This 18th century character cottage is located just 80 metres from the popular Hele Bay beach. Boasting a landscaped rear garden with sea views, and decked barbeque area, the cottage is equipped and decorated to a high standard throughout.
Hele Bay Cottage is the perfect choice for those wishing to holiday in traditional surroundings, with an array of outdoor activities and family attractions located on your doorstep. (Visit Exmoor National Park, some of the UK's premier surfing beaches, outdoor activity centres, theme parks, animal parks, craft centres, stately homes, and much more .
Hele is an inviting village situated just outside the bustling seaside resort of Ilfracombe. The main road leads down to Hele Bay, a sheltered cove with safe sand and shingle beach, and numerous rock pools to be explored at low tide. The village itself boasts a choice of pub restaurants, a beachside café, parking, and a garage along with a well-stocked shop, selling fresh bread and cakes, alcohol, frozen and chilled groceries, milk and newspapers. Hele's 16th century corn mill has been fully restored and offers visitors the opportunity to purchase unique pottery, watch a demonstration, or have a go. Hele is separated from Ilfracombe by Hillsborough, the summit of which rises to an imposing 447ft above sea level. Follow the South West Coast Path from Hele to the summit, and enjoy one of very few places in the UK where the sun rises and sets over a sea horizon.
  • A lovely cosy cottage which was clean and tidy. Handy to have a big TV and Netflix etc especially when weather bad. Highly recommend pub just on corner. Food was fantastic. Easy check in and communication. Off street parking. Had everything you need with extra bedding, towels etc. We did have a leak while there but they responded immediately, checked we were ok and arranged to make things better.

  • Very recommended place to stay. It was very tidy and clean. There are lots of amenities such as smart tv with provided Netflix account and a really good wine as a welcoming treat. Looking forward to stay here again !!

  • A wonderfully cosy and charming place and a great base to explore from. We had a fantastic stay with our two young boys. The cottage is so comfortable and there were so many thoughtful touches such as the nespresso machine and toiletries in bathroom. Claire and Chris left lots of helpful information and were quick to reply to any questions. The bedrooms are really tastefully decorated and everything so clean and fresh - also great to have bedrooms next to each other with young kids. We had a wet and windy few days but still did some coastal walking and it was great to have the cosy wood burner to come back to and lovely hot showers. Didn’t eat in the pub (literally opposite) but kids loved the skittle alley and (small) soft play in the room downstairs. Ilfracombe just up the road and Barnstaple is not far (a great cheese shop and bakery - and trampoline park for kids for wet weather activities).

There as lovely period features with a huge marble fireplace and tall ceilings. Wini is a fabulous host and made sure we had everything we needed. We used the sofa bed as well as the bedroom, which worked very well. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this flat to anyone looking for a great base from which to explore this pretty seaside town.

Fully equipped, bright and airy, self-contained apartment for two, situated in Ilfracombe's oldest street. Close to harbour, seafront and all amenities. Set in the Artisan Quarter which offers a wide choice of great restaurants and interesting shops and galleries.
This is a first floor apartment, comprising of a private entrance area, separate WC, living/kitchen/dining area, bedroom and large wetroom/shower area.
We are in the heart of the burgeoning Artisan Quarter of the town. Fore Street and its surrounding area is well-known for a range of outstanding eating places, cocktail bars and pubs. We are also minutes away from the South West Coast path, and there are many wonderful walks, long and short, which can be accessed from our doorstep! The apartment provides a great base from which to explore all that Ilfracombe has to offer.
  • Lovely place to stay. The apartment is just perfect and the pictures don’t do justice to the character of the place. The hosts are fantastic, friendly and helpful. A lovely touch to have breakfast available in the apartment, croissant, pain au chocolat, cereal, jams and orange juice. The location couldn’t be better, we were slightly worried on booking as the place to the left looked like a pub- it’s actually an art studio. Quiet but hugely central, walking distance to most things. Would 100% stay here again!

