Places to stay in East Warburton
The Little House on the Hill at the eastern end of Warburton overlooks the chooks, the veggie patch, the orchard and across the valley to gorgeous 270° views. It is next door to the Big House, set on an acre that slopes down to the Yarra River. A great swimming spot on hot days and a good way to access the town and the rail trail (five minutes there, maybe ten minutes return - uphill). There are plenty of lovely walks nearby including the Aqueduct Trail that starts further up the hill.
The Little House is perfect for two people. A comfy queen bed with aircon, dvd, microwave, fridge etc. Relax and soak up the mountain air, enjoy the spring water on tap and experience all that Warby has to offer.
  • A small but very practical and efficient space that is super clean, has amazing little touches such as quality bread, jam and ground coffee, and that is before the spectacular views and the access to the jaw dropping aqueduct trail. Thank you Bruce for providing such a nice respite away from the hustle and bustle. Hope to be back!

  • Bruce’s place was better than expected! His place is really accessible via Melbourne (Melbourne Central to Lilydale - 1 hour and then hop onto a bus at Lilydale and it brings you directly to to his street. 2 hours journey via public transport. Bruce fetches us from the bus stop. Such a kind gesture. Loved the place. It’s a little heaven on earth! Beautiful! Facing the mountains and the view was splendid. His place was exactly as described in the listing, maybe even better in person. There is a small valley just down the road. Bruce had left us bread, butter, fruits and even chocs. Best Airbnb I have stayed in Melbourne in the countryside! A splendid experience!! Our holiday was made perfect with Bruce’s perfect little home. Cheers

Nestled between the Redwood Forest and La La Falls you'll find our tiny mountain getaway. Get toasty by the wood fire and relax while you take in the mountain views. Enjoy visits from our resident wildlife, Kookaburra's, Lyrebird's, Cockatoo's, Wallabies and even a Wombat. This is the perfect retreat for couples who want to exclude themselves from the world or adventure the beauty of the surrounds.
Mountain Tiny House is the complete luxury off-grid experience. We're powered completely by solar, a water tank, gas bottles and a compost toilet (which works better than a regular toilet, we promise).
Warburton is a small town in the Yarra Valley. Stop for a coffee or chai latte at BT Dubbs or a woodfire pizza at Little Joe's. Directly behind the stores in town you'll be able to walk along the river and feed the ducks that reside behind the township.
  • The most perfect getaway! The view is breathtaking and the town is so lovely. We were able to switch off and reset. Can’t rate this place highly enough - felt like an absolute privilege to stay there.

I really appreciated the helpful notes Tracey left around the home, and the bucket of birdseed for feeding the parrots :) The home is sparkling clean, all the amenities with coffee and tea provided and a smart tv. We were fortunate that the nights were cool enough for us to enjoy a fire in the evenings, which made our stay perfect.

This is a beautiful space on Mt Donna Buang in Warburton. Close enough to walk to the popular local cafes, your studio looks out over the mountains and is just a short walk away from the idyllic aquaduct trail in the forest. Swim in the river nearby or cycle the Donna if you dare! Below the main house, your spacious studio has a private entrance, large living space with vintage and retro features, large bedroom, private bathroom, wifi, stunning views, limited catering facilities.
The overall house is a 1940s building that has been fully renovated. The studio is downstairs, the only access is via its private entry from your own small deck. Inside the living space is large with polished floorboards, furnished with 2 1950s armchairs, a 1950s breakfast table and a Georgian chaise. The large bedroom has a very comfortable queen-sized bed, a wardrobe and a separate set of drawers for your clothes. The bathroom is modern and includes a full sized bath with shower overhead.
You look out to Mt Groom which is beautiful. A walk 800m up Donna Buang Rd brings you you to one of the entry points for the O’Shannessy Aquaduct, which is a beautiful walk. I love it in winter when the lyrebirds are singing. A walk down the hill takes you to the Yarra River, beautiful to walk and/or swim. Yes, this is a beautiful place to be and I love it.
  • A lovely peaceful little space with a beautiful backdrop&good location. Perfect for escaping the city :)

