service, location, quieter windows, etc. So, not a slam dunk but tradeoffs. Loved the large windows looking north. Nice roof deck and gym right across the hall. Asked for help closing a broken window but never received it during our 3-night stay. Train noise wasn't too bad. Liked walking to museums, train, restaurants.

    Ted2017-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • The stay was amazing beyond belief! I loved the view! Will be staying here on our next trip my wife & I

    Roberto2018-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • This place is gorgeous!!!!! Marina really takes care of you by providing a great place with just about everything you need to feel at home. The in-house washer dryer were so handy and allowed us to pack fewer clothes. Marina's communication was detailed and quick! We will be back! 5 stars across the board. This was an amazing first experience for me with air bnb. I only hope I am this lucky in the future.

    Christopher2016-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, right on the bus line and so close to the fun city of Chicago...

    Claudia2018-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Oleg's place is just as it appears in the pictures. Very nice, and nicely appointed. The building is great and the outdoor patio/workout/ community space is on the same floor and easily accessible. Walking to my daughter in the heart of downtown took 15 minutes. There is also a lot of food, drink and park space in walking distance to the south. Yes, it is close to transit and you'll hear the train and traffic, but that's really just part of staying in the city. The living room windows give a nice view of downtown. We had front row seats to watch a thunderstorm roll into the city, which we all enjoyed! I'd recommend this place to others.

  • Great location and lovely apartment. Very comfortable and well kept. Would highly recommend it. Only had one question and Irena gave us information immediately. Thank you for a lovely stay!

    Judy2016-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Irena's place was perfect. Great location, easy to get to trains and cabs. Even with all the commotion at Wrigley, her place still was a nice quiet retreat after a day of sight seeing. Highly recommend.

    Renata2015-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Irena's place was perfect for our trip to Chicago. We had 5 adults and a baby. The master bedroom had a small nook that was perfect for a pack n play for the baby to sleep in! The neighborhood was lively and had many restaurants just steps from the apartment. If you need quiet, I would say to not stay over the weekend as we could hear a lot of commotion up in the apartment even with the windows closed. Although the apartment was very clean, the rug outside of the shower smelled like mildew after the first person took a shower. When we arrived, the dishwasher was full of clean dishes that weren't put away and the dryer full of towels that had just been dried. I felt like these things should have been taken care of, especially considering the cleaning fee. We also were disappointed with the cable channels but that wasn't a huge issue (Hallmark channel but no TBS). All in all, we would likely stay here again!

    Jessica2017-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you!!

    Heidi2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Irena is a perfect host for airbnb. The home was exactly as described, fully equipped and in a great part of town. We planned on taking the train everywhere, but ended up just walking. If your planning on hanging out in Wrigleyville/Boytown/Lincoln Park this is a great place to stay. It's 500 yards from the train so you can get pretty much anywhere. Loved the place, we were 6 and fit comfortably and would stay again. Thank you Irena!

Enjoy the low season when our prices are lower than summer, often $40 to $60/night lower. An exceptional value to enjoy all that Chicago has to offer. A large and sunny 2 bedroom 2nd floor walk up. Features big windows, a front & back sitting room, a fully appointed kitchen with oven, stove, Keurig, coffee press, great treetop views, and only a 7 minute walk to the train. Edgewater is a great neighborhood with restaurants, bars, and stores nearby. Close to Andersonville and Rogers Park, too.
Each of the guest rooms sleeps two, is furnished with a queen bed, dresser, closet with hangers, and separate keyed entry. The spacious kitchen is equipped for cooking with full set of dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glasses, and cups.
Historic Edgewater Glen is a quiet, safe neighborhood. It has a walking score of 91 which makes it perfect for those who want to explore Chicago on foot or by train. Fantastic restaurants and other amenities (market, dry cleaner, bars, coffee shops, etc.) are all only a block or two away. Free on street parking is available for those coming by car and depending on the time of day is typically easy to find.
  • We had a great visit to Chicago and absolutely loved the apartment! Everything was neat and clean with everything we could have possibly needed. We loved the neighborhood as well. Parking, however, can be a challenge.!

    Stacey2014-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Even better than I thought it would be. Very clean, warm, comfortable apartment. We were not expecting the maid to come everyday. Added bonus!

  • Amy & Holly were great! They met us upon our arrival and showed us around the apartment. Also left a list on the fridge of where all the important things were around the apartment. They gave us suggestions of where to eat and what to do and then we didn't seem them for the rest of the time. It really felt like I was living in the city in my own place for a week. Great experience and we will definitely be back!

    Abigail2016-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay in Edgewater. Amy and Holly's home had everything we needed, was in a beautiful neighborhood, and was in a great location where we could easily access local attractions and public transportation. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Chicago.

    Annie2016-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • Place was awesome! Very clean and provided us with what was necessary. Holly & Amy were very helpful during our visit. Thanks for everything! Ps, your neighbor downstairs does not like having anyone above him, we were very respectful, but he isn't use to noise apparently.

    Nathan2016-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time in Amy and Holly's beautiful space. The spaces were clean, spacious (much bigger than in pictures!), and amenities were plentiful. The hosts were closeby, responsive to our needs when asked, and gave us our utmost privacy. The area is in a safe neighborhood, close to plenty of public transit options and nightlife options (Andersenville, Boystown, and Argyle not too far away). I highly recommend this charming place (even had me start thinking that I could perhaps move to Chicago in the future with my partner). A wonderful Chicago experience, helpful hosts, and beautiful place!

    Trung2015-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay in Amy and Holly's apartment! Although we only stayed there one day, the apartment definitely has everything needed for a longer stay. It turned out to be much more spacious than we expected, very clean and comfortable. Thank you, Amy, for greeting us and showing us around. And for the wonderful suggestions about the restaurants and shops in the area. Special thanks for the wonderful coffee, it was a great bonus on a very rainy morning!

  • Amy and Holly were super responsive and awesomely caring and loving during my stay. Holly even dropped by and brought more stuff. The space is HUGE and gorgeous and at a perfect price point. Short walk to the CTA and the neighborhood was just grand! Id definitely stay again!

100% of guests love my location- it is the best of both worlds: 5 minutes from the very center of downtown, yet quiet enough to not hear the noise at night. If you are still not convinced, please read my reviews.
  • Everything went very well! Natalia provided everything we were looking for, and allowed us to keep our luggage in her closet past the check out time, which saved us soooo much trouble. Highly recommend!

  • I STRONGLY do not recommend anyone to stay at this place if you are not willing to live with pests. My friend and I saw a centipede-looking creature moving on the wall. It was around length of a finger. My friend also saw another smaller one. It was extremely disgusting to us. But mostly importantly, Natalia never apologized, showed up nor sent anyone to resolve this issue, nor willing to give refund after I told her the situation. She just insisted that it was not harmful to people, but that creature already caused physical and mental discomfort to us. So think twice before booking this room.

  • Great location! My wife and I were able to walk to a few restaurants during the weekend we stayed. Good place that has the basics!

  • I recommend this place with no doubt

  • Highly recommend. Wish I had been able to take advantage and stayed more than one night. Clean, sparse but has everything you need. Great neighborhood and close to downtown.

