  • I would highly recommend staying with Randolph. He is very welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable. He helped us with all our day trips and made it very easy for us. He let us check in early after our night bus and have showers after our checkout time which was absolutely fantastic! He made a great breakfast and the facilities met expectation. His driver was also amazing. It was a very positive stay!

  • Perfect place to discover Banaue. Randolph gave us very good advices and was very helpful to arrange our travel.

  • We had a great stay with Randy. He was kind enough to accommodate us very last minute and was flexible enough to allow us to stay an extra day too! Randy's place is basic but sparkling clean and was perfect for us. Randy couldn't have been more helpful in giving us many suggestions on hikes and places to visit around Banaue! We couldn't have done it without you Randy!

  • Randi's place was great! It is a quiet Bnb, with shared areas to meet other travelers. They were able to set us up with a private trike for the day to go to the falls, his name was Peter and he was great! Everyone was so helpful, and we had a great time here. Highly recommend :)

    Alexis2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • We booked this place because we've never seen any Airbnb has such five star reviews across the board. And in a town like Banaue, choosing the right host can make all the difference in the world. Although we didn't get to meet Randi in person, he took great care of us by sending extensive tour suggestions and responding to our feedback in real time. If something doesn't feel right, he fixed it for us right away. The place is basic but honestly feels cleaner than a hotel (despite the shower being a bit cold for Asians liking, the rest is flawless.) We thoroughly enjoyed everything he arranged for us and would defo recommend his place with a heartbeat.

  • Make sure you communicate how many rooms you need/want. Randy is very helpful and went above and beyond for us.

  • Very clean, peaceful, and comfy place. The host gave us a room with a nice view, and allowed us to check-in earlier than the agreed time. They allow guests to leave their bags in the lobby, of check-in is not yet available. The staff, as well as the host himself is very responsive and accommodating, and showed superb customer service. We will surely book again when we go back to Sagada.

  • A very clean and beautiful place to stay. The view is really astonishing while having your breakfast. The Team is really friendly and they make you feel welcome. Everyone is relaxed and this energy spreads over to you. Both local Guides ‚Adam and Elvis, are really good guys who always have a smile on the face. They also have good knowledge and connections if you need informations about the surroundings. We are definitely coming back to this wonderful place and people. Always worth a visit!! Venus & Andrew

  • Very proper & friendly

    Philippe2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Still in awe on how beautiful the view was from Graham’s place. Let me start with how considerate the owner was. We arrived at the place at 9pm since we left Sagada at 6 and the road was very foggy almost zero visibility. We haven’t had lunch and dinner yet but the restaurant takes orders until 7:30pm only, but they were so gracious for them to serve us adobo, pansit and sandwiches. But this, by far is the best accommodation I had as of to date. Graham was so accommodating he makes sure his guests are warmly welcomed. I cannot emphasize this so much, but THE VIEW WAS SO AMAZING. Value for the money 👌🏼

    Carmina Janine2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a quite gateway in Banaue this is the perfect place to be! Transportation from the terminal to the cottages were arranged for us right away early in the morning. Our bus arrived earlier than planned but were accompanied by a staff from the inn only after few minutes. The toilets were clean with hot water showers. The Staff were very accommodating and polite. They even brought our meals outside even though it was drizzling where we got to enjoy the view with great food. Kuya salvador (tricycle driver) drove us around the village without any hassle! I would highly recommend the inn to anyone looking for tranquility and to unwind!

    Enaz2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Had a lovely time. The views are absolutely incredible and Graham and staff are great. Facilities are very clean and food is tasty. Chicken curry was my favorite.

  • The accommodation offers a breathtaking view of the rice fields! When we arrived very early, we already had a wonderful view of the sunrise at the check-in (mind at 5:30 a.m.) and were warmly welcomed! The early arrival as well as a late check-out were made possible for us without any problems. On site we got tips for the area and a driver was booked for our stay without having to take care of too much ourselves. The breakfast omelet was very good and gave us power for the day hikes! All in all a very nice, simple and clean accommodation that I can recommend without hesitation! We were allowed to spend wonderful, relaxing days here!

  • Wonderful stay at the native huts... quick response to our questions & queries. Lovely views!