Welcome to Big Patsa's Place, located in Big Pats Creek which is fully fenced and gated and only a 6 minute drive to central warburton. The house is set on a beautiful and peaceful 1 acre of land bursting with wildlife, its one of the most relaxing places in warburton. There are multiple family's of birds that visit on a daily including King Parrots, Rosella's, Kookaburra's, and willy wag tails, along with many other bird species. During spring you’ll see many ducklings, and baby rabbits
The house is fully selfcontained and located just before the Big Pats Creek bridge , which is great for fishing with small brown trout and freshwater crayfish that are caught on a daily basis, your welcome to bring your own fishing gear or use our 2 fishing rods. During summer its a great place to cool down or even walk the creek it has some amazing features and is great to explore with the kids. There is a trampoline, swing set games and toys for the kids along with a large selection of movies for families. At only $190per night for 4 people and only an additional $50 for each person after that up to 11, we think this is by far the best value for money for families and groups of people visiting in warburton. If you enjoy bush walks you are at the start of the Walk into History. The Big Pats Creek to Starling Gap trek follows the Federal tramway, which was constructed in 1933 and used by the timber workers in the area. You will be able to locate lengths of the old tram tracks by the side of the path in some places, for more information you can google this, a great journey into history. For the trail bike & mountain bike rider's there is no better place. You can ride straight from the front gate with hundreds of kilometers of tracks and trails throughout the upper yarra forest, for the dirt bike rider try the Big Pats Creek to the Reefton Pub trail, challenging but fun. For the bike riders we have 10 bikes that everyone is welcome to use during your stay, there are 4 Adult bikes, 3 Medium size bikes and a couple of smaller bikes for toddlers, or you can still bring your own there is plenty of space in both sheds on the property to store both dirt and mountain bikes, there are some bike helmets and 2 toboggans if your heading up to the snow on Mt Donna Buang. At the rear of the property and through the gate is your own private rain forest to explore, during the winter months it has a small creek that runs through it that can lead you down to other parts of Big Pats Creek. You have the run of the entire house and property which at 28Sqs of living space it has plenty of room for 2 or more families or a group of friends of up to 11 people. The House Ground Floor The Main Bedroom has a Queen Bed, ensuite, walk in robe, electric fireplace, parents retreat with lounges and TV The 2nd Bedroom has a Queen Bed, wardrobe and small TV with direct access to main bathroom Lounge room, dining table, DVD, high chairs, ironing board, butlers pantry and laundry with dish washer and washing machine the dryer is located in the Bungalow Main Bathroom with Shower toilet and bath, towels, bed linen, pillows are all included, you may want to bring your own linen or towels for longer stays if you don't wish to use the washing machine. There is no Wi-Fi however 3G and 4G phones and devices have good reception 1'st Floor The 3rd Bedroom is located at the top of the stairs and has a double bed with a single bed and trundle this is a large room and sleeps 3 or 4 people it has a set of draws for clothes The 4th Bedroom is a loft style room set up for the younger kids, with 2 single beds and a trundle, lego table, rocking horse, kids pram, and some other toys for the children to enjoy. Our 2 younger children love staying in this room. The 3rd living area is between bedrooms 3 and 4 and is a fantastic space with its own lounge suite and TV. This is a large room for either the children or to get away from them :-) It has wonderful views from the unique windows. Kitchen and Butlers Pantry The main kitchen is larger than normal with a huge amount of bench space. The rustic bench tops were made from the old oak tree on the property a number of years ago. It has an induction stove and oven with all the pots, plates, cups and cuttlery supplied for you during your stay including fridge and microwave. Tea coffee, coffee machine and sugar are provided and a small pantry of staples. Along with the conventional oven is a rayburn combustion wood fire oven. Big Pats Creek during winter can be cold so we have oil heaters in every room and electric fire places in the Main room and main lounge. There is also a split system for cooling and heating on the ground floor and first floor The Bungalow is a games room with pool table dart board Bluetooth speaker and bar. You can access the bungalow for the clothes dryer. The Property We allow pets but this is limited to 2 Dogs, they are free to roam the property and there is also an encloser, the fences are about 4ft high so if you have dogs that like to jump you may need to have them on a long lead. If they are inside please don't allow them on the furniture or bedding. As always please pick up after your dogs bins are on the property and are collected each Wednesday. We allow fires in the fire flu on the deck (Please always check fire restrictions) I supply wood for a small fire however there is always plenty of wood on the ground in the near by bush or the local IGA and hardware store have it in stock. The fire place on the deck can be used all year round (Please always check fire restrictions however). During the autum and winter months there will be lots of leaves around the property which cant be burnt during June and July. Being a country property there is the occasional power outage, this does'nt occur very often however it may happen. Power is normally restored within a few hours if there is a problem we have flashlights and candles if needed. The water for the property comes directly from the upper yarra river, and is'nt treated with chlorine or fluoride which is great, we all drink the water however I recommend you drink the water from the water cooler. We have septic tanks so please be careful not to flush any sanitary items or use any type of bleach in the 3 toilets. Parking There is a carport that fits 2 SUV's easily along with a parking bay half way up the drive way for an additional 2 cars. If you have more than 4 cars you can park through the gate at the back door of the property. (Max 5 Cars at the property). The drive way is reasonably long, if you have trailers with bikes it's easier to drive into the property and turn around rather than backing it down the drive way. We have put together a guide on all the wonderful sites and attractions that warburton has to offer but if your not sure you can contact me via email or mobile, You don't have to check out until 11am the next day so you don't have to rush. The property manager lives just next door so if you have any problems feel free to contact me and I will send him over. Please enjoy your stay and we look forward to having you visit us soon Emma
  • Just perfect! The house is huge and the location is lovely, in the middle of the forest. With parrots on the porch!

  • Quick and friendly response, very fair pricing. Prime location in a beautiful rain forrest, this rustic and charming house was a great place to stay for us. The kids loved it thanks to plenty of toys and a big garden. Movies and an abundance of games helped us to get through a rainy day. Maybe also because of the rainy weather, some rooms appeared to be a little bit damp, but otherwise very clean and in excelent state.

  • Emma’s house is spacious and suits a couple of families and has three different living areas. Our Labrador loved running around the secure and spacious garden. Emma is a great host who communicates well. Thank you for a lovely stay.

  • This is the perfect getaway just outside of Warburton. The house is everything you could ask for- spacious, clean, multiple living areas and all with stunning views of the trees and birds. It is so close to multiple walking tracks that would take days to complete if you were keen. It is only 7 mins from shops and supermarket but was lovely to be away from that in nature. Emma is so helpful and quick to respond. Definitely hope to return.

  • A wonderful stay. The kids loved it, especially the chickens, goats and pony, and "driving" the bus. There is reasonable access to the river right near the farm gate, and many other spots neqrby as well. Melissa and Rob are great hosts, on a great property well worth a visit.

    Hugo2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a blast here! Melissa and Rob were so welcoming and wonderful, and my boys loved sleeping in the bus, pretending to drive the bus, and the pony rides!!! The games room was also great and overall, highly recommend for anyone looking for a different type of holidaying experience. The bus has everything you need and is a massive step up from camping, and was really comfortable. The value is also excellent. Very fun, very quirky, and great hosts! We will be back!

    Kirsten2020-01-13T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful spot with kind and generous hosts who were kind with their time, and the time with their animals, which my daughter really loved. Hope to come back soon, thanks Melissa and Rob (and Gerard) 🙂

    Chris2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Melissa and Rob were very accomodating. What an awesome stay and great weather we had. Sitting around the fire in the evening with the stars soooo big in the sky. Watching satellites and the space station pass overhead was quite spectacular. Pony ride was immensely enjoyed :-) . Thanks for a great few nights.

    Greg2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Melissa & Rob’s bus is really near Warburton in a lovely farm setting where you can relax, have a bbq and listen to the abundance of birds as the sun goes down. Near lots of activities in the area. A quirky stay in a converted bus with everything you’ll need for a ‘glamping’ experience. They were both lovely with lots of tips and available for anything we needed.