  • We loved the location and neighborhood of this airbnb, there are lots of good places to eat and drink nearby and it felt friendly and safe. It was a pretty good value compared to other airbnbs available when we were looking, so I knew it might not be as high of a standard of an airbnb. It was kind of a mixed bag — the bedding and towels were clean and nice, but overall the space needed a deep clean — it looked like no one had vaccumed around the walls for a while (dust and dead bugs under the desk and by the nightstands) and the walls and cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom all needed to be wiped down. It was mildewy around the shower and a bit in the shower. Checking in and out was easy, since you get your own keycode for the door. I appreciated that there is a spot to put your baggage after checking out if you need to store it for a few hours. It was nice to have a private floor, but for us, we didn't love being in the basement. The glass blocks in the bedroom do let light in, and you can open a little vent in them, but it's not as nice as having windows. There is a "kitchenette" in the downstairs, but since it just has a microwave and hot water kettle, you're better off in the upstairs kitchen if you want to cook or make coffee. Also, there was no table so there was no place to eat downstairs on the "private floor." Overall, I think it's a good place to stay if you are looking for a good value and don't plan to spend much time in your room, but maybe not for you if you prefer a very clean space, or don't want to have to use the shared kitchen for most of your kitchen needs.

  • house was clean and comfortable and Natalia was really kind to help me to check in !

  • It was a nice place and very private with the basement to ourselves. We did not meet the host but she left us very detailed instructions. Overall a wonderful stay.

I recently purchased a brand new mattress and memory foam topper. The bed couldn't be more comfortable with the addition of high quality bedding. Come stay in Lincoln Park in comfort!
Enjoy staying in this recently redecorated large studio with high ceilings which is located in Lincoln Park! The studio has a separate kitchen space with an island perfect for eating in or to use as extra counter space in food preparation. There is ample storage space with a full size closet to store luggage and hang clothes as desired.
Lincoln Park is one of the most exciting and famous neighborhoods in Chicago! Known for its fantastic food, vibrant nightlife, close proximity to the city center and speedy public transportation options. Just outside the apartment there are fantastic food options included the Orange Cafe which is known for it's unique Chicago brunching experience. Clark street is lined with coffee shops, restaurants. If you'd like to buy food to prepare at the apartment, then you'll want to go up the street to Trader Joe's to find the ingredients make your perfect meal.
  • James was a really good host and the place was perfect for a weekend in Chicago, ideally placed with everything near reach ! I recommend this place a lot.

    Adrien2014-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, right in the heart of Lincoln Park. Close to the lake, shopping / food / bus line on Clark, and even the Fullerton L stop, James' place made for a solid central hub on our long weekend trip. The room itself was definitely small, as it's a compact studio. So while it functioned as a convenient place to crash for my trip, it wasn't necessarily somewhere I wanted to hang out for too long. Nonetheless, James was a responsive host via text and Airbnb messages, and I would recommend!

    Alison2015-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • James was really accommodating of our schedule for check-in. His place was clean and organized with everything easy to find - and the Apple TV was a bonus! Plus, the location was very convenient for getting around and had plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

    Cortney2015-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at James' apartment in Lincoln Park for 10 days, and would recommend the place to anyone. James is amiable, fair, reasonable, helpful, and highly professional. Everything in the apartment was clean, functional, and accurately described. James worked with me to accommodate my late flight and fix a key that was damaged by one of my guests. James is the best host I've experienced on Airbnb. The Lincoln Park location is clean, safe, and convenient. Several restaurants, cleaners, a gym, and bars are all within a short walk's distance from the apartment. My only criticism really doesn't pertain to James' listing at all, as it has to do with the lobby and hallway of the building where the apartment is located (although they are clean, they appear to be worn). However, what is important is that everything inside of the apartment is pleasant, comfortable, and updated. I highly recommend staying at James' apartment in Lincoln Park, and would definitely stay there again.

    Sylvester2013-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Convenient and affordable location; excellent communications with James who always responded promptly to our emails. Easy access to Divvy bikes and other mid North neighbourhoods;

Fantastic classic Chicago space in an unbeatable location. New top of the line Alexander Select Signature Mattress from Nest Bedding! This mattress is better than anything any hotel could provide.
Located in a classic Lakeview building, this new redecorated studio is larger than most in the neighborhood and has space for a sleeping area and living area in the main space. There is a separate kitchen space to cook and enjoy meals in as well.
East Lakeview is one of the most special neighborhoods in Chicago. The studio is located at the center of both the world class Boystown and Wrigleyville entertainment districts. There are also 24/7 cafes, drug stores and quick food options right out the door.
  • James was a great host. He was flexible about check in and out, left clean towels and sheets, and offered good suggestions of things to do. The location is great! Two blocks from the train and right on top of two major bus routes. The location can't be beat.

    John Henry2013-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • Check in/out process couldn't be any quicker or easier. The apartment was quiet, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Overall fantastic experience.

  • James was a great host in a great location! The studio was spacious, clean and just what I was looking for in Chicago! Would gladly book the apartment again when I come back to Chicago!

    Stephen2014-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • James' apartment is exactly as described and identical to the pictures. Wonderful location near the Belmont stop and within walking distance to Wrigley field. It was clean and a super easy check in and check out. I'll be staying here again.

  • A very great place to stay. Convenient to the Belmont stop and stores and restaurants. James was extremely flexible when I came to my check in time.

    Annalise2016-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • The space was clean and clutter free. And, the air conditioning was generously set at 60, when we arrived. The surrounding neighborhood (for us anyway), is one of the most interesting and colorful areas of Chicago. The location is also within easy walking distance of anything you could possibly want.

    Michael2015-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • James' apartment is in the perfect location if you want to be in Lakeview or Boyztown! Everything was walkable. The apartment is nice and quaint. James' was an excellent host.

    Cortney2016-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Our one night stay at James's place was just what we hoped for. James was a very gracious host and sent clear directions for how to access the apartment as he was unable to meet us upon arrival. Everything was clean and just as described in the listing. I'd stay here again if life brings me to Chicago in the future! One note to those unfamiliar with Chicago - we took an uber over from O'Hare and regretted it. Traffic was terrible and the train system is super easy and convenient; it would have saved us lots of time and money to take the train.

My apartment is located in Chicago's iconic Loop. Amenities include a gym, pool, jacuzzi, business center, private, sauna, and lounge area. • Justice, you really need to change that bed. And somehow find a way to keep the TV and conversation noise down when a guest is sleeping. Admittedly, I was an early sleeper due to jet-lag, but sound insulation on those walls/door is very poor so do take care. Providing basic toiletries would be nice too.

    Murat2015-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, well located and easy walk from CTA.

    Chris2016-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Justice was very nice and friendly. Smooth check-in and great room with private bathroom which was a huge plus, I could come and go without bothering anyone. Very convenient location, walking distance to Millenium Park, Art Institute and many other places. Subway is a few blocks away too. I'd definitely recommend Justice's place if your are visiting Chicago. Newer/better towel and bed cover would've been perfection.

  • This was our first Airbnb experience and it set the bar very high for future Airbnb’s! Kay responded very quickly to our questions/messages and was very personable. The space was comfortable and cozy and not far at all from downtown. It is very close to the train track, so you will hear the train a lot, along with the upstairs neighbors walking around. But it didn’t both us much! We will definitely try to book this place again! Highly recommend.

  • Kay’s place was very nice and clean! She was super accommodating to our specific needs. Her location wasn’t far from downtown and was normally a reasonably priced uber/Lyft. Enjoyed my stay at Kay’s and I would stay here again if I ever find myself in Chicago again!

  • Dasha and Owen's place was the perfect size for just the two of us. the space was very stylish and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and there seemed to be a lot of families. Dasha and Owen were very quick to respond and gave us some great local tips. It was an easy uber ride to downtown Chicago. We will definitely stay here again if we ever visit Chicago again!

