  • I did my 8 week clinical rotation at St.Marys Penn Highland and stayed here. The water is hot! You can boil a chicken with it! Nice for the winter haha. Daniel responded really fast and had great hospitality. Easy street parking. Cozy and warm apartment. Washer/dryer is free but shared with long-term tenants (who are very accommodating and communicates with you). The dryer broke during my stay and Daniel replaced in within 2 days! Good luck to the future students staying here for their upcoming rotations! It will be a nice stay! Check out Japan One for some of the best asian food in the area. See the elks at the Elk Visitor Center! Enjoy the scenic drives! People are extremely friendly here! Thanks Daniel for everything!

  • This was a very nice, roomy, second floor accommodation. It has everything you would need for a short or long stay. The kitchen has everything you would need. The bathroom is a bit on the small side, basically room for one, but nice. It's a nice walk to all of the small shops on Main Street.

    Erica2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, especially considering the price.

This is the perfect getaway from the crowds and covid-19. The house gets purified with ozone to kill viruses and germs. This beautiful log home has all the amenities of home, including A/C. It is very remote, surrounded by the Allegheny National Forest 50 feet from back deck: fish, hike, bike, canoe, swim, hunt! Cook's Forest and Elk Country are about a 45 minute drive. Pets are welcome! (There is a pet fee of $30 per pet that can be left on the kitchen table for Sherri.)
The log cabin is very remote, in the middle of the Allegheny National Forest on a gravel road. In addition to the 3 bedrooms, there are extra sleeping areas on a futon, a pullout couch and an air mattress can be put in the loft area. The 3rd bedroom bed is a double high, queen air mattress. I also allow pets, but charge $40 fee per pet per stay. Please let me know ahead of time if you are bringing a pet. There is a $15 fee per person per night over 2 people. The space is most comfortable with 6 people or less. I will consider one night stays on weeknights or weekends if requested within 3 days of the stay. Please don't drive on the grass. Thank you!
There are very few neighbors, but there is John across the road who is helpful and loves to talk! Otherwise we are far from civilization and the PA wilds are relatively pristine and quiet.
  • My parents and their puppy met my husband and I with our 2 dogs at Gail's, which is about half way between our homes in northwestern Ohio and Long Island, New York. We normally stay in hotels for these kinds of getaways, but this time chose to stay under one roof. Bear Creek Lodge was the perfect, low-tech, comfortable place for people and dogs alike. We absolutely loved our stay. 4 adults slept comfortably as well as 3 dogs in their crates. Not looking to explore the area this trip, we were happy to unplug--no cell service was welcomed-- except for a few hours of TV-- we played board games, cooked, and hiked, not too far from the property. We wanted for nothing when it came to cooking-- utensils, dishes, even spices. When our dogs' towels and travel cushions needed to be washed from use on the trip from our home , the machines in the basement were a welcome amenity. We can't wait to return and can't imagine any season when Gail and Bear Creek Lodge would disappoint anyone looking to unwind or be active in the outdoors. The nearby town is thriving complete with a few antique shops! We are already planning our next stay.

  • Gail's place is absolutely awesome. Great location. Clean, warm, cozy and very very comfortable. Fully supplied with everything you need. Can't wait to rent Gail's place again.

    Joyce2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Gail’s cabin in the Allegheny National Forest is well located, surrounded by the forest and a 15 minute drive to the charming little village of Ridgway where food and gas can be found. The cabin is spacious, has a deck with a propane barbecue grill and fire pit on the grounds. Direct TV and good WiFi are included. There is no cellular phone service at the cabin but Gail provides a landline for calls. She notified us that the cabin would be unlocked on our arrival so check in was simple. Gail also provided excellent directions to the lodging and her instructions are clearly listed. There is much to see and do in the surrounding area or you can just relax with nature all around........all in all, we so enjoyed our visit.

