There is a train station only 5 mins walk so if you fancy a day in London you can be there within the hour. The historical city of Canterbury is only a 25 minute drive.

Cosy and private set on the edge of a barley field the only sound is wind through the trees and birdsong. Heater and double glazing makes this ideal in winter or summer, and a chemical loo in the cabin at ground level adds a creature comfort. Built in the 1600s, Miller's Barn looks on to one of Kent's last working windmills. It's on the Minnis, where cattle and sheep graze. An idyllic and tranquil spot, 8 miles from the historic city of Canterbury. The Miller's Barn is only 500m from a great pub (with fabulous fish n' chips) and a very friendly, well stocked village shop which has everything you may need during your stay. The windmill is open every Sunday and bank holidays throughout the summer for guided tours and cream teas.

Swallow Lodge is situated in the countryside on a small yard in Ewell Minnis so plenty of horses! Car required. You may hear some noise in the morning but a peaceful, idillic spot. Plenty of parking, a patio, barbecue and outside seating in a small garden. A well behaved dog is welcome. There is a spa bath so you can create your own bathing experience with lighting, heating and plenty of bubbles and music if you wish. The single beds can be made into an emperor bed please ask if required.
