The cabin in Åsen

Small cottage with charm on Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk uphill from the parking lot. Here there is a simple life without electricity and water. The way up is a nice ride, a bit heavy for some lots. Recommend to go up before dark. Remember good shoes and warm clothes. On top of that, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in the kitchen, sofa bed in the living room. Distance to Sun seats with marked runs is 1 km. Golsfjellet is a mile away. Beautifully situated log cabin 10 minutes by car from the centre of Lillehammer. There are a number of nice hiking trails near the cottage. A short distance to the Birkebeineren ski stadium which has a large network of ski slopes. 15 minutes drive to Nordseter and about 20 minutes drive to Sjusjøen with great ski slopes. Hoppbakken is only a 3 minute drive from the cabin. For alpine skiing you have Hafjell which is 25 minutes away and Kvitfjell 1 hour away.

Cosy little cabin

The cabin is very small, but quite comfortable. (Around 10 kvm) The bathroom is separate. Rustic interior. Most suitable for couples and good friends. If you need more space, take a look at the other cabin on our farm, (Cottage anno 1711) Sauna can be rented. 300NOK / 30 Euro per use. If you arrive by train or bus, we can pick you up at the station. For this we will charge 150 NOK / 15 Euro per way.