We offer a unique farmstay experience, hosting guests in a brand new fully furnished upstairs apartment over an alpaca barn. In addition to our huacaya alpaca herd, you will encounter chickens and 2 barn cats as well as wildlife sightings of deer, turkey, and maybe even elk or a black bear! Our goal is to provide you an off-the-grid, slow-down and relax experience while you enjoy the wonders of the Pennsylvania Wilds.
No internet, TV or cell phone service - this is your time to decompress! Roosters don't always sleep at night! In addition to farm noises, some farm smells are to be expected. The apartment does not have air conditioning, but two large ceiling fans and windows that open. If our schedules allow we enjoy showing you around the farm, walking an alpaca, visit our apple orchard, vegetable garden, beehives... Guests have raved over their star-watching experiences from the deck, comparable to their Dark Skies experience at Cherry Springs State Park. With advance notice bicycles are available for rental @ $10/day for use on the adjacent West Creek Rails to Trails.
We live on 34 acres, 7 miles from the nearest town in a very rural part of northcentral Pennsylvania along the West Creek Rails to Trails and the headwaters of the Susquehanna River. Generally quiet neighborhood with some rifle target practice or mowing noises on the weekends.
  • Great place to unwind and relax. There is no cell service (as stated) so make sure your plans involve unplugging from the world. The Alpaca's are awesome and farm fresh eggs in the morning, what a treat!

    Brian2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • The property was lovely and Robin was great! She took us on a tour of the grounds and gave us an overview of the area.

    Madeline2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location, amazing dark skies right from your balcony. It was amazing to see the alpacas eating right under our window in the morning. The pictures of the interior do not do the apartment justice, it is truly gorgeous and comfortable. Every utensil that you may need, but you may want to bring groceries with you. After you check-in, you won't want to leave. I wanted bread for an egg sandwich, and there was no way I was leaving. it was just too amazing. We will be back, especially in the spring when we are able to explore the trail and the property more!

    Marie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing mountain getaway with a farm fresh feel. Super clean living.

    Sawyer2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the Little Red Barn Farm was fantastic. The place is nice, clean and perfect for a couple of small family. We enjoyed lots of activities in the area. Robin was very nice and even let us meet the alpacas. We really enjoyed our stay.

  • If you are looking for an unplugged kinda getaway from all of the "noise" this is the perfect spot. Drove 6 hours to meet my sisters from Ohio here for a girls weekend. Had a blast and the stay had everything you needed to cook a meal and relax. Hosts were great and helpful. We wish we had more time with the animals. Would love to come here in the fall months.

    Kristi2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • This place was fantastic. It is cute and so clean. And we loved seeing the alpacas. Definitely a must-book for anyone looking for a place to stay in Emporium!

  • I stayed for a week in their place and was very happy. The hosts are so nice and considerate. It is nicely decorated and very clean. I would highly recommend staying here.

  • Staying at Don & Karen's was almost like being home. I will keep them in mind for my next trip to their area!!

    Stephanie2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We met with Don during check-in. Upon arrival his wife had homemade chocolate chip cookies waiting for us. Everything was clean and very comfortable. I would stay here again and most likely will.

    Anthony2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Excellant host's! Very accommodating! I can't praise them enough! Great place to stay and spotless! I wouldn't have felt cleaner in my own home!

    Craig2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay! The hosts couldn’t have been nicer, they even made us cookies! Very clean!

    Jason2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This home was great! I highly recommend for anyone with families and kids.

    Amanda/Rory2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying at Don and Karen's. Their hospitality is above and beyond -- there were fresh baked cookies when we arrived and Don even picked up a pizza for us. The place was clean and welcoming and the size is ideal -- our kids stayed in the trundle area and we were in the bedroom. It was a little warm at first but Don was very responsive in adjusting the temperature. And they gave the kids Santa hats on the way out. A really great stay!

    Tom2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Our family of 4 needed a place to sleep breaking up a 10 hour drive. Having older teens, staying in one hotel room is a bit much and getting 2 rooms is not in our budget. This basement apartment was the clear choice! It was beautifully decorated and had the amenities we needed including a separate bedroom with a queen bed for my husband and I, trundle bed for my daughters, a small kitchenette and large bathroom. We were welcomed with homemade cookies and Thanksgiving decorations that made our stay extra special. The location is about 20 minutes off of Interstate 80 so be aware of that, but it was easy to find. Also, you will hear an occasional dog bark or pitter patter of doggie feet above but nothing that would be considered excessive or keep you up at night. Our overall stay was delightful and the hosts are most gracious. A fantastic value.

