Nearby you will find beautiful nature (beach, dunes and forest), cycling and hiking trails, nice surrounding villages and the town of Alkmaar is 8 km away. There is plenty to do in Egmond itself. It has a lovely beach and a cozy center with a nonstop holiday feeling. In summer and winter! Upon arrival, you will receive a parking pass with which you can park free of charge.

This holiday house in the back of my garden offers the excellent retreat if you want to experience the beauty of the Dutch dunes and beaches and escape the hectic city life. The house is located in a quiet street, walking distance from the beach (10 min) . Egmond aan Zee is one of the most beautiful areas in The Netherlands only 30 minutes by train from Amsterdam (station Heiloo is 5 km from Egmond aan Zee). Excellent for hikes and cycling. There is a storage for the bikes with the house.

Schrijvershuisje/ holiday cottage "Little Hemingway" is ideal for the lazy reading holiday. Our cottage has plenty of books in the closet! There is also an opportunity to write. If you don't want all this, enjoy the peace, the sea and the dunes in our picturesque Egmond. Our cottage is small but very warm and cosy, and has a ditto sleeping loft. Three minutes walk from the beach. Note : from 1 July to 1 September, the cottage can only be booked per week, from Saturday to Friday/Sat.

Just north of the lighthouse, 100 m. from the beach and the dunes, is our cozy cottage for 1 - 3 people. The village center is about 300 meters away. When you come back from the beach, you can enjoy the sun on your own terrace. In the late and early season you can also come to us for a weekend, midweek or a few individual holidays. We only rent to tourists without babies. We do not rent to foreign employees/temporary agencies.