    Maaike & Johan2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Melissa & Rob were amazing. Communication is constant, the fresh chicken eggs and the provisions for breakfast were great. We enjoyed our 2 nights stay with our boys. We are so grateful when Rob prepared the fire pit for us instantly when our boys requested for roasted marshmallows while we were grocery shopping in Woolies. The bus is an amazing place to take it all in and enjoy the precious moments with your family. We will definitely be back

The kitchenette: Has an electric cook top, kettle, toaster, and coffee making equipment (with coffee, tea, and milk supplied) so it's great for basic food preparation, reheating, breakfast etc. But it is not ideal for cooking a large involved meal as there is no oven. You can fry eggs, make toast, do basic reheating. Antipasto platters are a good way to go here, especially if you've got your hands on some of that nice Yarra Valley produce on the way. Surrounding attractions: (Check out our personalized air bnb "guide" as well) but for now: We are a ten minute drive into Warburton township...many great cafes and cute shops The famous redwood grove is just down the road The Buddhist monastery is nearby The Yarra River has many great picnic spots Many great wineries in the area - we are locals, and happy to recommend just ask! The whole of the Yarra Valley is here to explore
It is a quiet part of the world, with a mixed demographic of tree changers, locals, and weekenders.
  • Beautiful little space to take a few breathes and reconnect with nature plenty to do around the area and a perfect little window to look at the stars in the night, great space for exploring during the day and reading, crafting and listening to music in the evening and comfy bed to rest :) Ewan and Zoe had great communication.

  • Gunther’s cottage is located in font of a beautiful forest and faces an amazingly beautiful Mountain View. Gunther offered us the vegetables from his farm as we arrived late. Enjoying a simple dinner in front a beautiful landscape, surrounded by birds singing, makes the whole experience so special. Relaxation atmosphere is the first thing you will have at his Airbnb, and it’s such an unexpected surprise to find a private and peaceful place 40km away from Melbourne. We truly appreciate Gunther’s hospitality and kindness.

    Lilian2020-02-11T00:00:00Z

Womblebank Tiny House, Warburton was established by people who have a passion for exploring and travelling and like many travellers we enjoy comfort, design and privacy. Our tiny house offers the deluxe feel of a grand hotel in miniature. Beautiful linen, exclusive toiletries and a beautiful setting. The native garden setting is restful and home to some beautiful native birds. Whether you want to tackle the local bike trails or rest, Womblebank is the place for you.
COVID-19 As a former nurse I understand the nature of a virus and the precautions need to help prevent its spread as much as one can. After each booking, I block out the day the guest leaves so I have a full day to clean and disinfect the Tiny House (I do not charge a cleaning fee). The building is small and new so easy to wipe down all the touchable surfaces. I also provide disinfectant and disposible cloths for guests to also wipe down surfaces. There is also good hand wash, soap and toilet paper provided. I do not have children and work from home, so semi self-isolating, only going out for essentials. There is everything you need to self cater so you do not need to mix with anyone once you are here. At Womblebank Warburton BnB, we allow guests to experience living in a "Tiny House" We have tried to carefully design the building to ensure our guests have everything they need during their stay.
Warburton has everything you will need for a relaxing holiday with great little cafes, wonderful bush walks, the amazing Yarra River to swim, paddle or just admire the beauty and for the push bike enthusiast, there is the Warburton Rail Trail.
  • We had a fantastic stay in this tiny house. So many thoughtful touches and such a beautiful setting, it had everything there for us and more.

The 'Tiny Shed' is a simple and cosy space, set up to ensure you have your basics covered while you explore all the Yarra Valley has to offer. You will wake up to the sound of kookaburras, surrounded by beautiful native gums, ancient deciduous trees, all nestled on the bank of Meyer's Creek.
It is a small, self contained space, set up in a studio style, featuring a Queen size bed, bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen is fitted with a small fridge, electric mini oven and hob, toaster, kettle, and all utensils. We also have TV set up to play DVD and a great selection for you to choose from. It is located a 5 minute drive or 40 minute walk from the Healesville township on a large four acre property, surrounded by native bush, abundant wildlife and stunning grassland. The bathroom is completely off-grid, so please be aware that we have a composting toilet and electric shower.
Being only a short drive from the centre of town, there is so much that Healesville has to offer! Must visits like the Four Pillars Distillery, Innocent Bystander and Giant Steps cellar doors and great cafes (see us for our favourite local haunts) We’re in a great position to explore all of the vineyards the Yarra Valley has to offer and have maps available for your to plan your route. There’s also plenty of day walks to explore around us, from the Maroondah Dam, Toolangi State Park and Donnelley’s Weir, we’ve highlighted a few of our favourites here too!

  • The tiny house is more than enough for 1 or 2 people for couple of days to relax ! The location is magnificient, between some farms, 10 min away driving from Healesville. It has all the essential confort that you need. I would recommend to rent it when the weather is warm and nice outside as it is a little bit small. Bathroom is so great ! Such an interesting and funny experience (was funny for me actually, if you wanna start get "green", you can start this way). Garden and property are perfectly maintained, very green, lot of trees and flowers, it is very peacefull. Jesse gave me some advices for places to go around, he is such a nice and friendly person. Thank you again for your hospitality, this is the kind of experience everybody would need at least once to get back energy from our beautiful planet !

  • Phat joint. Liked feeling secluded yet only being a 6 min drive to the main drag of Healesville. Treats were left out for my arrival, but due to allergies I couldn’t eat :( I would stay again.

  • Jesse and Emily are great hosts. The wine, bread and chocolate cookies when we arrived were delicious and was a nice welcome. The shed is close to a lot of hiking paths and is a great place to get some quiet time. We loved it a lot! The shed is cozy and has a lot of nice details. Absolutely recommended!

  • Julie is truly a superhost - very quick in communications and responses and provided wonderful suggestions of places to explore and places to eat. The property was in a quiet location and met expectations. Having the heater on when we arrived provided welcomed warmth to an otherwise chilly and wet afternoon! Kitchen was well stocked with sauces etc and the amount of goodies provided for breakfast - eggs, bread, jams, cookies etc as well as chocolates left on the beds were wonderful welcome touches. Would definitely recommend Julie's place!

    Robert2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is beautiful with everything you need. It’s clean and beautifully done. The outdoor bath is a brilliant addition - very private but you feel nestled among the trees. The area is quiet with walking tracks and loads of wildlife, but Warburton offers local amenities as well. I would definitely stay here again!

    Julia2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved staying here. It was a private sanctuary with so many thoughtful and generous touches. Caroline, the host, was utterly delightful and so helpful. I was a tad nervous about the waterless eco loo but it was actually really good(and not smelly). Having a bath under the stars was pretty incredible but I think our favourite moment was catching a trout in the river(you can walk there easily from the accommodation) and cooking it in the court yard.. along with some gorgeous herbs and salad greens from Caroline’s garden.

