  • Great location! Seeing Blue Jays and deer right outside made the experience a real treat. We came to ski at Sugarloaf and Sherri's place is a short drive away!

    Charlotte2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Easy to find cabin tucked away in beautiful surroundings. We loved watching the deer each morning, and that the kitchen had plenty of space with everything we needed. Hot tub was wonderful, and there were nice big towels to use afterwards. Cabin is very clean and cozy, and location was perfect for us as we spent our days at Sugarloaf and evenings in Stratton and Eustis. Thank you Sherri, we look forward to returning!!

    Jess2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay -- cozy accommodations, conveniently located near snowmobile trails, delicious prime rib at Trail's End, and catching lots of salmon on Chain of Ponds. Can't forget watching the deer come right up in the yard and relaxing in the hot tub at night! We'll definitely return again.

    Victoria2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Sherri's a great host, helpful and prompt with anything you need to make your stay more enjoyable. It's obvious that she has put a lot of thought into the layout and amenities at Cozy Cabin, top to bottom.

    Daniel2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome cabin. Hot tub is private and clean. And the deer really do come up the driveway at night and in the mornings! Plenty of towels and kitchen ware made the stay that much easier!

    Delia2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • This house is beautiful. We loved feeding the deer and seeing them each day. We had everything we needed for amenities. The hot tub was nice to come back to after a day of riding. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back.

    Jeff2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, highly recommend! Snowmobile trails right from the house, the hot tub was so relaxing and watching the deer as we ate breakfast was so cool! The steakhouse down the road had delicious food and great entertainment, all around an awesome trip!

    Courtney2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay! From the easy location for snowmobiling, to enjoying the hot tub, feeding the deer and watching them eat as we drank our morning coffee, to driving only a few miles down the road to the amazing steak house trails end! (Sherri left a $20 gift card and it was so yummy and a great atmosphere!) The house was very clean, had plenty of cooking utensils, a TV in every room and well decorated! We will be back for sure!

  • I loved Sterling's place. It was so cozy and also easy to get to. I loved having our own little cabin that you can walk out and enjoy the beautiful scenery which you can also see all outside from inside the cabin. There's a nice deck area right out front. It would be an amazing place to watch the snow fall. Super close to Sugarloaf! There's trees all around the cabin and you can look and see nice views from every corner. The fireplace kept the whole place warm and is of course easy to operate via thermoastat. It had everything I needed! Samson and I would love to come back.

  • Great place to stay close to Sugarloaf and summer hiking destinations! Sandy's cottage is located right on 27 just a few minutes north of Stratton main street, and a quick 12 minute drive to Sugarloaf in the winter. The space was really comfortable, cozy couches and good beds, plus a really nicely done kitchen with all the basics. My group was very happy with our weekend stay here and will definitely stay again in the future.

    Kate2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great getaway if you're heading to the mountain! The cottage is a nice space, clean & comfortable, and very quiet.

    Kristina2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • It's a great place to stay for skiing at Sugarloaf. The cabin is clean, and well stocked in the kitchen. It was easy to communicate with Sandra. The open plan kitchen/living area was wonderful for cooking super and relaxing after a hard day on the slopes. Very good value, and not far from the hill, a much cheaper way to ski than staying slopeside, and an easy trip in and out each day.

    Allison2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Sandra’s place was perfect for our trip to Maine. It was sparkling clean, she responded to any questions we had within a timely manner and it was in a great location. We will definitely be returning in the future.

    Courtney2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Spent 4 nice relaxing days at the Eustis cottage. It is a perfect dog friendly ski retreat. We also took a day off from skiing and enjoyed some winter hiking around the area. Sandra is a great host, kind, and prompt with replies. She also offered us a discount on our meal at Tea Pod Lodge and cabins which was a great treat. We hope to visit again in the future.

    Christopher2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • As soon as you open the door, cabin atmosphere makes you want to settle in. Only thing missing is a fireplace. This is a cozy little gem to spend a couple of days or a week. Look forward to going back next year for the Sugarloaf marathon and hopefully the weather will co-operate to allow us to check out some of the local hiking trails and paddle the lake. Everything you need is provided in a cozy little cabin atmosphere. Great selection of food and drink available and a little store 2 miles away. Thanks for a great getaway weekend!

