  • Awesome place in a top-notch location. We were fortunate to have fantastic weather during our stay and enjoyed the house with its immediate surroundings - fishing down by the hut by the water, watching the views from the philosopher's bench, hiking up the Digermulkollen, and swimming by the Trollskaret Beach on Årsteinen Island. The house is well furnished and up-to-date - yet in an old, cozy and personal style. Thanks!

  • We were 2 adults and 2 kids spending few nights at this lovely cabin. The cabin is exactly like in the pictures plus a bit more. We were looking for an authentic Norwegian cabin to stay while seeing Lofoten and Digermulen area and this was perfect for it. There is enough space inside the cabin and all the necessary cooking supplies are found. The yard is big enough for the kids to play and there was a path to a bench near the beach where you could sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. It was super easy to communicate with Trine and everything worked well. I would definately come back again.

  • Årstein Island is phenomenal and this house a terrific place to stay and just relax! Recommended!

  • Very cozy and lovingly furnished house with a beautiful view. We felt very comfortable here and would have liked to stay longer than 3 days. In the immediate vicinity you can make great mountain walks with great views. Please note that you can not drink the tap water and use it for cooking. In the village there is a small supermarket where you can buy 5 liter canisters of water. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for cooking. Clear recommendation!

  • A wonderful, peaceful place. Picturesque area. Cottage spacious and equipped with everything you need. Prepare yourself for drinking water in advance.

    Paweł2019-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy accommodation with beautiful views of Store Molla and the sea. There are comfortable sofas, 3 bedrooms, bathroom with underfloor heating, well equipped kitchen. You can sit in the open air when it is warm or walk to a bench and enjoy the view of the sea. The landscape is unique. Hiking, mountaineering, paddling, cycling anything possible. You have to bring the equipment with you. Out of season there is no supply in town. The shop is only open on May 8th. So bring everything else the next market is far away. You can refuel though in digermuls.

  • This place is amazing, a few meters away from the water, it is so peaceful and quiet. If I ever come to Lofoten again I'll definitely repeat!

The location is peacefull with magnificent view over the Lofoten mountains. The villa is historical and unique, but renovated to modern standard. Digermulen is a little village with a small grocery shop and is best known for the stunning nature. Amazing hiking trips are available from just outside the door in any direction. The house is also only 300 metres from the local beautiful beach, perfect for sunbathing, swimming or kayaking. There are kayaks for rent at the beach for adults and kids. The water in Lofoten is crystal clear and makes it perfect for diving and snorkling. The house is close to Trollfjorden a narrow fjord surrounded by 1000 meter high mountains with glaciers. A highlight on the norwegian coast line. Also just behind the villa you can hike to "Keiservarden", a mountain landmark famous for being visited by Kaiser Wilhelm several times. This villa is a perfect hidden gem for people that loves breathtaking nature, unique experiences and quietness. From our house you overlook the highest peaks in Lofoten. You will find amazing hiking terrain in this area. Not to mention the kayaking possibilities in the nearby archipelago. Digermulen is also perfect for skiing trips in the winter and have been used in different ski movies with great succes. Search for kompanilofoten to find amazing videos from the villa and surroundings and to know more about our skiing programme.
In Digermulen you can experience everything Norway is famous for. We are surrounded by the highest peaks in Lofoten with glaciers and waterfalls. You find the magical Trollfjord here, a narrow trolly fjord, easily accessed from Digermulen. East of Digermulen you find an endless archipelago with more than 330 islands, some with sandy beaches perfect for boat trips and kayaking. We can help you organize a memorable boat trip on our boat. Look at the pictures to get an impression! You can also rent kayaks in Digermulen. In the surrounding mountains you will find lots of marked hiking trails suitable for all levels. Some of them lead you up to small fishing lakes and all of them lead you up to explore fantastic views. Digermulen has very little traffic and beautiful cosy roads perfect for cycling. Talking about cycling, Digermulen has great downhill cycling too. The diving possablities around Digermulen is fantastic. There is also great climbing all over the place. In wintertime you can go skiing just outside the house. From the end of february till the middle of may we organize skitouring adventures based from our house. Theese adventures are all inclusive with food and guiding included. We use our boat to access the roadless mountains and to catch some fish for dinner on our way back. We have a small slope for kids in the garden where they can play in the snow. We hike the peaks in this area all winter. The best skiing season is december to mid may. In the village ,situated 300 meters from the house, you will find the local beach. This is perfect for all kinds of bech activities and kayaking. 8 km from the house there is an amazing double beach. 1 km from the house is our local food shop where you will find the basic food ingredients and beer. In norway we have monopoly for wine and liquer sales. The nearest wineshop is in Svolvær 75km from Digermulen.
  • Good sized house in quite a remote area which we enjoyed (there is a shop within 1km). Beautiful mountain views and a stunning drive to get there. The house wouldn’t be for people that need easy access, notably the bedrooms that are all up reasonably steep ladder stairs. Elise is a great host, very helpful and informative, and went over and above to ensure that we had a great stay. Thanks Elise!