    Rowena2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The place is simply amazing! I was in hut #9 and the view is the best! It’s been a slice communicating with Art and Gloria the manager lady is adorable. Food ia great delivered to your hut! Sunrise is wow! My only negative point is that this has been declared as a tourist spot. So people pay 30 pesos and they have access to the whole site. So i came back early the first day and i couldn’t sleep, people are wondering around taking pictures right at your door stop. So no privacy or intimacy at all... Even in the morning while i was having breakfast quiet 3 people showed up.. that’s my only disappointment. The rest is awesome!

  • The best stay in banaue

    Sharina2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Stunning view straight from bed, sparkling clean and amazing service (food, activities, directions), all that in an original native house on the top of the hill.

    Agnieszka2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • Really great experience and super good service. Picked up from the city when we arrived and they already booked a private guide for us (which you’ll need to get around). The place has a great view (which also means it is a 15 minute drive from the city)

    Mie2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • The place is so amazing like pictures don't do justice. Nanay Gloria and her whole family is very welcoming and thoughtful. They have free shuttle upon your arrival and food will be delivered at your hut. For sure will be back with family and friends next time.

    Naomi2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures don’t do it justice! This place is clean, the native huts are cool, the staff is very helpful and the view is absolutely priceless!

7th Heavens cafe is just 5-10 min walk from the main town and the municipal tourism office. A quite and beautiful view of the terraces and the town. This listing is one room good for 4 people. The bathroom is designated for each room located outside.
  • Super place, perfectly clean guest house. It’s funny to see that 7th heaven is a traveler and local’s life hub. David and Mike are very kind people and super helpful. Good food and good rooms. Helpful to guide you and tell you the story behind the local life, the why how and what behind the farming technics used in the region or even evolutions of traditions, habits and even threats concerning climate change and beyond. If you want to see more than the beauty behind the exceptional areas of Banaue region, if you’re ready to hike 40km up and down during 3 days and open to stories of heritage (experience to do, worth the price if you like more than watching and take pics), Mike and David are the ones you have to meet. 7th Heaven cafe is by the way a super location: beautiful view, good place to meet people, not far from village center to find what you need in town, far enough not to be too much disturbed. We’ve learned a lot with them.

  • Great place .....well looked after

    Sean2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Superb stay at 7th Heaven! The staff are very welcoming and the cook makes delicious pancakes! The establishment put us in direct contact with a guide who prepared a schedule according to our time and our desires. The 3-day trek with Michael was at the top, the establishment has locked lockers during your absence. I highly recommend this place!

    Alfredo2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • There are many reasons to love this place. The view is amazing, the staff were exceptional and the location was great. I want to give a special thank you to David for helping us out with our tours and making sure we were able to see all of the sights even if the weather didn’t cooperate. This is just one example of how amazing everyone was here at 7th Heaven. The food here was great and the accommodations were comfortable. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Banaue.

Renovated upstairs loft apartment with one bedroom for 2 guests and sleeping for 2 guests on top. The chalet is located 2 kilometers before the busy town centre of Banaue, in a quiet valley among the rice terraces, pine and fern tree forests. Take note you need to go down around 60 steps going to the house.
The upstairs level has one bedroom with queen sized bed and a mezzanine with beds on the floor. The ceiling of the mezzanine does not allow an adult to fully stand up, in case you mind. The big bathroom has a hot shower.
Banaue is an ideal home base to visit the Cordillera region: Batad 1 hr, Hapao and Hungduan 1 hr, Bay-yo 30 min, Bontoc 1 hr, Barlig 1 hr, Sagada 1.5 hrs. Public and private transportation can be arranged at the Tourism Centre where you need to register upon arrival.

  • Everything was perfect, super nice chalet in a fantastic location. It was our 2nd time there and definitely not the last time. Can only be recommended!

    Claudia2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed for three nights in the Chalet and really enjoyed the time. The view from the balcony is just beautiful, the equipment in the really clean appartment includes everything you need and the bed is really comfy. We got picked up at the bus and got the chance to buy some food at a grocery store, bakery and the market. They also organized tours for us which included everything like transport and guide. We could really enjoy the time we had in Banaue and had a great time.

