  • Lovely home, clean and tidy. Location was secluded with the view of banana plantation. Beds were comfortable. Sandra was a great host, giving us directions on how to find the house. Also local tips. We loved the coffee at Minnie Waters and delicious fish and chips.

  • Gorgeous house with everything you could need, in the most private and secluded spot, with stunning views and pristine beaches just down the road. Was exactly what we needed and felt like a true getaway from everything. It's impossible to feel anything but relaxed here. Sandra is a lovely and welcoming host. We loved it.

    Urszula2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic place for an escape. The property is absolutely beautiful, looking out across the banana plantation to paddocks and rolling hills. The house is modern with all the amenities you need - clean bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen. It’s only a short 15 min drive to the beaches of Minnie Water but feels very removed with absolute peace and quiet. Great place to get away and relax. Will be back!

    Sam2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • A very quiet place with great views with a 5 minute drive to Minie Water or Wooli for some great beach action.

    Ricky2020-01-12T00:00:00Z

    Karl Mattias2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • Sandra's place was really lovely. We spent 2 nights and can highly recommend both the accommodation with all of Sandra's great touches as well as the beauty of the surrounding area. Some really beautiful beaches within a short drive and it was a really lovely end to our Christmas break. We can highly recommend Sandra's place.

    Bronwyn2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • This place is perfect for anyone wanting some peace and tranquillity. Beautiful location with beaches a short drive away. Sandra was absolutely lovely, great to chat to and full of great tips of things to do and see in the surrounding area.

    Madeleine2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is a spot of paradise which we have returned to again. Only disappointment was that the trip wasn’t longer.

    Katherine2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Even though the weather was wet and windy on one of the days, it failed to put a dampener on our stay. We enjoyed relaxing in front of Netflix with a glass of wine, and great company. Comfy lounge, beds, sensational ocean views. Thank you!

    Christina2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem!! Very well appointed cottage in a fantastic location. 30 seconds from the door to having your toes in the surf. Beautiful views from the comfort of the living area. Booking process was hassle free and communications quick. Already planning the next stay. Very happy I chose this one!!

    Jeff2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • The beauty of this gorgeous place is it’s simplicity & location. The panoramic views of the pounding ocean from the glass doors of the living room are spectacular. The constant sea breeze & salty air a huge relief from Qld humidity. I loved the ever changing light & the 2 Norfolk Pines in front of the property, above the beach, became a focal point for my photography. Casa Bonita is a special place that will leave you feeling refreshed & invigorated. Well equipped & with beautiful, simple, airy decor, I highly recommend this little gem of a place.

    Fenella2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice place on the beach. Very easy to while away a few hours in the main room. You just step out on to the sand. Very few people on the beach in February. Get over to Minnie Water for a nice coffee and get your food in Grafton as the pickings are slim in town!

    Paul2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Salty’s place was wonderful! Communication great, easy access instructions The house came with all ammenities, fully stocked kitchen, could not have asked for more Right on the beach, even though we had terrible weather the house was great to relax and listen to the surf and rain Walking distance to the Bowling Club A wonderful place if you want to just chill Would come back again

  • A fantastic and stylish place right on the beach! The house was extremely comfortable and well considered. A great place to take it easy and unwind in a small laid back town.

    Andrew2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing quiet location- close to beach and river. Beautiful beach shack style.

    Stacey2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Lyndy’s beach cottage was exactly that, it is a beautiful cottage with plenty of space. It is a short walk to the beach, which is approx 20 meters away. There were games available for the family, plenty of cooking utensils/condiments which made the stay easy and enjoyable. Wooli is an amazing, quiet and relaxing place, worth a visit!

    James2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our week at the Gull cottage. Especially the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook & eat well, and enjoy the family holiday. There are a lot of nice touches to this cottage, as Lyndy put a lot of effort in and it makes it easy to feel at home. We definitely recommend this space to our friends, and we‘d love to come again!!

    Christian2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Gull Cottage blew us away, stylishly furnished with everything you could need and the beach at your back door. We fell in love with Wooli, super friendly locals, fresh seafood from the seafood co-op, good pizzas from Wooli Hotel but a fully equipped kitchen if your cooking at home. We fished and swam in the pristine river and played barefoot bowls and bingo at the bowling club, all within short walking distance from Gull Cottage. An Idyllic holiday for my family and I and we can’t wait to return. Lyndy was an excellent host who was quick to reply to any queries.

