Nicolette has received us at the appointed time, gave us a tour through the house and tips for the area. The beds were made, there was a bottle of wine and delicious chocolates, nice bunch of flowers on the table. Beautiful house in a nice neighborhood. Wonderful beds, slept well. The next day, only really looked at what was going on outside the house, we arrived in the dark. Very nice if the fireplace with the gypsy wagon, large trampoline and horses in the pasture. Certainly in the spring / summer worthwhile to spend once a week with a large family. Nicolette thanks for the hospitality.

a beautiful, spacious house with all the facilities you need to unwind. There is plenty of space, so even if you are with a big grope, there is everywhere a spot here where you can relax. Although the master bathroom looks dated; the shower is wonderful! Comfy beds and fine cuisine. Now comes a new (larger) refrigerator with freezer in time so you can buy more food for multiple days for large groups.

it was honor to stay there as a first visitor. The house is located in quiet field with animals surrounded. Very child friendly. We went with a baby and a child, and didn't expect they prepared baby-bed and baby chair. They have outside playground, 2kids played and had fun there!

Beste reizigers: als je met z'n tweetjes bent, of eventueel met een kind, ga dan naar Annegret en haar man op de boerderij in Laar. Je zit vlak bij de grens ( 2 kilometer), ze spreken er platdeutsch, oftewel Drents en je hebt een eigen appartement met alles erop en eraan. Het uitzicht is op de buren met hun kinderboerderij, dus je hoort en ziet paarden, een koe, schapen en kippen. Tegen de avond springen er wilde konijntjes in het rond en als je goed naar de sparren kijkt, ontdek je eekhoorntjes. Rond de boerderij zie je ook een grote vijver met koi karpers en de kinderen kunnen spelen op toestellen. Wat slapen betreft is het op een bedbank en als je dat wil een opvouwbaar bed, beide zijn wat aan de harde kant, maar als je wil krijg je een extra matrasje en dan slaap je heerlijk! Het is makkelijk te onderhouden, je krijgt alles wat je nodig hebt erbij en ze zijn zeer vriendelijk. Er is ook uitgebreid materiaal in het appartement over de uitstapjes en de omgeving, vaak in Duits en Nederlands. Coevorden en Emmen zijn aanraders, maar ook de kleine plaatsen, uiteraard ook in Duitsland! hebben leuke kleine musea en noem maar op. Boodschappen kun je in Laar zelf halen of in Coevorden ( 6 km) of in Emlichheim ( 10 km) en ook benzine ( gemiddeld 20 cent goedkoper dan in Nederland.) Ga naar het Hunnebedcentrum in Borger, en/of Ellert en Brammert in Schoonoord en je weet alles over het leven in Drenthe van het Neoliticum t/m de vorige eeuw. Heel leuk voor alle leeftijden!

We have our stay at the Borgh perceived as particularly pleasant. The atmosphere in the house is very good and the owners have thought of every possible way with us. We stayed here one night the three of us, including our two year old son. The landlord has made a special breakfast for him, with a real chocolate cream-cakes-fruit skewer! The house is very spacious, all facilities, it really is like coming home, but with a holiday feeling. We would recommend this place to anyone and look back on a very nice stay.

Excellent and warm welcome in a beautiful house in the countryside just across the German border. The house (we stayed at The Borgh II) is fully equipped, is very spacious and has good beds. In the morning in the sun enjoying a hearty breakfast was a nice end to our trip!

We have had two wonderful days in Laar. The hospitality was heartwarming. The B & B is located in a quiet place and with good weather, we can enjoy a beautiful setting sun. The trips to zoo Wildlands and the Treetop walk is doable.

Wonderful days had during my two day stay. Landlords had contact very friendly and super good. The house was decorated super clean and cozy. Everything we needed was provided at a hairdryer after. Was likely to get it if we had just taken the trouble to ask for it, but we were too lazy for that :) Furthermore, the owner even helped us get a cable of our rice cooker, we had taken the wrong ... Super nice people!

Last weekend had an excellent stay at 'White Stolp' Bentheim. Everything was fine. Comfortable room, good bed, a nice breakfast and very clean. In all it was beyond good. Also a lovely bathroom with rain shower. We can fine cycling and hiking here is beautiful and nice and quiet. We have enjoyed so Hanneke can all say I find your B & B top! I hereby commend you.

Hanneke made us very welcome on arrival, it was great to sit and chat for a short while before being shown around. The accomodation is as described, very clean, homely and comfortable. Set in a rural area it is within easy walking distance to the village. Nice and quiet with lots of space around the home gives a really peaceful atmosphere. Hanneke is very easy and interesting to talk to. We would certainly return should we have the opportunity to do so sometime in the future.

The hostess was really great has really done everything that one feels she was VERY NICE and was communicative. The atmosphere was just awesome seemed idyllic and full of harmony, I am sure that I will stay there again a room. Price / performance ratio unbeatable.

We had a lovely time at Marianne's place, which was just perfect. In fact, all I can say is that everything was perfect! It has a very cosy "farmhouse" feel but there is nothing shabby about it at all, and it's lovely and warm too (no cold and draughty bathroom here!). It's obvious that Marianne knows her hotel business (she's retired from a lifetime in hotels in Switzerland, no less) - absolutely everything you need is there and super-clean too. The huge breakfast was laid out beautifully. We slept very well in silence and darkness on very comfy beds. Can't recommend it highly enough. Thanks for a lovely stay, Marianne.

Een heerlijke plek om rustig te werken! Mooie mix van authentieke elementen met hedendaags comfort. Fatsoenlijke badkamer en zowel op de begane grond als op de eerste verdieping een toilet. Er is aan alles gedacht waaronder suggesties voor wandelroutes en restaurants. De slaapkamers zijn door het schuine dak een beetje benauwd maar verder prima, het is tenslotte geen hotel!

We have two nights sleep in the bus Jan camping abroad. It really is to stay in the orange van an experience (it was for our kids!). Jan puts'm ready at a selected site, a carpet lays down and puts a nice colored seat ready. There is a music system in cozy lights and a mini kitchen, we have t had much to our liking !!

Willy and Bert are very friendly and welcoming. The B & B is in a nice, quiet area. Beds were excellent. Very good care of breakfast. We felt at home here.

Lovely stay with very friendly hostess & lord for whom nothing is too much, in a beautifully restored farmhouse. Heartwarming welcome, beautiful room with a perfect bed, and both inside and outside a nice sitting area in a tranquil setting surrounded by nature. A surprisingly rich breakfast, all equally fresh in the cozy kitchen. Great service for a very reasonable price!

Upon arrival I was welcomed with tea and cakes. I felt right at home. Also, I could continue to have dinner which I found very easy the first day after a long journey. All amenities above were present in the guesthouse (and would be provided otherwise). Every morning I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and was pleasant contact with Bert and Willy. The environment invites you to come here more often. All in all, highly recommended!

Manuel was a really good host! His fast response made it easy to communicate and gave us the change to have a nice (short) holiday. Before we arrived we had a nice dinner at a place he recommended and we enjoyed the neighborhood by doing a 5 km walking trail in Eulsen. Our intention was to discover the neighborhood of Wilsum the next day, but unfortunately it was a bit rainy, but we will come back to check that out:) The room is really nice and clean and comfortable, the breakfast was good! Thanks a lot!
