We'd like to give big Thank You to Nina and her family for the wonderful Easter weekend hosting! Everyone was happy including our two playful dogs. The cabin is located in the quiet field which can be easily reached by car with navigation. The cabin is nicely built with the aroma of wood filled up in the room; it is compact yet so well-equipped that offers all the necessities. We had absolutely quiet and deep sleep in the comfortable bed. The breakfast as a nice surprise was more than luxurious and delicious. For anyone wishing for runaway from hassle bustle city life or being tired of concrete buildings, this place is the best choice!

Absolutely perfect cabin in a lovely place. They also pointed us to a lovely village where to have lunch.

You will not age if you live such a calming place. They are nice people as well.

Wow, Wow, Wow! This place is seriously a dream. A wonderful place to let your thoughts travel and to get a break from your daily life and city. The cottage is made with passion - everything you need is there. Super cozy bed with perfect light (in a former sauna - still used so in winter), nice shower and toilet (outside - very romantic!), great living room with super cozy oven (even possible to cook!) and breathtaking surrounding! Waking up to birds singing, only seing forest and horses is incredibly beautiful. Nina and her husband did everything in their power to accomplish that. Such friendly and heartwarming people! Nina brought us an amazing breakfast every morning, with fresh ingredients and home-made products. Including home-made herbal teas and fresh coffee. Spend our days with beautiful walks in the surrounded forests and many hours of relaxing in this beautiful house. Can highly recommend it!

Where do I start?, this place is stunning! Secluded but close enough to the main house for anything you need.... Nina and Erwin were brilliant, we were picked up from the train station, and taken to the local supermarket to stock up. we were brought an amazing breakfast every morning straight to our cabin door with fresh soft boiled eggs, warm fresh bread, ham, cheese and a pot of tea! It was delicious. We were also given a gift of a bottle of their homemade liquer and because the shops were shut over Xmas, Nina was concerned we may be hungry and brought us over some bread, pasta and antipasti! The cabin has everything you need, kettle, cooking hob, fridge, you can also cook on top of the wood burner. (with a great supply of logs) We went on fabulous walks and you can also hire e-bikes for €5 a day which are perfect for visiting local small towns, easily cycling up and down hills through the mountains. Gfohl was particularly lovely with 3 bars (maybe more) and a really nice restaurant. I would highly recommended this romantic getaway!

This romantic getaway offers everything you would expect from your nature holiday in the woods. The cottage is very clean, super-cosy and features modern sanitary facilities. When entering the traditional hut, you are welcomed by a lovely scent of wood, a warm fireplace and two cute dogs that like to sit on the terrace outside ;) The breakfast is regional and organic and is prepared with love. The surrounding area offers woods, bicycle trails and traditional restaurants to explore. Five stars from us!

Nina was a great host and we really enjoyed our time there. There is a lot of castles around and lovely nature. Its situated in peace and quiete place. So relaxing to have a Ninas delicious breakfeast on the terrace with a view of forest. The house was clean and great furnished. Nina was very helpful with tips for trips around. The place was easy to find and Nina was ready to guide us.

Constanze and her husband have made us feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. They took a lot of time to show us the house and gave us tips for activities in the area. The house is very big while still being cozy and decorated with good taste. Before our arrival we spoke several times with Constanze to get some detailed information. She also organized a high chair for our children which was much appreciated. The area around the house is beautiful and very calm. We fantastic stay and would recommend the house to others.

Wonderful, huge house in a beautiful and peaceful location 15 mins from the Danube and an hour from Vienna. We felt very much at home, and Constanze did everything to make sure we had what we needed. The house was very well equipped and we felt at home there. The house has plenty of spacious rooms with high ceilings and even a small brook outside. The house was perfect for our party of four adults and four kids aged 1 to 5. Lots of rooms to explore and play in and plenty of room outside to enjoy. The house would also be ideal for an even larger group of people. Highly recommended - if we return to Wachau we will be staying here again.

Everything were supper. The house and the neighbourhood was fantastic. The house is very big with big places. We were feeling very well. Constanze is a very kind and helpful entertainer. She come for the accomodation, when we arrived and helped everything, but after this we can be alone fortunatelly. She answer rapid and adequately.