  • Excellent welcome for our group of 14 people Very relaxing place and beautiful hikes nearby We spent a magical boat day with Eiwind under bright sunshine and especially enjoyed fishing (young and old) Thank you Eiwind for this exceptional welcome

  • Amazing house with a spectacular view and a great host

    Maria2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • We spent a wonderful week as a family of 9 adults and one toddler in Digermulen relaxing, enjoying the lush nature around the house, taking short hikes in the surroundings or going for a swim at a white beach a 5 mins drive from the house. Communication was easy and quick and we got a lot of great ideas for excursions in advance so we could plan and look forward to it before our stay. The house is well furnished and perfectly equipped, a small museum full of life. Ideal for a big family. Many cosy corners where you can retreat and have your peace and quiet, but also a dining room where you can meet. Some bedrooms are connected, but that wasn't a problem. The house was very clean and the beds are comfortable and nice. My little nephew loved all the provided toys and was very busy all the time cooking and building trains. We adults especially enjoyed the evenings sitting on the terrace near the fire bowl and enjoying the amazing view of the mountains. We also went for a boat trip and fishing. An unforgettable, perfect experience! Thank you so much for having us!

    Bettina2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • The house is just a gem. It is old but beautifully restored with a lovely garden and wonderful view. Everyone in our family group with ages 7 to 83 loved the time spent there.

    Berit2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic house with lots of charm! Great opportunities for hiking around the house knot. Close to nice beach and fishing from cliffs. We will be back!

    Marie2019-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • We were 9 people, two families, who spent five nights in this wonderful villa. There was plenty of space, well equipped (eg the kitchen, dining room, shower and toilet). The decor and all the beautiful details gave the house a unique charm. Great views and surroundings, we enjoyed the patio. We also appreciated the hiking trails that were in the immediate area, one of the joints was just a stone's throw from the house. Eivind was an incredible host, he was hospitable and friendly, he also gave many great tips on things to do during the week, but him and his good friend and neighbor Dag had not been as successful this week! One of the days Eivind took us out on an unforgettable boat trip in the Digermulens archipelago, when we visited Trollfjorden, fished cod and landed on some small islands. We warmly recommend this accommodation!

    Mats2019-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • A fantastic house with an equally fantastic location. We went around part of Lofoten but are all agreed that this place was the most beautiful. Incredibly hospitable accommodation and we highly recommend taking the boat trip to Trollfjorden as well.

  • This is the best place we’ve stayed in Norway. View is spectacular, hospitality was friendly and welcoming. Cosy beds, good shower, wood fire and heaters, plenty of space for a family. If you’re looking for a halfway spot between Evenes and Reine, this is as good as it gets. Photos don’t do this place justice. We look forward to returning one day.

  • Thanks so much for the hospitality! We really liked everything! Very comfortable, we felt like at home! We were a family of four here, it was convenient and spacious for us. Even in winter, in the evening, it was easy to find a drive to the house, and the owners worried that it was easy to find and set up special signs on the road. We were surrounded by a beautiful landscape! I think that it would be possible to ski here. It is a pity that we had little time and we could not stay here longer! I recommend, we liked it! Sorry for the delay with the review, we were on a trip and were a little late with the review. I hope that everything will be fine and everyone will be healthy!

    Anaïs2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The house is spacious and comfortable. Fortunately, because during the two days of our stay gusts of winds and snowstorm prevented us from going out and we could not enjoy the beautiful views of the fjord.

Experience an adventure by the ocean in Lofoten! Located by the beach, with amazing mountains as close by neighbors. A newly renovated house with a modern kitchen. Beautiful living room. Brand new bathroom. Sauna on the beach. "Kvitsand" is perfect for families, babies, kids, pets and playful people of all ages.
  • We have been here a lot of times. It is perfect place to stay. Quiet spot with nature around you!

  • Tor Henrik has a wonderful house in an amezing place. Sunsets are incredibles. Kids have spent a very good time swimming and kayaking around.

    Javier2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • This is the best accommodation I have ever had at Air BNB. The location of the house is fantastic. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired. The house has a sauna with a dream view of the Fjord. In the sauna breaks you can cool off in the cool Fjördwasser. From the dining area you have a great view of the beach and sees daily the ships of Hurtigruten passing, which drive in the Trollfjörd. The house is equipped with 8 kayaks, a SUP, a fireplace for evening hours together, life jackets, wetsuits and much more. The house Digermulkollen (363 m) is ideal for hiking or camping. The village of Digermulen has a small but very well stocked shop. Svolvaer is approx. 70 km away, with great hiking and activities. All in all, a great house highly recommended.

  • One amazing place. Nice hosts. We had a great time.

    Silje2019-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great house in the tiny town of Digermulen. Perfect as a basecamp for exploring Lofoten. We went ski touring and surfing, and spent every night in the sauna - a fantastic place to relax. Well-equipped kitchen and lots of beds. We’d definitely stay here again.

    Nicklas2019-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • Tor Henrik’s house is fantastic. The view is amazing, you can see the northern light with the sea and the mountains as a background. And the sauna, that is amazing as well! I highly recommend this place, one of the best airbnb I even been!