    David And Shannon2019-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the cabin. Very nice place, very clean with good location. Great for our motorcycle trip stay. The local area has all that you will need for your stay (supplies and food/drink) hope to stay again.

The camp is located in a small wooded community of seasonal and some year round occupants.
  • Expect an absolutely wonderful experience with Karen and this special place! Super attentive hosts and small details were thought of that made our stay just lovely. There were puppy treats and two little bowls for our dogs. Having little things available when you are away from home is so helpful. You're going to love your stay here! Only 5-10 minutes to Sugarloaf - such a nice quiet spot.

  • Broken Ski Cabin is perfectly situated for those who want to hike, ski or just plain explore the area. We couldn’t believe we found such a great place so close to where we wanted to be. The cabin contained all sorts of amenities that I made us feel right at home, including a fridge stocked with milk, orange juice, English muffins, butter, eggs and local beer! There was also tea and coffee. The hot water was a perfect temperature (boy that shower was exquisite after a day on the trail!), there were plenty of games in the event of a rainy day, great lighting for reading and looking at maps, excellent wifi, camp chairs for enjoying the porch and an overall feeling that everything was thoroughly checked, cleaned and cared for between guests. Truly a world-class rental surrounded by the most amazing natural beauty.

    Janet2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Karen was fantastic! My husband, baby, dog, and I stayed for a weekend. Karen provided a pack n play which made preparation on our end much more easy. Some breakfast items were also provided which turned out to be very useful. The cabin was just what our little family needed. My dog enjoyed the dirt road and large field located a short walk up the road from the cabin. My husband and I dined at a lovely casual fine dining restaurant a short 3 minute drive away. You’re tucked away, but close to hiking, biking, restaurants, and general stores!

    Amanda2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is a terrific cabin, very private, rustic feeling yet with all the amenities you might want. We cooked all our meals and had every essential, enjoyed the local beer Karen left for us, and slept toasty warm at night under the heavy bedding. Close to everything we wanted to do. We look forward to coming back again.

  • Tom & Christine's is in a beautiful location, and is great for larger groups. Two living rooms, a big kitchen, and a cozy bunkroom make it ideal. It is clean, and is well stocked with anything you could need. We had a blast - thank you Tom & Christine!

    Lydia2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed at Tom and Christine's for a ski weekend and couldn't be happier with the experience. Their lakeside home is a quick 15 minute drive from Sugarloaf with a view that rivals any rental in the area. The fully stocked kitchen, multiple living rooms, large master bedroom made our stay comfortable and was definitely appreciated after a long day of skiing. We're already looking forward to staying with Tom and Christine on any other future trips (winter or summer) to the area.

  • Excellent home, great experience

    Liam2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • We (two families) had a wonderful thanksgiving gathering and skiing holidays in Tom and Christine's house . The beatiful house is perfectly located with great lake view , during our stay all of them- the lake surrounded by pines, the yard with dogwoods and other beautiful trees-were covered by white snow quilt. So peaceful . My little son rolled a snowball which is the biggest ever . All of us had such a nice memory and we are discussing now to come back for next gathering in summer for trail hiking and koyaking :-) Thanks Tom and Christine for offering us the wondering house and keep it in well situation with so many convenient utensils.

    Shirley2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect in every way. Many extras not anticipated. The master bedroom was fabulous! Everything we could want was there! Loved it!!!

  • Great place to get away and relax, right on a gorgeous lake with stunning views. Would highly recommend and will return in the future for more great weekends.

A serene spot where you can unplug and get some R&R. From the screened in porch you can look out onto the pristine river as you sip your morning coffee. Quiet place to read or play games. A great four season location for swimming, fishing, canoeing/kayaking. Skiing, groomed snowmobile trails or ride atv's. Fall is great for bird hunting and white tail deer. Got a moose license? Zone 7/8 border. There is something for everyone

  • Cathy's place was great! The cabin is very cute and perfect for a ski trip with friends. It housed the 9 of us just fine. We would definitely consider staying here again!