NEW CONVID-19 RULES -set below! *WARBURTON'S MOST AFFORDABLE FAMILY RETREAT* HH is extremely family friendly, large enough for all the family, or even a couple of families... to all snuggle up in front of the fireplace!. Set in the picturesque surroundings of Warburton's mountain and forest bushland countryside. The colourful bird will greet you daily, the Yarra is across the road. Perfect for swims, hiking, bike riding, nature lovers, snow play on Mt Donna Buang, Valley festivals & wine tours!!
NOTE: as of March 31st, 2020, I have heavily discounted our rates for any new bookings- on top I have made bookings a minimum of 4 days for the period of lockdown and encourage that families that need to have short term accomodation at this time take advantage of the 55% weekly and 70% monthly discount (ONLY FOR THE CONVID-19 PERIOD) - I understand medical staff sometimes need to have their family away from them, and while Warburton is not near an Emergency Hospital, perhaps the families need somewhere!? Or you need a bigger house now that your family is all under the one roof and the fresh air and large backyard is something you need!? - we are not accepting holiday makers - more emergency short term stays - everything in accordance with Airbnb compliance and local lockdown laws. In a time where not many of us know what to do, (myself included) the one thing I can promise, is that the house is very clean, and we have upped our already high cleaning standards to exceed any recommendations. - Please also understand that the locals (and the country at large) will require you to adhere to strict "Stay Home" - distancing rules while at the house. If there are any questions I will try to help. Please stay safe and keep at least 2-3 metres from anyone not from your current household. Best wishes, Jess ** WARBURTON'S MOST AFFORDABLE FAMILY RETREAT*** *we promise to always be the best value... We may not have a spa, but we do have a beautiful 4 bedroom/2 bathroom house, in a great location, and we would really like to share it with others that would appreciate a good long family holiday, in your home away from home... now with an entertainment deck out the back. Our house is very comfortable!! That is pretty much its whole purpose... The bed's, the couches, the open plan and spacious rooms, are all comfy. The space is cosy enough for a couple wanting to snuggle up on the couch in front of the fireplace and read a book, and yet is large enough for two families to sit around having family time in the living areas, or having a BBQ and playing in the large back yard. The kids of ALL AGES will have plenty to keep them entertained, both inside the house and outside. They even have their own space in the Games room; with its own TV with DVD with lots of DVDS, Wii Playstation and games, boardgames, colouring in books and crayons, books and toys... including a cute wooden rocking horse. Outside in the secure backyard, (**NEW**) WE NOW HAVE A COSY DECK AND OUTDOOR SEATING AREA by the BBQ - plus tonka trucks and toys, a small slide, totem tennis and backyard cricket equipment... AND A 12ft TRAMPOLINE with safety walls: 2 x children or 1 x adult at a time, with supervision recommended. The house has 2 full bathrooms; the main bathroom with a full sized bath & shower combination, toilet and vanity, and the Master bedroom has a full ensuite (shower, toilet & vanity). The laundry, with washing machine and yesteryear clothes airer above the fireplace are also handy. Plus the kitchen is completely kitted out, and the dishwasher can do the washing up!
Apparently we are in Warburton's "best location" (we like it too!) because of views, proximity to the Yarra, and the quiet north facing aspect to the street, while still being a walk (10-15 mins/800 metres relatively flat walk) to the main road/strip - we have a beautiful street in this already lovely township. We are pretty much directly along the Yarra River, and the town is just a walk or bike ride away. Warburton is at the base of Mt Donna Buang, seen from the front porch, lounge room & Master bedroom windows of the house. The town has fabulous food, wine and coffee, and also restaurants, and the well stocked IGA supermarket is nearby. Plus the Arts Centre has family activities all year around, and the latest movies on daily. The bike rides are infamous, and bikes can be hired at Cog's Cafe. When you arrive we will have a few Tip's and trail suggestions for all your local or touristy knowledge, plus all the gossip on where you might want to do your wine touring or cellar doors. The Yarra Valley Wine is VERY GOOD!! ** find a handwritten Welcome Book on the coffee table: it contains all you'll need to map out your stay in Warburton, giving local knowledge and sharing in some hidden gems to make the most of your trip... as well as tips on where to dine, and who delivers if you've had a few too many wines ;) * the area is prone to a few blackouts in bad or unexpected weather changes... I promise you won't be cold however, as you'll still have a cosy woodfire, and lamps, torches and candles will keep you cosy. The large hotwater system tank should still retain its heat (but I can't guarantee it for large groups or very long showers if a blackout has occurred, as it is still electric) - but the gas lit kitchen will allow you to cook, and perhaps top up bathtubs. - there are also many board games, books and fun things for all ages to do if these "cosier" of days happen. I'm really sorry... unless the area is deemed unsafe legally (ie: evacuation for bushfire) - if unexpected natural occurrences happen, I don't offer refunds or date changes. - they are rare, but they happen... so please bring an adventurous spirit, and a spare deck of cards! ;-)

The beds are very comfortable and the toys, dvds and trampoline entertained our children when we were at home. The supplied bird seed ensured we got to see lots of wild birds including king parrots, cockatoos and rosellas and could even feed them from our hands on the veranda. Great home away from home, especially well catered for families.

Thanks Sarah and Jo for offering us a beautiful home for our getaway.

  • Great location in hilly surrounds, and moments from the main strip. Fresh clean air with the sounds of the birds singing and the rustle of the trees swaying with the breeze. We really enjoyed our weekend away. Sarah and Jo were great hosts, whilst we only crossed paths the once communication was always quick and easy. We definitely recommend to those seeking a break from a busy life.

  • Sarah's place provides such a lovely getaway with an idyllic location and cosy accommodation. It's the perfect place to unwind and reset, with access to a lovely walking track along an aquaduct behind the property. It's also a short drive into the centre of Warburton if you need supplies. Sarah was very friendly and hospitable too, we hope to return again in Winter so that we can enjoy sitting by the fire and watching the stunning nature through the window.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Winterwoods. The cottage is quaint and cosy with everything you could need. I appreciated the extra touches which made it feel like a home away from home. I really loved the fire and the bath and relaxing on the couch or in the comfy bed with lovely linen. I enjoyed being able to walk out the back garden to the aqueduct trail as well as much time locally by the river. Sarah and Jo have put much thought into their sparkling little cottage and I appreciated their hospitality and local knowledge. I enjoyed my time at Winterwoods immensely.