Newly renovated charming house, magnificent view by the sea. Located in small community, calm surroundings. Lofoten's highest mountain as nearest neighbor! Perfect base for exploring Lofoten! Fully equipped - perfect for 2 couples or a family. The house has WiFi.
The house is newly renovated, easy to access, with a calm location near the sea and Lofotens highest mountain. 4 new beds in 3 bedrooms, nice cosy living room and fully equipped kitchen. A 5th movable bed can be provided on request.
The house is situated in a calm countryside area, with a fair distance to other houses, and no busy traffic disturbing your stay. The Lofoten Islands are very crowded during the top tourist season of June - August, and this house offers you the peace and quietness you deserve when you are on vacation.
  • Nice place in fantastic surroundings. Large house with everything you need.

  • Super accommodation in a beautiful location!

    Pákozdi2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic place for those who want to wake up with a full view of the fjord, but still be close enough to get to svolvær town centre (20 mins by car). A wonderful host with fast communication really made the whole process as smooth as possible. An absolute dream. Thank you!

    Neal2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • The house is just gorgeous! It is a detached, beautifully renovated and modern furnished house. We enjoyed the peace very much and were fortunate to see the Northern Lights on three evenings directly from the house! The nearest shops are in Svolvær, which is just over 20 minutes away. That was not a problem for us as we combined our purchases with our daytrips. On the way back to Hermunds house we often made a stop in Svolvær. Hermund personally welcomed us on arrival and was very friendly. It was very hard for us to leave Laupstad and the beautiful house and we hope to return one day!

    Hanna2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely, cosy and warm house in a spectacular setting. Fully recommended!

    Corinne2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • The house is very beautiful and unbeatable. It has all the services and is very well equipped with everything you need. Very clean, great and comfortable. In a quiet area with spectacular views. Great accommodation to visit all the Lofoten areas. Hermund answers all your questions and worries that everything is fine. A great host. If we return to the area surely it will be in the same accommodation.

  • Cool and well equipped apartment right in the house of the ferry harbor of Fiskebøl. The kitchen is good equipped, you can find everything you need. A small balcony heads right to the Fjord with a great view especially in the morning. Overall a nice and clean place on the Lofoten.

  • Very good

    Kristoffer2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Nice apartment, beautiful view. Large terrace where you can have breakfast. Very good bedding, blankets and pillows. It is convenient to accommodate your family, as you have to sleep in one room (the sofa does not fold out in a large room) For those involved in fishing, there are special sinks for cutting fish and a large freezer. We could not fully appreciate this, since we are not fishermen. Recommended!

  • Overall all is good. Note that this is a ferry building, the line of cars is always right here, but no windows go to the road side, so they don't disturb.

    Eugene2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • The house is just beside a ferry and has a great sea view. Quite cozy to stay in.

    Lu2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious apartment and very well located. An excellent base for visiting Lofoten and Vesterålen. Is from a small ferry. But without any embarrassment (we hardly ever realize departures and arrivals) Situation "feet in the water" at the edge of a fjord. A delight ! This apartment can accommodate up to 5 people. Some very small details. It would be nice if there was a toaster, some washing up liquid, a towel rack in the bathroom and trash bags. But, as I say, they are very small details. Think about bringing food, there is nothing nearby. Still note: we did not meet Eirik, but the key is found in a code box at the entrance. So, perfect. And, finally, the wifi works very well. Short! Very happy with the stay.

• Off the E10, very quiet, with a great view! Perfect for hiking, fishing in the fjord, kayaking and visiting the Trollfjord.

    Knut2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding accommodation! One of the best we’ve stayed at in all of our travels in Europe. The view out the windows is stunning. House is sparkly clean. Kitchen is well equipped. Large bathroom with nice size shower and efficient washer and dryer. Beds are comfortable and windows have black out shades. We used the fishing poles across the street at the boat dock where you can also sit on the rocks at the edge of the sea. There is a small boat available to rent which we enjoyed very much, exploring the Trollfjord and surrounding waterway. All in all, this is a lovely home which should please all.

  • What a great place to spent a nice holiday! The location is good to relax in a beautiful natural surrounding. The cottage looks really nice, is super clean and equipped modern and cozy. The view on the mountains and the Fjord can be enjoyed perfectly through the large windows. Also, the kitchen equipment is more than enough. A stay can be highly recommended.

  • Super equipped house, with priceless view. Excellent cleaning. Bedrooms very 'sacrificed compared to Italian standards. The village is 5 minutes away by car and there are a petrol pump and a well equipped mini market. Wonderful place, highly recommended.

Small and cosy cabin in Lofoten. Near by the ocean and surrounded by mountains, perfect location for skiing and hiking. The cabin has a terrace with a beautiful view out the fjord and is located 20 min from Svolvær by car.
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here as well as the amazing views from pretty much every window. We even could see both of our ski tours from the kitchen windows, which was certainly a bonus. Also we loved the new fireplace - we had probably some of the coziest evenings ever here. We‘ll definitely come back.