    Logan2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and his friends stayed here for a short snowmobiling trip. They thought the place was beautiful and would definitely go back. Cathy was fantastic to communicate with and was very accommodating since they did not arrive until late and then allowed them to leave their truck parked past checkout so that they could go for another ride that day. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

    Miranda2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. My group went skiing at Sugarloaf and it was a great location and had everything we could have asked for. It was a beautiful house on a beautiful piece of land. Also, I can not stress enough how responsive and genuinely nice Cathy, Dorice and Jamie were. I would rate our experience a 10/10.

    Matthew2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great host! Very responsive and accommodating!!! The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, warm and cozy. I would love to go back another time! Kathy

  • Such a nice place!

    Dave2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great family friendly space in a beautiful area of the state. The house had everything we needed, including space! We visited in winter and the pellet stove was easy to operate and kept us plenty warm. Seems like it would be an ideal place to visit in summer as well!

    Patrick2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • I found this place to be very clean, comfortable, and perfectly sized for our group of nine. The location was conveniently located about 25 minutes from Sugarloaf Ski Resort on main roads, but still tucked away in the woods enough to give you that remote Maine cabin feeling with a gorgeous view of a small river from the back porch. The bathrooms were spotless with plenty of towels and hot water for our large group. Cathy left a helpful house manual with all the information we needed to answer any questions about the house. We are looking forward to staying here again one day.

    Christopher2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is the place to go for a great weekend away in Maine! The camp is on a fantastic piece of land and the accommodations are nothing short of extraordinary I can’t recommend this place enough!

Super cute, quiet & cozy 4-season rental. Technically in Coplin Plt, we are on the Eustis-Stratton line. Escape the hustle & bustle of the mountain & relax here after a day of skiing! 10 miles north of Sugarloaf for golf or skiing, 20 miles from Rangeley/Rangeley Lake/Saddleback, minutes from the Flagstaff Lake boat launch and Cathedral Pines Campground where there is a public beach, half hour to the Canadian border. Access to ATV trails directly from the yard for 4-wheelers or snowmobiles.
We LOVE our place and so will you! Recently renovated we have on demand hot water, an efficient monitor heater that keeps the house nice and warm, an open layout so you don't feel cramped, and comfy beds. **Queen bed is in loft area with steep, shallow stairs. Not for small children or people who have trouble using stairs. There is a gate in the closet at the bottom of the stairs to use when small children are present. Please note this is an owner occupied vacation home with year-round resident neighbors! You will see some of our own belongings, and there are likely condiments and misc supplies that have been left to keep at "camp". Renters are welcome to use these things...we just request that if you finish something replace if possible, and treat our home as you would treat your own. The neighbors will appreciate the same. Thank you for looking and please don't hesitate to contact us with questions or to reserve your time here.
Eustis-Stratton is an amazing area to visit! There is so much to do between staying in town to going to Sugarloaf, Rangeley & beyond. Winter brings skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling; Spring/Summer/Fall are great for enjoying the scenery, hiking the various trails and mountains, visiting Flagstaff and surrounding Lakes for swimming/canoeing/kayaking/boating, enjoying the fall foliage, and much more! Go to Youtube and search "Take a trip north of Sugarloaf on the High Peaks Scenic byway" for a neat video of places to visit and things to do year-round!
  • Robyn was very quick to respond. Easy check in, 16 minutes to the base of Sugar Loaf. Cozy and clean!

    Lauren2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice house in good locations. It took us 10 minutes to get to the slopes of Sugarloaf. It was so much nicer to have privacy of the house compared to staying on a busy mountain.

    Jaroslav2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderfully cozy spot to get away and relax. The place is exactly as described and depicted. It is clean, warm, just a really nice open space to spend some quiet time with family.

    Mark2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • I was in town for the Sugarloaf Marathon so it was nice having an entire place to myself. Robyn's place is so cute and cozy. It was very quiet, peaceful, and was the perfect place to relax leading up to my marathon. Directions to the cabin and check-in were very easy to follow. Robyn was prompt in replying when I had a question regarding the heater. The place is very well kept and very clean. I enjoyed the use of the full kitchen too since many of the restaurants didn't fit my dietary needs and some places close early. The wi-fi was spotty though, and I kept losing connection, but other than that everything else was absolutely perfect. If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely stay here, and I highly recommend Robyn's place for others who are passing through/visiting the area.