  • Warby Digs was a fantastic Air BnB and we very much enjoyed our stay at this wonderful house. It was super well equipped with everything you will need for your stay, the house is very spacious, beds comfortable and the house was very clean. What you see is what you get in the pictures provided by the hosts, and the check is is very easy. Larry is a fantastic host , was very responsive with communications and provided me with some great local tips when I asked!!. It was wonderful to have breakfast on the balcony, listening to the local birds and overlooking the mountains, very peaceful. The supermarket, cafes and local swimming spots are a drive away, in order to get the wonderful views, the house is located up some steep hills. No problem for my 24 yr old son, but a challenge for my 80 yr old mother in law. But everything is only a short drive away. We very much enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate coming back again. I highly recommend!!

  • Warburton is a magical place made even more enjoyable by Larry and Cheryl's wonderful place. Comfortable, spacious, clean and suitable for young kids ( we had a 16 month old and a 5 month old baby and the place was suitable for all). Plenty of great views all round inside and out, and very conveniently located to town. Hosts were accommodating with earlier check-in on a 40 degree day. Accurate description and photos. Thank you, we will come again!

    Sandra2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at this house. The house was very stylish and modern with some of the best country views I’ve seen. Larry and Cheryl were great hosts with plenty of communication.

  • This was a wonderful house to stay for an extended family weekend away together. Lovely views, garden and perfectly located close to the river track for a short walk to town. Generously sized house for all of us and a great deck to lounge on with a book. Marc and Gabrielle were very kind hosts and we appreciate their hospitality extending to dogs! We'd stay again in the future if we visited Warburton again.

  • We loved staying here for 4 nights. It is in such a great location and we could walk to everything we needed. The deck with bbq looking over the hills was well used. Beds were very comfortable - we slept very well. We cooked in a fair bit and there is lots of crockery, pots, extra condiments and proper wine glasses! We will be back.

  • This place was perfect for our family Christmas get away. We had 7 adults, 1 child and 1 pup and all had plenty of room to enjoy time together without feeling on top of each other. We enjoyed BBQ s on the deck, walks and paddles in the river, coffee and window shopping in town, relaxing on the lounge chairs out the front and taking in the views. The place is really well set up with every thing you need, and then some bonuses such as Foxtel and chrome cast - great for movie nights. Will be back!

    Alexandra2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, beautiful views, all four of us had comfortable beds, kitchen well equipped and thankfully, on the 42 degree day, each of the rooms had a split system which was brilliant, made the day bearable and could get a good night's sleep. We loved being close enough to walk to the river trail, a highlight of Warburton.

"Away with the Birds" is a creative and relaxing retreat set on 1/2 an acre of lovely established gardens. Your room is a private self contained Bungalow on the property called "The Nest". Cradled in the foothills of Mt Donna Buang and a short stroll from shops & restaurants the property also has a lovely working pottery studio where your host, an accomplished potter & art therapist weaves her magic. If you are wanting a special place to relax and be creatively inspired then look no further.
I'm excited to be offering my lovely Bungalow "The Nest", a relaxing, harmonious space where you can completely unwind. The bungalow is light filled, private and very cosy. It has its own ensuite which makes for complete privacy and convenience. The queen size bed is very comfortable and fully made up. There is split system air conditioner for those cooler nights and crisp mornings. Plenty of clean blankets and quilts if needed. Air conditioning is available for the hotter days to keep you comfortable. There is a small kitchenette in the room with microwave, refrigerator, electric jug, crockery, cutlery, a range of teas and coffee and a light breakfast. I also provide secure undercover shedding for bicycles. For those creatively inclined people the artistic surrounds will surprise and delight. Guests can feel free to roam the gardens or visit the pottery studio. I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the pottery or check out awaywithclay.com for details of classes and workshops.
My neighbourhood is a vibrant small community, a mixture of older residents, some of whom have lived in this particular street all their lives and new young families who are wanting large gardens to grow vegies, have chickens and live sustainably. It's a picturesque stroll (15 mins) to the main street which has everything you need for your stay, including an Arts Centre and cinema plus a supermarket, cafes and gift shops.
  • Jena’s place is great value. It is private from the main house and looks exactly like the photos. It was very comfortable and suited our needs perfectly (allowing us to attend a nearby wedding without being rushed). Jena herself is lovely and if I lived closer I would love to book in with her for some pottery lessons - she is very talented! Thanks again for a great stay :)

    Julia2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely place to relax and rewind! Jena is a lovely host, so welcoming and kind with great local knowledge. The little cottage at her home is a very cosy space and is in a perfect spot to stay and explore the region. Thanks again for having us Jena!

    Brody2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • It was such a delightful experience meeting Jena and staying in her breathtakingly beautiful space! I would move in in a heartbeat if I could. The bungalow itself is even more beautiful than in the photos, it has everything you could wish for for a relaxing getaway and Jena's lovely art pieces throughout the bungalow and gardens just make the place so very special. Jena is such a beautiful and welcoming host and her little furbabies Summa and Skye will melt your heart. Away with the Birds is located only a short stroll from the main street with lovely cafés, restaurants and shops, and with beautiful nature walks at the doorstep. I can't recommend this place enough, I will most definitely be back!

  • Jena's cottage and garden was a great place to relax after our bike ride from Lilydale. Jena was fantastic; very welcoming and kind. Would definitely recommend.

    Andrew2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • The location of this cottage stay had such tranquillity with beautiful views we loved it. We found there wasn't a bath it was a shower which was great. We loved the nice touches, as when it was bucketing down with rain Jenna left us a large umbrella so we could go out for dinner and not get wet. Jenna made us feel at home and allowed us to wander her garden and feel relaxed. We came away from our weekend break feeling a little sad at leaving but at the same time refreshed and also inspired to return to do a course.