  • This is a fantastic house in a great position. Ilfracombe has great beaches and walks. Tricia is a wonderful host who is really welcoming and makes the whole booking process a joy

    Jayne2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a brilliant stay at the Captain's House over New Year 2019. There were two families and two dogs and plenty of room for us all to relax and recharge in between walks on the beach and visits to local pubs. The house itself is extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well equipped and dining room the perfect space for several wonderful meals together. We also enjoyed a fire every evening in the log burning stove. Ilfracombe itself was pretty quiet as it was mid winter but we found a friendly local dog friendly pub near the harbour. Tricia was incredibly thoughtful and organised providing lots of useful info on local walks, beaches, pubs etc. A lovely house and great memories made.

    Camilla2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • You will not be disappointed! Tricia’s Place is the place to go if you decide to visit the area!

  • Leila's place was lovely, the view from the lounge is amazing. We went in January when the weather was a bit chilly so we took advanctage of the great gas fire in the lounge . Would love to come back in the summer and sit out on the balcony. Leila was a great host, always answered any questions we had very quickly. It was a great location, only a two min walk (if that) to cafes/restaurants. Would defintely recommend.

    Rebecca2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was even better than advertised. We just regret that we did not book to stay for longer. Leila was a great host and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend it and we are looking forward to returning in the future.

  • A terrific little apartment, ideally situated for our walking weekend. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Little extras of milk, cereals, spread, tea, coffee and sugar were much appreciated. Jo was very quick to respond to our messages and was on hand to greet us when we arrived. A great Sunday Carvery at the Pack O’Cards.... a great recommendation!

  • Amazing host such a warm welcome and very attentive threw out our stay, the apartment is so quaint and we'll equipped with everything we needed making our stay stress free I honestly would be happy to live there and will definitely be back... The host Jo also offers a sports therapist massage at an extra cost but I would highly recommend you take the opportunity to add this into your stay, I did and have never felt so relaxed she made the constant pain I've lived with for years just melt away. Thankyou again Jo

    Davina2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Joanne's flat was lovely, the perfect little cosy place to hunker down for the weekend!

    Megan2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely recommend Jo's place! I stayed for four weeks in October and had a wonderful time. It's the basement unit in her house, and it was perfect for one person. Two people would probably also love it. The ceiling/roof in the bathroom allows natural light in, and you can open up the backdoor (which opens onto a staircase) if you want some fresh air. That's all to say that, despite being a basement, it's better than your typical basement space. The bed and couch are both very comfy. There's a PlayStation with Netflix and a handful of DVDs and games, which are great if you're stuck inside on a really rainy day. Everything in the bathroom and kitchen met my expectations and was great for my long stay. The heat also worked well, although I did not need it very often thanks to the insulation. Jo is a tremendous host and made me feel right at home. I had plenty of privacy, but she checked in every now and then to see if I needed anything. It's exactly what I'm looking for in a host! She knows everything about the area, so she's also a great resource if you have questions about where to go, what to do. As to the location, it's right on the high street, about a ten minute walk to the beach and the main cluster of shops. There's also a grocery/Chinese takeaway and a pub that are even closer. I didn't have a car, but the bus stop is only about a minute away. You can also walk to Ilfracombe (about two hours) along the coast path or some pleasant, quiet country lanes.

  • Very well located for SW walkway with excellent hospitality. I arrived wet and muddy and they had all my gear washed and dried ready for the next day.

  • A really beautiful home filled with gorgeous art pieces that add so much character and warmth! The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable to rest up in during a week of hiking, plus a great breakfast in the morning. The location was also perfect being only a short walk to the beach, shops and Coastal Path - can’t ask for more!

  • A cosy and well appointed little flat right in the heart of Combe Martin. Lindsey’s hosting was excellent the flat is exactly as described and pictured. We were there for three nights with our 14month old daughter and had a fantastic time exploring the local area including walks to Little Hangman, Watermouth Cove and trips to Woolacombe and Ilfracombe. A wonderful few days, thank you. Highly recommended.

  • A warm, clean and cozy place to stay and enjoy North Devon.

  • Really enjoyed our stay in a beautiful part of Devon.

  • Lovely flat nice decor and had everything you need. Great location for beaches and walks friendly locals.