    Jaclyn2019-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Cute place 10 minutes from Sugarloaf. Nice being able to walk to places to eat from the house. Be warned that the upstairs bedroom is up a very steep and narrow staircase that is not for the faint of heart. Very comfortable little place!

    Elena2019-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I made the trip to ME for a ski vacation at Sugarloaf. Robyn’s place was perfect! It was very clean, comfortable, and super close to the mountain. We would highly recommend her place to anyone looking to explore the Sugarloaf area!

    Rachael2019-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing weekend at Robyn’s place. Location was excellent, 10 or so minutes from sugarloaf. Place was cozy and clean and had everything we needed. Would def stay again on our next sugarloaf trip

  • Excellent good size camper with the joy of being connected to septic and water. Hey, if you've ever stayed in a camper and took the "quick" shower, you know what I mean. This one is great. Plenty of beds and a comfortable environment. Randy is right across the lawn if you need anything, but that distance is also a good amount so you have privacy as well. We 3 guys had a great stay and I would do it again. Thanks.

    Randy2019-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location! Rental was just as advertised! Randy was so attentive and friendly! The only bad thing was that our long weekend went by way too fast. Nature and scenic views at its finest! We plan to be repeat customers. Thank you for making our family weekend getaway perfect! Krissy~

  • I can not say enough good things about our stay at Randy and Dana's! Seriously, such a beautiful property and unbelievable hospitality & kindness. When we arrived Randy was there to greet us, get us familiar with the RV and offer any further assistance we may need. Also, there was a vase full of fresh cut beautiful flowers❤ We will be going back again, soon!

  • This was by far the best stay I have ever had. Randy was so kind and took extra care to help with everything we could have needed. He gave so many local tips and went above and beyond what was expected of him. I will most definately be back and will be suggesting this to as many people as possible!

Cozy home in the western Maine mountains. Close to Rangeley (30 minutes), Sugarloaf (40 minutes), hiking, hunting and snowmobile trails. Enjoy exclusive access, including permission to hunt, hike, snowshoe, and cross country ski, to over 600 acres of land and trails at Riverweb as part of your stay. Our property is very close to regional snowmobile trails that are part of the Maine Snowmobile Association. We welcome dogs! Our pasture-raised beef and pork is available for sale during your stay.
I think this home is really cute and special. It has lots of light and great views. Being close to both Rangeley and Sugarloaf is ideal for 4 seasons of fun. What really makes this home unique is the access it provides you to Riverweb's 600 acres of forests, fields, ponds and rivers. There is outdoor space for you and your dogs: a picnic table, a fire pit with a swivel grill (please bring your own wood), and a dog run.
This is a very rural part of the world. I think it's stunningly beautiful every day.

  • We were a group of six students from boston and after a long drive coming to a place like this was just unbelievable. Secluded midst nature the place was well maintained with all facilities. The view to which we woke up will be left in our minds forever. Will surely be back to this place again

  • Great place for a peaceful weekend retreat. The place is well and intentionally designed. Well furnished kitchen with great cookware. Not too far from great slopes and trails for skiers. The hosts were friendly and responded quickly. Roads around the property are pretty rough. Bring a vehicle with good suspension, the higher off the ground the better. 4WD in winter

    Steven2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Jos’s place was beyond our expectations. Large clean space with every amenity you’ll possibly need. It is a great place for those looking to enjoy nature or sight seeing in beautiful Maine. **snowmobilers take note** There is no trail access from this property. The nearest trail is 1.3 miles down a paved road. Trailering and find a spot to park/unload daily is the best option.

  • This is our second year staying here. The house is cozy and unique, and the setting is spectacular. Jos and Larissa are very good hosts.