    Alex2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • We've stayed in 2 of Lyndys properties now and have loved both. Wooli is the perfect place to switch off. We will be making this an annual spot for us.

    Zac2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • We have stayed in Wooli and Minnie Waters plenty of times, Gull cottage by far getting the highest rating from us. We will definitely return. Sunrises on lounge chairs on top of a perfect dune = perfection.

  • A beautiful place with lovely touches. Had a lovely stay and will be back at some point!

  • The best find on the North Coast! Seriously cute, clean, cosy, and comfortable: the perfect relaxed beach side shack. We had a wonderful 3 days, and can't wait to go back again (it was our 2nd visit). Diggers is Paradise- don't tell too many people :)

    Gabrielle2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most pleasurable stay in this cosy yet generous cottage. My 3 adult daughters and I spent 5 precious days together. Deborah was a very helpful host during the planning stages. There are good amenities despite being off grid. The decor very much appealed to us. There was an abundant supply of DVD’s, puzzles and games! We also loved walking through the trails in nearby Yuraygir Nat Park. Thank you we’d love to stay another time

    Marcia2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • A great little getaway thank you Deb!

    Luke2019-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • A hidden gem. Quirky, clean, quiet, cosy: the perfect beach shack with style. We 3 were very comfortable, despite the heatwave, and can't wait to come back for sure. Super comfy beds, and a very well-appointed kitchen with all utensils etc. Fabulous :)

    Gabrielle2019-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing shack in one of our new favorite parts of the northern NSW coast. Everything you could need for an escape back to a quieter time. Great beaches, walks, wildlife and swimming options at every turn. Loved heading out to Wilson's Head to escape the wind. It felt like those holidays at Nanna and Pops beach house but with the modern necessities (but no phone reception which is a huge bonus!!!) We will be back 😊

    Jesse2019-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • We are a family of four (two kids in primary school) and absolutely loved our week here. The location is magical with pristine beaches, coastal walks and wildlife everywhere. Our days were long and relaxed - spent between Deb’s cosy cottage and the beach - we didn’t want to leave this unique place.

Kitchen is well set up and with verandahs on both sides of the house gives options for sitting outside depending on weather. Great river views and breezes through the house and beach access on the other side.

  • Hi - we were 3 friends (2 from the Sunshine Coast and one from Sydney) that we thought will meet kind of half way - what an amazing place, beautifully bought back to life by Bill, very well equipped with the wonderful hotel touches by Robbie. There is even a choice between the front and back decks, and the laundry even had a dryer. A booklet with the history of the place (a must read) with instructions and things to see and do. Very easy communications with Robbie. A great stay in a place that is well loved - thank you.

Point View Beach House is in the Yuraygir National Park at Diggers Camp. Experience ocean views and ecologically sustainable luxury supported by low carbon systems such as solar electricity and hot water, rain harvested water and environmentally friendly waste systems.
Point View is located mere metres from one of the most pristine and idyllic beaches on the east coast of Australia. The house employs a range of high tech systems to enable a high degree of comfort whilst enjoying an "off-grid" national park setting. You'll be living in a self sufficient low carbon footprint dwelling that generates and stores its own electricity, water, hot water and advanced compost toilet system. Point View consists of two connected pavilions. The renovated front structure comprises a kitchen, dining nook and lounge, all with ocean views. These spaces lead to the front deck, a sheltered chill out area with three daybeds to enjoy the ocean and headland views. Completing the front pavilion is a cozy bedroom with queen bed also with great ocean views. Please note the pavilion design of the house may make it unsuitable to families with young children. The fully equipped kitchen boasts stone bench tops, double sink, gas oven and exhaust range hood, microwave, toaster, large electric fridge plus a double filtered water system. The lounge features a flat screen TV, DVD and sound box for connecting music players. A space heater is available if needed. The rear pavilion has an expansive deck, a daybed, hammock, Weber gas BBQ and outdoor dining setting with ocean glimpses. Off the deck are two large bedrooms each with a queen and single bed. The deck also leads to the bathroom and separate toilet room. In addition to environmentally friendly systems, the house was built to be bush fire resistant with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certified Queensland Spotted Gum and Blackbutt hardwoods. For your comfort, all windows and doors are fly screened. Two of the three bedrooms are also equipped with ceiling fans for warmer nights. Safety features of the house include a mains power integrated fire alarm system. While the front deck offers whale watching in season, the rear deck provides a great viewing platform to quietly observe visiting wildlife including kangaroos, emus, goannas and a rich diversity of bird life amongst the landscaped native gardens. The yard backs onto the surrounding national park. It features a fire pit, with firewood over the cooler months, outdoor chairs, a sun lounge recliner, a hammock chill out corner, an outdoor hot shower and board storage rack and cleaning station for preparing the day's catch.
Positioned on the NSW north coast between Yamba and Coffs Harbour, Yuraygir National Park boasts the state’s longest stretch of undeveloped coastline. Diggers Camp is centrally located within this 65kms of striking cliffs, rocky headlands, isolated beaches and quiet lakes set against a backdrop of forests, heaths and wetlands. Being one of the few coastal regions which escaped sand mining, you'll really get a feel how the entire NSW coast once looked. You'll also discover wildlife, swim, fish or surf to your heart’s content in this aquatic playground. Go whale watching or use Point View as the start or finish of the multi-day Yuraygir coastal walk.

  • Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seascape in Minnie Water. We rented both the upstairs and downstairs for our extended family of ten people (five adults, five children). The view was incredible - we loved the sunrises and whale & dolphin watching. We set up a badminton net on the front lawn and enjoyed barbecues and relaxing on the front porch. The beach is a ten minute walk away and was beautiful - we swam and surfed every day despite it being “winter.” Seascape is not luxury accommodation but is priced appropriately and perfect for a family getaway. My teenagers even survived having no wifi for a week! Thanks Mel for your hospitality.

  • This Unit is in a unique location. Pristine river with oyster farm out front, and ocean behind. Riverside Drive runs between the Unit and River, and a different road separates the Unit from the sand dunes and Ocean. Sitting out the front, there is an ice view of the river and mangroves. Queen bed was very clean and comfortable. Take your own beach towels with you. We were given a towel each for use in the bathroom. Recliners in living room are extremely comfortable. You can hear the guests in the adjacent Units. TV and radios all work well. There were sufficient lamps, power points and the kitchen pots and pans were spotless. Well done, Richard!

  • The Blue River Shack is a perfect simple beach getaway for a little family. You have to bring your own linen and towels but that suited us perfectly. It has a great little kitchen with fantastic pots and pans, no basics so make sure you bring your own oil, salt and pepper ect. The outdoor deck which looks over the river is lovely and it has a great bbq and sink outside as well. It is also is just a minutes walk to the beach.

