Sheri’s place is a great getaway with all the conveniences of home. The beds and couches are very comfortable. We had all the things we needed to relax, and especially enjoyed the hot tub. And the extra touches of kids toys, trampoline and play structure were just the ticket for my granddaughter. Would definitely go there again.

We enjoyed our stay at Kellee’s place. Kellee and Clay were excellent hosts. The beds were comfy and the natural light brought the outdoors in. We also enjoyed time in the hot tub and dockside fishing. The hammocks are perfect for a lazy weekend. We hope to return soon!

If you are needing a place to relax, this is it. The view of the lake is amazing. The pier was a great place to wish or just to sit and watch the water. Hammocks were great for laying and swaying in the wind. Throw in a hot tub and you will wind down perfectly. Inside the room, the mattress was one of the best i have slept on at an Airbnb. There are so many wonderful things i could add, from friendliness of the hosts to the proximity to so many things. We will certainly be revisiting.

Kellee and her husband were some of the nicest and most hospitable hosts I’ve met. If you are looking for a quaint place to stay on Lake Tawakoni you won’t find a better place for the price than Lake Wave rentals.

Very comfortable and peaceful!

This is a fantastic diamond in the rough. Price point is spot on for feeling comfortable on the pocketbook and worth every penny of the relaxation of napping in the hammock, fishing off the pier, and relaxing in the hot tub while the sun goes down! Cute and thoughtful extras like ice maker, hot plate portable stove for cooking, and smaller refrigerator with a freezer. ❤️

Enjoyed ourselves very much at this cozy cabin right on the lake. Kirk and Amy are just 2 of the sweetest people we've ever met. Plenty of room for my fiance and I and our 3 boys. Lots of room to play outside and everything need to grill a good steak or catfish! We will definitely be back in the summer time when the boat rental places are open

Wonderful little lake cabin with lots of personal touches and things that just make it cozy and unique! The hosts are outstanding and very helpful and generous people! You cannot go wrong staying at this wonderful little lake cabin! Worth every penny and then some!

Everything is secured on this amazing ranch behind a security gate! From Sunsets to the moon rising, dock life and ranch life at its best!!! Book and Enjoy!!!!!!!!

What a beautiful place! The location is perfect for going to Canton - it is so peaceful. The pergola and the swings are THE BEST! Our Moms mini vacation was so much fun and we would stay here again and again and again. Also can’t say enough about how comfortable the beds were - which was much appreciated after a marathon day of shopping. Communication with the owner was super easy and everything was exactly as expected.

Great location in between Lake Tawakoni and Lake Fork. Caught several bass out of David’s pond and the the home was very clean. David and his wife were hospitable and they keep the property maintained well.

The hosts are very kind and were accommodating to our special requests. There were thoughtful amenities and decorations for Christmas. My husband was excited to catch his first Texas fish in the pond (a bass). I got to be a tourist in my own hometown, having always seen this beautiful property from the highway growing up. We were just visiting family, but this would be perfect for large groups going shopping together in Canton or fishing trips to Lake Fork or Lake Tawakoni. There are five comfortable beds upstairs with a pretty view. The pool is gorgeous if you're there in the Summer. We enjoyed walking around the ranch and letting the toddler explore. This would be a real treat for anybody that's never had the opportunity to experience a farm/ranch. There is a nice large dock for fishing or just enjoying the stars at night. It is pitch black out there at night (aside from the Christmas lights they have set up right now). We had fun playing shuffleboard, so that was a unique touch. It's a short 5 or so minute drive into Emory for food if you don't want to cook (BBQ, DQ, Pizza Hut, Sonic, Mexican, bakeries, coffee, Brookshire's, etc). The location was great.

We stayed here for a wedding in Emory, Texas. This home is just as pictured and reviewed! Clean, quiet, comfortable beds, beautiful views, and very accommodating hosts. Would definitely stay again!

I believe it is marked as a 3 bedroom and there is a 4th room with a futon in it. It has 2 bathrooms too. Washer and dryer as well. Plenty of towels, blankets and washcloths. It is a quiet neighborhood. It’s a cozy place. We would book again.

It's very hidden in the trees, which makes the name "cozy lake house" extremely accurate. Good stay!

This is the cutest lake house in quinlan and it has everything you’ll need! We only spent a short night/day here but it’s definitely a place I’d recommend. The inside is a little outdated yet quaint. The outside makes the house for sure! There’s many spots you can hang out and it’s right off the lake, there’s even kayaks and a fire pit available to use.