    Jennifer2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely property, located in beautiful picturesque village. Everything we needed was provided for us. Perfect for our family, and even though its a pet friendly property there was no smell of dogs as we've experienced before, everything was clean and tidy. Lovely comfortable beds, nice shower and kitchen well equipped. Steps at rear no problem for us but may be tricky for families with very young children, however front door can be used, and we actually dropped our kids off at front door while one of us drove car to parking space at rear.

    Elizabeth2019-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location and value for money!

    Jasmine2019-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • The flat is in a great location for a short walk into Combe Martin and the beach. Well equipped kitchen with all you need for a self catering holiday. Small note to anyone considering the flat, the toilet is located in a very small space and so anyone especially tall or especially curvy might struggle with the comfort of this facility! As Lindsey says on the listing, the steps to the back of the flat are very steep and so this should be taken into consideration when booking. Kids were very comfy in their beds and loved the games provided!

    Emma2018-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay, my daughter loved there was books to read & games to play. Great free WiFi, we didn’t cook but had everything you needed. Hope to return again one day.

This is a modern 2 Bedroom Chalet (42sqm) at Manleigh Park in Combe Martin on the edge of Exmoor between Lynton & Lynmouth and Ilfracombe, roughly 5 mins drive from the sea. The Chalet itself sleeps up to four people with 1 double room and 1 twin. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin and WC, there is also an open plan living/dining and kitchen space. The Chalet is brick built, well insulated and perfect for a short break or longer holiday any time of year. We are very dog friendly!
Manleigh Park is our home, it's a small holiday park owned and run by us with passion to give you the most relaxing peaceful holiday we possibly can. We've not lived here very long, but we knew as soon as we saw that view along the valley for the first time, that this was where we wanted to be. We'd love you to come and share it with us for your holiday. We have a lounge area with an informal bar to enjoy a fresh coffee and home made cake, a local cider maybe, or even some artisan West Country gin or vodka. The Wicked Wolf Gin is distilled just up the road at Watersmeet and Tors Vodka isn't too far away. Pizzas are available from our bar top mini pizza oven. We have an excellent 4G reception, WiFi is currently available in the bar area only, the password changes periodically but is always written up on the bar.
North Devon has so much to offer through all seasons. The moor, the beaches, the villages, all ready to be explored and enjoyed from your own private base. We are within striking distance of the Tarka Trail and numerous other footpaths and bridleways. Surfers can head to Croyde Bay or Woolacombe, paddle boarders and kayakers need just wander into the village. There are golf courses within a 10 minute drive, lots of local horse riding opportunities, there's even an Alpaca herd on the other side of the valley, not forgetting the Dinosaur Park. Fishing enthusiasts who've stayed with us say there is excellent local angling and lake fishing. Combe Martin itself is a lovely coastal village. We have at least 4 pubs (opening hours vary seasonally), numerous shops including one that makes and sells the best fudge (in my opinion anyway), a friendly deli (the best mince pies at Christmas), mini supermarkets and a lovely bay and beach with rock-pools. The village is on the South West Coast Path offering spectacular views whichever way you walk.
  • A really great find. Dog friendly, and a lovey lodge for the weekend. We will Be back.

  • Great. A few close friends and I stayed here for two nights. We had a lovely Welcome and weee made you feel at home straight away. Paris was particularly lovely and is an asset to the team. We will be back and the only negative was that they didn’t have a availability to stay another night.

  • We had a lovely stay at carols place, it was just me, my partner & our Labrador. The garden is huge and fully enclosed which gave us piece of mind for our Labrador. The cottage itself is lovely and cosy. We was welcomed with fresh bread, milk & wine which was a lovely touch. We will definitely be returning.

  • Cobblestone cottage was a delight to stay in - super clean , lovely welcome pack of bread, milk, fudge & wine & a beautiful enclosed garden which my dog loved too! Plenty of tips on where to eat, walk the dog or visit in north Devon as well. Carol was a great host & we definitely recommend a stay here! Thanks carol !

    Angie2019-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Carol’s place was more than we could have hoped for. She gave us simple, clear instructions to get there. The cottage was clean and homely, with added extras like homemade bread and fudge. Carol had prepared lots of recommendations for walks, pubs, amenities etc. We even found lots of fun board games to play. Our dog Sammy thoroughly enjoyed his stay, and the treats carol had left for him. 10/10!