Finns beach house is right on the beachfront in Wooli. You have direct access to the beach from your back yard. We have a table on the oceanfront for our guests to use while you soak up the beautiful views of Wooli's Main Beach. PLEASE NOTE We provide linen and bath towels in the nightly rate and free wifi. We also have Foxtel inc sport channel. We are pet friendly. With the beach on one side and Wooli river on the other side you can enjoy the best that Wooli has to offer. RELAX and ENJOY Finns.
Finns beach house is a four bedroom home situated on the beachfront of Wooli. Our yard is fully fenced so we welcome you to bring your pet on holiday with you (yes we love your pet as much as you do so bring them along). Your nightly rate includes linen and bath towels. Finns has free wifi for our guests to use and we also have Foxtel installed with sports channel as an extra feature for those lovers of sport that don't want to miss any of the action. If you are out enjoying all that Wooli has to offer feel free to record your program and watch it when you're back at Finns relaxing. We have prerecorded heaps of movies for children and adults so feel free to scroll through. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dinnerware and cutlery and enough pots and pans to cook up a storm if you want to. There is a nespresso machine for coffee lovers (if you bring pods make sure they are nespresso compatible) and we will leave a selection of pods and tea bags to start you off with. We supply quality linen for all beds (Morgan and Finch quilt covers and sheet sets) with comfy pillows which are replaced frequently. The bedrooms consist of 2 queen rooms 1 double and 1 single room. Outside is a large fully fenced yard which is big enough to play in or the dog to roam and a large deck with a huge table and chairs to sit around and enjoy a BBQ. We have a BBQ and gas is supplied so make sure you bring a steak to cook or better yet catch some fish to pop on the BBQ. We are a family of 7 and we all fit in with ease there is plenty of space inside and outside at Finns, you certainly won't be tripping over each other. My favourite part of Finns Beach House is the secluded knoll at the top of our property with a large table and chairs to sit at and take in the view of the ocean and listen to waves crash onto the shore. It is perfect for that morning coffee or afternoon drink. I love watching the sunset from here, with the Solitary Islands in the distance turning orange as the sun drops, it is a spectacular sight. For the avid fisherman the beach out the front of Finns has some great gutters so beach fishing is a must and the great thing is it's right on your door step, or if river fishing is your thing you just have to walk 100m across the road and drop a line in. With the beach behind Finns and the River in front you have the best of both worlds. We would love to share our paradise with you, come relax and enjoy.
What I love to do in Wooli. I love fishing but thats not everyones cup of tea so if you don't like to fish this is what I recommend. Hire a BBQ pontoon and take a dander up the river its easy to get around and the kids love it, the water is still so children can swim easily. There is a huge sand dune on the other side of the river that the children love sliding down, it's best if you take a boogy board with you then you can get some speed up. The bowls club usually has extra things on during school holidays i.e. barefoot bowls and junior bingo just check their sign out the front and it will let you know what's on. Every Friday night they have the meat and seafood raffles at the bowls club and they have plenty of seafood and meat trays to win. The draw starts from 630pm. We always take a drive to Minnie Waters for a day out there is a shop there were you can get burgers and other hot food, or take a picnic with you there are heaps of nice spots to set up a day camp and enjoy the beach. My favourite drive is to a place called Diggers camp there are no shops so pack an esky for your trip, the beach is very quiet and the surfing is quite good. If you are lucky you might see Emus on your way, we have seen Emus there. There is another pub up the road from Finns which has a courtesy bus, they serve breakfast lunch and dinner. I prefer the Bowls club as it is a two minute walk from Finns but it doesn't serve food all day but at night Harry's Chinese restaurant is open and its great. I would recommend Friday night raffles and then Harrys for dinner most of Wooli will be there. Thursday night bingo at the Bowls club is always a bit of fun for the children to play as well. If you love fishing a must do is the deep sea fishing charter, just walk down past the Bowls club and caravan park and you'll find him on the riverside, they sell bait and tackle as well. For the seafood lovers the local Co-op sells beautiful local oysters and prawns and have hot seafood, great for a quick lunch and it's only 100m away from Finns and they stock a few of the essentials. If you run low on supplies you can stock up at the local store next to the main pub.
  • Finns is a great place to stop off on your way from Sydney to Queensland or on the way back, but it would be even better to stay for a week. It is very close to the fish co op where we got delicious fresh snapper just off the boat. Martine was very helpful and answered our questions promptly. She had helpful suggestions for things to do and we had a great trip to Minnie Water for coffee.

    Judy2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • The location is incredible - beach out the back door. Our dog and toddler both loved the quick and easy beach access. The bowling club is a few minutes walk away, we had a great afternoon there playing bowls and stayed for a tasty Chinese meal. The house is exactly as described. The only thing we struggled with was the heat - the ceiling fans in the common areas worked really well, but the fans in the bedrooms only rotated slowly so they didn’t provide much relief. We loved the nespresso coffee machine, and the lovely selection of teas provided. The back deck with a huge umbrella was perfect for relaxing and for our family meals. Great for families with the beach, playground, skate park and river all right on your doorstep. I highly recommend Finns and we would love to come back for another stay.

    Fiona2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place, literally backs onto the beach! Awesome alfresco areas, including a bench to watch the sun come up with a coffee! The place has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Martine’s super responsive to all your needs too! I’d highly recommend checking it out, you won’t regret it!

    Adam2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Finns beach house. Finns was sparkling clean with great amenities and thoughtful touches. Finns is pet friendly too! The yard is secure and your dog is even allowed inside. This was invaluable to us as our dog is an inside dog and needs to be close to us so Finns was perfect for him! Finns is in a great location with the beach literally at your back door. Hosts are super responsive and helpful- highly recommended!

  • Martines house is right on the beach, super cute and very simple. This is exactly what you want in Wooli. We have been going to Wooli for 20 years and still love how simple it is, and easy it is to stop and unwind. We live on the beach, yet we go to Wooli for a bit more peace and quiet! The surrounds are gorgeous, and we really appreciated being able to take our dog to stay, and felt we had plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked, and we really loved the bbq and umbrella outside. Thanks Martine!