  • Loved, loved, loved this location! my boyfriend and I were looking to get away and this was perfect! the price is reasonable and although it is a little far from downtown it wasn't hard at all for two people who have never been to Chicago to find our way. There are shops not too far fun the location and the bus station is downstairs that will take you to the train station, everything is close by! The stay itself was great as well, super clean and everything at your disposal. perfect place to rewind and relax.

    Shar2018-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place. Great little kitchen and comfortable bed. At the time of our stay (August, 2018) the corner was under construction, so it was a little challenging to get in and out. Once the corner is done - smooth sailing. We did find street parking, even at 10 p.m., about three blocks away. We would stay there again.

  • Jessica’s house is neat, and with full emenities. Her efforts in making sure our stay was fantastic warrants a commendable praise. Great location not far from the city, well equipped kitchen for us to prepare our home-cooked meals was a plus, nicely and tastefully decorated house was a treat. Will recommend this place anytime.

  • Jessica responded to my application quickly and immediately offered her assistance in case we need it. The rental unit was exactly how Jessica described it. We had minor difficulty finding the rental unit but Jessica rescued us right say. (Street names are tricky)Liked that you can walk to Lincoln Zoo, Park and the lake within minutes.

  • Jessica made arrangements for us to get into the apartment early which was very helpful! The space was very large (for Chicago) and the location was PERFECT! The kitchen was equipped with pots and pans for cooking so we were able to eat breakfast and one nice dinner in! The loft was great fun for our teenager!

  • Jessica's place was perfect. It was clean, easy to access, and in a fantastic location. As a former Chicago resident, I can tell you that this is the place to stay. It took me about 30 minutes to get to the heart of the Loop for meetings in the morning, and my Uber came to pick me up within minutes. Dishes, nice towels and bedding, etc made this place feel like home. If my home was really, really nice. I came for work, but my boyfriend visited for a night, and the place still felt roomie. 4 people and a child could comfortably stay here. The loft is super cool, and the bed up there was fantastic.

    Alexis2016-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect place for our night in the city. Great location and walking distance to everything. Cozy and comfortable. Look forward to using again!

    Nancy2016-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • The location of this apartment is great, very central to lots of lincoln park/old town area dining, shopping, and strolling. The two bedrooms and baths, and the open kitchen/living room made it very comfortable for our group of 3 people. We parked at a very close garage for $20/24 hours; there is free street parkingin the neighborhood, but we didn't come across open spaces. Be careful of requirements for permits on some nearby streets. One cool place to check out is the roof top bar at the Lincoln Hotel just around the corner; it's enclosed in cold weather, so you can still enjoy it.

  • Frank was great. Super hospitable and gave some solid recommendations. Hip dude in a great up and coming neighborhood. Great location!

    Sam2018-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • Frank was super chill and his apartment was gorgeous. Definitely a hip area and the place lended itself to that, with people coming in and out/beer/pizza and noise, which I was more than okay with! We had a great time.

    Davide2017-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Frank was an awesome host! His place is in a great location for night life and very close to public transit. My girlfriend and I weren't in the apartment for anything other than to sleep but we felt very comfortable staying with Frank and his roommate Dave. They were friendly and accommodating and answered any questions we had about the city. We would definitely consider staying there again should we visit Chicago anytime soon!

    Aj2017-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • If you’re looking for a prime place to stay in Chicago Frank’s place is where you want to be! 1). The apartment is uniquely designed and has an interesting layout. I didn’t take advantage of the pool table but he does have one. 2). You can’t beat the price for the location. Much cheaper than any hotel! 3). The apartment location is great! Located on N Milwaukee just off the Damen blue line stop at 6 corners you can’t beat it. Restaurants, Bars, Shops, and transportation via CTA all within walking distance. 3b). Transportation is endless. Short/cheap uber rides to downtown, Wrigleyville, Lincoln Park, etc. or you can take the blue line and transfer and get basically anywhere. 4). If you like beer and arcade games you’re in luck with this location. Only a 6 min walk to Emporium Arcade Bar, one of my favorite places in Chicago. 5). The room was clean, spacious, and suited all my needs. I only stayed for the evening as I saw a concert and didn’t want to travel back to WI afterwards.. All in all Frank’s place was a great find for my first AirBnB. I would recommend you stay here, and I will definitely be considering it the next time I need an AirBnB in Chicago. Can’t beat the price and you can’t beat the location. Absolutely excellent!

  • Frank's apartment is unique and comfortable and the bed was super comfy. Its location is just about perfect, with great coffee, restaurants and brewpubs as well as public transportation nearby. You can hear the El regularly pass by however it didn't hinder my sleep at all. Free parking for vehicles was available about a block away. I drove into Chicago to attend a concert at the United Center, which was an easy drive from Wicker Park. Frank had incredibly fast response times to my questions and checked in to make sure things were going alright. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

You’ll love my place because of its location and look, suitable for any stay where you'll love having it all within walking distance. Extra comfy queen sized bed. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travelers. My place is close to Millennium Park, Cloud Gate, Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park, Art Institute of Chicago, State Street Shopping, Magnificent Mile.
Beautiful little studio with everything you need. Place is brand new and welcoming new guests. Look at the (great) pictures. Place is exactly as pictured and described.
Neighborhood is unbeatable. Downtown Chicago in the heart of the Loop. You can walk everywhere in this extremely safe area of the city. Sightseeing, shopping, rooftops, restaurants all within 2 minutes.
  • It was a really good place to be, very well communicated, in the heart of Chicago.

    Cristian2016-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • The studio is exactly what was posted on the AirBnB listing. Very Clean, Affordable and very cute studio which worked out very well for the 3 of us traveling for the Chicago Marathon. Why not? Hotels during the weekend of the race has been skyrocketed and with the location, we can no longer asked for more. We're just a half block from the Cloud Gate (a.k.a. The Chicago Bean), Millennium Park, Grant Park and so close to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. It's a perfect location for tourist and visitors of Chicago. We have not encountered any problem at all and the host is very considerate, friendly and just a text or call away. I would definitely would love to come back and recommend this place to my family and friends. Thanks for the host for letting us use this studio. Really had fun in Chicago.

  • This apartment was a great value in an amazing part of town for tourism and business! Located right in the loop, the apartment was a very quaint studio. Very clean when we got there and the host was very communicative for the most part. The place is a block away from Millennium Park (the Bean) and very close to other attractions. If you like to walk around, you can definitely do that and are in walking distance of almost everything the city has to offer (tourism-wise). I want to reiterate that the majority of the things were GREAT about this studio and I would recommend it to others. Some small gripes: 1) The wifi was unusable. Not a dealbreaker for us, but definitely a pain when wanting to watch netflix at night 2) The heater/AC is pretty loud when the fan is on. It doesn't bother me or my girlfriend at night but I'm sure some may not be able to sleep with it on. Once again, this place is a great value and Luis is a good host.

  • If you're looking for a city escape, this is where you want to be! Clean, centrally located, lots to do!

  • You absolutely cannot beat the location! Perfect for a nice Chicago Loop visit, great for nights at the theatres and days wandering the shops and parks! We flew in and used public transport which landed us within a block or two. It always felt super safe and walkable no matter the hour, even in the snow ha! Beautiful building and cute apartment. We had 3 people for a couple days, but it easily and comfortably fits 2. Clean and has everything you need which is definitely nice!

    Amy2016-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great! It is an absolutely unbeatable location, right across from Millennium Park. There was great food and attractions within walking distance as well. the place was very clean, and the check-in process was so easy! I would absolutely stay here again and I am very pleased with my experience.