    Liv2020-02-06T00:00:00Z

  • The Banaue Chalet is one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed at, tucked away in Banaue where most accommodations are still the same as they were in the last 2 to 3 decades. We almost didn't push through with our trip since, as beautiful as Banaue is, most accommodations are nearly all backpacker-style. But when we saw Johar's listing, we decided to go ahead with the trip and it is definitely one of our best vacations in a while. The beds are soft and cozy, the bathroom and kitchen are well equipped and spacious, and the view is amazing. It's best though to bring your own food to cook since the nearest stores are in town and it's not exactly easy going up and down the steep 60 or so steps every time unless you're incredibly fit. However, our group was more than happy to be stuck in the chalet just relaxing, enjoying the view, and playing the handful of board games that were available in the property. It would be good also to bring some bluetooth speakers as some jazz music perfectly complements the ambience of the property. Will definitely come back here again.

  • The best accommodation in this area

    Michal2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • After a fairly substantial staircase, very nice welcome and nice, clean and welcoming place. Very nice view of the rice fields, ideal for a couple with 2 children. Ability to cook is great. Always a touk touk passing on the road to take you to the center of Banaue, this allows you to be calm. The center is hectic and noisy but must see.

    Marc2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Johar's place in Ifugao--close to the Banaue municipality--has an amazing view! It is wonderfully stocked with everything a cozy home needs. The layout of the house is great for a family or couple. There's a great little yard that overlooks some terraces which was a great place space for our kids. We absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend it for others! Great value for a real gem!

    Bradford2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The place is really nice! Fantastic view! Located in a quiet area overlooking a rice terraces. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, there’s nothing more we could asked for! One of the best AirBnB’s we’ve stayed in. Will surely come back!

P&M stands M for my last name MORALES and P for Plaza my husbands last name we grow up in Manila. But God blessed us with an opportunity to stay at my Grandparents home and where my mom grow up. now we are taking care and living here for the rest of our lives🧡. we love to mingle with people sharing stories and we also have a small handmade shop 😁 I can make personalized mugs, keychains, etc. so excited to meet new people and have some good time. we can cook your food for minimal charge😘👍🤝

  • Just a perfect place to stay. Tessa, Tani and their kids are lovely and open minded. You'll feel like home and got everything you need. Tani is an warm-hearted guide if you want to go hiking. He is a brilliant cook and helped us to arrange our days. It was a pleasure to meet you guys! • It's a good location, near stores, the public market, and great view of the terraces! Kuya Tani and Ate Tess are great hosts! We felt at home, and we got a great tour of Batad with kuya! We highly recommend their place!

    Jassie2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Jonathan and Tessa are very hospitable. Jonathan even served as our guide going to Batad. We got a lot of local tips from him. The Snake River was unforgettable. The place is very laid back which we like. Our kids enjoyed staying there. See you again P&M Fam!

    Mac & Patty2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Please read well the host' description. Like a lot of traveller's, we are greedy for "authentic" experience. Here at Nessa and Jonathan's home, we had exactly that. A clean and welcoming home, with guests spaces that still feels part of their house. Kids that runs around full of mischief. Home-cooked meal. Cold shower like the locals would have. A very warm welcome, as if you are visiting a relative. Great location for all touristic activities, with Jonathan's informative knowledge. If you want a 5* hotel deluxe experience, this isn't for you. If you want that human warmth than no money can buy, this is the place.

  • Tessa & Tani are very welcoming, kind, and laid back. The home is a simple space, but their family makes it feel cozy, and their two boys are excited to hang out with you if you want haha. They picked me up from the tourism office at 7am and dropped me back off even though they didn’t have to. For a price, they also cook for you and you can join family meals. And visiting the local spots with Tani as my tour guide is the same price as going with the office of tourism, but i felt more comfortable because I knew Tani and he also has a lot of knowledge to share. Their family was very welcoming and generous with me and I’d highly recommend anyone to stay with them.

    Yiann2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Slept there for one night. Expect an extremely friendly host family, who will provide you with fresh coffee and advice for you coming journey.