  • Great cottage overlooking a perfect little town, our lodge is was super clean, modern and comfortable. Perfect hosts, the dog in the check in, was a big hit with our kids! Pizzas at the camp restaurant were delicious as well as reasonably priced. Excellent all round!

  • Our log cabin was spotlessly clean, comfortable and peaceful. We had tea and milk left for us to start us off, which was such a nice touch. The site is absolutely gorgeous with great views over to Combe Martin and the sea. The bar area was so friendly and welcoming - served great and reasonably priced pizzas and a good array of drinks. Steve, Judith and Baxter were great hosts. We loved the fact it was such a quiet and relaxed site and would love to return.

  • The log cabin was sparkling clean and in a lovely location on a quiet holiday park. Great bar/lounge area on site serving pizzas and ice cream. 15 minute walk to the village and 30 mins to the sea. Good location for visiting Exmoor and Ilfracombe.

    Lindsay2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • A little 'gem' of a holiday park that doesn't feel like a 'holiday park' at all! Peaceful location, great facilities (modern, clean, spacious) and a lovely, cozy bar on site.

    David2019-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Manleigh Holiday park is in a great elevated location overlooking Combe Martin. We stayed in a log cabin which was spacious and had all the necessary amenities for 4 adults + 1 baby. Very good value for money compared to other accommodation available in the area on our dates.

    Oli2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great communication from hosts, lodge on arrival was really clean and Manleigh Park as a whole seemed to be run fantastically. Hosts really welcoming especially in the bar, food was incredible and suprisingly our daughters dietary requirement of dairy free wasn't too much trouble if not easy as options were available with very little fuss. Manleigh park not difficult to find and close to Coombe Martin and other attractions.

Large, 3rd floor Apartment with big window and lots of light that has great views over the bay and harbour. Fantastic moorland, coastal and beach walks all around and a Leisure centre just up the road. A short walk from the town, Ilfracombe is a very popular holiday destination. I live in the apartment along with my small pet dog, who is very friendly. I get on very well with people and being retired have lots of time to give.
All facilities that Ilfracombe has to offer: Beautiful scenery, coffee shops, bars, arcades, fast food, cafes, supermarkets, etc are within a very short walk from the apartment and my favourite pub/bar "The Thatch" is just round the corner. There is a medical centre in town if needed.

  • Great value for money for a seaside town in Devon! A short walk from the harbour and on-street parking almost outside. Great views of the hills and the Damien Hurst statue at the end of the harbour. Sam is very welcoming as is his very playful 1 year old dog 'Winston' Sam provides a choice of 'help yourself' breakfasts, plenty of clean towels, bathroom essentials and bottled water in the large twin bed room. Yes there are a few steps up to the apartment and it's not in the centre of town but all the above adds up to great value!

    Roger2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Clean room with a laid back easy to get on with host.

    Tom2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Sam was a great host - very friendly and welcoming - and with the aid of his excellent local knowledge we found our way to the best fish and chips restaurant in town! The apartment was clean, and beds extremely comfortable. Sam offered us full use of his kitchen, and we availed ourselves of the wide range of breakfast cereals and fresh fruit on offer. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you, Sam!

There are golf courses within a 10 minute drive, lots of local horse riding opportunities, ther's even an Alpaca herd on the other side of the vally, not forgetting the Dinosaur Park.
  • Its our second time here and we had a great time, the whole place is great with restaurant on site and the owners are so accommodating and helpful. We will be back every year when we visit family in the area

  • We had a lovely week at Steve & Judith’s place. Our holiday home was clean, the bed’s were so comfortable, and the pillows perfect! ( we normally bring our own) The pizzas at the bar were lovely. Dogs welcome with the dog field also, the views are so beautiful . Great touch and no excuse for not picking up, dog bags around the site & plenty of bins. A lovely quiet small Uncommercialised site to explore north Devon .

  • Phil and Lynn are great hosts. They are very kind, quick to respond, nice, and very welcome. The chocolate cupcakes were super delicious, we couldn't have enough, if there is more maybe we will not be able stop eating them. The house is so much better than the photos. And the view is really amazing, indeed more stunning than Phil has advertised. I will stay at Phil's again whenever I visit Ifracombe. Outstanding value.