Pecan Acres is wonderful. I enjoyed my quiet mornings with the family of deer who came to visit and the absolute best showers ever. the kitchen is a dream and they have it equipped with anything you will need to prepare a meal just as if you are at home. Melanie even has the most darling Hershey s’more kit stocked and ready for her guests. I could go on but you really should check it out for yourself. You will be so happy that you did :)

The weather was a challenge with tornado warnings and potential snow but our group came together and we had a fantastic experience regardless of the weather conditions. If it weren't for the hospitality and the amount of space inside the home we would have been much more cramped but fortunately, it was even more spacious than anticipated. We will be back!

I wanted to say that our stay at your AIR BNB was truly outstanding! The house was lovely and the property views were beautiful. The best part was that we all fit comfortably in the home and the price was very affordable.

Pictures don’t do this cabin justice. You have to go and experience it for yourself. It’s absolutely charming, perfectly remote, and so peaceful. We came expecting to explore to surrounding areas a bit but loved the cabin so much we didn’t leave the property once during our stay. We visited with our 3 kids (11,7,5) and left all electronics at home. From sun up to sun down the kids were out on the swing, in the hammock, collecting sticks, or exploring. We also loved the hot tub and spent so much time out front on the rocking chairs. We loved preparing our meals in the kitchen with such a beautiful view! Everything was perfect. Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, towels, and bedding. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks!

There are two things of which you can never been sure when traveling: the comfort of the bed and the ability to maintain a comfortable sleep temperature. There is no need to worry here. My husband and I were looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway and this cabin provided all we needed and more thanks to Melissa. She stocked the cabin with all kinds of goodies and even some special treats to help celebrate our anniversary. Coffee on the dock with a gentle breeze blowing across the water makes this cabin a “go to” in our opinion.

This was a great place to stay for our quick trip to Lake Tawakoni. It was the perfect size for my family of 4, fully equipped with everything we needed and so much more. The property itself is amazing.

The Casita was perfect! We spent a couple of quiet days just relaxing and enjoying the views and each other's company. The space is clean, practical and stylish. The deck is great, as are the views from the living area. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the WiFi was fast and reliable. Comfortable, clean and cozy. A great getaway!

Nice space! Friendly and clean! I would only note that if someone is disabled to know that the rooms are only upstairs but the sofa is a pull out couch! We had my grandmother and a pregnant friend come along, along with the bathroom only being located downstairs! Other than that it was very spacious and clean! We enjoyed the dock and fish cleaning station! We caught 2 cat fish and one smaller fish! Very peaceful!

Great lake house with many features!

We spent Thanksgiving week at the Lakehouse hosting and visiting with familiy and friends. We had an thoroughly enjoyable stay. The house was great... lots of rooms, large living room with ample seating, great kitchen and eating area and awesome outdoor space... generous deck with pleny of outdoor furniture and big back yard w/ fire pit were an added bonus. While the location is a bit out of the way, there are still plenty of grocery stores and other amenities close by (5-15 min drive) depending on where you go. The only glitch was the Wi-Fi, which was intermittent the first few days. The owner, however, was very responsive and called the service provider to recify the problem. For us this wasn't a huge inconvenience as we weren't there to work or watch TV. Overall, the Lakehouse is great place to stay, particularly if you're looking for a quiet location to relax and unwind... we would not hesitate to return.

We had a wonderful time at the Lake house. The home was very cute and equipped with everything we needed, right down sticks for smores. We enjoyed the fire pit, and the dock access was the best! Our kids had a great time swimming, fishing and paddling around. We would definitely love to return.

This house is beautiful and we’d definitely stay again. The house came stocked with anything you could ever need. More cooking supplies than I’ve ever seen in a rental. Plus lots of games and fun for the whole family. We had a great time.