  • a small but very welcoming house, cleanliness was impeccable, we found everything you need to cook, wash clothes and everything else, it also has a dishwasher. the view in front of the house is inexplicable in words and karoline is always available to answer any doubts, sin we did not meet.

  • This is a wonderful little house in an absolute stunning location with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is decorated with style and attention to detail and in addition there is a beautiful view out to the fjord. Karoline was quick in responding any queries; all in all a highly recommendable place!

    Doris2019-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is even better than advertised. It is set up in a very nice location with outstanding views of the fjord. It is newly renovated to the highest standards but remains traditional, thanks to an attentive touch given to the decor, incorporating vintage items. It is a good size for 2-4 people. The place was neatly set up for our arrival which made us feel very welcomed. I really wished I could have stayed longer and enjoyed the stunning terrasse a bit more.

We offer you a stay in our cozy, small caravan. We are situated 5 min outside Svolvær, on a sheep farm. Close to the airport. We think that this is a perfect spot for you if you want to explore the Lofoten and Vesterålen archipelago. From here you can reach out to the most places in the area for daytrips and mountain hikes. And it`s not far from boats that takes you out for different safaries like going to see Trollfjorden and/ or eagels.
The caravan is situated on a farm 4,5 km (50 min walk) from Svolvær. We got sheeps and chickens, dogs, cats and a horse. The caravan fits two grownups and two kids. It is small so we recomend you to find a bigger place if you are Three or four grownup people, cause it will get stuffed in there with a party of four unless you are two couples who like eachothers company very much. It contains two beds, one 120 x 200cm big(permanent bed), and one foldout bed 180 x 200 cm in the dining area (wich means that you have to physicaly fold it out by your self if you need two beds. The table is a part of the bed. Instructions will be given to you when you arrive). There`s a small kitchen that contains a sink with cold water and two hotplates and what you need of cutteries, cups, plates, potts and pans. This sure is a quiet place on earth yet interupted by a few small PLANES a day. (It's not noisy jet planes though) Well there are about 8 flights a day. The first one arrives quite early in the mornong (I think it is about 4:30). Its a bit noise from the engins like 2- 5 minutes every time. We appreciate the feed back the travelers has given us. But we find it very hard to figure what people like. With in two days we`ve got 3 - 5 stars without changing anything. Some calls our caravan romantic others worn-out. Some says it`s clean other says could have been cleaner. The caravan is from 1987, has original cusions and curtains. It has been used quite much. We are not really hiding from anyone that the bathroom in the main house is shared with quite many people. There is a saying that says you get what you pay for. This is one of the cheapest alternatives in the area. So if you are a person that expects this to be a five star hotel room, you will be deeply disapointed. One of our guests said: "This is just Perfect. Here I can watch the boats on the fjord, the planes arriving and leaving, enjoy the nice view watching the animals peacefull grasing the area. In the caravan I can hear the natures sounds like the rain and the wind. And best of all no tourists at all."
Close to Svolvær airpor!!! It is still quite quiet. I see some guests consider it as impossible to stay as close (about 200 meters) Others doesn't care. We love the peace of the place. The nature and the surroundings.
  • Everything was exactly as described and I totally loved this place! There are 2-3 flights a day in the nearby airport, but the noise isn't disturbing at all and you get used to it very fast. It really adds some colour or taste to your stay watching planes take off 200 meters away from you. The walk to Svolvaer takes ~1 hour or less, and passing short tunnel is very easy for there is kind of a path to walk. You can make wonderful hikes in the area (which I loved much more that hiking up to touristy Floya in Svolvaer). And you can watch Aurora Borealis literally from your bed (I watched it from the window behind my pillow!). If you go by bus from Narvik you can jump off at "Svolvaer Lufthavn kryss" stop which is near the airport and the farm. I'd like to say big thank you to the hosts and all my kind wishes to them and their family. And their cats :)

    Morten2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • we got the smaller van, but good enough for two. everything as described. The bathroom is inside the main house so it's a short cold walk at night. Overall it was a fun experience

  • We stayed here one night not only because it is a cheap accommodation but because we liked the idea of staying in a caravan in the middle of nature and of the beautiful landscapes and so it was! Although the caravan is small, it has everything you need, it is well stocked. The host was very kind and very helpful to us. We had a great time

  • Cool and charming caravan near Svolvær and the airport. Perfectly suited for us last night in Lofoten on our way to Harstad. Gas kitchen which worked fine and we were given a bathroom with shower in the main house. Tiptop thumbs up!

Simple but charming holiday cottage in the outskirts of the town Laupstad, right by the beautiful fjord Austnesfjorden north of Svolvær. Bring your whole family to explore the nature of the north, or find a quiet mountain lake to fish in and enjoy the calmness. There is also plenty of fish in the fjord. The house is the perfect starting point for roadtrips to Vesterålen and to Svolvær, the unofficial capital of Lofoten. The two of the single beds in can be combined. Parking 50 meters. In Lofoten, on the south side of Store-Molla, lies Lofoten North Light and Fishing Brettesnes, with Raftsundet, Trollfjorden, Svolvær and other sights and experiences close by. Here is one new very nice house for rent. Whether you like to go fishing, go hiking in the mountains, dive or simply take it easy and enjoy Lofoten - we welcome you to a wonderful holiday.