About 1.8 miles from town. Very private yard, yet not far to all shops and Supermarket On Scenic Route 4, You can walk or bike the road to town and not be eaten by a bear :-) It's 1 mile to the market and Rangeley Fitness & Health center. Nights are quiet with an incredible amount of star gazing and the Milky Way.
  • I'm glad I stayed at Lisa & Jonathan's place. There aren't many lodging options in rural areas of ME. What I most appreciated about L&J's amenities was being able to use their kitchen and how clean the place is. I want to echo what Lisa told me, if you don't have 4x4/awd, (while I'm not Nostradamus) you will have a hell of a challenge to make it up her long hilly driveway when it's snowy/ icy in a front-wheel drive car - so please don't arrive at L&J's in a Prius in the middle of winter.

    Richard2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa is great and the place is so nice. The views are unreal! Easy drive to Sugarloaf as well!

    Josh2020-01-17T00:00:00Z

    Daniel2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa and Jonathan were welcoming from the first moment, friendly but also clear that they understand about guests’ privacy. The 180degree views of Rangeley Lake from high up on the hill were jaw-dropping. You could watch the sunset AND the full harvest moon set right over the lake in front of you. And the resident eagle soaring over autumn foliage in the middle of the view was amazing. Lisa took special interest in making suggestions for what to do, she actually seemed to enjoy answering our questions! House was spotless. The mattress on our bed was wonderfully comfortable. And all for a reasonable price. Lisa takes her job as a host seriously, a real pro!

  • Lisa is so kind!! She gave us some helpful tips/suggestions on local food & routes to take. The home is absolutely beautiful and the view is incredible

  • My stay with Lisa was exactly what AirBnB should be: Lisa made me feel at home from the first moment to the last. Her home is spectacular and the space is vast and very comfy. She was friendly and we had a great conversation, watched a movie together and she even made sure I had decaf coffee in the machine...

Slope-side condo on quiet, family road. Newly refurbished throughout in 2019. Ski in and 2 minute walk across road to ski to chair. Shuttle service available. On the cross-country/hiking/mountain biking trails.
On Mountain, family friendly, quiet neighborhood. A short 5-minute walk to Sugarloaf village.
  • Great trail side location, newly redone, clean, great hosts, accurate photos.

    Hannah2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great for a small family looking to hit the slopes! Extremely clean, with lots of nice touches - loads of coffee, toothbrushes & soap (unused of course), paper towels, toilet paper, soft fresh towels, dish soap, dish washer detergent...oh and a washer & dryer with laundry detergent provided! I am used to places where we have to bring these things, so it was really nice that they were all provided. All we needed to bring was our ski gear! Beds were extremely comfy too. But the best part is the location! It’s just a 1 min walk from the condo to the traverse that you can ski down to the Whiffletree Lift (we were there in February so there was plenty of snow for us to do this). Gene was a great host! Very responsive. We will be staying here again for sure! Thank you Gene! We had a great February break!

    Emily2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Nice two bedroom condo. Excellent kitchen, wireless? And location. 4 minute walk to all slopes. Great value

    Michael2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great condo, with relatively easy ski-in/ski-out.

    Chris2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was immaculate, the kitchen was well stocked and it is just a short walk from the slopes. We look forward to returning in the future!

    Wendy2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Gene is excellent at communicating with you. The condo is a great location-ski off for breaks and lunch. Just a short walk to ski on across the road. Very clean and just a nice little space. Would definitely recommend this to others.

    Julia2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Gene's place is in a great location, it's spacious, clean and comforting to come back to after a long day on the slopes. The condo is a seven minute downhill walk to the lifts. The way back would be an uphill walk, a shuttle ride, or a ski in from the stubs trail. Would definitely book again!