    Emily2017-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • The location was great, but there was not physical room to fit six people, since we only had one room for all of us. We had to move all the furniture to be able to inflate the air matress. The apartment had a double bed and a coach and there was no room to fit six people in that room. The rest was good, the location was very nice and also the apartment was clean and had towels.

    Isabel2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, right next to the bean and Michigan Avenue. A cute and clean studio. Perfect for two people.

A perfect spot to enjoy food, drinks & music in Logan Square. Steps away from MICHELIN rated restaurants: Fat Rice, Longman & Eagle, Daisies. LOCAVORE SPOTS: Lula Cafe, Cellar Door Provisions & Arbor. COCKTAILS: Lost Lake, Todos Sanotos, Whistler. BEER: Revolution, Hopewell. COFFEE: Intelligentsia, Four Letter Word. MUSIC: Cole's, East Room. 10-min walk to the Logan Square Blue Line stop. Loop is 20-min & O'Hare airport is 25-min from the stop. Divvy bikes & bus stop are across the street.
Spacious 1 -bedroom apartment located on the second floor of a two-flat in Logan Square area. The bedroom features a queen-size bed (medium-firm), feather and down pillows, down duvet, and cotton sheets. The bathroom has all your essentials: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bath towels, hand towels, bath mats, and a hair dryer. The kitchen is equipped with all the basic cooking equipment, a microwave, a tea kettle, a coffee grinder, a Bonavita Coffee Maker, an Aeropress, and roasted coffee. The living room has a 42" smart TV with a Chromecast. The dining room table has a printed house manual that includes my contact info, emergency contact info, Wi-Fi password, and check-out procedures. The office has a comfortable workspace with a charging station for your phone. The apartment is filled with plants. Please be kind to them. The apartment has several SMART HOME features: AUGUST Locks, NEST Thermostat, and HUE lights. Please note, I have security cameras in the front and the back doors for security purposes. Street parking can be found on the main street and some side streets, but do read the signage, as some streets have parking limits or are residential permit parking only. Come and explore the vibrant mix of Logan Square on your next visit to Chicago!
The apartment is located on the edge of Logan Square and Avondale neighborhoods. Logan Square is known for its boozy nightlife, Michelin rated restaurants, walkability, easy access to public transit, and bicycle friendliness. A block away is the award winning Fat Rice, and its secret cocktail bar, The Ladies’ Room (hidden within their bakery), inspired by the gambling dens of Macau's red-light district. Down the street you will find one of the best wings at the Son of a Butcher, and best farm to table fare at Cellar Door Provisions. If you want a quick bite, head over for some traditional Ecuadorian food at Restaurant Ecuador across the apartment. Avondale was recently recognized as one the nation’s 10 hottest, need-to-visit neighborhoods by Lonely Planet. Jam, a brunch spot, and Parachute, a Michelin-starred restaurant, are new additions to this area. Kuma’s Corner is an old neighborhood gem, known for giant burgers on pretzel buns, and Honey Butter Fried Chicken is a must visit if you love fried chicken and brunch. Coffee spots in the area: Intelligentsia Coffee, Four Letter Word, Gaslight Coffee Roasters, Passion House, Arbor (cafe by day & restaurant by night, a hidden gem). The Milwaukee Avenue business district is filled with local small businesses such as Reno, Daisies, The Owl, The Whistler, and Hopewell Brewing Company to name a few. I highly recommend checking out the local eateries and bars. Logan Square Farmer’s Market occurs every Sunday during the summer months on Logan Square Boulevard, and it’s a 10-minute walk from the apartment. The 606 (a park on elevated former railroad tracks), Logan Square Boulevard, and Palmer Square are the three neighborhood parks to picnic in on a Sunday afternoon. 10-min Uber ride takes you to Lakeview, Boystown, Wrigley Field, Lincoln Park, Lincoln Park Zoo, and the Nature Museum.
  • Gorgeous bright apartment perfect for a long weekend! Loved my stay at Natalia’s place. Walkable to restaurants and nightlife in the heart of Logan Square, and only a few transit stops away from other main commercial areas. There’s a Divvy bikeshare station right by, which made for a great bike adventure through Chicago. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and well decorated with plants. Central AC was a plus too given the 90+ degree weather. Would definitely stay again!

    Danielle2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Natalia was an excellent host - quick to communicate and gave us lots of great recommendations for the area. The apartment was about a 10 minute walk to the blue line and some amazing restaurants. Being first timers in Chicago, we spent most of our time in West Loop and Wicker Park, but it was a good spot if you want to stay somewhere quiet/more of a neighborhood feel. The place was also sparkling clean and looked as it does in the listing.

    Bianca2018-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • The soft slippers Natalia left by the door were the perfect invitation to her apartment. Her furnishing are tasteful and comfortable, the rooms are bright and it is sparkling clean. We walked to parks, shops and restaurants. We highly recommend Natalia’s place.

    Emily2018-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • The apt. is located on a very bust street but is quiet just the same. The attention to detail is impressive, very European in style and every amenity thought of. Natalia has done a very nice job creating something beautiful in an up and coming neighborhood. For convenience to where our daughter lives it worked well to be located here at this airbnb. Budget for the costs of transportation in and out of Chicago in both money and time. This spot is an oasis for the traveler...

    Nancy2018-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Natalia's place is amazing -- extremely clean and super well stocked. She has everything you can possibly think of, including extra toothbrushes, breakfast stuff, and a long list of etceteras. The apartment is in a great location and the decor is very modern and cute. Natalia is also a great host and communication with her was super easy and quick. She responded to messages right away and the check in was super easy. Even though we arrived late at night (midnight) she had someone there waiting for us. Also, she anticipated any needs we could possibly have and even went as far as buying a portable crib for our baby! I can't recommend this place enough.

    Natalia2017-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived several hours early and was exploring until our 3PM check-in. Natalia messaged us to check on our status. She then gave us the option to check in earlier than 3PM! We ended up exploring and arriving around 2:45PM. Her willingness to accommodate us made us feel very welcomed. Many Airbnb hosts are very rigid about check in times, so we really appreciated her kind gesture. We felt very welcomed and relaxed in Natalia's space, because of her tasteful minimalist interior design. There is a lot of thought put into the amenities such as the automatic heating, automatic lights, and everything was squeaky clean. If you want to explore the local hidden gems of Logan Square, then you should stay at Natalia's space. The neighborhood is charming and she has a whole list of recommendations for guests to explore! It's also very close to the subway station. Thank you, Natalia, for your hospitality!

  • Natalia was a great host. She let us check in early and made sure we had everything we needed. I'd stay with her again

    Austin2018-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Natalia was so helpful - her sister waited to give us the keys even when our flight was delayed, and Natalia checked in regularly with tips and help with the A/C. The apartment is definitely minimal but it was very clean and comfortable!

Spectacular vintage greystone located on historical Hoyne ave in the "artsy" Wicker Park/Ukrainian Village neighborhood. Easy access to multiple means of public transportation downtown and beyond. Long term rentals between 1-6 months are available upon request at a discounted price!!!!
An amazing space in the heart of Wicker Park/Ukrainian Village,Chicago ..Perfect hub for a vacation spot or the business traveler who doesn't want to stay at a stuffy hotel!!! six very close blocks to public transportation (both the Damen and Division st Blue Line stops),great restaurants, bars, clubs, galleries, live music venues etc...conveniently located in the center of this lovely neighborhood yet still on a super quiet, safe and BEAUTIFUL street! really,it's crazy pretty! both artistic & very easy going, clean and super friendly.super nice and cozy private room just off the dining room and also offers a new full bed, closet and dresser. the main space has wifi, cable tv and and pretty spectacular reading room,a second living room and full dining are perfect to make yourself comfortable in.also i have a full old school-ish kitchen at your disposal if you so desire to cook. this is one of three rooms that i list. i have two a/c units, one of which is portable. If you run hot, please let me know,as i typically do not need it. i have lived in the area for 20 years and more than welcome to help guide you in your experience here or,leave you to discover on your own! i love hosting very much as well as travelling and look forward to sharing my space with you!
my home is located on a gorgeous historic street in the Ukrainian village/wicker park neighborhood...this diverse and bustling neighborhood has so much to offer on it's own but is conveniently located just minutes from the downtown area.
  • Stephanie is the most excellent host one could ever wish for. She is generous, informative, a snappy dresser, a great conversationalist and has impeccable taste. Also excellent cats.