    Torben2019-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Tani, Tessa and the kids made our first days in the Philipines a time never to forget! Their hospitality was great and we felt home from the very beginning already. Tani picked us up from the bus station very, very early morning (4 a.m.) and had arranged a tricycle to bring us and our luggage to their home. We really enjoyed joining breakfast/lunch/dinner with them during our stay and loved their home-made Filipino dishes which they especially made for us! Tani is also a very good tour guide which brought us to Batad Rice Field Terraces including a freshening dip in the Tappiya Falls. We could decide which track we liked depending on our stamina. During the trip we also learned a lot about the area and his passion for climbing mountains. We highly recommend Tani to other guests as a guide. Tessa is a very lovely and creative mom that likes to show her own creations when you ask for it! We bought some souvenirs and even got a nice personal gift when we left their place! The kids LJ and Duke are friendly and enjoyed it when we spend time in their home. To conclude, if you really want to experience the Philippine-way of living for a good price and don’t mind a cold shower, this is the place to be! Eventually Tani and Tessa plan to increase the comfort more for the guests but they’ve just started their business. Very warm greetings and all the best to you expanding your business! • The view from this place is breath taking. But what's more amazing is the family that runs it! They're very kind and will help you with anything you need, as soon as you enter 7th heaven you feel very much at home to be honest. They also offer guide services which I highly recommend. Our guide David was so kind, funny and caring. He took us hiking to some great view points and told us a lot about culture, beliefs and the area. Rooms are quite spacious with a separate bathroom, perfectly fine and clean. Food is amazing for a great price. If you're thinking of visiting Banaue and Batad, stay here!

  • View from the balcony was amazing and the room was very clean.

  • Will definitely be back!

  • 7th heaven has a great location just a few minutes walk from the bus terminal. You do have to climb some stairs to get to the rooms. Bathrooms are private but outside of the room. No AC which was fine while we were there but might be a problem during the hotter seasons. We had an issue with the key to the room, but they said they were unable to take care of it during our visit. Overall, good place to stay for the price.

    Josephine2019-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a good time. The room is simple but comfy with a great view. You have your own bathroom, even it is not inside your room!! Breakfast and dinner were good , fair price also. Tours are good organized, thank you Mike for a fantastic day in Batad! :)

Located in Batad, Rita's Mount View Inn and Restaurant features accommodations 17.7 km from Banaue Rice Terraces. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony. The restaurant at the family stay specializes in American and Asian cuisine. A car rental service is available at this property. The nearest airport is Cauayan Airport, 117.5 km from the property. We speak your language! "A home away from home"
Rita's Mount View Inn and Restaurant is also a shop for souvenirs and other basic needs.
  • We Loved staying at Rita’s. The place definitely has one of the best views in Batad. Food cooked at the place by Jermaine was also really yummy and for a regular price which was really convenient. The only minus was that blankets provided were really thin and considering that it’s pretty chilly in the mountains that was a nuisance. But that’s the only minus, the rest was great. Would recommend staying there for a few nights just to relax and soak up the atmosphere.

    Adelina2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Really good place to stay in Batad. The lodge is close to the road. Travel time from main drop off point is relatively short (as compared to other inns). View from the lodge also has great view.

  • Rita’s place is very special. The spectacular view while you enjoyed breakfast in the morning is priceless. They can help you to arrange to pick you up in banaue and also arrange for tour guide as well, I have fresh cook vegetables every day and it is delicious I have great times Highly recommended to all all who want to find peace and adventure in your travels and journey Once again Thank you from the bottom of my heart Ben

  • The place is very clean and comfortable to sleep in. Though there's literally no signal in the village of Batad (place of the accomodation). The host is super friendly and happy! she's always smiling and telling us some facts about the village. Will definitely stay again in this place coz of her.

    Michael2019-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • We can absolutely recommand to stay at Rita's Mount View Hotel in Batad and do a hike with Elisa, as she can tell you a lot about culture, the area and rice growing. We love this place! Kind regards Kai

  • The place has an amazing view of Batad Rice Terraces. Place is simple and clean. There is no electric fan but you will not need it given that Batad is at 21C at this month. Thank you so much Siena for arranging the trip for us. Batad has no signal but we were able to communicate with the host prior our trip.