This is not your average bed and breakfast experience at our "yurt and breakfast". If you're not familiar with what yurts are all about, do a quick search to see what you've been missing out on! We offer a unique experience in the mountains-- offering cozy accommodations and a home cooked breakfast, in the perfect location for all the outdoor activities you can dream of. You will have easy access to miles of mountain bike trails, as well as 10 of Maine's 4,000ft mountain peaks. These adventures (and more) are as close as 2 miles from your very own yurt. If you only have time for a short stay, or outdoor adventures aren’t your cup of tea, we have many cozy amenities for a comfortable stay. Our yurt features a brand new Tuft&Needle mattress for snoozing through the breezy Maine afternoons. Just outside the yurt you’ll find a shady outdoor porch swing and scenic overlook. Or, have a game night and take advantage of our board game nook and cornhole set.
We are located in a very quiet area off of Rt 27 in Kingfield.
  • Amazing yurt and airbnb overall! The yurt was cool, stylish and very cozy. Skylight was lovely and clean...great for stargazing. Bed was very comfortable. Electric heater worked great! Very nice little touches like games, local info, tea/coffee and snacks. Breakfest was amazing. Patty and Greg were so nice and welcoming. I would highly recommended to any couple. Would love to come back!

The location is perfect for outdoor activities and lots to choose from. Patty and Greg were full of information and suggestions on things to do in the area. Wonderful hosts and a delicious breakfast of whatever you desired with a nice view of the mountain right in the kitchen window. We enjoyed getting to know them and hiking in the area. Cabin #5 is a cozy getaway located on the beautiful Rangeley Lake. Guests have direct access to the lake via 100 meter walk to the dock. You will be a less than 5 minute drive to a bustling main street with great local shops and eateries.
This is a quaint one room cabin that overlooks Rangeley Lake. I would consider it luxuriously primitive. It has running water, electricity, and wifi. A trip to the lake provides time for reflection or adventure.
Cabin #5 is part of a seven cabin community called The Terraces. Many other cabins get rented but mostly are weekend getaways for their owners. The community is quiet and asks that guests keep a respectable volume as well. There are 3 docks that are shared by The Terraces and guests are welcome to enjoy the use of the docks. The cabin is located only a few miles away from downtown Rangeley. If you are looking for good BBQ head the The Shed, it is at the far end of Main Street. Looking for finer dinning? Check out Forks in the Air Bistro (one of my favorites) There are plenty of shops along Main St. don't forget to check out Gifford's of Maine ice cream, served at Pine Tree Frosty. Main Street even has a local movie theater, artisan coffee, and an outdoor gear store.
  • Cozy little cabin with expansive views of Rangeley Lake (the fall foliage was amazing!). Very clean and welcoming, well-appointed and comfortable. Great communication from the hosts and the folks in neighboring cabins were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely visit again.

    Rebekah2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing place. The cabin is compact and we were there at the end of the season so it got chilly overnight but toasty warm with the sun shining in and the heater on. The location is second to none. We were only there for 2 nights but it was great and we would recommend it.

    Lynne2019-10-06T00:00:00Z

    Chris2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was just exactly as described, and it was everything me and my husband needed for our anniversary! Gorgeous view of the lake, cozy cabin, beautiful surroundings, we got to stay by the fire at night, did a little hike up the waterfalls which starts only 4 minutes away from the cabin, went to the cool bowling alley in town, which is only 8 min away. Great spot in any way! Thank you!

  • What a place! Ideal for writers and nature lovers in search of beauty and solitude. Communication was a breeze, the town was full of kind humans willing to share their stories and the cabin was unforgettable. Such a special space, I will be back!

Come and play in the beautiful mountains of western Maine! Cozy cabin for two perfect for a quiet getaway. Direct access to ATV trails and miles and miles of exploring the outdoors on nostalgic paths used long ago by the railroad. If you decide to venture away from the cabin by car, Rangeley and Sugarloaf USA are both 35 miles away & the college town of Farmington is just 15 minutes south. We know you'll fall in love with the quiet pace of Freeman Township, Maine.
This is a very rural area. There is a small convenience store a few miles down the road, but grocery shopping and restaurants are just a quick 15 minutes away.
  • Cozy little cabin in a beautiful part of the Maine wilderness. Near a cabin and right off a snowmobile trail. Elizabeth is responsive and the place was very clean and nicely appointed for a rural getaway weekend.