The wagon is 10 meters away from the house. A cosy, magical place to relax. Please ask if you have any questions about anything.
This is a gorgeous little gypsy wagon that you will fall in love with...the cute factor is delightful and the location is awesome being close to everything that nature and a little historic village has to offer! Small and ever so cute, there is enough space inside for a double bed (not suitable for those over 6 foot) and one overhead single child bed, a sink, a hot plate, a stool and a small bench. The hand pump tap provides cold drinking water. A kettle, heater and fan, tea/coffee, crockery, etc are provided. Outside are table and chairs and a fireplace/basic grill and a lovely green garden. A trampoline and hammock available. At the back of the house is a bar fridge for your exclusive use. Myself & partner are in the house and love living in this small village away from any big populations. Enjoy a cuppa under elm trees, mountain views, outdoor fireplace and outdoor bath. A wonderful experience in a beautiful area. Pets welcome on a leash and must not be inside the wagon. There is shelter under the wagon. Bathroom is 10 metres inside the house. The house is old and very slowly being renovated as we have time - there are no gleaming surfaces - it is no hotel but you only use the house briefly for the bathroom (or you can use the public toilets if you don’t want to use the house one). There is a lovely outdoor bath near the wagon (filled with hot and cold water by a hose from the laundry) and close to the campfire. Bathing under the elm trees and the sky is truly blissfully relaxing and for true indulgence book an Deluxe Bathe Package, more info below. A hammock swings gently under the orange tree while birds and butterflies flutter around the garden. It is 5 min walk to the river and 15 min walk to take away cafes and shops! The Aquaduct Trail is at the top of the street and the river for reflecting, fishing, paddling or swimming is at the bottom of the street. A bus from/to Lilydale train station is 7 min walk away. Bikes, pets and child welcome. There are views of the mountains and forests from the lawn and the back deck of the house and there is a trampoline for kids. We are still refining many things. Warburton is a quaint and lovely little village at the head of the Yarra Valley, only one hour from Melbourne's eastern suburbs. Surrounded by forests and rivers, you feel an extraordinary sense of peace and wellbeing envelop you when you arrive. At last, here is a place where time slows right down, where daydreaming is as important as focussing, where platypus, fish and ducks meet you in the water and lyrebirds and echidnas pass you on forest walks. Its a place to do nothing at all...or many things including the Warburton Rail Trail (stretching 30km from Melb), bush trails, river walks, picnics, swimming in Summer and snowplay up on Mt Donna Buang in Winter. Nature lovers, bird watchers, painters, photographers and exercise movers will love the myrtle beech rainforests, the 300 year old Ada Tree, a tall mountain ash, one of the world's largest known flowering trees. You can take a walk amongst the great canopies of giant eucalyptus trees on the skywalk at Mount Donna Buang Rainforest Gallery, or explore the old acqueduct or historic gold rush areas. Plenty of excellent cafes, restaurants, take away and wineries dot the area (this is part of the Yarra Valley gourmet trail) and curio shops make for great browsing along Warburton's main street.
  • A very lovely and snug spot. Surrounded by trees and snails. I got the pleasure of waking up to the sounds of birds and rain.

  • Unassuming & simple... and completely delightful! I felt very welcomed and enjoyed the privacy I was given. The gypsy wagon has the necessities for a good night's rest after exploring all the beauty that nature provides this stunning township. I was able to run a bath and relax under the stars, with only the possums for company. They say the simple things in life are the best, and Phoenix & Blue have created just that. A truly delightful experience, I hope to return soon.

So Ideal if your into bird watching, bush walking, or hiking. All our water comes from the little Yarra rivers tributaries so it's clean, untreated and fresh. The house stays very warm in winter and cool in the summer.

We have also made sure that there is minimum 24 hours between stays over the coming months. One bedroom split level tiny house, the bed sits in a loft and there is a little bed for a little one also. There is a small bathroom with a shower and bath all hooked up to hot water and a toilet. Kitchen has gas cook top with 3 burners, small fridge and double sink. The kitchen comes fully stocked with utensils, pots and crockery. We also supply oil, salt, pepper, tea, milk and coffee. Wood fire for heating, with a wood fired oven. The tiny house also has a small desk with Ethernet cable and wireless internet, which reaches throughout the space. So perfect for getting away and getting some work done, writing or music. We have some chickens, geese and a dog on the property. All are very friendly, they might come say hello, but usually keep to themselves. We have one neighbour and the tiny house is situated on the same property as our main house. The french doors open to a private garden shaded by a peach tree.
There is a large supermarket open 7 days 15 minutes away in Yarra Junction or an organic grocery store open 6 days a week called Village Greens, not open Sundays. Yarra Junction also has a laundromat if need. There are amazing walks and interesting history around the town for you to explore. The Ada tree is also located nearby. A beautiful cafe called Nancy’s of the Valley is located in Yarra Junction that serves delicious drinks and food.
  • We had a lovely getaway in Sam and April's wooden tiny house. The space has everything you could need with a unique and earthy feel. The hosts were friendly and approachable. Thanks so much for a great stay, we will definitely be back!

  • A charming tiny house that's so different to the standard (and I think boring) sheds that have sprung up. It's a lovely space, and the hike from hill lead car park up to Ada Mill and the Ada tree is a great weekend 20km round trip! A word of warning, there are roosters, so if you aren't the deepest of sleepers, bring some ear plugs to fend off the dawn chorus 😊

    Matt2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful little cabin perfect for a weekend escape. Close to walking trails and a close drive to cafe’s and supermarkets.

  • Cute cozy little place to escape from the hussle and bustle of city life. We'll definitely be staying again. Thank you

  • Beautiful little tiny house in a great location with some good hiking in the local area through rainforests. Very cosy, lots of timber and recycled/reclaimed building materials, wonderful use of tree branches and trunks placed throughout the structure. Woodfire heater is great to kick back with a glass of wine and relax.

  • We had an amazing weekend at this incredible place. Great to escape the city and relax in such a peaceful environment.

  • A beautiful, cosy tiny house set amongst pristine bush in Poweltown. So friendly and really easy check-in. Had a great time exploring thanks to April's local walking tips, where to eat and whats going on in the local area. Great place to rest and recharge. Highly recommend this place.