  • Fantastic stay. Hosts very helpful and respondent. Place very clean and comfortable. Brilliant location near a nice pub and 5 min drive from sea. There was even an exquisite cream tea waiting in the fridge when we arrived. Would recommend, 10/10 for the reasonable price.

  • The property is a gem of a place. Had everything we needed including a great view. Very good value and our hosts, Phil & Lynne, attended to our requests promptly.

  • Our stay was excellent! The living space is really good, much better than we were expecting. Really well equipped kitchen and nice bathroom. The views are amazing, the photos don't do it justice! If you are looking for a get away break, the location is spot on - brilliant local pub with many friendly locals, lots of walks nearby and stunning scenery. Phil and Lynne were very welcoming, and were very quick to respond when we had questions. Brilliant value for money, and we will be booking again!

  • What a wonderful place and lovely hosts This wonderful place is really peaceful with a lovely outlook across the valley. Phil and Lynne were very welcoming and left us a lovely cream tea for when we arrived. The place was spotlessly clean and excellently presented with everything we needed. They showed us around, explained how everything worked and although they were close by, they left us to our own devices. After a few days they sent us a message to see if we needed clean towels.

    Kim2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful view of the hills in Berrynarbour, from the garden patio, a very comfortable apartment, every thing you need and a welcome cream tea. Phil and Lyn are wonderful hosts.

The area is lovely too, just a short walk to the sea and beautiful Devon countryside all round. We had an amazing weekend here, will be coming back as soon as we can!

This exclusive mobile home is located on the edge of the Exmoor National Park, in the village of Combe Martin, on a small working farm. It is fully equipped with all you will need to have a relaxing, peaceful holiday, with magnificent panoramic views of the beach and Hangman Hill. Its just a 10 minute walk to the centre of the village, beach and local amenities.
  • It’s a working farm as it says so we expected to be up at crack of dawn.... but we slept until we woke naturally every day. The caravan is clean and exactly what a caravan should be. Functional too. Fire to warm quickly when it’s cold. Outside picnic table that overlooks the dipping sun on a beautiful cove. Nobody else except Sharon and her family around. We were busy most days and all day, but Sharon was happy for my boy to play with her children if he wanted. If we had one more day then we may have managed! We were left alone to complete our adventures and met up at the end to make sure all was well. A nice stay. If you like stars bring a telescope. No artificial light at night! Lovely.

  • A warm welcome, fresh milk, sweets for the children and beautiful views! The farm was lovely and peaceful and the caravan was spotlessly clean and tidy. We had everything that we needed to make our stay stress free. Sharon & family were always very helpful, friendly and made us feel welcome. Meeting and holiday their 3 day old piglets was a highlight of our holiday! Along with walking into Combe Martin for fish & chips and watching the most amazing sunset on the beach. We will 100% be returning and highly recommend staying here.

  • Lovely space, great value for money. Valerie & Victor were v generous in providing a cream tea on arrival and toys and books for our toddler to play with

    Camilla2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • On arrival we were pleased and surprised to find out that our hosts had thought to provide some basic provisions such as a small amount of milk, tea and coffee so we could settle a little before heading to the shops. There was the more than appreciated touch of some homemade scones ready for us which we all enjoyed whilst unpacking. The hosts were very welcoming and kind with helpful hints on where to go, what to see and where to find the best fish and chips. A lovely quiet location where we could relax as a family and enjoy our holiday. Thank you to Valerie and Victor and anyone who goes here will be pleased with the welcome and hospitality.

  • Valerie’s house is very spacious and in a quiet rural area and has a lovely garden. It is in a very small village and has a pub down the road. The apartment within the house has all the basic requirements for your stay and Valerie provided some welcoming Devon cream scones. It is about 20 mins drive to Ilfracombe and a short drive down to the coastal area.

  • Very clean, very comfortable bed. Lovely shower room, new white goods in kitchen. Well worth the money. Lovely little village and excellent food from local pub.