  • We stayed at Magne's place for five nights during June. The house is located in an absolutely beautiful location that was also easy to find and practical for our trekking needs. The house is big and suitable for even a large group though you might want to bring your own utensils if there are many of you. We can easily recommend Magne's place for everyone and would happily stay there again when we come back to Lofoten.

  • Erling's home is located in a beautiful area, surrounded by water and mountains. Very quiet, peaceful location. The house is a charming old home with quite a bit of history, and there's a beautiful stream that runs through the property, as well as berries to pick. • Einy's place is really very special. We stayed for 4 nights. Myrland is a stunningly beautiful and unspoiled area - just a few, Norwegian style houses and fishermans' huts along the shoreline. Einy gave us a great welcome, and we immediately felt at home in the traditional and comfortable apartment. The views from the windows are just stunning and we were lucky to have the midnight sun straight ahead of us - and even luckier to see 4 elk wandering along one evening (very unusual apparently). The bird life was right in front of us on two islets not far from shore, and we were delighted watching the flying antics of arctic terns and Einy's tame oyster catcher!! The bed is snug, so if you can't sleep in anything but a king size bed, this will not be the place for you. We loved it - and can't think there is anywhere better to stay in the Lofotens! Einy is quite a character, an excellent host and a great cook. We had a delicious meal in one evening, served to us by Einy (paid for as extra). We highly recommend it and hope to return one day!

  • Kirsti‘s cabin was a beautiful stay as a part of our Christmas holiday! We were greeted by Kirstis husband with some lovely Norwegian warm wine. We celebrated our Christmas dinner in the stunning dining room with a decorated Christmas tree. It was an extremely warm and comforting welcome! The beach out back was beautiful, it makes us want to come back again and enjoy it in the summer!

  • The landlord was very nice. Although there was a problem with the house facilities, the landlord did his best to solve the problem. Staying experience is very good and love this homestay.

  • We had an amazing stay at Kirsti. The cabin is very beautiful, perfectly equipped and especially located in a unique setting. It gives access to a small beach just in front of the house. The views and lights are incredible. The location is ideal for visiting Lofoten because the hut is a little away from the most popular villages while allowing easy access. I absolutely recommend.

    Céline2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Kirsti's cabin is absolutely amazing! The location is quiet and secluded on its own beach, the decor both stylish and relaxed and the cabin has all the comforts you could wish for. Kirsti is an excellent host who does that little bit extra like putting on coffee and warm buns when we arrived. She is nice and shared tips on trips around the cabin. I can really recommend Kirsti and her wonderful cabin.

    Maria2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Kirsti's place is just so lovely and SO much better than the pictures - which is rare on Airbnb! It a great family cabin that is in a remote, secluded, quiet location. We picked up groceries in Leknes on the way and then just relaxed for several glorious days. I would stay there again for sure.

    Erica2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Kirsti’s place. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and it was great to receive helpful tips about the house and surroundings. It is a beautiful place in a beautiful area, with plenty of hiking opportunities nearby and easy access to groceries by car or ferry. We had everything we needed and more, the place was spotlessly clean and communication was friendly and easy. Thanks so much Kirsti for your hospitality and the wonderful stay!

    Toni2019-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely beautiful an unique place. We really enjoyed our stay there. Kirsti and her family are very friendly and helpful hosts.

  • We had an excellent stay in this house, the location is quiet and private and touristy, but a short drive (30 minutes from Svolvær for example) more crowded places. Beautiful entry to make us discover the treasures of the Lofoten Islands. We were warmly greeted with cinnamon rolls. The house has some outdoor plastic games, the kids had a lot of fun playing on the beach and in the garden. We spent hours admiring the landscape. Thank you for these good times.

Rulten Lodge is a cozy house with a unique setting by the fjord with panorama view of the mountains! With its private boat dock, ideally situated in the middle of the ski touring eldorado in East Lofoten, Rulten Lodge is the perfect spot for an active vacation, be it summer or winter.
Rulten Lodge is one house with two units with separate entrances. The host couple, Emma & Signar, lives in one unit together with Heidi and Theo, two young Border Collie dogs. The guest apartment consists of two floors with kitchen, living room, bath room and two bedrooms on the first floor. On the second floor there are two smaller bedrooms and a smaller living room. The ceiling on the second floor is slanted and not full standing height. The view from the terrace is spectacular, and the open surroundings will let you enjoy the sun from early morning till late evening in the summer. There is a private dock that guests have access to, from where you can fish or take a dip in the fjord (cold!). Guests have their own insulated storage room with a drying cupboard, for drying ski boots, clothes, and for storing skis, bikes or other equipment, everything to make your holiday as comfortable as possible. There is a sea side sauna that guests can enjoy for an additional fee of 100 nok per person.
Sildpollneset is situated on a peninsula that sticks out in to the Austnesfjord. From there one has an amazing view over all of the highest peaks in Lofoten. It is located a little away from the main road E10, so it is peaceful and quiet and one does not notice all the traffic that runs through Lofoten. Just a five minute drive away you get access to the best ski touring possibilities Lofoten has to offer. Popular climbing crags are just about 20 minutes away. Fishing is possible right from the dock of the house, and it is possible to rent a boat right around the corner at the Sildpollnes sjøcamp. There are endless of hiking opportunities very close by, and Svolvær is just a 15-20 minute drive away with all the activities and restaurants it has to offer. Just 30-40 min away are many of the big sandy beaches that Lofoten is famous for.
  • We had a very pleasant stay in this house with an extraordinary view! We even got to see the Northern Lights! Everything was perfect