    Tanya2020-01-25T00:00:00Z

Wooli is a small village situated on the Wooli Wooli River and surrounded by Yuraygir National Park and the Solitary Islands Marine Park. There is great fishing in the river and along the beach; river or beach swimming; surfing about 10 mins drive away; bushwalking; and birdwatching. This is the perfect spot for outdoor activities. If the weather is bad, we have board games and books to enjoy and if you need respite from the water or the bush we provide a number of fun, family games such as croquet, badminton and bocce for everyone to enjoy. Wooli River Lodges is next door to a great bistro at the Wooli Hotel-Motel and only a couple of kms away from a good Chinese restaurant at the local bowling club, the oyster supply shop (Wooli is famous for its oysters) and the wonderful Little Fish Cafe, which serves a great coffee and all sorts of delights between 7am and 2pm most days. While the local general store is not large, it has a great range of food so even if you have forgotten to bring something, it is likely to stock it. They also serve hamburgers and fish and chips.

Absolute Wooli Beach House is a restored original fisherman's cottage which gives the true beach holiday you remember from childhood. Right on the dunes, it is fully equipped with everything you'll need. Step out the door to your own seat where the view stretches nearly 7km from the river mouth in the south to Wilsons Point in the north, and if you see people on the beach – that’s a crowded day!
This treasured family beach house is now opened by the owners who want to share this very special spot with you and your family. The main part of the Absolute Wooli beach house is all on one level, accessed from either a short set of stairs or via one step to the wrap-round verandah and front door. Under the house is another shower, the washing machine and dryer, and a cubby equipped with toddler toys, boogie boards, surfboards and canoes. Ideal for children and people needing one step access into the house. When you are in Wooli, you are immersed in nature so inspiring that many artists are drawn to Wooli. The area has released the creative urges in so many people to such an extent, that there now an annual Wild About Wooli ArtShow each Easter. Absolute Wooli also provides an artist studio with easels and plenty of painting space (with special arrangement with owner).
Wooli is a unique spot, providing the best of ocean, beach, bush, and river experiences. The secluded village is a narrow spit of land surrounded on three sides by National Park, Yuragir with its 38,000 hectares of unique habitat and abundant wildlife and, to the east, 7 kilometres of magnificent beach and the Solitary Islands Marine Park. The Wooli Wooli River, running along one side of the village, is one of the most pristine waterways in NSW, and one of the few so clean that oysters can be consumed immediately upon harvesting. You can swim, surf and fish right in front, or take a short walk on the beach, or on the riverside walkway, down to the breakwall. The beach is excellent for swimming and fishing. The Surfing Beach, with changing room, showers and toilets, near the river mouth is patrolled during school holidays. The breakwall is a very popular fishing spot. The Wooli Wooli River is navigable for about 20 km by canoe or boat. Kangaroos, emus, black necked storks, pelicans, swans, brolgas, kingfishers, ospreys and parrots can be seen. There are many spots for swimming and it is also ideal for fishing, boating, canoeing, and snorkelling. There are public boat ramps and canoes and boats can be chartered locally for river cruising, deep sea fishing, and diving in the Marine Park surrounding the North Solitary Islands. There are cycle tracks throughout the village and in the centre of the village there are tennis courts, a children’s playground, and skateboard ramp. Specific information about the Yuragir National Park can be downloaded from the National Parks website. Wherever you go or whatever you do, don’t forget your camera!! If you don’t manage to catch your own, there are many food choices in Wooli. Oysters (in season) and other seafood can be purchased fresh from the Wooli Oyster Supply (which also has basics like bread and milk, and meat orders). Little Fish (one block up Main Street) has great coffee, breakfast and lunch, and the Mini Mart and Petrol Station next to the Wooli Hotel are well stocked for meat and groceries. This shop also has takeaway options. The renowned Harry Chinese Restaurant is in the Wooli Bowling Club. The Wooli Hotel has a Bistro and Bottle Shop. Both the Bowling Club and Hotel provide courtesy buses. Wooli is an 8 hour drive north of Sydney or 4 hours south of Brisbane (all getting shorter with the new expressways). Daily flights to Grafton Airport (20 minute drive to Wooli) or Coffs Harbour Airport (1 hour drive), where cars can be hired. Please drive carefully to protect yourselves and our valued wildlife … you will definitely spot kangaroos and may be lucky enough to see an endangered Coastal Emu dad with his brood!
  • Wow! Get ready to be transported back in time by this lovely holiday home. What more do you need? NOTHING. Absolute is clean and tidy, the beach out front is gorgeous and the surrounds make for a great balanced break of exploring and resting. Thanks. We will be back!

