The Cottage at Gilbert Landing

This cozy 1955 Sears & Roebuck kit house has been brought back to life! We vaulted ceilings and removed walls, but kept the original footprint. It is just the right size for a getaway for 2 or 4 with 1 private bedroom and a sleeping loft. It has all the modern conveniences and is nestled at Gilbert Landing, 1 mile from downtown and 15 min to TIEC. We are dog-friendly, with host approval. There is a $95 pet fee for one dog. No dogs under 1 year. Additional pet & cleaning fees longer stays.

Recently remodeled brick ranch with everything on one level. Pet friendly with a large fenced-in backyard. The house is centrally located in Forest City, where hiking and many outdoor activities are accessible. There's a city park across the treeline in front of the house which has tons of space, places to walk your dog, run the track, play/watch baseball, frisbee or take kids to the playground. There's enough to do if seclusion is your goal or plenty of things to venture out and experience.

Beautiful small home designed after many trips to Italy! Located in a peaceful neighborhood tucked in a wooded area. It has all the amenities you need to feel at home. The cabin is in the gated Riverbend community on a quiet wooded lot and is very cozy and comfortable inside and out. It is perfect for a couple's getaway from the city, while only 10-12 minutes from the charming town of Lake Lure and scenic Chimney Rock. Wildlife abounds in the area. Inside are all the comforts of home including a new Sealy king memory foam mattress. We clean it ourselves and are taking extra time and care now to sanitize all surfaces between bookings.