    Claude2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and with all comforts. It overlooks the fjord, with large windows and the terrace on the private pier. The panorama is unique and the aurora can be seen sitting directly on the sofa. It is close to Svolvær, in 20 minutes you are at the supermarket and in the center. Emma and Signar live alongside, but they are perfect, discreet and kind hosts, very helpful. They have two sweet and highly educated border collies that we have never heard barking. Highly recommended!

    Lucia2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Our 3rd time in Rulten Lodge was great as usual. Emma & Signar are one of the best hosts I know ... we will come back as soon as possible :))).

    Florian2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We were charmed by the place. our host welcomed us perfectly and advised us throughout the stay. We exchanged in English. You can go there with your eyes closed, the photos are consistent. Emma and Signar live on site with their dog. The accommodation is located on a slope, you will have to cross a small campsite to find the accommodation (take good care of the photos in the advertisement). for me, it is a recommended place for both the view and the quality of the premises. One thing is certain if we return one day in the Lofotens, we will make a sure halt a new halt in order to be able to observe the dawn from the terrace.

    Nicolas2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • the hosts are very friendly and welcoming The house is great and well appointed with a beautiful view of the trollfjord If you come in winter plan a 4x4

    Vianney2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • The location of the lodge is simply said... stunning. It was so great to watch the view from the living room and the patio. Also, we were able to spot amazing northern lights on 3 of 5 nights right from the patio and the boat deck. As for the lodge itself... We had everything we needed, more than that... kitchen is very well equipped, the bedrooms and the living room feel just warm and cozy and the sauna was a great possibility to relax right at the beach during a snowy, stormy winter day. The hosts were very helpful and so nice... Thanks again for your help and hospitality. Your really own a magic and very special spot at one of the most beautiful places we ve ever been to.

    Sarah2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at Rulten Lodge with great view, peaceful environment, wonderful hosts with a huge knowledge about the region and the sauna to chill after hiking, kayaking or other outdoor activities. Rulten Lodge is a great place to stay no matter if you're very outdoor active (like us) or just looking for a cosy place to hang out, cook and read.

    Andrea2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect accommodation with a superb view of the Norwegian fjords. Do not hesitate to take a walk in the sauna after a day of hiking and then take a snow bath. I recommend this accommodation.

  • This is an amazing house, and this have been our second time here! Wenche is so kind that she left in the house lots of toys for our little daughter. We will come back for sure! Thank you so much for making our stay beautiful!

    Vanessa2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • We loved every minute in the cabin. We had hired a car so we were able to drive to the shops and other sights easily. Our highlight was driving to the west coast and seeing the Northern Lights! (planning for this was part of the fun) We were able to meet Wenche in Oslo before our trip. She gave us great tips for where to buy groceries and where some nice walks were. Lofoten in Winter was truly a dream come true for us and we would definitely go back. Thankyou Björn and Wenche

    Karin2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, amazing view from the large window & balcony, and host with great hospitality. I would love to stay again if I have another chance to be in Lofoten.

    Satoshi2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • The house is very well equipped and cozy. The equipment is fully in accordance with the description. We felt immediately comfortable. Everything is there for cooking (even a whole drawer full of spices). The dining table with the chairs is great. A thick plus for the view from the living room and terrace. For frostbite enough blankets and cuddly pillows are ready. All the information in the house depends on what you need to know. We also used the infrared sauna - very nice, if you are frozen through. Greetings from us fours! :-)

    Diana2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • My family stayed at Wenche & Bjorn's house in Laupstad. We had a fantastic stay as the house was a great base to explore the entire Lofoten area. The house is super new and cozy, with all amenities needed, fully equipped kitchen and a lovely living room. I would recommend this house to everyone, and hope to be back soon. I heard that the mountains for ski touring are also nearby, just behind the house.

    Guan2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • The house of Wenche and Bjørn was just perfect! Located in Laupstad with wonderful direct view on the fjord and the mountains and just 20 minutes away from Svolvær, where you can buy everything you need. The house is perfectly equiped with everything and there was nothing I would have missed. The communication with Wenche and Bjørn has been perfect. Although they were not there, they perfectly took care via mail, so that I always had the feeling being perfectly supported. All in all: Fantastic hosts, fantastic house, fantastic Lofoten. If possible, i will come back.