  • Shelly's place is the perfect country getaway if you're looking to travel solo or in a group! To add to the fun, the beds are in the same space, so our group was able to harken back to high school slumber-party mode. Very fun! Shelly was very communicative and helpful, my only forewarning is if you're allergic to pets, as some in our group are, there is something in the house that might make you sneeze a few times. Would absolutely book here again!

This space is located inside of the luxurious Towers Victorian Inn Bed & Breakfast. It was originally the servants quarters for the household. It has 2 rooms, a private bath with a bathtub and shower, a hallway with cabinet space and a kitchenette area inset into one of the hallway cabinets. Kithenette has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot and dishware. The first room is a living room with a couch, two chairs and tv. The second room is the bedroom with a double sized bed.
Space is within walking distance of downtown shopping, eateries, and the local canoe livery. Space is within short driving distance to many local wineries, distilleries & breweries as well as a short distance from many hiking, biking & cross country skiing trails in the Allegheny National Forest.
We are located in a great neighborhood. Many old victorian homes are located here. Many single family homes with children. It is not uncommon to see groups of neighbor kids running around outside. It is a very family friendly neighboorhood.

  • Beautiful, Victorian bed-and-breakfast in historic Ridgway, PA. They don't build elegant inns like this anymore! The place was very spacious with a lounge area for reading, watching TV and relaxing after a day on the trails.

  • What a great place to stay in Ridgway, PA! We were able to tour the old Victorian home on our own and see the other bedrooms (the non-occupied ones). The wine, beer and snacks in the sitting room were a very nice touch. Randy, the property manager, was super friendly and made himself available for anything we needed. Five stars!

  • Great place to stay!!!

    Nancy2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Unfortunately Airbnb does not have an evaluation standard that allows you to tell a place like this: the accommodation offered by Christie and Chad goes well beyond 5 stars. The area is pleasant, relaxing and allows you to fully immerse yourself in nature. Accommodation is a small dream in which to feel at home from the first moment, every corner hides a pampering from its guests, it is an exceptional place and we hope to have the opportunity to return. Thanks again to the caring hosts.

  • Everything we were looking for and then some. The only thing we had to bring was food. Chad and Christie have truly thought of everything!

  • I was looking for a last minute stay north of Pittsburgh and was surprised that a place that looked that good in the photos was available on the same day. The entire place was so nice and clean. The owners were also very friendly and were available if needed. I would stay here again.

    Matt2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • If you have a reason to come to the area and need a place to stay, this should be your choice. The space was almost exactly what was advertised (it was actually even better than the pictures). The atmosphere and amenities made for such a relaxing, easy, cozy trip. The kitchen is well stocked with almost anything you might need for cooking. The bathroom is spa-like with a GREAT tub for soaking. The bedrooms are spacious yet cozy and warm, and the mattresses were very comfortable. On top of all of this, the place was spotless. If the space wasn't great enough, Chad and Christie we're always just a text away offering advice on what to do and where to eat/drink. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would absolutely recommend anyone else to do the same!

    Nicholas2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Christie and Chad have an AMAZING property! Just as it was listed, everything you need for a stay away from home and anything you needed they accommodated! The beds were so incredibly comfortable. We will definitely be back!

  • We had such a great time staying at the Riverside Lodge! The house was super clean and stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. Lots of extra towels and clean linens on the beds made it easier for us to travel there. The host was great and stopped over on the first night we were there just to check that we had everything we needed. They gave us some tips on local restaurants and attractions which was super helpful. The outdoor fire pit was perfectly situated right next to the river and it was so relaxing to sit and listen to the crackling fire and the water right next to us. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a quiet, calm retreat in the wilderness of PA!

  • Beautiful location right off the East Branch River and a few miles from East Branch Dam. A lot to do if you love the outdoors. If the weather isn’t cooperative the porch facing the river is very relaxing as well as the main living room area. Excellent place to stay

  • A small group of us stayed for a fishing trip/mini vacation. The house/lodge is location right on the East Branch of the Clarion River, which made it ideal for us. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and the living room made you feel like you were in a lodge out west or up north. Bedrooms were comfortable and having both a large porch and fire pit that overlooks the river were great. A perfect location for a medium or large group of people - we will certainly be back.