    Jessie2012-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie's place is just as described and as seen in the photos. Her artistic style is evident throughout her home. It's a beautiful walk along Hoyne to the Blue line, but if you don't feel like walking, the 65 is just around the corner on Damen/Thomas and stops right at the Blue line station. I got a 3-day CTA pass and it was super easy to get around. I was here for a conference downtown and found it was a quick cab ride on late evenings (after sessions and/or networking socials). Staying with Stephanie and her adorable feline co-hosts helped this introvert unwind from the hustle and bustle of conference craziness and downtown crowds. Thank you so much!

    S. Mae2015-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • Exceptional! Stephanie's place has a special and really unique vibe. Interesting. She has a variety of cafés and restaurant's business cards in the room that I sure had to go and try which it was helpful and great. Map in the wall from the train lines just another perfect touch. She's a great host. I didn't got to have lot of conversation w her but I bet she's really genuine and wonderful person. Her place and warming says a lot. Thanks for all, Steph.

    Ingrid2016-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie was a great host all along! She responded quickly to all our emails, all the info in her ad was absolutely accurate, the neighbourhood was amazingly located.

    Edward2014-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • A really lovely home! Cool antiques, high ceilings and lots of natural light. This was my first time using airbnb, and I wanted to find a safe neighborhood and an affordable, nice space with no hassles. Stephanie was amazing at returning messages and answering questions. And I had a lot of questions. Really on top of it, she takes hosting seriously and is super considerate. In the cute little (very clean and uncluttered) room there are maps, restaurant guides, various power outlet adapters for international folks and even some sunscreen just in case you forgot yours. Very sweet, no? It was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but it was an overall awesome experience and less hassles made the trip a lot nicer. Plus a beautiful neighborhood! So I think I lucked out overall.

    Larissa2013-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Her home is like a gem in the city. Anyone can tell from the first place that the house is of an artist. Loved the interior and decos all around. 2 little cats are very friendly like the host and loved having them in house.

    Kj2018-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Stephanie and her apartment AND her furry friends! Wonderful Airbnb. Stephanie is one of the most welcoming, warm people I have met. My friend and I stayed out on her porch chatting to her for hours. I highly recommend her Airbnb.

    Fiona2018-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • I can not recommend this location with this particular host. The host was very intoxicated at every encounter during our three nite stay. We felt uncomfortable & unsafe. We felt as if something crazy could happen at any given moment. The host communicated initially to set up check-in time but was unresponsive shortly after that for the duration of the stay. We mentioned that we would message the host as we got closer to our check-in time. We had issues with the app so we texted and called that we were going to arrive at 3:30 instead of 3:00. No response from the host. We arrive to a unlocked & slightly open door. I ring the bell and a guest comes to the door to show us our room. Why is a guest tasked to help with check-in? Around 4pm on a Thursday, the host arrives very intoxicated. She has trouble standing up and completing sentences. Speech is heavily slurred. So much for getting checked-in. I found a key on the wall that ended up to be ours for use. She mentions this is her day off and I decide to give her the benefit of the doubt that this is a once in a while instance of heavy drinking. We leave the apartment after check-in. When we come back in the evening, the host is sleeping on the floor of one of the rooms. I believe it is a storage room. Friday, we see the host in the late afternoon. She is heavily intoxicated. We see her take a bottle of ecco domani red wine from the fridge and literally chug the contents. Our room is hot being that it is right next to the kitchen where people are cooking and that this happened to be a hot summer weekend. She allows us to install a window unit to cool our room and thanked her. Shortly after, she sits on the bed of our room for about 20 minutes talking about air conditioning. We feel very uncomfortable and leave again. We felt like we had to leave first thing in the morning and arrive back late each evening just so we could avoid the host. It was hard to tell how many people were staying there. I feel that we actually stayed in the host's private bedroom while she slept on the floor in the room next to us. There was no lock on our "private" door. The one window to the outside had no lock. This window leads to an alley. No lock on bathroom door. The pictures in the listing are quite outdated. We arrived to an apartment that was dusty, smelled of cat food, dirty fridge, moldy bathroom tiles, very little air conditioning. Saturday morning arrives and we head out of the apartment. Upon us leaving, we see the host curled up on the couch, she seemed to be passed out and mumbling to herself. On another occasion, I woke on Sunday morning around 4am. All...

  • Irena and her home were fabulous! My inlaws stayed there and raved and raved. They kept asking how can we make sure they can stay there for the next visit :) The place was clean, welcoming, and had all that they needed for a weekend visit. They spent relaxing mornings there making breakfast and drinking coffee and enjoyed the evenings as well. Thank you, Irena! You made it so easy, and you responded to every email within minutes!

  • Charming neighborhood that is quiet yet adjacent to plenty of culture and food / entertainment options. About a 1/2 mile walk to the L trains. Lovely, spotless clean apartment with excellent shower. Hostess is professional and accommodating. I stayed solo but it's also appropriate for a couple or even 2 to 3 friends.

  • Perfect location and its very close from downtown just a 6 dlls trip on uber to downtown. Appartement was clean and perfectly designed and functional.

    Erik2017-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Irena's apartment is the loveliest airbnb I have ever stayed at. Not only is it clean and tidy, it also has the coziest lighting and set-up. Irena also made sure there is an extra supply of blankets and towels and all kinds of kitchen cutlery, and that was definitely really thoughtful of her. Thank you Irena!

  • Great place, wonderful neighborhood!

    Carl2018-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • 1. This apartment is wonderful. Layout is awesome plenty of room. The neighborhood is quite, yet close to plenty of shopping, restaurants, and mass transit to get you downtown if you wish. We attended our daughter's wedding we were stress free and relaxed. Couldn't have asked for a better place.

    Dawn2015-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Irena was a great host and has a beautiful place. We frequented downtown during our visit and the location was extremely convenient to get there, but also to other parts of the city. A short Lyft ride to Michigan Ave was just $12. Highly recommend taking an Uber/Lyft from this home. The Ukranian Village is beautiful. Wish we could have explored the area more, but there was below zero Temps during our visit. Inside the home is awesome! Literally anything you would have in your own home is included. Irena provided plenty of sheets, a stocked kitchen(plates, cooking ware, eating utensils, a Coffee maker with coffee), a loaded entertainment center, and a stocked bathroom. There was however some trouble with getting the door open, but Irena was responsive to questions. Will definitely keep this on my list for future trips and will be glad to recommend.

    Luis2017-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • I was really amazed by the place: The location was top notch close to a lot of bars and restaurants and to public transportation. I was uneasy when I read the description because it was not clear that we could find there 2 beds as there's just 1 room, but Irena managed to put a very confortable queen size bed in the living room and if you need it has a very long couch that can be used as a bed as well. You can notice that nobody is currently living in the house which is great to not open closets and drawers to find someone's else clothing and stuff in it. It was very clean and comfortable lodging. Highly recommended!