    Stephan2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house with a splendid view of the fjord .. Very clean, spacious and full of suggestions on how to use it. Set in the truly breathtaking landscape of Lofoten. Excellent starting point for visiting the western part of the islands. We did not meet the host but he was always present and very friendly, via SMS. For those of us who are used to bear the noises of Italy, this is the paradise of silence

    Elena2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • A really well equipped house in a fantastic location. There was nothing missing and we enjoyed our 14 day stay very much. Super friendly contact with the hosts. Many thanks to Wenche & Bjørn

Pilan Lodge Lofoten is located in the heart of Austnesfjorden. The house is only a 16 km drive from Svolvær Airport (Helle), and approximately 20 km away from Svolvær city center. Austnesfjorden is surrounded by majestic mountains that are very popular all year round for skiing and hiking. This is the perfect location for those who want to enjoy the beautiful nature and everything Lofoten has to offer.
If you wish to see the midnight sun during summer, you can do so by driving only 10 minutes with a car. The northern lights (aurora borealis) is also located right outside the house during the winter. During the summer season (march-september) it is possible to rent our boat. We are also collaborating with different local businesses and guides who offer outdoor adventures throughout the seasons. If you want to relax and not think about cooking during your stay, we can have a private chef cook for you and serve your meals (additional cost).
Laupstad is a small and safe village. The house is surrounded by majestic mountains, beautiful nature and is right next to the sea.
  • Pilan Lodge was amazing! We stayed there with a group of friends, it was super comfy, well equipped and the location was spectacular. Stig & Anne-Grete were very welcoming, helpful and warm hearted hosts!

  • Anne-Grete and Stig are phenomenal hosts and their house is gorgeous. The kitchen is well supplied with cooking utensils, pots, pans, anything a chef could desire. The common space is bright and spacious, it worked well for a large group.

Newly renovated Lofoten House with 3 bedrooms (10 beds), a lot of charm and a perfect location between the fjords and the mountains. There is one bathroom with a toilet and shower and one seperat toilet in the hall. We have a brand new kitchen and livingroom with a cosy fireplace on the ground floor together with the bathroom and the separated toilet. On the 1st floor you will find 3 bedrooms with up to 10 beds.
Welcome to Ski Lodge Lofoten – located right in the middle of everything Lofoten has to offer! We are 6 good friends who loves the outdoors and we have had many trips to Lofoten before we finally bought the house in July in 2017. Unfortunately, we do not have the opportunity to use the house as much as we wish for ourselves, so we want to rent it out to others who want to experience what Lofoten has to offer right outside our doorstep. Our house is located on the beautiful peninsula Sildpollneset in Austnesfjorden. The house is located only 13 minutes drive from Svolvaer City and 10 minutes from Svolvaer airport. The mountains around Austnesfjorden have been voted (several times) to Lofoten's ultimate area for people who loves hiking, Randonée/offpist skiing and mountain climbing. The Norwegian Newspaper Aftenposten wrote the following on 21st of September, 2018: "THE BEST OF LOFOTEN! It is in the mountain massif between Austnesfjorden and Raftsundet, that the wildest peaks in Lofoten are rising. Higravstinden (1146 mt.alt.), Lofoten's highest. Geitgaljen (1085 mt.alt.), The best mountain for offpist skiing. Trakta (980 mt.alt.), The hardest mountain to climb ». In both summer and winter time you can walk directly from the house and up on some of the best peaks nearby. If you take the car and drive for 5-10 minutes, you can attack famous summits like Pilan, Torskemannen, Kistberget and last but not least Higravstind and Geitgaljen. You can also use our partners, which, among other things, offer boat trips by guide into otherwise inaccessible mountains where you as a guest of our house can be picked up right outside the door for departure for your next adventure, whether with or without skis on your legs or maybe you want to participate in the World Champion Ship of Codd fishing very March which take place in Austensfjorden as well. The possibilities are unlimited – so if you are looking for the definition of Lofoten, this is the place to start! We would love for you to come visit and explore the magic just outside our doorstep. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding planning your trip and stay in Lofoten :) Best regards, Paal-Fredrik
This peninsula is mostly famous for the old church, the Sildpollneset Chapel, which is the most photographed object in Lofoten and its picture is one out of three pictures from Norway hanging in the UN building in New York.
  • Perfect place for ski touring

    Sylvain2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice and quiet place, independent home with all needed services. Easy to reach, near to the main Lofoten road. Thanks for all. We'll come back for sure in the future for skiing in Lofoten islands.

  • This winter I spent some days there with my wife and two daughters and we loved it. Located in the eastern part of Lofoten near Svolvaer, the house provided us a very good opportunity for exploring the Lofoten islands by car. Within a one hour drive it was possible to reach locations in the central and eastern part of Lofoten easily. The house is located on a small peninsular surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The house itself was very clean and well equipped with everything you will need in you holidays. Especially the living room with its fireplace was so cosy. I spent so much time just sitting on the couch, reading a book and enjoying the silence and landscapes while looking out the huge windows. Our host was perfect too. The communication in advance of as well as during our stay worked fine. I got answers to my questions usually within one or two hours. He also supported us with his local knowledge during our stay which helped us to spent perfect days in Lofoten. I would highly recommend this accommodation. We will definitely come back.