This cozy room crafted of local pine is nestled on the third floor of the house, away from the daily comings and goings. There's a bathroom shared by two single rooms, and a shared kitchenette one floor down. The room is 2.7x2.1 meters. The bed is 1.65m wide and there's 1.4m of space between the bed and the wall. That's typical Sagada architecture: we're an active culture and it's assumed that people are out all day, so a bedroom is just for sleeping! There's a small table and a seat.
We're located just under a kilometer from the center of Sagada, close enough for easy access, far enough to be away from most of the crowd! We're on a small hilltop with views across the lower end of Echo Valley and the limestone formations and pine trees of Kanip-aw Ridge. Thre's a selection of restaurants in the neighborhood! We're well off the road and there's a pine grove with bonfire area just outside the house. My mother produces homemade bread at her bakery at the bottom of the hill, and you're welcome to drop in and share the smell and a loaf fresh from the oven. We'll serve you bread and Sagada Arabica coffee on arrival! Apart from our incomparable flexibility to our guests' needs, there are a few more reasons why you might want to stay at our bnb: - Our place has a picturesque, elevated setting surrounded by pine trees. - Peace Corp volunteers usually stay here so you're bound to know interesting individuals with rich stories. - You get first dibs on some Ysagada bread, fresh from my mom's trusty oven. It's the yummy and filling wheat bread that you might see being sold around town. And the oven, too, will keep you toasty during cold nights. - We also coordinate outdoor tour packages, courtesy of Steve, my hubby. I also used to be one of the SEGA (Sagada Environmental Guides Association) guides; I could give you my recommendations on the best routes in and around town.
Sagada is a small town nestled in a forested valley 1500m above sea level, in the center of the Luzon Cordillera. It's famous for hiking, caving, mountain scenery, indigenous culture, and year-round cool air! Sagadans belong to the Applai Kankanaey indigenous community. We are quite modern in many respects and pride ourselves on our education and fluency in English, but we are also very traditional in many ways and we take our culture seriously. Sagadans are not allowed to dress in traditional costume for posed photographs or to stage rituals for visitors. Some rituals, notably weddings, are open to all. Others are quite private. If you see ritual activities going on, usually involving groups in traditional costume, you may observe at a distance but do not come too close. Ask permission before taking photos or video. Start with respect and everything will be fine! It's a good idea to ask anyone before taking pictures, especially old people. Sagada's first exposure to the outside world came from American Episcopalian missionaries in the early 20th century. Unlike most of the Philippines, there is no real Spanish influence and the prevailing religion is Episcopal, not Catholic. Sagada is a highly egalitarian community and even in the pre-colonial culture, there was no tradition of "chiefs" or of inherited power. Communities were governed by councils of individuals who earned respect. Sagada does not permit non-Sagadans to own land or do business. All businesses in town are locally owned: no fast food joints or chain convenience stores! St Theodore's Hospital is able to handle most routine illness and injury but does not have a large staff of specialists. We suggest avoiding situations that might lead to neurosurgery!
  • nice clean room and very nice window view

    John2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Communication was very smooth, Steve answers all our queries. Ate Jane assisted us with the tour which make our tours much much easier!! Upon arrival, we had been welcomed by Steve with a cup of hot coffee and the best wheat bread in town homemade baked by ate Jane. Note: it takes at least 15mins walk from the Tourism center, but really didn't mind. You wouldn't feel the tiredness at all in Sagada because of the cool weather.. thank again Steve, Siegrid & ate Jane!!

    Caryl2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Although the place is quite far from the town center, still, you could easily grab some food to eat nearby from the fave restos in Sagada like the Lemon Pie House, Sagada Hub and the Sagada Brew, it will take you few steps just to get in. I also give 5 stars for the warm welcome, good assistance/guide and of course for the free homemade wheat bread. Overall, our stay here was a good choice.

    Edylane2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying at this place. It was clean. Steve welcomed us with a sweet smile, freshly brewed coffee & baked whole bread (chocolate & cheese). We enjoyed the view from our window and a homey feeling at the room. Overall, it was amazing!

  • What an absolute amazing home to stay in! We are so thankful to the hosts for welcoming us into their home and giving us the best Sagada experience we could have ever asked for. We have fallen in love with Sagada and all the amazing traditions and culture that is instilled in the community. We will never forget the amazing time spent at this amazing location! 💛💛

  • What you see in the pictures and descriptions is what you get. The place is homey and made of literal pine wood. Great hospitality and the home made bread that they serve and sell is one of our favorites foods that we tasted during out stay. Highly recommended. :)

  • Pleasant place to live at with warm hosts. They own a bakery as well. The view from the place is pretty awesome as well. Huge and comfy bed. If you wanna travel to echo valley and the hanging coffins, you can engage the hosts for a tour.