  • We love the neighborhood of Little Italy:convenient to public transportation, historic area, good restaurants and adjacent to medical center. I knew this because I lived in Chicago for 10 years and visit every year. The accommodations were good. The room we had was small but the bed was comfortable. I think the apartment is a new one and could use some homey touches, but that doesn't detract from its usefulness.

    Margaret2016-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • We never meet Natalia. The apartment is well located, very close to the down town. The kitchen is very poor of pots. We find just a little one. No hairdryer in the bathroom.

  • Natalia's place was just as pictured and what we expected. We just needed a room for the night and that's what we got. The room was small but still worth the cost and location. The place had air condition which was a big plus because it was a hot weekend. Very clean and I wish I would've found it sooner for our 5 day trip there. The neighborhood was fabulous and you could walk around and feel comfortable. Natalia's instruction for arrival were clear and detailed. The key-less entry was a plus because you could come and go as you please. Saw only a few other occupants and even though we all had to share 1 bathroom it worked out well. Would totally stay there again and recommend to future travelers.

  • Leo's place was just as described. The second bedroom is very small but the bed was comfortable and had a good closet space. If you're planning to spend a lot of time downtown, you hit a decent amount of traffic, but the neighborhood surrounding Leo's place is super cute and offers many options.

  • Great place in an easy location for access to food and seeing the city. Would stay again.

  • Great place

    Sheren2018-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great spot for a small group in a neighborhood with easy access to coffee shops and great restaurants. There are two nice double beds and the one I slept on was oh-so-comfortable! We enjoyed lounging on the couch and sitting on the front steps and soaking in the sun.

    Marina2018-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • This place was roomy and clean. Kitchen and living room and spacious and stylish. The location was central and walkable. The neighbors were nice and friendly. Thanks for a great stay!

    Jessica2018-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Pictures accurately show how the place looks. The blankets and towels were very soft. Wi-Fi worked great -- was able to watch Netflix with no issues. I didn't really get to explore the area, but it's definitely a little sketchy at night if you are walking. It's a very quiet neighborhood and from my experience, rarely anyone walking around at night. There isn't much to do around the area, except for a couple of restaurants that were at the end of the street. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here though!

    Helen2016-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • Super clean and homey for our 1 week stay. I loved the kitchen ❤ 2 cute bedrooms with perfect super comfy beds ❤ spent most of my time on the oversized couch tho. Great resturants very close in the area.

    Valerie2017-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here with three other people and we all loved it. The neighborhood was awesome--you're really close to Best Intentions, which is a cute bar that serves good food, Revolution Brewery, which we loved, and Parson's, which had some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. There was plenty of space for all of us. The room with the double bed was tiny, but it ended up being cozy for sleeping (that's all you really do in there, anyway). The only somewhat negative to the space was the air conditioning--it worked perfectly fine, but the fan is always running and it's kind of loud. This didn't bother me because I like having background noise when I'm sleeping, but it could bother someone who likes silence when going to bed.

  • Catherine’s apartment was lovely and in a great area. Close to bus stops, the Blue Line, and a bunch of cool shops and restaurants. Super comfy bed and a huge bathroom were added bonuses. We didn’t interact with Catherine much, but when we did she was incredibly helpful!

    Robyn2018-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I had a fantastic stay at Catherine's beautiful apartment!

    Devon2018-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Catherine’s place was top-notch! Close to everything, clean, and comfortable. Catherine is a great host, made me feel right at home, and gave great suggestions on where a weary traveler could recharge with a burger and a beer.

    Dan2018-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We were in town for a few days to visit Chicago and just needed a place to crash. Catherine's home totally fit the bill. We had the entire master suite to ourselves and enjoyed the space and the natural light. Catherine was a great host and was always available if we had questions. Her dog is super sweet and friendly but gives you your space and is very quiet. The blue line train is a short walk away and the bus is steps away and takes you right to the red line.

    Amber2018-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Thoughtful host, adorable pup, delightful place, nice location. If I’m in this area of town again, I’d definitely stay here!

  • Great host and great location. 10/10 recommend.

    Thomas2017-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay. Wonderful location close enough to all wicker park has to offer but still on a quiet street. Parking on location was great. Would definitely recommend. Yoshi and Catherine were great hosts.

    Melissa2018-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • I did not meet Catherine, but she was a great host. Accessing her condo was easy and she made allowed me to keep my belongings later than the check out time to accommodate my flight. Her condo is a short walk to the subway station and I was pleasantly surprised by how much her Wicker Park neighborhood had to offer--lots of really cool shops and restaurants. The master suite was comfortable and spacious and the shower is to die for. I would definitely stay with Catherine again.

  • Amazingly clean clean airbnb place. Aishwarya and her bf were super nice. I came in really late and they stayed in touch with me the whole time. They welcomed me with water and made me feel at home even though i was just there for one night. The bed is as stated - super comfortable and big with superbly soft and clean comforter. This place was nicer than a 5 star hotel. You will have everything you need in the bathroom also. Everything is top quality and worth the money.

    Catherine2015-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • I booked the room for my parents and they enjoyed their stay. Aishwarya was very kind and accommodating. The apartment was beautiful and in a prime Logan Square location. Would recommend.

  • Super host. Great communication. Fab flat and exceptionally comfy bed.

    Tom2016-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • Aishwarya was very helpful, cheerful and attentive. The living space is clean and has some great decor and amenities. The area is close to the blue line station and is about a 20 minute commute to downtown Chicago. I recommend Aishwarya's place to any traveler looking for an affordable/convenient place to stay!

    Renato2017-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was very comfortable and stress-free! Aishwarya quickly responded to all questions and was very welcoming. The apartment was beautiful, and the neighborhood had a variety of dining/shopping options. It was very easy to get to downtown - the train is only a 5 minute walk from the place. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Chicago!

A breezy, charming garden level studio, one block from the train, off the Boulevard System, and blocks from Lagunitas Brewery, Cinespace, and Douglas Park. Pilsen and West Loop night life just a short train ride away. Situated in a quiet corner of Little Village, our neighborhood of predominately Mexican and Black multi-generational families is teeming with tamale stands, paleta vendors, and children playing. Please note that this space is not available for filming or other productions.
The Roosevelt Suite is the garden unit of our building, that we own and occupy. Recently rehabbed with the experience of our guests and quality of their stay in mind, we created a space that is private, comfortable and practical. The suite features a queen bed, a sleeper sofa, a 3/4 bath (shower, no tub) and a kitchenette that allows for light cooking. The kitchenette has a coffee machine, microwave, hot plate, mini fridge and toaster oven. We provide granola and dried fruits, as well as yogurt and cream. If you’re staying during the winter months, we suggest maybe bringing a pair of slippers. The ceramic tile floor isn’t heated and it may get chilly for some guests. Please indicate if you would need the sofa sleeper set up when booking.
We're walking distance to Lagunitas Brewery and Tap Room, Cinespace, and Douglas Park. Our train stop is the primary one for Cook County Criminal Courts and Jail. There are walk-up taco joints, sit down Mexican restaurants, grocery stores, and a Planet Fitness within three blocks of the house. The neighborhood is predominately multi-generational Mexican and black families. Kids play on the sidewalk, parents upkeep their properties, and grandparents sit on the stoop. We are often asked if our neighborhood is "safe". Indeed there may be more vice crimes in our area, but popular neighborhoods and areas like Downtown and Wicker Park have higher incidences of muggings and assaults. We encourage guests to be alert and careful anywhere they go in the city.
  • Excellent place and hosts. Very modern design and comfortable ambiance. Pilsen is much different than central downtown, but if you know that going in it is a very charming neighborhood with an eclectic set of restaurants and entertainment options.