    Pam2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • We were greeted by Valerie, Victor and their young grandson Freddie when we arrived who showed us around the space, which included a delicious cream tea, thank you! The space is a generous sized 2 bedroom annex to a family home with it's own entrance. It's in a quiet tiny village within driving distance of Exmoor, Lynton and Lynmouth, Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and many other places holiday makers like to visit. It's very remote so you will need a car which suited us just fine. Valerie and Victor were so helpful with local information and, as they are around most of the time, were always available for tips which included the local church that you can see from the house. Valerie is a great host, very accommodating, very responsive and had ensured that all the essentials (hand soap, toilet roll, towels, bin bags etc) that you need for a holiday were there which is such a great touch. Thank you!

This stunning detached Victorian house was built for an Admiral & retains much grandeur. Built into the hillside it commands wonderful views, and being south facing is bathed in sunlight all day. The SW coastal path runs along the back of the house, so you have easy access to cliff top walks. There's 1/2 acre of terraced gardens at the house, the nearest beach is a 5 min walk, 15 min stroll to the harbour - the house is in a great location. Ilfracombe is full of independent eateries.
The Quarry is owned by an artist and furniture designer. The interior is filled with handmade furniture, original art, a full library and vintage finds. However it's a very comfortable place - many guests remark on how homely it is. It was our home for 4 years & is furnished as such. We spent a good few years restoring the house, rewiring & replumbing throughout. The original size of all the bedrooms has been kept - so they’re huge and all offer wonderful views. You'll find 2 magnificent family bathrooms, one with an impressive vintage claw foot tub, and 2 en suites. They are kept simple - wooden floors, bright paintings & vintage furniture. Great quality linen is used, with warm throws & hot water bottles for chilly winter nights. There are beds to sleep 13. The enormous sitting room/dining room / library has 2 pairs of original French doors leading onto a seaview terrace with table & chairs and stunning views. Its painted a gorgeous deep blue which contrasts beautifully with the bright St Ives school paintings & the white shelves full of books & games. The dining table can sit all guests, and there's plenty of seating in the sitting room. In the colder months guests can use the open fire here, there are always lots of logs in the conservatory. It's great for winter stays too. The kitchen 2nd dining area is a similar size, with a cosy AGA. The best quality appliances have been used (miele extra size oven, smeg dishwasher, big american fridge / freezer) guests always comment on how wonderfully equipped the kitchen is. There’s also a walk in larder laundry room. The owners can recommend 2 great caterers to help with cooking a wonderful masseuse who can come to the house.
Ilfracombe is a pretty, Victorian seaside town. It boasts a picturesque working harbour, many wonderful restaurants and cafes, and a fascinating local beach. Woolacombe Bay, with its 3 miles of golden sand great surf, is a 10 minute drive away.
  • We absolutely loved our stay at Kirstie’s house. We celebrated a surprise 40th birthday in Devon and the house suited us perfectly. Communication was great and the whole experience was easy and our stay comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful house in Devon to visit. I hope we’ll get an opportunity to return again.

    Mark2019-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best AirBnBs I’ve stayed in. The house is incredible, the location great and the amenities are abundant. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Perfect for chilled evenings inside or out; perfect for long walks and beach days.

    Alex2019-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • Kirstie's home is wonderful! Our group consisted of 10 adults, 4 children and 2 babies, and there was ample space for us all. The Victorian house has huge rooms, high ceilings, original features, fireplaces, a mix of contemporary and vintage furniture and everything you would need to cater for a big group. We particularly loved bathing in the roll-top bath, everyone fitting comfortably around the huge table in the open-plan dining and living room, opening the French doors, cooking in both the aga and oven, keeping warm and cosy by the fireplace and each family having their own space spread across the three floors. The house was exceptionally clean and it was easy to regulate the heating. Communication and details from Kirstie were swift and spot-on, and their housekeeper was always at the end of the phone if we needed her during our stay. We could easily walk to the small beach and harbour in Ilfracombe, and drive 10-20 minutes to Woolacombe, Putsborough or Croyde. Everyone adored the house and wish to return for another gathering. We would highly recommend this place.

    Amber2019-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you so much Kristie and Gaelle for such a fantastic stay! The home was beautiful- the sun coming through the windows in the morning and AGA stove keeping us warm through the night. Great games selection, movies, amazingly stocked kitchen, a beautiful restful bath, comfortable bed... everything! We would most definitely stay again.