  • Came with a large group of guys wanting to have fun and go fishing. Our experience was great. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. There was more in the house than we expected. The place is huge and maze like, really cool. Beautiful trout stream touching the property. Up and down river both were great fishing. Caught lots of Brookies and browns. The locals were very friendly. Everyone waved as they drove past if you were on the river. We even took a small kayak trip from the dam right to the house. About a 40 min trip about 2 miles with very light white water. The river was moving relatively quickly. Could have went down river farther with a simple pickup but decided to stop there. There is also a beautiful bar right on the water within walking distance. Other than that not much around. Perfect. Exactly what we were hoping for.

  • I highly recommend this place for vacation. I stayed with my family and friends for a weekend at Ron’s place. The house was spacious plenty of space for our party of 14, great location right by the river and beautiful surrounding. Ron was easy to communicate with and very responsive to our needs; I highly recommend this property to other guests.

  • The room was super clean and spacious. A little on the cold side for my liking. The location was great! Located close to everything down town. We live in town, but wanted to experience the new hotel. The decor was fun and modern at the same time. The bathroom was very clean and modern, only complaint, is there was no shampoo or conditioner provided. Overall the experience was very nice and I would definitely recommend this hotel!

  • Joanie’s apartment was beautiful! A hidden gem in a Ridgway! Everything was even more than we expected! I highly recommend!!

    Molly2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • It was truly botique as it was described. Stylish, modern, and clean space in a historical little town. Very cute and comfortable. Highly recommended!

    Seon Jo2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • If you are visiting Ridgway, this is the place to stay. Joanie was very responsive and helpful. This little hotel is right downtown, walking distance to the shops, bakery, Elks club and funeral home. The whole place is sparkling clean and feels brand new. It does not feel “lived in,” like most Air BnBs. It’s definitely set up more like a hotel room, since there is no kitchen (just a fridge). Ridgway is a sleepy little town that hasn’t turned into a strip mall with all the familiar franchises (except the Subway and Dollar General). I typically stay in St. Mary’s, but this place was a great discovery. I would definitely recommend it.

    Julie2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at the Sleepy Man Hotel. The one of a kind playful animal paintings and beautiful furnishings made for a relaxing stay. We loved the keyless entry.

    Dan2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • I loved my stay at Sleepy Man. They did a really nice job with fixing up the place. The room was very stylish and extremely comfortable. It is so great to have a place like this when I’m visiting my little hometown. I can’t wait to bring my wife and kids next time.

  • All needs were met, hosts were accommodating to our groups needs, had a blast!

    Sam2019-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • I took a group of eight of my closest friends up to this cabin for a little birthday weekend getaway under the stars, and my group had a wonderful time that we wont forget anytime soon! This place is perfect for anyone who wants to take a step away from the city and into the quiet serenity of the Pennsylvania Wilds. While I'm a more outdoorsy adventurer myself, some of my guests were not, and this cabin allowed us to be immersed in nature while enjoying a fair amount of warmth, luxury, and comfort. The space was beautiful, well-stocked, and had plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was modern and had plenty of room for the entire crew to help out with cooking, the bedrooms were comfortable and clean, the couch and chairs in the living area were dangerously plush and perfect for lounging in front of the fire, and the outdoor spaces were amazing for stargazing (the hot tub was a group favorite) or enjoying your morning coffee. I have been asked by several of my guests if we can make this a yearly adventure since they enjoyed their stay so much, and quite frankly we might just have to!

