Property is located on 36 acres, owner lives on site in a separate house with her 3 dogs, 1 exceptionally lazy cat and 4 rogue chickens (they may all come visit you!). Grounds have ancient apple trees, loads of perennial gardens with more in progress, berries and an organic vegetable garden that we would love to share from if desired. The woods are beautiful and peaceful and the pond is just down a gorgeous mossy path. Great for couples or a weekend away. Large deck with grill and outdoor shower, firepit. There is a dock on the pond for swimming, fishing, or just enjoying the view as well as a canoe and 2 kayaks, and a paddle board!

The cottage is a rustic little haven that was saved from demolition, and updated with a brand new bathroom, a cute little kitchen with a dishwasher, with two heat pumps to keep the space cozy and three homey comfortable bedrooms, a large yard with a picnic table, very quiet retreat.

This refurbished old shed is now a private open room with exposed beams and dry kitchen. A composting toilet is in the barn, there is no shower. There is a patio behind this room and parking to the side. There are no shared spaces in this combination of shabby-chic and rustic areas. There are views of lovely woods and grass outside the large windows. Electricity, a microwave, gravity-fed water/sink, wifi, and a keycode entry are provided.This is a glamping-style situation.

This location was absolutely stunning! Brad was incredibly accommodating and even ran over with a high chair after our check out because we had two families with young children. The yard was cute and we loved playing outdoor games in the communal grass area right by the house. The house was very cozy and the perfect space for our families. I wish we stayed longer!

We love staying here, it’s our second time and we look to stay here more in the future! The place has a lot of space, both indoor and out. It’s also a great work environment when we are both on Zoom calls and the kids are watching TV. We love sitting on the front porch at sunset and watching the sun go down over the mountains over the lake.

The nook is a beautiful and cozy place to explore this part of Maine! Kate was an INCREDIBLY responsive and generous host, even replying to a message I sent late at night with the best northern lights viewing location I’ve ever seen. Norway and Brighton are great surrounding towns and the lakes in Harrison are beautiful spots for a swim. Everything was wonderful!

Jeffrey’s place was perfect for our family. The home is peacefully secluded in the woods. It was immaculate and set up with everything we needed, including a welcome bottle of wine and a bag of local coffee! We really appreciated the baby gear too, a pack and play and high chair. We would absolutely love to stay again!

A group of nine moms enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the A frame. There was space for all of us to gather inside and out. The beds were super comfortable and linens were high quality. This house was very thoughtfully designed, decorated, and stocked. We all took pictures for inspiration for our own homes. Many people commented it was the nicest airbnb they have ever stayed in, and I would agree.