    Mohsen2017-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • This location is beautifully decorated. Everything compliments each other, which says a lot about the hosts. They've thought of everything from makeup remover wipes to a big space heater as well as humidifier to keep the place comfortable in the winter. For a sublevel unit there is an abundance of natural light. The walk from the train is easy and comfortable. Also, it's 5-6 minute walk from Las Lagunitas brewery! We had a great time and would stay again. Thank you James and Dom!

    Annissa2017-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Whoa!!! Best hosts and gnarly spot!

    Casey2016-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • James and Dom are great hosts! The Roosevelt Room is very aesthetically pleasing! They had everything we needed, were very helpful with suggestions on where to go and how to get there, and we visited in the dead of winter and the space was always sufficiently warm! If we need a place to stay in Chicago again, we will most likely be here again!

    Eric2017-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • A neat little space with a cool vibe. Easy to find, and super convenient, especially if you're headed downtown, or toward museum campus, via train or car. Parking is fairly ample and free, and the train is close, but not so close it bothered isnor kept is up. James and Dom were welcoming and responded very quickly with answers to questions or recommendations. We'll contact them again if we need to stay in the city.

    Amy2017-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Conveniently close to transit station. The place was clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend the place if you're visiting Chicago!

    Angela2016-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • I never met James and Dom, but their space was accurately represented, and we enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood on its way to becoming a gem, and it's close to downtown on a convenient train line.

    Rebecca2016-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible experience. From the beginning to the end, James and Dom were thorough and friendly communicators and excellent hosts in all categories. From instructions to and around the apartment, to personal recommendations of things to in the area, we felt welcomed and at home staying in the Roosevelt Suite. We stayed 4 nights and not only was the place tidy, clean, and very comfortable, we had everything we would need for a stay. Access to the train and navigation in public transit was simple and very convenient and we were able to grocery shop around the corner at a great supermarket and make breakfast and coffee in the cute kitchen, my boyfriend was able to do homework in peace in the little kitchen table area and though the place is small, it felt spacious and inviting. I can't say enough how great this stay was, it really blew both our expectations out of the water to be able to go home at the end of a night to somewhere so cozy and welcoming. James and Dom are superb and we owe a great weekend away in Chicago to them! (Also. Ignore anything negative anyone says about Little Village. It's very normal and safe and we felt perfectly at home. Took a neighbor's recommendation for AMAZING authentic Mexican food down the street at La Casa de Samuel.)

  • A really nice location. Comfortable living area. We were able to use the washing facilities located next door to our living area which was super handy. We didnt get to meet John but did speak with him on the phone. Lots of little treats and plenty of snacks on hand if you are feeling peckish. Overall we felt it was really good for the price. Will be recommending to friends. Not roo far from city. Easy to get around. A couple of points to consider though if you are quite tall, I am 6'4, you need to keep a close eye on part ofs the ceiling where its lower than other parts. And the bed is a double size and short my my height. Didnt cause any problems though but worth mentioning.

    Pete & Sumay2013-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was better than we expected. It was clean, roomy, and very comfortable. The bed offered great nights sleep and the pillows were decadent. This place has everything you need and close to the Blue line-California stop. We enjoyed our stay greatly. Jonathan is a super nice guy and we are glad that we got to meet him. I would recommend it to anyone.

    Mandy2014-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • The info about the place is spot on. Everything went smoothly. Jonathan was great and the upstairs neighbors were friendly too. The location is convenient and we had no problem finding parking nearby. I would recommend this location to anyone considering visiting the great city of Chicago.

  • One of the best airbnb's I've used in Chicago. Great location, clean and full of amenities (cable, internet, full kitchen, washer/dryer). The privacy aspect is the best - not having to walk through anyone's space, or even deal with anyone at all. It was all set up for us when we arrived.

  • This place is awesome! Great area and the value is unbeatable. The space itself is clean and really spacious for just an apartment. The hot water pressure is fantastic, perfect after a long day! The bed is so soft and the tv comes with Netflix! Despite being near a bar, I had no problems with peace and quiet. Didn’t even notice any raucous. The WiFi was speedy and check in was easy! Any questions I had were promptly answered and Nala had recommendations on local places to go! I recommend over easy cafe, get the french toast! Don’t hesitate to stay here, it’s great!!

  • Stayed in this beautiful place and was really impressed by the amenities provided by the host. The place is clean and has a TV with Netflix!! The coffee machine is good. The place is few meters away from the Red Line, which makes it easy to commute to Downtown where my office is. The host is prompt in responding to me and very friendly. The bar below the apartment didn't disturb me in my sleep, the apartment is 90% soundproof. I would suggest everyone staying here, and if I come back to Chicago next, I would like to stay again. Thanks Nala...Cheers!!

    Sajid2018-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely the cleanest space with the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. I am sad to leave it behind. Clean kitchen, super clean bathroom, giant tv. As far as the neighborhood, it was nice & accommodating with plenty of coffee and vegan food nearby. The subway is super close and this made for an easy time getting around. The noise from the bar below was minimal, but I brought earplugs just in case and slept like a baby. Thanks for the hospitality!

    Charlie2018-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great experience at Nala’s Place. There is a little noise below the apartment but it was not bothersome. Also they provide a white noise maker on the nightstand if needed. Very cute place and everyone was helpful.

    Leanne2018-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Nala’s superhost badge is well deserved! She was very accommodating and communicative to ensure that our stay at her place was everything it needed to be, and she even offered local tips for dining and entertainment. It was in such a great location, as we were staying just blocks away from the Riviera Theatre where we attended a concert. Before booking, I did read other reviews talking about the bar below and the noise level. Nala had a white noise machine available to use, but to be completely honest, we did not even need to use it! The bed was so comfortable and the apartment was very clean & stylish. If we are ever in town for another show, Nala’s will be the first place we look into, and you should as well. You will not be disappointed!

    Sylvia2018-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful and cozy apartment in Chicago. Nala has been a great guest, and she was so quickly to contact! The apartment was clean, warm and full of comforts!

    Luis2018-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great experience staying here during my Chicago trip. While the lock was a bit tricky to figure out at first, I was able to call the number given to me and get an immediate response and assistance. The apartment was nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable and the shower was fantastic! I was able to take a short Uber trip to get to wherever I needed to go. I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking to visit Chicago.

    Emil2018-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • I had an awesome first time experience! I have never used airbnb before, and to be honest I was skeptical. This apartment was perfect, exactly as described and as pictured. It is cozy and modern with a very comfortable bed. I may have failed to mention to my partner who is a light sleeper the close proximity (right above) to a bustling bar. The noise level on a scale of 0-10 is probably at a 2-2.5. My partner woke me up the first night asking me what the far away bumping bass was... so for me not an issue... for some it’s a bother. I will say that we did happen hear a very awkward couple break up outside , so if you’re sensitive to noise then this may not be for you.. but then again if that’s the case then in general cities may not be for you either. Overall I would certainly stay here again and would recommend others to as well. There are parking options all around and is very close to transit... and close to a VERY delicious local donut shop.

Meeting attendees are most familiar with McCormick Place, the largest convention center in the country, which is also in the immediate area Here are a few listings with exact distances in mileage from the prorperty. • This was a fantastic place to stay on my first trip to Chicago. From the moment I walked in, I was stunned how great the views were from every room in the unit. The unit was very clean and comfortable with all of the amenities one would need. Oleg was very responsive and made checking in very easy. Highly recommend staying at this wonderful place anytime in Chicago.

