Enchanting holiday villa in a panoramic position on the green hills covered with hazelnut trees, grapes and olive groves, situated on a plateau 292 m above sea level near the WWF Oasis of Corchiano.
VILLA IRIS is in southern Tuscia only 60 km from Rome, which can be easily reached in less than an hour thanks to the excellent train services that connect this area with the capital.
VILLA IRIS is on the outskirts of Corchiano, that can be reached also on foot with an easy walk, so it is not necessary to have a car. In the area, which is at the feet of the Cimini mountains, several Etruscan tombs have been found. Important archaeological finds can be admired in the museum of Villa Giulia in Rome and in the museum of Forte Sangallo in Civita Castellana.

La Cerqua is a country house inside the WWF oasis of Pian Sant’Angelo. A typical Italian country villa immersed in wild nature and local agriculture, beside prehistoric ruins, Tuscia ancient citizens’ monuments and Medieval villages in Northern Lazio.
The villa has been completely restructured last year. It is located in the middle of a 5000sqm lawn and is equipped with WiFi and cable TV.
The country house is placed on the land of an agricultural farm in a WWF naturalistic Oasis. In this area the volcanic plains are engraved by streams that have originated canyons, peculiar to the Etruscan region. Due to its preserved wildness, the close surroundings are the natural habitat to many birds and animals such as night owls, pheasants, quails, rabbits, hares, wild boars, badgers, foxes and many others.
Although it is already very enjoyable to walk autonomously around the house and dive into the pure nature of the Oasis. It is even possible to be guided by an expert in the visit. He or She will tell you everything about the plants and animals living in the naturalistic area.
There are 2 sites of particular naturalistic interest: Pian Sant Angelo and Le Forre di Corchiano.

In hot summer days I would recommend the Vico Lake. It is only 20km far and it is the best play to refresh swimming in the fresh water of the lake. I also like to rent a kayak and carefully explore the coves often full of various birds nesting.

The area is very peaceful, surrounded by fields and forest as well as some very gorgous horses. The house is spacious, clean and characterful and we spent most days enjoying the pool. Rosy and Luigi really went above and beyond in the kindness, generosity and help they gave us. My parents had problems with their vehicle and they certainly would not have managed without the assistance of our hosts. Anything we could have needed I felt was available to us. We were greeted with some lovely local foods and we were always made to feel welcomed. Thanks Rosy!

This newly rennovated independent apartment has a spectacular view of Lake Bracciano. It has the all the modern conveniences one could want and a lovely outside space.
The apartment has one double bed plus a single sofabed, a kitchen alcove, wifi, satelllite tv, dvd player, air conditioning, bathroom with shower and outside patio space.
The apartment is on the ground floor of a villa situated in a park between two lovely medieval towns on Lake Bracciano, Trevignano Romano and Anguillara. It is also close to the hillside town of Bracciano which hosts a beautiful castle (where Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were married). The lake area offers sailing, swimming, scuba diving, canoeing, biking and trekking. There are great restaurants, cafes and shops. At the same time the apartment is only 40 minutes from the center of Rome and all it has to offer. It is also a pivotal point for travel throughout Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany.
There are busses on the main road and a train from Anguillara to Rome, but its really best to have a car
The apartment is located in a park. It is a very pastoral setting with beautiful oak trees, rolling hills, a wide range of birds and sheep grazing in the fields.

We felt very comfortable in her well appointed studio but most of all loved the location - quiet and yet just a few minutes from lake Bracciano and just 45 minutes from Rome Fiumicino airport. June gave us great advice on a fantastic beach/swimming area 5 mins from the house and also booked us a table an amazing restaurant Harvey's) in the nearby village of Anguillara Sabazia. Our stay with June was the perfect winding-down from a great holiday in Italy before an early morning flight. Highly recommended.

La casa era tranquilla,ma il canto di gli uccellini erano vivace. La mattina ci siamo svegliato con il canto,eravamo felicissimo. Il soggiorno a Relais prestigius and Unique era contentissimo!!