  • We totally enjoyed our two night stay at Absolute Wooli. The location is perfect right on beachfront with the waves crashing on a n isolated beach and the sound of the waves to sooth the sole. The house being one of the original Wooli beach houses is not luxurious but it is well equipped and very comfortable and for the price exceptionally good value. Wooli itself is a step back in time which is a good thing for a relaxing stay. Fishing is great, beach is lovely and the three is a pub and bowls club to grab a meal and have a beer. Highly recommend to other travellers.

We provide a kayak for guest to explore the Wooli Wooli River which is a 34 kilometer long river system that extends deep into the Yuraygir National Park providing a safe habitat for many species of fish and bird life. It is also a large hatchery for mud crabs which also attracts anglers keen on crabbing or fishing up the river. Wooli also has a great coffee shop, pub with bistro restaurant as well as a bowls club with fabulous Chinese restaurant offering several dinning options for those not self catering.
  • The only bad thing about this place is when your holiday is over & you unfortunately have to leave this little slice of paradise behind. Not much around for food other than the wooli hotel which has some good pizza & hospitality but cooking at this air bnb is fantastic with the well appointed kitchen with everything you could possibly need & more. Super comfy king bed with plenty of room for a portacot next to the bed. I found it was very child friendly with gates at the top of the stairs & bathroom layout/facilities. Great fishing & beach spot. We will return :) thank you Rod.

  • Recently stayed overnight on a business trip. Checked in late and forgot to contact the owner, Rod, but he replied by both Airbnb message and subsequent phone call within seconds. Beautiful set of apartments in Wooli. Our rooms were modern, comfortable and sparkling clean. Will absolutely take the family back there. Thanks!

    Travis2019-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic, beautifully renovated and styled apartment with great views. Excellent host.

  • Admiral’s Deck was the pick of the offerings to which we thoroughly enjoyed. The kayak & bikes were a great benefit and the location was perfect. The view from the balcony was beautiful and visible from practically every room. Although Wooli is a sleepy little town, the peacefulness made it all the more enjoyable.

    Mark2018-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment does not disappoint. Admiral's Deck is a well appointed modern apartment that is comfortable and well positioned. The view from the deck is just lovely especially as the sun sets. The kitchen has everything you would want and more; the main bedroom has a view to the river as well and a super comfy bed. While the view is a high point, so is the freedom to bring our beloved fur babies. Our dogs just loved the beach walks and the little yard to explore. We were lucky enough to meet host, Rod, who was friendly and most amenable. The town of Wooli is charmingly old-fashioned and worth many a leisurely walk. Don't be surprised if you strike up a conversation with the friendly locals! Highly recommended are the oysters from the Fish shop and takeaway from Harry's Chinese. We would love to return.

    Catherine2018-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great location in Wooli straight across the road from the river and maybe 100m to the beach. The unit has every amenity you could imagine and is a 2min walk to bowls club, cafe and seafood shop. We had a great time and would definitely go again and would recommend staying there for other people. A+

    Carl2018-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Admiral' Deck was the perfect place to stay for our get away. Beach on one side and river on the other. A great location for relaxing or heaps of other activities. Rod was a great host and we hope to be back one day soon.

  • What a gorgeous little property. This place has everything you need and is in a beautiful, tranquil location. There's no Telstra reception but with Optus I had no issues at all. Being woken by the birds in the morning is the best way to start the day. Breakfast on the verandah with a view of the ocean can't be beaten!

  • Great little house, very much an old beach shack/cottage feel. Private beach table at the end of the garden with amazing views. Short walk to the river for easy swimming and likewise a short trip to the local pub that had great food and live music. House has seen better days than when the photos got taken. Number or cracks in walls and ceilings, rather bad mold in bathroom. Didn't bother us or ruin our trip. Overall good stay!

Wooli River Lodges consist of 9 cabins and 1 house situated on a quiet arm of the Wooli Wooli River with access for tinnies, kayaks and canoes on site. Wooli itself is surrounded by Yuraygir National Park and the Solitary Islands Marine Park so there are many outdoor activities available such as fishing, kayaking, swimming, surfing, bushwalking, birdwatching and cycling. Just relaxing or reading a book in our lovely setting is also a wonderful option. Our Deluxe Riverview Lodge is riverfront and has 2 bedrooms (a queen bedroom with ensuite and a second room with double and single beds). The living area also has a double sofa bed. A verandah with tables and chairs provides fabulous views along the river. This Lodge has a full kitchen with a good sized fridge, stove, convection microwave, large electric frypan, kettle and toaster as well as all cutlery and crockery. All linen and basic toiletries are supplied in the Lodges.