The apartment is located on the lower level of our house on over an acre of land with majestic mountain views. The studio is accessed by a private parking space, pathway and entrance, with your own garden area to relax outdoors. Inside is spacious, stylish and comfortable with wood tones, warm colours and quality furnishings. The Warburton main street with cafes, river and quirky country shopping is a 20 minute walk. The aqueduct trail with giant ferns and towering mountain ash, close by.
The apartment has studio style living plus a contemporary bathroom, complete with spa bath, seperate shower and mountain view. The open plan living is spacious with a king size bed, large couch and two comfy leather arm chairs placed to take in the breathtaking mountain vista. In summer watch the birds hopping about in the garden and the vibrant sunsets. In the cooler months catch the mists and clouds rolling in. There is a smart TV and wifi. However the sound system with your favourite song playing, a glass of local wine and a good book from our collection is highly recommended. The kitchen has an espresso machine, microwave , fridge, quality cookware and a cooktop but no oven. It's well set up for easy cooking in and we supply oil, salt, pepper, fresh ground coffee and organic teas. Your welcome to pick herbs from the garden. Outside on the front porch is a kettle BBQ and outdoor table and a small fire pit for cooler nights under the stars. Inside there is a split system to keep you cosy in winter and cool in summer. It's a 4 minute drive to the shops and cafes and 10 minutes walk to the aqueduct trail. The Redwoods and La La falls are close by. On a hot day swim in the river or cool down under the giant ferns. In winter visit the snow at Mt Donna Buang and spot the lyrebirds dancing through the forest. Further afield, taste cool climate wine the region is famous for, or gin from Four Pillars in Healesville, recently awarded best gin producer in the world. The Ada Tree, Healesville Sanctuary, Tarrawarra Museum........the list is endless but maybe all you need is the fresh air, spring water, beauty, comfort and tranquility of our Mountain Retreat.
Warburton is a picturesque country town. Surrounded by beautiful rainforest with the Birrarung ( Yarra River) winding through the Valley. It has incredible natural beauty. Outdoor pursuits abound, bushwalking, mountain biking, the Lilydale to Warburton rail trail, swimming and fishing in the Yarra. There is a vibrant arts community and a gourmet foody trail but we understand you may never want to leave our peaceful retreat.

A simple, earthy offgrid cottage, built with reclaimed timbers and handmade mudbricks. It is an intimate retreat to call home, and explore the Yarra Valley. The Mudbrick Cottage is a peaceful and inviting space where natural living meets beauty. The Cottage has been renovated, but retains its rustic charm, with exposed wood beams, high ceilings, a wood fire, and a newly built deck to enjoy the call of wildlife.
A cosy retreat for nature lovers, couples, bike riders and bush walkers. The property is completely off grid, with power coming from the sun, and water from the rain. If the sun has not been out much, you may hear the hum of the generator powering up the batteries for a short time. Heating is via a wood heater, which will be set and ready to light when the weather cools, and ample fire wood available to you. A fan is available for cooling in the summer. The bedroom is a truly restful space, with an amazingly comfortable queen bed, perfect for tucking yourself in for an early night, or for a lazy morning in bed. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a gas oven and stovetop, bar fridge with small freezer, pots and pans, kettle, toaster and coffee machine, everything you need for a foodie's weekend away! Continental breakfast is provided, so you can start your day off with a relaxing breakfast in bed, or perhaps in the garden and enjoy our fresh mountain air. A blue tooth speaker is provided, so bring your tunes along! The cottage does not have a television or wifi, but trust us, you will enjoy unplugging. Don't worry though, mobile coverage is pretty good, so you can stay connected if need be.
The cottage is located on a 4.5 acre property, which we live at full time (our home is 30 metres away). We do have three neighbours, each with differing sized properties. So while we are located in the middle of the Yarra State Forest, there are a few other properties around which share the lane way access. The picturesque town of Warburton has many cafes, specialty stores and walking tracks, it is easy to spend the whole day exploring. The Yarra River snakes through the town centre, and locals can be found swimming and relaxing at the river on hot sunny days. There are many festivals, markets and sporting events in Warburton, as well as throughout the Yarra Valley. The Valley also has an abundance of wonderful vineyards and renowned restauraunts, perfect for an indulgent weekend. Warburton is half an hour from Mt Donna Buang. In the winter, the mountain becomes a winter wonderland, where snow play and tobogganing can be enjoyed in the state forest. Warburton can be chilly, so make sure you bring warm clothes!
  • Beautiful, peaceful property. Lovely breakfast basket.

    Dave2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our two nights here: the serenity, cosy mudbrick and timber house, and the attention to details. Highly recommended😀

    Greg2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed at the Mudbrick Cottage for a peaceful, romantic retreat in nature and we were not disappointed. The Mudbrick Cottage was cozy with the pot belly fire (just right for a couple), bright because of the great windows looking out into the garden, almost everything locally and ethically sourced, and the place had heaps of thoughtful touches including a delicious breakfast and yummy freshly ground coffee, and hot water bottles in case it got cold! Victoria and Wayne left us to our own devices but were also super friendly and gave us helpful tips to make our stay that much more enjoyable. Lots of lovely walks around and the town and river are just a short drive away. Overall we had a really wonderful time and give the place 5 stars - we would certainly come again! Thanks Victoria and Wayne

  • Victoria & Wayne are the most lovely, genuine hosts we've stayed with. Set in a beautiful valley only a 5min drive to town was perfect for us to just relax in the wonderfully appointed mud brick cottage. Lots of homely and thoughtful touches throughout made the place. The bed was pleasantly firm and great to sleep on and the kitchen was well appointed for staying in for the night. The visiting chickens gave the place a real homestead vibe and the home laid eggs, were a magic touch. A must stay!

We love Warby & our home, it's so cosy & relaxed - such a great place to get away from it all. Set on a hillside, the balcony looks out onto a beautiful mountain landscape. The floor to ceiling windows let in so much light & being surrounded by lush forests you feel like you're floating amongst the canopies. The property has been renovated by our own fair hands (thank you YouTube!) and we now offer a chilled out home with a welcoming vibe! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a good sized kitchen and lounge. Being the Alpine region, it can get cold in winter but once you get the fire going it'll be lovely and toasty. There's also heaters in each of the bedrooms. For budding bakers and baristas out there, you have all the equipment you need, just bring ingredients! A very cosy home, to relax with friends and family in beautiful surroundings.
Peaceful location and at night the silence is golden. Away from all polution and on a clear evening the stars are spectacular! You can often see Venus and the milky way. If you come at full moon you're in for a treat!
  • Great location. Communicative host. The deck is very slippery so not very good if you are with crutches. Otherwise nice and cosy with good towels. :)

They leant us sauce for our bbq dinner, brought over a chicken for our son to have a pat and showed us around their property when we were exploring. • A lovely little cabin, just enough for my 6yo boy and I to stay the night. Would have loved to walk along the river but we had so much rain during our stay. However, listening to the rain in our cabin was quite relaxing and had its nostalgic charm. Jan baked us fresh bread for breakfast. Nothing beats fresh bread!! My son loved it and would have liked to stay another night. Thank you, Jan.