    Crispan2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • My sister and I felt at home and had really great, relaxing sleep for a few days that we're here (which we usually don't get when staying at hotels or some other rented rooms). It felt like home. We were welcomed like a family. Special thanks to Aunty Jane for making sure that everything was good, for those yummy wheat breads, the lemons, guavas, for giving us a ride on her motorcycle - we felt like we were your nieces :) Your kindness can't be captured on cameras but one of my favorites in Sagada is the hospitality and friendliness of the locals. Thank you.

  • Everything is as pictured especially the good view of the mountains from the dining area and from our room. Our room was very clean and although we had a bit of an issue with the water heater, they were quick enough to fix it. The location couldn’t have been any better. It was close to all the restaurants that we wanted to go to as well as the tourist info center and the bus station.

    Karriza2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • The place is very convenient & accessible to stores & restaurants/diners . What stand-out was their dining area's magnificent view, Dining or having a cup of their coffee while enjoying the view of Echo valley is delightful. But the biggest factor of Amlangan Lodge is the hospitality of the owners. Their hands-on way of running their lodge makes every visitor feel they're at home. Many thanks to Sir Julius & his family for being such a great host!

Kitchen use was also included (free heating of water for coffee, noodles etc). Also, Tita Mat is very accommodating. She even gave us tips on souvenir shopping.

  • This stay is great! The location was a bit further down the road from where the bus had dropped us off but the walk along the road to the Airbnb gave me a good idea as to what I wanted to check out the next day. The room was cozy and spacious enough to fit a small family if need be. The balcony as well added the extra touch to the room that for me personally made the booking worth it. The adorable dog, Mishi, was also an added welcome to my stay in Sagada. Definitely will book again in the future! Thank po mathilda!

  • We had a great time staying at Dale's Apartment. Angelica as a host is easy to talk to and very responsive. Place itself is smaller than expected but it was clean and very adequate. Bring USB with movies if you plan to laze around the place. Drawback is, if you don't have a private car, the place is kinda far from the city center, the tricycles might charge you extra going to the place. Waiting for tricycles going to the city proper depends on luck. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Dales Apartment.

  • This is a great place to stay. The place is peaceful and windy. The host are great. They immediately answered some of our questions and concerns, they act fast and informs us immediately on the details and progress of our concerns. They even met us and are very much willing to extend their help. The best thing they did was to return to us through LBC the gadget that we left behind their place. If you want honest and great host, stay at this place in Santiago. Better than staying at a hotel. The place is complete with secured and covered parking area. Near Savemore, Joliibee and other stores at your convenience. We will definitely stay again at your place the next time we visit Santiago. Thanks...

  • Very hospitable host with an adorable big Labrador. Far from town proper but if you're up for a walk, this is no problem. No aircon or fan but not needed.

  • We had a very relaxing stay at Rio & Ruzys. Ate Mathilda was very hospitable and helpful with our questions on going around Sagada. Calls you when you text her a question. :) Will definitely recommend this place to friends planning to visit Sagada. Sa uulitin po. :)

  • We stayed at Mathilda's house for 1 night only. the room was very clean and the staff were accommodating. The location was great and we were able to avail the parking there which was handy as this can be quite an issue in Sagada. Thanks again Mathilda we will be back for sure!

This room has a double and a single bed and is a comfortable fit for three guests. It has windows on three sides, making it a favorite of guests who appreciate natural light, fresh air, and views. The floor is tiled, the walls are wood panels, and the air smells of pine trees! The room dimensions are 3.25x2.25 meters. You'll be served home-baked bread and Sagada Arabica coffee on arrival. We're proud of our local products!
This is a house full of outdoor people with extensive guiding experience, and we're ready to help you develop an itinerary to suit your needs, whatever those may be!
  • The best BnB host! Our stay in their place is the highlight of our whole Sagada trip. Upon our arrival Steve offered us free coffee and their very own Home Made Wheat Bread which is the best wheat bread in town! The room is cozy and clean with a very great view. Special thanks to Steve, Siegrid and Jane for making us feel at home while we were on a vacation. Siegrid also helped us plan out the best itinerary for us. So guys if you are planning to visit Sagada, then don’t think twice to choose this BnB on the Hill. No regrets, they are the best!!! Ps. Definitely gonna miss their Home Made Wheat Bread, the best in town!

  • If you ever planing to go to Sagada, then you definitely need to stay at Sigrid's place! Wonderful people that will take care of you, and show you all the best places around. Lovely home experience, on a hill with great view, and they have a bakery, so some fresh bread in the morning :D It was a highlight of our whole trip to Philippines!