    Bernhard2019-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for six nights. The house is very cozy! It looks like on the pictures. The house is nicely done up and it is well equipped - there is everything you need! We would highly recommend this house! We loved to spend our evenings in front of the fireplace. Thank you very much! Very nice place to stay!

    Sina2018-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • This accommodation is absolutely fantastic! We stayed for 4 nights with 4 people and really enjoyed our time on the Lofoten Islands, it´s such a magical place. We even saw the Northern Lights during one of the nights on the north side of the cabin. The house is very clean and cozy and has everything that you need. The communication with Lasse was very uncomplicated and fast. I highly recommend this place if you´re looking for a great AirBnB.

  • A beautiful home in a beautiful place. Great Basecamp for day trips all around the islands ☺️ Absolutely no problems and would recommend to all. If you’re lucky you’ll get to see the northern lights too!

We offer you a stay in our cozy, caravan. We are situated 5 min outside Svolvær, on a sheep farm.
The caravan is situated on a farm. We got sheeps and chickens, dogs, cats and horses. The caravan fits two grownups and three kids, or four grownups. It contains one double bed, (permanent bed), three beds for kids, and one  foldout bed 180 x 200 cm in the dining area (wich means that you have to physicaly fold it out by your self if you need it. The table is a part of the bed. (Instructions will be given to you when you arrive). It has a toilet with a sink. Shower you can take in the main house. There`s a kitchen that contains a sink with cold and hot water and three hotplates and what you need of cutteries, cups, plates, potts and pans.
  • We absolutely loved staying in the camper! There was a surprising amount of storage and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and it is a 5 minute drive from Svolvaer. It is right next to the Svolvaer airport but we did not hear/see a plane our entire stay. The views from the airbnb are very beautiful and it was unique to be so close to a farm. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

    Kelsi2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Jorgen’s caravan is very spacious (we were 2) and has everything you need to cook and relax. The location is perfect to explore the Svolvær area and the airport isn’t noisy at all, because the flights aren’t many. The main bathroom is in Jorgen’s house right near the entrance, but for us wasn’t a problem. Great value considering the prices for an accomodation in Svolvær. Would definitely recommend!

    Brian2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • The service offered is in line with the expected cost. The caravan is next to the house, where the bathroom is located, which is shared with other guests. The adjacent airport does not create any discomfort, given the poor air traffic!

    Roberto2019-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a good time staying in the caravan! It was very clean and had everything that we needed. It was also bigger than we thought it would be and it was nice to live so close to the animals. Although it was very close to the airport we weren’t bothered by the very few airplanes (it’s not a busy airport at all) coming and going.

    Goulperin2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Jørgen and his family were very nice and friendly hosts. The camper stands besides a nice and funny farm, was very clean, well equipped and offered more space as we expected. The small airport next to the farm didn't disturb us anyway. Good starting point to explore the beautiful Lofoten islands. We would book the camper again.

    Thomas2019-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • This place was so lovely! Jorgen’s farm is beautiful and it was so easy to find and check in. The caravan was the perfect size for 2 of us and was very clean. There is a toilet in the caravan, but it was very convenient to use the shared toilet and shower in the house as well. Sometimes we could hear the sheep/chicken in the middle of the night but it shouldn’t be a huge deal unless you are a very light sleeper. Overall a great experience that I highly recommend!

    Angela2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • The caravan was clean and spacious. There is a fridge and a freezer and basic cooking is possible too. The bed and bed linen were very comfy. We enjoyed the quiet location with great views. Perfect for exploring Lofoten. Communicating with Jørgen was very easy; he was very helpful and replied quickly. We had a great time!

    Henrik2019-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Very good location, warmth and good communication. Living these few days in Jørgen's caravan was a great experience.

  • If you are looking for something different and original this is the place for you ! We thouroughly enjoyed our overnight stay with Stephanie and Frederik. They were both very welcoming and informative especially about the local marine life. The lavvu were super comfortable and the scenery stunning. Our only regret ...not being able to stay longer and go on one of their whale safaris (http://www.wildseas.no/) Expérience inoubliable !

  • Comfortable, beautiful house in an amazing location. All of our questions were quickly answered and solved. We would happily come back and enjoy the view, the perfect family outings literally in the back yard, and the comfy pillows returning back home after a rewarding hike.

  • The Hytte is not only wonderfully located, slightly elevated above the fjord with a great view of the mountain scenery, it is also very tastefully decorated and an ideal starting point for excursions by water or on land. We can highly recommend the Hytte and Annis hospitality and hope someday to spend holidays in this unique place again.

  • A nice house in a great location. Quiet and very modern. Really on the sunny side of life. A home that has made the great holiday around. Always a contact person who cares immediately. Super nice and the welcome drink. Thanks also for that

  • Our stay at Anni's hytte was absolutely perfect. The place looks exactly like on the pictures, the view is spectacular and everything is completely new. The great hospitality of the place and the whole atmosphere was incomparable to what I usually experience in my other stays through AirBnB, and there has been quite a lot of them. What is more Anni was always helpful and responding fast. Sigrund who lives nearby and helps her with running the place gave us nice tips. I for sure want to come back.
