Short 10 minute walk to the beach over the Davis Canal. Private entrance with access to fenced in back yard with firepit, hammock. After a day at the beach you can rinse off in the private, enclosed outdoor shower. Enjoy your fresh catch of the day on the outdoor grill, and enjoy it outside if you like at the cozy outdoor dining nook.

The Petite Pelican provides easy access for sunbathing, shell collecting, beautiful sunset views, and walks on the beach with a public access right in your backyard. One parking spot on the lot is included with your stay and daily paid parking is available in the adjacent lot for families with more than one vehicle. At check-in you will find a guest book to help maximize your experience at the Petite Pelican.

One level ranch style home near West end bridge Oak Island (OKI) minutes to ocean (walkable)...fifteen minutes to Southport/Bald Head Island (ferry). Route 17 north to Wilmington and 17 South to Myrtle Beach SC as well as Ocean Isle, Holden, Sunset Beach, Calabash and Shallotte, NC. We prefer multi-night (2 or more) bookings versus a single night booking.

Renovated in 2019, this wheelchair friendly spacious one bedroom studio apartment has a fully stocked kitchen, queen size Murphy bed, bedroom with a twin trundle bed, bathroom with a walk-in, wheelchair friendly shower, front loading washer/dryer and private screened in porch; beach towels, beach chairs, cooler and an umbrella are all included with rental. About a 10 minute walk to the ocean and 3 minute walk to the ICW. Our community is very peaceful, quiet.

Myrtle Beach and Wilmington are both within an hours drive. If you prefer to relax, you can sit on the 10' x 22' deck just outside the kitchen door, or by the fire pit, on a rocking chair or the swing in the open back yard, which is ideal for playing fetch with your dog.