    Hayley2018-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved this house and would definitely come back. It was clean and spacious...we lived in luxury for the week! And the home made scones waiting for us when we arrived were very much enjoyed. The house is so conveniently situated too. We were in easy distance of Putsborough Beach (which is great for surfing), Coombe Martin (which is great for kayaking) , Lynton, Lynmouth & Valley Of The Rocks. This was a holiday home that we won't forget and would definitely return for another stay.

    Lorraine2018-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • Kirstie's place is spotless beautifully designed and even bigger than it appears on the photos! Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the roll top bath tub, but will almost certainly book again. Ilfracoombe is stunning with lots to see and beautiful coastal walks.

This small apartment is located near the leafy area of Torrs Park, a stone's throw from the rugged coastal foot path with breathtaking views and cliff walks to Lee, Mortepoint, Woolacombe and beyond. Ten minutes walk away is The Tunnels beach with it's rock pools and safe bathing natural pool. We are 15 minutes walk to the harbour and Fore street with it's great selection of dining venues. Exmoor is a 20 drive from us.
Our apartment is based on the ground floor of a victorian villa looking out to a walled garden. It is located in a quiet area of the town yet only a short walk from all the local amenities. The apartment is light and airy and a haven for walkers or beach lovers. White Pebble beach is a 15 minute walk from us.
Situated in the harbour is Damien Hirst's sculpture Verity which is well worth viewing, you can also enjoy a boat trip to Lundy island or ride the sea safari to Combe Martin or Woolacombe. There is a handful of art galleries and great places to eat a short walk from the harbour, not forgetting the tea rooms and cafes for the all essential famous cream tea!!

  • We were attending a wedding at The Tunnels and stayed here for a couple of days. It’s a 10 minute walk from the centre in a quiet residential area with easy parking at the front door. The flat itself is really lovely and pretty much perfect for a couple. Communication with Ingrid was excellent and the whole process from start to finish was seamless. She allowed us to check in slightly earlier than scheduled to get our glad rags on before heading down to the wedding, we really appreciated that. I’d highly recommend this great little flat to anyone.

  • Lovely little flat and great location to town centre, amenities and coastal path / tunnels beach! Ingrid was very accommodating, even making the exception and allowing our toddler to stay!

  • A comfortable, clean and quiet apartment. We loved the decor and the edible goodies provided were an added bonus. Within easy reach of the amenities of Ilfracombe and a delightful place to come back to and relax at the end of the day.

  • Lovely campsite in quite location. First time ‘glamping’ but needed all our camping equipment, apart from the tent. Big advantage over canvas is that you don’t get the dew from clear September nights. Fire pit most welcome.

  • Really nice camp site

    Matthew2019-08-23T00:00:00Z

  • We loved our stay in the glamping pod! Very cosy and comfortable. The facilities onsite are very clean and it’s one of the nicest camping sites I’ve been too. There is a heater in the pod which was really helpful after a day of surfing to help dry out our wetsuits! We couldn’t recommend this place more (don’t forget to bring a bed). Thank you for a lovely break!

    Laura2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great site. Close to the sea, clean, friendly staff, good amenities.

    Greg2019-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • The pods at Hele are fantastic - it's a great compromise between camping and expensive glamping. The site is wonderfully kept and welcoming. The local towns and beaches are blissful.our favourite memory is roasting marshmallows whilst watching the sun set over the hills. Thoroughly recommended!

  • A brief but very comfortable and welcoming stay at Debbie's. Excellent location in regards to the seafront and the theatre. All amenities provided and privacy respected.

  • Brilliant location in quite no through road and 5 mins walk to Wetherspoons! Car park easy to find as Ilfracombe is known for not having enough private parking. Very clean, excellent size bedroom with modern bright large shower room on the same floor. Debbie was a lovely host.

  • I’ve stayed in Ilfracombe a few time due to work and always used small hotels/B&B’s. A friend recommended Debbie’s air B&B and I’m converted. If you are looking for somewhere to stay that’s clean, smart and friendly look no further.