  • Our stay at Sharyns house was wonderful. Sharyn was a fantastic host, very friendly, relaxed and easygoing. Sharyns place is beautifully set in amongst a yard full of trees, and the setting of the front veranda overlooking the hills and countryside is so pretty, and was a great way to spend a relaxing New Years Eve with excellent takeaway pizzas. The house is very conveniently located, about a 3 minute drive to the Main Street of Warburton, and right near the main road, taking you to the various local attractions. That said, there is little to no traffic noise at the house. Rocky is a gorgeous fella, and was very relaxed and placid around our 2 pooches that stayed with us. I’d definitely recommend a stay with Sharyn.

    Arron2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoy Warborton, and definitely love staying at Sharyn's, this was our second time staying there, and definitely won't be our last. I trust warborton survives any bushfire and we wish both Sharyn and Rocky a happy healthy 2020.

    Shadi2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Sharyn’s home is lovely, comfortable and she is a most welcoming host. But the absolute best thing about staying at Sharyn’s is getting a massage from her. Definitely recommend booking in for one (or two!) with her during your stay. Also, Rocky is an adorable dog and I miss him already.

    Rebecca2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • We felt warm and welcomed, Sharyn is a great host, she is a creative person, you will enjoy her music, local knowledge, and have good chat. If you are a dog lover, you will find Rocky super friendly, quite and approachable. The accommodation was great, clean, there's also touch of history to the place. Breakfast was nice too. Amenities were clean and in order. The house location is breathe taking, we enjoyed dinner facing the hills. And the view of the Forrest. Overall, a pleasant peaceful stay, thanks Sharyn and Rocky.

    Shadi2019-04-07T00:00:00Z

  • Great place with amazing hosts! The Airbnb is very clean with a nice backyard view / porch - perfect for that morning coffee! If you’re lucky can you may catch a glimpse of the kangaroos!

    Simon2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Carol’s place is in a beautiful, private location and we were regularly able to see some beautiful birds and kookaburras. Their dog, Dino is lovely and friendly. Carol is very warm and will help you with anything you need. They respect your privacy and we didn’t see or hear them unless we wanted to talk to them.

    Gracie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Carol's place was comfortable, clean and peaceful! We enjoyed the view out into the backyard, and also the close proximity to Yarra Valley wineries and Healesville! Carol and Perry were friendly, helpful and only too happy to share their local knowledge on good eating spots in the area.

  • Such a beautiful little spot, perfect if you have a wedding at zonzo! So clean and very nice space, thank you! And two cute lil pups to play with!

    Georgia2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location. Three spacious bedrooms. Comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean . Great verandah to sit on and enjoy beautiful surroundings.

    Heather2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great part of Victoria to visit and the host went above and beyond at check in. Myself, my wife and a friend had travelled 2.5 hours and unfortunately on the way my wife had received news of a sick family members so had to race back home, leaving us without a vehicle. We told this story to cherlyn and she offered to drive us in to get pizza and a few drinks from Yarra Glen! Would’ve been a massive hassle without her as taxis were hard to come by over the weekend. The 2 border collies are absolute legends as well

    Lann2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Cheryln’s place is beautiful. The period features meld seamlessly with the beautifully modern bathroom and kitchen space. The bedrooms are enormous and it is really well appointed. It is a delightful place where you can appreciate the beauty of the surrounding landscape. We would definitely stay again, but for longer next time!

    Michelle2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and comfortable.

    Ian2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Cheryln’s place was just beautiful in the most perfect location. Super easy if you are visiting local wineries. Cheryln’s communication was easy and clear in the lead up to our stay. Lots of beautiful decorative touches, views and two very friendly dogs - felt like a home away from home! Would happily stay again! Thanks

This property is a mere 3 minutes up the hill from Warburton village but feels much more tucked away. There are two buildings here which were thoughtfully built to face in opposite directions for maximum privacy. Lots to see on the grounds including the creek and lush gardens. If you want to venture further on foot or by mountain bike you will find you are very near the 30 km long O'Shannassy Aqueduct trail and the Warburton trail which goes as far as Lilydale.
Warby-Sabi is a space intended as an inspirational haven, an idyllic place to relax and unwind in the peace and quiet with a spectacular natural environment. Guests can expect abundant bird life with the background sound of the property's own waterfall. It is for this reason, as well as for safety/liability reasons that only adults without children or pets may sojourn on the property's grounds.
The rainforest gallery and famous spring water spout of Mount Donna Buang, the Ada tree and the redwood forest. These are only a few of the natural wonders that make Warburton memorable.
  • If you are looking for a quiet magical romantic place surrounded by absolute nature while you have all the nice modern technology such as good WiFi, Sonos music system and a beamer then you’ll be in heaven in this little hidden secret retreat. You really see all the love for details in the setups. Michael and his Partner where great host’s.

  • Lovely space. Very fancy. But relaxed and comfortable

    Simon2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • Michael and Martin’s place is a beautiful space for a chilled couples weekend. The upstairs living area is stunning and really comfortable. The projector screen is great for curling up and watching movies (nice to have a guest Netflix account set up). The artwork on the walls is beautiful and the space is stylish and modern. Lots of thoughtful touches (lovely toiletries, wine and house-made chutney waiting for us). The garden is gorgeous and there’s a track down to the river (you can hear the river running from the bedroom - so relaxing). The guys were friendly and helpful but also respectful of our privacy. Totally recommend this place for anyone wanting to unwind in style.

  • This is the perfect getaway spot, a lot details will show how much thought has been put into the house - it’s truly stunning, you’ll feel immersed in the lush forest around you. Michael is also a very responsive and welcoming host!

  • This was a gorgeous and secluded home surrounded by nature, which made for a quiet and super relaxing stay. You can tell that lots of thought went into the design and function of this place. Michael was a great host. He was very helpful and easy to get in touch with. Warburton was a lovely little find, we would definitely stay again!

  • Everyone reading this review, don't hesitate, just book it! The property was stunning with so many comforts. I especially liked the comfy bed sheets, artwork, fireplace, the tranquil sense of sitting up in the trees, the beautiful wildlife and peaceful walk around the property. Thank you so much Michael for an unforgettable weekend. My partner and I had a super relaxing stay, our best airbnb experience to date!

    Teresa2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • The accommodation is lovely and clean with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The accommodation is on a beautiful property. Communication with owners was very good. If you have a large car, you may want to park your car on the road, rather than going down the driveway; getting down was ok but reversing the car to go back up was very tight. The Archibald Exhibition in Healesville, if it is still on, is worth the 30 minute drive. I highly recommend this accommodation.