Large Open Studio apartment with its own full bath , less than 5 miles from Sugarloaf Mountain Ski and Golf Resort and Carrabassett Mountain Biking Trails. Comfortable and cozy on the first floor of our home, separate from our space. Perfect for two or a couple with one child. 1 Queen ,1 twin. It is equipped with a mini kitchen including sink, fridge, microwave , ,toaster oven , electric tea kettle with pour over coffee and a crock pot. Sitting area for two and TV with DVD ROKU , WIFI.
Shared mudroom with plenty of room for outside clothing.. Parking just outside the door. 9 minutes to Sugarloaf Ski resort parking areas. 5 minutes to Stratton Brook Trailhead and awesome mountain biking. . , Golf and Disc golf ,Less than 10 minutes to the town of Stratton , with restaurants , grocery store, pizza and gas..Less than 12 minutes to Carrabassett Valley Outdoor Center with bike and ski Trails and Bike rentals .8 minutes to the Anti-Gravity Center.
Wyman Township is in unorganized territory located just north of Carrabassett Valley via route 27 , the Carrabassett Road.It is very close to the Appalachian Trail and the Bigelow Preserve. My favorite restaurant is 4 miles up the road , the Coplin House and Tiger Lily Bar. It is the best in the area. Just tried Backstrap Grill in Stratton and that is excellent as well. Grocery shopping in Stratton just another mile or two north is much more affordable than those close to the resort.Cell phone service can be spotty , it is mountainous and beautiful. You must follow directions , or use GPS coordinates with google maps to find the house. The door is around the side from where you drive in and we try and leave a light on for you.
  • Clean studio, that had a lot more space than I expected. 5 minute drive to the mountain and the hosts were very accommodating. Will be checking back for availability for the next Sugarloaf trip!

  • The place was a perfect studio type apartment very close the the mountain.

  • I spent two nights here with my 13 year old son while skiing Sugarloaf. It was perfect. As described, it's a single large room with large bathroom; the kitchen is limited, so don't plan any meals that require cooking (but the Backstrap Grill is nearby and was great). Gas stove adds some heat and helps dry out boots. Highly recommend.

  • This studio was perfect for our romantic snowshoe and Nordic ski weekend. We had great meals at the Looney Moose in Stratton, and restaurants in the Sugarloaf complex, outdoor fun at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center, and cozy relaxing evenings in at the studio. The location was great to get to all these locations!

Riverside condo minutes to Sugarloaf! One-bedroom condo just a few miles from Sugarloaf and the Outdoor Center. Just steps from trails for hiking, mountain biking, and skiing. Look out over the river while you grill on the back patio and enjoy a Maine beer! Also next to a popular restaurant and bar. One note- the cell reception in Carrabassett Valley is not good. That makes it a great place to get away from it all, but not a good place if you need to make important phone calls!!
  • We were headed up north to enjoy a weekend of skiing at Sugarloaf. The location was great and just 10 minutes away. Easy access to the mountain just turning right out of the driveway and left onto the access road. Aubreys place was easy to access, clean and comfortable. She even left a surprise for us when we got there. This place was perfect for us to ski all day, come back take a quick nap and be ready for dinner and some drinks after. Aubrey directed us to some local establishments that were pleasant and had amazing food. We really liked The Rack BBQ.

  • It was very comfortable, everything I needed and easy proximity to the mountain.

  • The condo is in a great spot to access Sugarloaf and the surrounding restaurants and activities. It was very clean, cozy, and perfect to come back to after long days of skiing. Audrey was a very thoughtful host, as well. We had a really lovely weekend in Carrabassett Valley

  • Audrey's place was exactly as described. Really great and easy location for skiing at Sugarloaf and enjoying the Xcountry and hiking Trails. A real bonus to be next to the great restaurant Tufulios. The condo is simply and nicely furnished and sparkling clean. It was quiet and cozy and warm and plenty of space for two people. Check-in and check-out are super easy, and Audrey responded almost instantly whenever I had a question. Great value. We'll come again.

  • Audrey was quick to respond to all of my texts and messages. She had thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome. The location of her apt is perfect for all year around. We stayed here in the winter and it was about 15 mins away from sugarloaf skiing. We also got our skis tuned up at Happy Tunes which is across the parking lot. I suggest bringing food since Audrey has a full kitchen with a large fridge. She also has an awesome grill. The set up was cozy and warm. I highly recommend her place and having Audrey as a host.