Have you ever sought perfect balance? Close enough, but not far away... Rustic, yet modern... Cozy, but still spacious... A bit of peace in the mountains, but with the perfect proximity to town? The Elk Antler Inn is a new, fully-renovated cabin in Benezette that offers guests the feel of a rustic retreat along with the ease of close proximity to some of the town's best attractions.
Situated along highway 555, just on the outskirts of downtown, The Elk Antler Inn welcomes elk-watchers, families, happy (or unhappy) couples, hunters, fishermen, outdoor enthusiasts, wine connoisseurs, moonshine lovers, collectors of antiques, or anyone interested in what our beautiful area has to offer. The cabin has two wildlife-themed bedrooms, the "Bear Cave" and the "Deer Trail," each with a queen bed; there is also a sleeper sofa available in the living area for extra guests. For our culinarily-inclined guests we have installed a brand new, modern kitchen equipped with (hopefully) everything one would need! There is a full refrigerator and freezer, gas range, oven, and microwave and for the outdoor cook, a propane grill. All utensils, pots, pans, plates, serving dishes, slow cookers, blenders are provided so that all you need to bring is food and drink. The seating in the living room includes new Ashley Furniture, including a (sleeper) sofa, love-seat, and recliner; the centerpiece of the space is the beautiful propane fireplace, surrounded in cherry, which will not only contribute to the ambiance, but will also keep everyone warm and toasty (who would have thought building a fire would be this easy???). For those rainy days, Dish Network is available on the flat-screen television, which sits on top of a custom piece of furniture made from locally-sourced hickory and horse shoes. There is also WiFi available for those of us who need to be connected! The bathroom features a shower with a waterfall, spa-type shower head, a modern sink, and commode, with a beautiful cherry accent wall. The front porch is cozy and has seating for two while providing a view of the mountains, as well as a front-row seat to watch the activity at the Nuthatch Studio across the street, where local artists craft various pieces of art, including one-of-a-kind carvings from logs using various sized chainsaws. The more spacious back porch overlooks a fire pit area where guests can use the custom-built cooking surround to grill their favorite foods over the open fire or just relax and toast a marshmallow. Beyond the fire pit area is several acres of wooded land where the elk herd like to travel and the woodland birds flock, there is a swing fixed to the back deck that allows guests to sit back and watch our majestic wildlife move through their natural habitat. If you only can spend so much idle time watching wildlife, The Elk Antler Inn is also close (really close, in fact!) to local attractions. Moonshine? You can walk there. Cafes and restaurants? Less than one mile. The local winery? Less than one mile. The stunning Elk Country Visitor's Center? Well... 2 miles. There are PLENTY of other gift shops, antique shops, wineries, and restaurants within reasonable driving distance... just ask us for recommendations! If outdoor adventures are your thing, The Elk Antler Inn is close to hiking trails, equestrian trails, snowmobile trails, fishing spots, state game lands, kayak/canoe waters, scenic overlooks, and just plain gorgeous scenery. We have spent years hiking, fishing, and hunting the area and are more than willing to highlight maps, give directions, communicate experiences, and share the best of what we have been so blessed to experience here! We hope that we have created a space where people are eager to come and spend some time away from their routines. To bask in the glory of nature, to feel small next to the mountains, to feel a quickening of the pulse near wildlife, and a sense of peace hearing the rush of water. We sincerely hope that you will spend some time with us, just to spend your time being in our woods, experiencing our animals, and loving every second.
  • Great hosts. Cabin is very cozy. We enjoyed the fire pit. The location of the cabin is close to everything in town. You will not be sorry if you book this cabin.

  • Our stay was perfection! Excellent hosts, sparkling clean, luxurious amenities, thoughtful personal touches, pet friendly, great WiFi and signal at the cottage (there is NONE) anywhere else. I recommend grocery shopping ahead of time and cooking in the beautiful kitchen! Beds are very comfortable! Roku tv was a nice touch for tv time at night. Love the guest book to leave personal notes in. Can’t wait to go back!

  • This place was everything we wanted and more! The location is great, took us about 10 minutes (would've been less without the snow) to get into town. We weren't lucky enough to see any wildlife in the yard, but we loved sitting in the hot tub while enjoying great views of the valley. The only minor downside was the basement/ family room area is only accessible by a metal spiral staircase, so we weren't able to enjoy it due to our dog's capabilities. We would highly recommend this place to anyone and can't wait to come back again when the weather is nicer and we can fully appreciate the awesome deck and outside space!! Also of note, our hosts were very responsive and considerate of our questions!

    Brittany2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • WOW - this off the map cabin is a must visit if you're looking for some place clean, relaxing, with one of the most breathtaking views from a nice hot tub. The pictures dont do this place justice - its larger than pictured, meticulously clean with a fully equipped kitchen that allowed my family to cook meals as if we were home. Dennis was prompt and quick with responses and was available if I needed anything - check in and out was a breeze. This place is truly gorgeous, we will be back indefinately. This was my first experience with AirBnB and thanks to this host and his super beautiful home - I will continue to use this platform. The home was also pet and child friendly which was great convenience. Also we were left a tasty bottle of wine, plenty of supplies and there was a washer and dryer for use as well so thank you. Thank you from Toronto, Canada! We had a great New Years trip here.