The house is amazing for getting away from it all. The surroundings are beautiful. It's a little hard to find a food store, but in the end it isn't too far away and once you know where to go, it's easy to get too. There's everything you could need, pots, pans, plates, etc. There's a tv with cable and ports for electronic btw. We had an amazingly awesome and fun time there. I highly suggest this place. Again, perfect for getting away. Loved it.

Die Unterkunft entsprach absolut meine Erwartungen bzw. wurden sie übertroffen. Constanze hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns erklärt wo alles zu finden ist. Basics wie Kaffee, Tee, Marmeladen sind vorhanden genauso wie Bettwäsche & Handtücher. Es war eine tolle Zeit und wir kommen bestimmt wieder einmal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

It was absolutely one of the best airbnb experiences I had. Mathias, gabi and little Laura were extremely nice, welcoming and helping. Mathias and Gabi were very quick to respond and are great people. The accommodations are the best I have experienced with Airbnb. You have a whole place to yourself with a kitchen, patio, full kitchen/fridge and a huge bathroom! Your place is the bottom floor with a private entry. Vineyards are in the back yard if you want to take a stroll and the place is a 10 min walk from the center which has a lot of cool places to eat and drink. I was there specifically for vine and the location is perfect. Cheers!

We had a fantastic stay in Gabi's beautiful apartment. Spacious and modern, there is still a wonderful feeling of comfort. We only had two days to explore the area, but the location is ideal for both the Kremstal and Wachau wine regions. Our only complaint is that we didn't choose to stay longer!!

Gab is a nice host. However, we are very hesitate to recommend this place due to a few issues encountered during our stay. First of all, we expected an entire home/apt based on the description. But it is only a first floor guest unit shared with the host living upstairs. We would not have picked it if we knew this ahead of time. Hot water ran out for me half way through shower at night and the same happened to my wife the next morning (Gabi did mention there was intermittent issues with the water heater during check-in). Heater in the guest unit could not be controlled independently by us (had to message Gabi to turn it up). Washer and dryer are not in the guest unit and we were told there were problems with the washer.

The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos. The center of Langenlois is about a 20-minute walk away, but having a car is definitely recommended. The place is modern and spacious, but keep in mind there is no living room; however, the large kitchen has a dining area. Also, if you're lucky enough to have good weather, you can enjoy the lovely terrace and garden. The surroundings are extremely peaceful and there are picturesque sights nearby.

Very comfortable spacious apartment in quiet village setting within 1 hour drive of Vienna. This apartment had by far the best equipped kitchen we have come across so far on our travels - thanks also to the hosts for a delicious assortment of local produce :)

Roswitha, was an amazing host. We actually never met in person but she prepared everything in advance for my stay at her comfortable house. The friendly neighbor gave me the keys and gave me a tour and whenever I had questions either Roswitha or the neighbor were very helpful and quick to answer. The house itself was clean and beautifully decorated. I felt at home right away. I recommended the place to friends already and looking forward to stay there again myself sometime soon. Roswitha and her family were very welcome even before we arrived at the house. Any time I had a question, Roswitha was always there to answer me, keeping in regular contact. The house was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you could think of. The whole house was cosy and warm and very comfortable. We highly recommend this house if you are looking for somewhere to stay as you have the best of the beautiful town with the Danube and the countryside right on your doorstep.

My husband and i and our 1 year old baby girl stayed for 4 night at roswitha house. What a beautifull location, the house was just perfect and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable as well. The bedroom had a window to a beautifull field. we never had the chance to meet roswitha face to face but she was available for every question we had. We had a fabulous stay at Roswitha's house in a gorgeous village just outside Krems. We loved the house, it was a good size for our family of 4, well equipped with everything you need, contemporary in design and had spectacular views of the countryside. Certainly a favourite Airbnb stay for us.

Oh, what a nice place!!! We were here in February 2016 and it was like new: brillliantly clean and in perfect shape with all of the more-than-modern conveniences, the most well-appointed place we've been in in a year and a half of traveling. At the far north border of Krems an der Donau, the townhouse is out of the maelstrom and very quiet, surrounded by beautiful stretches of vineyards and rolling hills to the distant mountains. And for history buffs, the townhouse is only a few hundred yards from Beethoven's brother's house (where Ludwig lived for a short time), and the site of Stalag 17 (now a vinyard). There is a nice market with produce and much of what we needed only a couple blocks away and a wonderful restaurant, Gasthaus Walzer, nearby, run by the loveliest people—wild boar cordon bleu—fabulous. The internet was terrific. We did find we needed to rent a car, but there is a city bus that stops about 1.5 blocks away and takes you right down to the Krems train station where the beautiful Austrian train takes you straight to Vienna—nice ride. Krems is a wonderful town with so much to see and enjoy, and the surrounding Wachau Valley and beyond is breath-taking. Our hostess, Roswitha was absolutely delightful, extremely responsive, and ever so patient with our interminable ignorance. We also had wonderful neighbors who were more than kind and helpful. For us, it became a paradigm of the type of place we'd like to retire to. We truly enjoyed our stay here and can't recommend it enough.