  • To Ma’am Jane, Ma’am Siegrid and family, we are very grateful for your outstanding hospitality. We deeply appreciate the warmth of your generosity in our short yet memorable stay at your place. Sagada becomes even more beautiful because of beautiful people like you. Special thanks to Ma’am Jane for being such an amazing tour guide. With your coffee, bread and stunning view of nature from the windows, your place is truly commendable. We hope to see you again. God Bless!

  • Thank you for the great stay!! It made our trip memorable. Seigrid, Jane and Steve gave well-thought advices how to spend the trip worth it taking into consideration that we came late plus it was the maintenance/clean-up schedule in Sagada where there is no electricity everywhere not to mention the closing of all tourist sites. Great hosts! They care about their guests needs. Very wonder place with THE MOST wonderful people in town 😘😘 Hope to see you soon!! Till we meet again 😇😇

  • I stayed at Jane and Siegrid's place for two nights. I was welcomed with tea and bread upon arrival by Jane. The standout of my stay was the hospitality and kindness from both. Jane was my guide for the two days I stayed there and being from Sagada, she had excellent local knowledge. Thank you for making my stay in Sagada a memorable one! :)

    Jennifer2019-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • The place is more than what you expected. Siegrid, Jane and their family made us feel like their house is also our home. It was the "warmest" home to stay with the hosts' incomparable accommodation. If you're looking for a place to stay like you're not leaving your home, BNB in the Hill is the place to be.

It is near Echo Valley (hanging coffins), Lumiang Burial Cave, and Sumaging Cave (passing by a wonderful view of Kapay-aw rice terraces). Most of all, it is within the Village of Demang where most DAP-AYs (traditional ethnic cluster centers where the BEGNAS rituals are being performed) are found.

  • We had a very nice stay. We appreciate that we we were able to rest from the long travel when they checked us in early in a different room when we came earlier than expected, since the original room we booked still has guests in it. Rooms are very clean. Linens, blankets, and towels smell nice. They have a common area with an amazing view of Mt. Kanip-aw. Place is walking distance from known restos in Sagada i.e. Sagada Hub, Sagada Brew, Lemon Pie House. Staff are friendly and helpful. They helped arrange our tours at very reasonable prices. Overall this place is a great value for money.

    Kamille2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We cannot say enough good things about this place. Excellent service from the staff. Kuya Joel toured us for the Marlboro Hill and Blue Soil Hill traverse. He told us many stories about theMountain Province and took really nice photos of us! All Instagram-worthy. That's one tour guide anybody could ask for. The room is simple yet functional. We found ourselves hanging out at the lounge a lot for coffee, cable tv and wifi. The lodge is not on the highway but it has a great view of the Echo Valley. This accommodation is highly recommended!

  • Our 2nd time visiting Sagada but our first to try Amlangan Lodge. Not that we don't like the first place that we stayed in, we just wanted to try a new place with a different view. In addition, Amlangan Lodge is close to Sagada Municipal Tourist Information Center and to all the other known restos/cafe so going out for a stroll and food trip won't be an issue. As for the review of the lodge, their place is clean and new and they have a great view of Mt. Kanip-aw, which is also true for the room that we stayed in. Beddings are freshly cleaned and I like how the toilet is separated to the shower room. Hot shower is working and water runs great. No issue with water pressure whatsoever. Morning view of the mountain makes you feel that you're a part of the nature. The peacefulness and the quietness of the place made us want to sleep all day long. By the way, their lodge also cooks food. If you're lazy to go out or if you brought some easy to cook meals with you, which is what we did to save some money (food is not cheap in Sagada), you can ask them to cook them for you and they charge for a small amount. The food they serve taste good as well. Moreover, if you have plans to take Sagada tour packages, don't be shy and ask Tito Julius or his wife. They helped us book the tour package that we wanted as well as try to find other groups that we can join in so we can save from the guide fee and shuttle. To sum it up, our experience has been great and all went well as expected. My family definitely recommend Amlangan Lodge if you wanted to experience Sagada

  • This place is located in a quiet side of town distant from city noise if you dont mind a tricycle ride. A great value for your money as long as you dont look for a warm shower as there is no water heater, but who needs one in a 40 degree weather? Owner personally checked to see if there's anything i need, a true Filipino hospitality, if you ask me.