This lovely home is a wonderful get away for families, couples, and groups. The home is close to many scenic attractions such as the Elk Country Visitor Center and Parker Dam State Park. The area is also home to local wineries and breweries. Just a short drive away are more quaint towns and attractions. You’ll love my place because of the beauty, peacefulness, and vintage feel. The yard is great for outdoor play for the kids. This is the place to go to get away from it all - a true respite!
This home is the oldest house in Force and was once the residence of the Force family. The main floor has a kitchen, pantry, living room, and side room. There is a door from the kitchen that leads to the front porch. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. Many of the furnishings are vintage which gives it a great vibe. (Please be respectful of their charm and age.) With old houses, heat is inconsistent, so the downstairs is warmer than the bedrooms, but a space heater is provided as well as comfy blankets. In the summer, fans are provided, window a/c units are in the master bedroom and living room, but there is no central a/c.
  • This home has tons of charm and is very comfortable - I felt right at home. It is conveniently located near Benezette and we saw wildlife everywhere. The fire pit in the back yard was a special treat.

    Cindy2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • There are decent pots, pans, and dishware. The Keurig added a nice touch for breakfast. A very nice host and beautiful vintage house.

    Luke2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful and elegant! Close to everything! The feeling of home when you walk in. This is our second year staying at the Force house and it never disappoints. Looking forward to next year. All you need is your clothes, food and yourself everything else is provided. Thanks!!!

  • Micha was wonderful host! We were so impressed with the special touches Micha included in the house- muffins on the table and K-cups for the Keurig. We greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to come again!

    Melissa2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • It is a lovely, charming, vintage home. Every aspect reminded me of going to my Grandparent's home. We loved the decor, the beautiful furniture, the inviting kitchen, porch and patio. All the amenities were wonderful. We had a fantastic time. A short and scenic drive to Benezette and other local attractions.

    Charles2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • This house is a vintage charmer. Lots of vintage furniture and great pictures. The host provided snacks and k cups for the Keurig . We had a great family weekend elk viewing and hanging out by the fire pit.

  • The cabin far exceeded our expectations. The entire home was immaculate and provided plenty of gathering and sleeping space for our large group. The kitchen was perfectly stocked for everything that could possibly be needed. Quiet, private location close to elk viewing areas and with beautiful woods for hiking.

  • Todd is a great host and responds very quickly. The Lodge was immaculate and updated. Having the outdoor space along with large indoor area was great for our family trip. Note that if any guests have mobility issues the beds and baths are not on the main floor. Would highly recommend this home and this host!!

Beautiful area with backyard stream to fish or go wading. See the elk wonder by. Enjoy Benezette!
We are renting the lower level of our house, a totally separate apartment. The top is for our personal use. We typically are not there when it is rented out.
small neighborhood, close to town, yet far enough away to be away from any traffic or crowds.
  • To be very satisfied.

    Richard2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is the best rental in Benezette! Far enough out of town to have privacy but close enough to walk to dinner or breakfast or to the winery. Delores’ Lodge is super clean and the yard is private with a lovely view. Would highly recommend staying there.

    Lorrie2019-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and as described. Very quiet and private for being so close to the center of town. The trailhead for a very good state land hiking trail can be walked to from the cabin. "The elk trail". While hiking this trail we saw deer, elk and coyote.

    John2019-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, we watched elk hang out in the backyard. First floor entrance with no steps and the double door was perfect for getting Mom inside with her wheelchair. Comfortable and well stocked with all the necessities too.

    Stacey2018-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • A little hard to find because my gps took us ip a school driveway, but a dtop at thr.local winery (yum!) gave us super easy directions , and we were at Mudcy Creek Elk Lodge within minutes It was Sparkling clean and ready to move in, perfect location! Has everything you need, except a deck of cards for down time. Loved it!

    Sandra2018-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • This was an amazing trip. The cabin was very clean and exactly as listed. The only thing I would suggest are a few more comfortable chairs around the fire pit. The benches were wobbly and didn't feel safe to sit on. The cabin itself was very well equipped and organized. The best thing about this place were the elk that came through the property every day. We even had three males sparring in front of our vehicles! This is an outstanding place to stay and watch the elk. We will definitely stay again!!