The stay was PERFECT! The host was incredibly organised and the communication was seamless. The house was super clean and had everything you could possibly need. The pictures online are very accurate- there was plenty of space for all of us (12 stk). The service was incredibly professional, we received plenty of information about the surroundings (wonderfully organised) and also about the house itself- top notch! We could not have chosen a better place to spend our weekend-we definately need to come back! Thank you!

War ein supertolles Wochenende. Beschreibung stimmt zu 100% überein. Von der Ausstattung her ist alles da was man braucht (Geschirr, Putzmittel, Bettwäsche, Heimkinoanlage, Tagesdecken, Saunatücher,...) Beide Häuser waren total sauber und gepflegt. Die Sauna und das Aussenbecken auch wunderbar. Möglichkeiten zum Grillen und Lagerfeuer wurden von uns genutzt, war absolut gemütlich. Stephanus Domanig was sehrsehr freundlich und wir haben uns gleich total wohl gefühlt. Schlüsselübergabe hat auch wunderbar geklappt. Die Gillausklause ist für junge Gruppen (11 Personen, zw. 20 und 30 Jahren) wie wir es waren zum Entspannen, Spass haben, Beisammen sein und Feiern super geeignet. Aber empfehle es auch für Familien oder Seminare da das Areal sehr groß ist und es viele Möglichkeiten gibt zum Zurückziehen, Wandern oder Beisammen sein. Wir wollen unbedingt wieder hin!

The huge terrace felt like a real treat when the weather was sunny, and Krems was a short and picturesque walk downhill. Communication with Valeria was great, and she even left me a beer and chocolate as a welcome, what more could you ask for?

Clean and well equipped. Large shower, comfortable big bed, huge quiet sunny private terrace with barbecue right on the slope with natural stone walls. Is located outside of Krems / Stein, one of the most picturesque wine-growing village, at the end of a valley, the road to the house is exhausting sometimes steep and for cyclists. All in all a very nice accommodation for those in need peace

Valeria is a love and great hostess. We felt in their property well and can highly recommend. Krems is a beautiful little town and the area offers many outdoor activities such as hiking course (ruins in Dürnstein is worth it! The effort). Located next to Valeria property starts a forest with many trails. Love you for everything, Valeria!

Johanna greeted us in a warm and friendly manner, she was very gracious and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was spotless, nicely decorated and very well equipped. This is a great location, walking distance to the charming village of Durnstein.

We had a wonderful stay! We booked 2 nights before and after our wedding which we were celebrating at Dürnstein. Franz is a great host. His mother met and greated us on arrival and was very helpful. The apartment is very nice and cosy and welcoming and it is in a great location for those who want to visit this beautiful village of Dürnstein and surroundings. They also kindly offered us to use their private parking space - which is an important addition for the place where driving and parking is only allowed to residents and is very-very limited.

We had a great stay at Franz's place ("Gästehaus Johanna") in Dürnstein. We could choose our arrival time very flesibly and were introduced kindly (parking possibilities, eating venues,...) The apartment is situated just outside the city walls alongside the trail to the old famous castle ruins. The apartment is spacious and tidy, the kitchen is fully equipped (including filter coffee machine ;)) Depending on the season you will probably hear some tourists (groups) on their way up to the old castle, but certainly less than in the city centre. Overall we enjoyed the stay there and would recommend it to everyone!

The House is under the castle where the " Lion hearted Richard" was held as an hostages. It was a surprise , I didn't knew the castle was that castle. The flat was clean, the owner was kind and helpful. We had a wonderful time there!

Jane and Flo are two lovely host, everything was perfect for us, the room and the appartment were very clean and cosy, the place is well located (less than 10 minutes walking to reach the city center or the train station). Der Aufenthalt bei Juliane war grundsätzlich super gut, Lage ideal zw. City und IMC gelegen, Bett war aber leider sehr schlecht und die Wände sehr dünn... sonst wirklich toll, sogar eigene Cafémaschine im Zimmer!