  • Beautiful two bedroom/two bathroom penthouse apartment with beautiful furnishings. Door, elevator and workout room need key fob to enter, made it feel quite safe. Pet friendly building, we ran into a dog or two on every trip up or down the elevator. Construction was happening in the building while we were there, a little loud at times. I traveled with a group of 4 friends. The couch and pull out sofa bed were not very comfortable, and the living room warms up quickly in the morning sunshine. Oleg was very responsive to messages and questions, overall we had a great experience and would recommend this place to others.

    Jodi2018-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • An absolute steal! Gorgeous penthouse apartment with beautiful view of Chicago. Comfortable beds, beautiful kitchen, and perfect for staying in the south loop. Make sure you adjust the temperature off of automatic before you head to bed because the temperature will greatly fluctuate if not! Oleg was a wonderful host and I would HIGHLY recommend this place.

  • Dino was a great, accommodating host. location was very convenient to L station.

    Michaela2018-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Dino’s place was perfect for a week long stay with my husband. The location can not be beat, was able to walk to downtown, Michigan ave, old town, truly anywhere you want to go. Very safe area and building. The apt was very clean and had a small kitchen with everything we needed. Dino was very quick to communicate and checkin checkout was a breeze. Needless to say but I will be staying at Dino’s place again in the future.

  • This was an excellent home in a very well maintained/beautiful area of Chicago...I would absolutely stay at this home again! Great location to get to the United Center!

    Justin2018-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Very cute apartment in a cute, quiet neighborhood. The apartment was very nice, clean and quiet and made for a great stay for my business trip. Unfortunately, I only stayed one night. I've been to Chicago many times though never stayed in this neighborhood and found it to be quite lovely. Plenty of food, coffee, and bar options. Would happily stay at this location again.

    Reid2016-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • Nice unit and amenities. Clean unit and nicely decorated. Would definitely consider booking here again. FYI Uber is the way to get around. Cheaper than cabs and or parking fees.

    Sara2016-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • This was perfect location, safe, close to bus line, lots of nice restaurants and the home was amazing! I brought my grand kids and it worked great! The house had everything you could possibly need. I would and plan on coming back to rent this home again. Thanks Irena. ❤️

    Teri2016-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great location next to public transit. I highly recommend getting a ventra pass if you are in the city for a few days. The bus line on Chicago Ave takes you directly to multiple train transfer stations - very easy to figure out and get around. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, great to walk around. Everything we needed was provided and if we had any questions Irena was very responsive. I would 100% stay here again when we come back.

    Lisa2017-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Irena's place is clean and as the pictures show. Good size for up to six guests. The neighborhood is clean, safe, walkable, and convenient to public transportation, coffee shops and some trendy restaurants. Uber/lyft rides 15 minutes to most of the downtown sites. Though we didn't have the need to communicate with Irena, the pre check-in "communication" was a bit sterile and scripted; not a showstopper, just so you know what to expect. We would recommend and stay here again.

    Derrek2017-09-03T00:00:00Z

  • David and Irena have a wonderful modern, clean, and bright place in a beautiful very friendly and walk-able neighborhood. They had everything you would need from shampoo and conditioner, to extra pillows and blankets. The beds are very comfortable and her neighbors are friendly as well. They allowed us to drop off our luggage early which was a huge help. My mother and I walked to restaurants, shops, and art galleries. It truly felt like a home away from home and we will be back next year! Thank you!!!

    Lauren2018-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great property! Great location. Irena is a helpful host. Can easily fit 4 people. I loved the free Netflix and the nice Keurig coffee maker. Thanks!

  • Nice and big appartment, very good located, best equipped, everything you need for a relaxed stay is given. Quick and good communication. Use Spot Hero for parking, it's cheap. Parking in Chicago is quite expensive. Uber for transfers to and from city to appartment. We enjoyed our stay with this safe spot and also with good restaurants close by, better and cheaper like at the tourist spots.

  • We come to the city a couple times a year and usually stay downtown. We brought our children 6 and 10 along with my mother. We felt a home like atmosphere would be better and it was! Close to public transportation, safe neighborhood and grocery shopping within walking distance. Appreciated having a washer and dryer. If your looking for a little lower key than downtown and the amenities of home this is a great place!

Stay in the heart of Lakeview in a clean well thought out space! Sheets are high thread count cotton and a new foam topper makes for a fantastic night of sleep. There is a keurig coffee maker and upgraded fast 25mb internet.
This studio has been freshly redecorated! Enjoy staying in a comfortable yet trendy space while you enjoy the best of Chicago has to offer!
East Lakeview/Boystown is one of the most sought after neighborhoods in Chicago with a world class Halsted entertainment district nearby. There is a 24/7 Walgreens which has anything you could need for your stay. Premium coffee, Intelligentsia is right down the street and the Coffee and Tea Exchange. There are amazing counter service restaurants near the apartment that you can't leave Chicago without experiencing.
  • Excellent James was very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. The location was great and the room was perfect for someone who spent most of their time walking around chicago.

    Jardan2014-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • James was an excellent host and provided a great space for me and my friend to stay for a few days visiting Chicago. Being first time visitors, James was able to offer suggestions on restaurants and bars local to the Lakeview area as well as means of transportation to the Downtown area. James provided basic amenities and towels which was great for us in terms of packing and informed us ahead of time. He was very responsive to our texts and calls whenever we had any questions. The space was everything we expected, providing bathroom, tv (with apple TV), wifi, sink, fridge, and even a bottle of wine! Unfortunately we were so out and about we didn't get a chance to pop the bottle open, but it is a very thoughtful gesture that goes to show the type of host James is. I would 100% reccommend this space for anyone else interested, and would even do it again if I find myself back in Chicago!

    Kristoffer-Jude2015-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • James, the host, was very reliable and professional. He met us at the apartment at the agreed upon time. The apartment was clean and very convenient to transportation, the Lake, and was located right in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood with lots of eating places and retail. On the down side, the apartment was smaller than I expected: the photos on AirBnB made it look larger than it really was. If you plan to use it as a base for exploration and a place to sleep, it fits the bill nicely. Also, the WiFi was very unreliable and slow, so we were unable to use it most of the time.

    Mark2014-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic experience. Definitely a good value. Host made everything easy. Property was as described, though also unexpected touches such as having maps of the area available. Clean, well-equipped. Host communicated well. No problems checking in or out. Loved the neighborhood. Just around the corner from amazing restaurants. Family-friendly area--felt plenty safe.

    Liz2014-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great experience staying at James' place. The apartment is in a great location, close to many bars/restaurants and the train, it's comfortable and clean, and its an easy trip downtown and to the sights of Chicago. He's a great host; was very accommodating and took care of everything I needed during my stay. I would definitely stay here again.

    Patrick2014-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • The studio apartment was great! The photos are accurate. The apt was clean. The heat in the apt was magnificent and the water pressure in the shower was just right! I also enjoyed the Netflix on tv! Very entertaining! The apt is a comfortable space for two (Website hidden by Airbnb) is in a great location near many great BYOB restaurants and trendy bars. We were able to enjoy hookah a few steps away from the apt. as well as Korean BBQ, Cuban cuisine, and an all day breakfast cafe. We even enjoyed pedicures. All the aforementioned was literally around the corner! It's a ten minute cab ride downtown as well. It was a perfect stay! James himself is very accommodating. He responded to my request within minutes and although he was on vacation when I arrived he had an assistant that was also very nice and punctual in her responses. I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you are visiting Chicago. Thanks James!!