    Debra2018-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Dolores' place recently and her place had everything you could possibly need. Plenty of cookware and dishes, comfortable space, large bathroom, neatly decorated, clean and plenty of wood for a fire. Her house was located in a quiet area with just a couple other cabins near the creek and away from all the traffic and people but close to everything. We would stay there again. Thanks!!

    Beth2018-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • The place is very nice. It exceeded our expectations. It was very spacious and incrediablu clean. The yard was amazing, 8 elk in the yard one evening. Super close to everything. We would def stay again.

  • This is an older house, but is perfect for a short stay. Angelo has some food items and some necessaries stocked in the kitchen, bath, and bedrooms. The tv is large and very nice. The rooms were clean, plenty of towels prepped for us. The beds were clean and very comfortable, and smelled nice, and had quality sheets on them. If we ever get to Elk country again, we'll check with Angelo first.

    Jana2019-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Joanie's place was great, it was clean and just as described. It was perfect for our family trip of 4 adults. It was really nice having two separate rooms, each with their own queen size beds. There is some street noise, but it isn't anything that will keep you awake at night. The location was also convenient to visiting the Winslow Elk Viewing. It was an easy 30 min drive away.

    Cayla2019-09-22T00:00:00Z

  • What a wonderful stay! This is a gorgeous b & b with true attention to detail, beautiful furnishings, very comfortable linens, high ceilings, and a modern yet warm style. Our two bedroom suite was very spacious and bright as well as incredibly clean. The rooms and bathroom appear to be brand new and very up to date. Our host was very quick to respond to any questions and kindly agreed to extend our check out to accommodate our schedule. This is such a neat place and very centrally located on main st. We would love to come back someday!

  • Very nice place to stay. The host is very nice and helpful. He let us spend time and visit with him in the living room by the fireplace and even let us play the piano. Though we didn't take advantage of the offer he said we could cook some breakfast and use the fridge for food if we needed to. Though it was advertised as having one bed for two people, there was also a futon that another person could sleep on. We went to see elk nearby and this was the perfect place to stay to do so.

After finishing construction in 2017, we knew that we wanted to share our beautiful home with others! We built this master suite as an addition to the rest of the house with it's own private entry, bathroom, and large closet. You will find a comfortable king sized bed, couch/sofa bed, spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, and large closet with mini fridge/microwave in our little park-side paradise. Although private and separate from the rest of the house, we are close by for any guest needs.
The room is centrally located on a quiet street across from the town's playground, ball fields, and swimming pool. Within easy walking distance to grocery stores, fast food, and a biking/walking trail, we are sure that you will enjoy our downtown suite. Our house would be perfect for couples or small families who are coming to town for events or who are looking for a quiet small town get-away. Although not advertised yet, we also have additional bedrooms in the main part of the house that could be available as needed/on request.
This is small town USA! Our home is centrally located in the middle of town. Walking distance to playground, grocery store, food options, and biking trail. 20 min drive to shopping/restaurants/movie theater.
  • The accommodations we're much better than we expected! I thought I had just booked a room in someone's house, but there's a private entrance to the room which has it's own bathroom and kitchenette attached. The bathroom is really big with plenty of space and lots of toiletries and clean towels, and the kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, toaster oven and toaster as well as water and snacks. There was even a pack-and-play and high chair available! My husband, son and I stayed for one night for Groundhogs day and had a very relaxing stay with everything we could possibly need.

    Christina2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay! The room is beautiful and clean and has a little bit of everything you might need or crave!

  • Brockway Beauty is a very roomy, clean and comfy place to stay. Added extras are thoughtful snacks, breakfast items, bottled water, sodas, etc. There is ample parking and the considerate amenities make one feel at home. Thanks for a lovely stay.

  • It should be called Leslee's Resort. Room was beautifully decorated with a beach theme. Bed was super comfy. You just feel so relaxed staying there with total privacy. And when you feel like mingling, Leslee and every single person I've met in town are so friendly. I definitely recommend making this your next destination.