Our expectations were too high but it all worked out. Ben's place is rustic on the outside, like a cabin in the woods, but with fine finishing on the inside: ceramic tile, new flooring, crown molding, inside bathroom remodeled, and nicely equipped kitchen. No WiFi means more time to play games with family and talk. Great Weber charcoal grill on back patio. TVs, while old (no flatscreens), still work and a nice selection of VHS and DVDs. House is located a few houses away from the lake but no lake access there (all private lakefront houses) - you need to drive a mile to nearest marina. You can see the water from the street in front of the house. We made the 20 minute drive to Lake Tawakoni State Park with a nice beach, fishing pier, and walking/biking trails and loved it. We enjoyed our stay overall and had a fun family time. Neighbors dogs behind house are fenced out but do bark a lot (we got used to it and it didn't bother us after the first day). To make it even better, we suggested to Ben, better attention to cleaning details is needed and better regular professional fumigation to control insects. Also the queen-size bed sags and needs to be replaced. Ben is very nice, communicative and was thankful for the suggestions. We would stay again.

Feel like you’re taking a trip back In time! The movies were VHS and my kids and husband loved picking out movies every evening! We also used the wood burning stove and that was so much fun. Played cards. Great place to unplug and relax. Saw deer each morning.

The Tree House is a very well kept and easy to get to place. We stayed here will visiting family in the area for the holidays. We had 4 adults and 2 kids, but we all slept comfortably with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We saw many deer every morning on the way out. Excellent place to stay. Diana was very responsive and is an excellent host. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great place to spend our thanksgiving vacation. Was able to visit with a lot of family with a great view of the lake. After a few days my kids forgot about the fact that they didn’t have WiFi. My children were able to bond over watching VHS movies and playing board games. Highly recommend!

The place was very clean, all the amenities were there. Property owners are super nice. We visited to get some fishing time in, and we had so much fun. We used the paddle boat to navigate the water and it was really cool. The feel is very relaxing. The house is very comfortable and you feel at home immediately, we DEFINITELY recommend!!

The Treehouse at Lake Tawakoni is a wonderful place to go for rest, relaxation, and fishing. Diana goes out of her way to make sure a guest has everything that they need. The deck is fabulous and is a great place for morning coffee/tea. The cabin has all of the amenities that one could need. The outdoor space and lake access are amazing. The guest who came with me caught 30 fish in a day and a half right from the shoreline. I highly recommend Diana's cabin.

What a great lakehouse! The space is super comfortable and spacious with nice touches to make it a great lakehouse but not too rustic (actually not rustic at all, but with all the advantages of *feeling* like a rustic adventure). It is definitely a space set apart from modern life, giving you privacy and a space to relax and listen to the lake. Still, within 15 minutes you can be at restaurants and stores. HUGE BONUS: this house is practically soundproof inside. From a bedroom, you will not hear a lot of ambient noise from the other bedroom or living room .... I wish my house at home had this soundproofing! Thank you Chris for a great stay!!! Hope to return one day.

Stacey’s place was amazing! We had a group of 21 people- 3 couples & the rest singles. There were exactly enough beds for our stay. The kitchen was big enough for all of us to have food & the grills outside were an amazing touch! We loved the cabin feel of the place (i guess it isn’t just a cabin feel- it is an actual cabin!) the A/C kept the house cold & fishing from the pier & swimming in the lake was a huge plus! We LOVED the animals- dogs, puppies, deer, a donkey, zebra, cows, and a bobcat!! That was so fun to be able to check out! Dallas is an hour drive away so you’re not too far to take a day trip. We adored this place and are already trying to think of how we can get back up there!

Beautiful place with lots of space!

The physical location is beautiful, house is spacious with multiple sleeping and hang out areas. There are trails on the property but most of the land isn’t accessible without ATVs so don’t expect to traverse the full property on foot.

If you are wanting the perfect getaway vacation home, this place is it. The “lodge” is beautifully decorated and is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Chris makes sure you have a delicious breakfast in the mornings. The amazing pool that overlooks the lake provides the perfect view for complete relaxation. The dock gives you access to fish and experience all lake activities. We actually caught several nice size fish right off the dock. The hospitality was beyond amazing. Best place to stay on Lake Tawakoni!

I rented Chris’s place for my parents for their anniversary. Chris was amazingly quick with his reposes. Chris was very very welcoming and offered great directions as well as local points of interest. The House was even prettier than the pictures! The pool was amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough.

This place is truly amazing, so well kept and clean. I'm definitely coming back. Chris and his wife made us breakfast and had egg from their chicken coup. Such a beautiful place, the sunset was gorgeous and the experience was awesome in such a beautiful home.

Before we had arrived Chris was very helpful with the area and instructions on how to get to the house. Chris and his wife greeted us as we arrived and were very accommodating. The house is a beautiful property and the breakfast the next morning was a great way to start the day. I would definitely recommend.