This apartment is very charming and comfortable- situated in the most beautiful town in the Wachau! The hosts were very kind and helpful, while ensuring our privacy. There's a bakery around the corner and a pastry shop in front- you're surrounded by ambiance and delicious food. It's worth the climb to go see the church from which the town got it's name. You'll also get a panoramic view of the Danube. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We have had a marvellous stay in an historic ground floor apartment with very friendly and very helpful hosts. The main hallway with stairs to the hosts flat separates the kitchen/ lounge area from the bedroom and bathroom. But what a hallway, ancient flagstones and wooden beams, solid grand doors and Christine's sculptures all photo worthy. The rooms are beautifully designed; simple, elegant features and very spacious. Comfortable beds and lots of spare towels etc. Strong hot shower. 50 metres from the Danube with safe swimming area, sandy and tree shade surrounds.....used this alot after sightseeing. Also the BEST cake shop we found all fortnight barely 20m from apartment! We were also told about it by every Austrian we met from quite far (URL HIDDEN) not just our opinion. Finally, Wim and Christine helped us to really get around, sample the best wines and took us out walking and sampling, and were an interesting, knowledgeable and fun loving couple.

This was a great place to stay. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice and spacious. Everything was updated and it was fun to get to know the owners. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

The Wachau in golden October - a dream. And then the great apartment: a perfect getaway for the soul! The Bath House of the 1315's high quality and stylishly restored. Room, bathroom and kitchen are very tastefully decorated. Christine is a pleasant hostess: helpful with questions and otherwise you can be completely for themselves. One hears nothing from the apartment above. In particular, I was also the stone sculptures of Christine! The situation in Weisskirchen is central and sufficiently far from the main road, so it is very quiet - a wonderful night's sleep! Weisskirchen is an ideal starting point to explore the cultural highlights of the Wachau to explore. In addition, you can really great hike, for example, the World Heritage Trail to Spitz or Dürnstein. Gladly again when I need a break from everyday life!

A beautiful home in a gorgeous village. The hosts were excellent and the accommodation had everything we needed. The bed was especially comfortable and the big bathroom felt very luxurious.

We've had a very good time in Weissenkirchen. The apartment was spacious, clean and well situated in the middle of lovely Weissenkirchen. The Danube (and ferry) are within a few 100 meters and It' s easy to rent bikes from there and cycle along the Danube (to Melk or Krems). Christine was very helpful and gave us tips to get the most out of our stay.

We highly recommend this place for its luxurious, comfortable interior, sophisticated equipment and the fantastic view. Check-in was easy and prompt and the communication friendly and easy. Parking is directly in front of the house and the city center is in walking distance. The city of Krems and the Wachau are full of beautiful spots. The maps and guides available in the apartment are very helpful to plan sightseeing and to select restaurants. Thanks Cornelia for a wonderful stay!

Highly recommend! I really enjoy staying in Cornelia's apartment. Apartment is situated in a very nice place on the hill, with beautiful panorama. Apartment is very modern, extremely well equipped. Cornelia's place is very stylish, spotlessly clean and super comfortable. As she was away we were picked up at the station by friends of Cornelia - this was great because we had luggage with us. It was a very easy smooth process. The apartment is so lovely - really spacious, well-equipped, and with a nice outdoor terrace with vineyard views. It is about 10mins walk from the town center and is in a nice part of town. The place was very quiet and restful, with good beds and great shower and bath. The Internet was excellent. I highly recommend a stay here and would love to return.

Perfect experience from beginning to end. Our complex travel plans had us change our date/time arrival and our host remained very flexible. The flat is situated on a quaint village hill top in an apartment building that could easily win design awards. The space is very comfortable and the view is stunning. All the neighbors were so kind, wanting to engage but yet remaining discreet. The Krems city center is a throw stone away where we found lovely eating spots. We will come again!

Check in was very easy, we were met by owner who took the time to show us around the apartment and to show us how everything worked. Cornelia's apartment is simply great; the best one we have found in the Valley Wachau (and we've been visiting Krems every year for 5 years already); very comfortable, clean, fully furnished. Location: near by city center, but in cosy and quite environment. Communication with the host very fast and easy. Strongly recommended.