    Maria2019-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great great great place to stay I stayed with my hubby, a toddler and an infant, having no issue Everything was great, super clean, so many thoughtful items, lots of small snacks which was great for kids, big washroom , comfortable mattress HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

    Leila2019-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place is the perfect escape! The beach theme is very lovely and peaceful. I loved the private entrance and easy parking. I went and stayed here for Groundhog Day 2019, this location is roughly 45 mins away from Punxsutawney. It really did not seem that far of a drive at all, as it is a straight shot drive. Leslee is a gracious host. She offers a little snacks, toiletries, coffee and toaster ovens. Everything about the room is perfect! I do highly recommend to go and eat at Dr. Doolittles Roadside Cafe. It is a 15 min drive. This host Leslee and her lovely home are recommended to anyone who needs a peace of the beach and a quiet get away in a small beautiful town. Thank you Leslee for everything this past weekend.

    Angela2019-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • This is the second time I have stayed with Leslee and Larry. I booked this stay before I even checked out the first time! This is a wonderful place. My wife had a couple days off and I suggested she come along and just chill while I completed my assignment (I had raved about it since my last visit). This suite is as good a "getaway and chill" place as it is comfortable and convenient for a business traveler. The suite is very private, and the hosts are very friendly and responsive. The only thing I would change would be to have all my business trips take me to Brockway, PA!

    Kevin2018-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great B&B! Welcoming front porch and spacious rooms inside. New and spotless with all the amenities you could ask for. Comfortable king bed with pull out sofa bed. Large bathroom with double sinks and walk-in shower. No worries if you forgot some toiletries Leslee provided a container of toothpaste, toothbrush, mouth wash, dental floss, deodorant, cotton balls, hairspray, and more. The small kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and toaster oven. Bread, english muffins, cereal, and fruit are available for breakfast. The refrigerator was stocked with butter, milk, cream, water, orange juice, soda wine and beer. It’s a cute little town about a 45 minute drive to the Winslow Elk nature preserve.

  • Wonderful house with beautiful antiques. It was so cozy, quiet, and relaxing. Our host met us there and showed us around, he also had beverages and snacks available for us. We stayed in room #2, the bed and bathroom were perfect and we both got great sleep! We also liked that we had our own separate entrance from the outside. Another plus was the off street parking around back. We will definitely be visiting again in the near future!

  • You will find a lovely little town. If you’re a railfan, there are two old station houses to admire. If you’re lucky, you might see a train pass by. This Inn is 30 minutes from Benezett,so be sure you drive over and stare at some elk. They will stare right back. You will enjoy the Inn. The rooms are beautiful. The fireplaces are awesome. The water pressure for showers was epic. We will come back and stay here again.

  • We were traveling from Toronto to SE Pennsylvania, and had decided to book a night on the road, since we were unsure of the weather at the time we planned our trip. We've been through Ridgway many times and had never stayed overnight. This place is a gem, just off the main drag, but very quiet. The room was so lovely - Victorian furnishings, very comfortable bed and everything was sparkling clean. It exceeded our expectations! Having a place to make coffee and tea in the morning was a nice bonus. There was plenty of off-street parking available behind the Inn. We highly recommend this place and hope that we'll have the opportunity in the future to stay there again.

  • We had a great stay. Definitely a great value for the amount of space and the overall ambiance and elegance of the home.

  • The Victorian Inn is a fantastic place to stay. It's charm and beauty cannot be overstated. If you love antique homes, especially those that show the grander of those owners who had wealth, then you will not do much better than this. Our "apartment" had all the amenities that we could want - a large space with antique furniture, a wonderful antique bed that was comfy, a gas fireplace from the period, a large private bath which had the right mixture of the old and new, and a fully stocked kitchen. All private. Our unit also came with a private entrance and parking in the back. Though we never met Daniel, he answered all our questions quickly and his instructions were clear and accurate. You cannot do better for even twice the price. I definitely recommend the stay and hope to come for a longer period in the future.

  • it's a pretty place for an old school style. The direction of the place is a bit confusing but other than that it's perfect.

  • Very clean, spacious room. Modern, but still has the charm of an old bank building. Will be sure to visit again once the brewery downstairs opens.

  • Joanie's place is amazing and beautiful, but Joanie herself is such an amazing host. She literally went beyond the second mile for us and reached out to help us in ways that were far beyond our expectations. She was gracious, patient, understanding, and helpful even when it was not necessary. A great place to stay, and a great super host to work with.
