Lovely bedroom apartment, very clean, with an amazing view of Falassarna beach. Athanasios was very welcoming and happy to help at all times (He also teached us abit of the Greek language to get us by!) I highly recommend!!

L'alloggio di Athanasios è proprio come appare negli annunci: dal balcone si gode un meraviglioso panorama sul golfo di Falasarna, e l'appartamento è dotato di tutto ciò che serve. Athanasios è stato gentile, ci ha aiutato anche con le operazioni di check in. Il soggiorno purtroppo è stato brevissimo e non abbiamo potuto sperimentare la taverna, peccato! Da consigliare.

Casa pulita e ben attrezzata. Aria condizionata funzionante, bel balcone con vista mare. Kissamos non è una grande meta turistica ma con sola mezz'ora di macchina si arriva facilmente alle magiche Balos e Falassarna. Nikos e la moglie sono stati gentilissimi in tutto, consigliandoci anche dove andare a cena e a colazione.

We had a lovely stay at the flat: it was exactly as described, if not, better! The hosts made us feel very welcome and even gave us a taste of lovely local food and many recommendations for local fresh food and beach. The flat has the the anemnities you need and is just a 5 minute walk to the beach.

The apartment is brand new, modern and super equipped. It is comfortable and both terraces are spacious. It is near a large and new supermarket and within walking distance of the well-equipped beaches. Nikos and his wife were kind and helpful. They provided us with various logistic information and provided with typical drinks and foods. The holiday was really a dream.

The house is located in Kissamos, a village close to the famous beach of Falasarna (15 mins by car). The town is full of little and nice restaurants on the seaside, while the house is conveniently located 50 meters from a large supermarket. By car you can reach the beautiful beaches of Balos and Elafonisi in 45 mins and 1 hour, respectively. The apartment is on the first floor of the building and looks totally like the pictures posted on the website. It was provided with all that we needed for our stay (e.g. towels, hair-dryer, bed-lining, shampoo and soaps, washing machine, dishes, ...), there was even a beach umbrella! Everything was very nice, clean and tidy. The hosts, Nikos and his wife, were amazing: on our arrival they prepared us some typical Greek food, like moussaka and greek salad, as well as rice-stuffed vegetables and cake on some other days. On our arrival they provided us with many information regarding dining, sightseeing and many more. Check-in and check-out were easy. Thanks Nikos for the nice experience!

Chara and Nikos were the best hosts I ever had. They cooked dinner for us on our first night and brought more homemade food during our stay. Also they provided us with recommendations for good restaurants (don't miss Stelios&Katina restaurant nearby). The apartment is brand new, very clean and completely equipped. Also, important to mention: bed was very comfortable (that is not often the case). Kissamos is not a touristic town but it is a good base for visiting the most famous beaches of western Crete: Falassarna, Balos and Elafonissi. Highly recommended!

I was very impressed with Nikos's place - very clean & brand new, with latest appliancies. His Wife Hara made me food upon arrival - I was so hungry - & cake when I left. Nikos also explained everything about the surrounding area & made recommendations about restaurants. I wish I had more time to stay there....

The flat was exactly as described, and we had a lovely stay there! Nikos and the wife Hara made us feel very welcome. Also they gave us a taste of lovely (home made!) local food. The flat has all you will need (two different type of coffee machines even!). It is right next to a beach with free sunbeds, and if you have a car, very easily you will reach the best beaches around! They are very present, checking on you often to make sure the vacation is going well, real Airbnb spirit!

Nikos and his wife are the best! They were hosts that went above and beyond. They often brought me homemade Greek food, something that was completely unexpected. The communication was amazing as well. The apartment is beautiful! Everything is new and with a gorgeous view of the sea and mountains. There are restaurants and markets within walking distance. There's also a nice beach a short walk from their home. Also, Kissamos in general is a lovely town where you feel you're not surrounded by tourism, while at the same time it's easy to get to some of the most beautiful beaches.

It has been our first experience with Airbnb and we agree 100% with Xrisa's and Petros' previous guests: The apartment had everything we needed during our stay, was very clean and a good starting point for several trips we made with the KTEL bus service. We could easily walk to the beach (great restaurants) and Kissamos center (nice local shops and a big ΣΥΝ.ΚA supermarket) within 10 minutes. We enjoyed the roof-top terrace very much during breakfast and after coming back from our trips. But the best thing was our hosts' hospitality! :-) Highly recommended!

I have been using Airbnb for some years, but this one was absolutely the best experience so far I had: apartment is brand new, in a quite part of Kissamos but still central, clean in every spots, very spacious and calm. Dining on the terrace while looking at the sea is an amazing experience. Above all, Xrisa and Petros and all the members of their big family have been amazing hosts in any single details: they let us feel home even thousand kilometers in a distance. I recommend this apartment to everybody wishing to visit Crete.

We stayed at Xrisa's appartement for two nights along with three friends. She was a great host, preparing a cake for our arrival as well as some fruits and raki. She recommended us unique events to attend in nearby villages that made for unique memories from our trip in Crete. I recommend staying there since it is a good base to explore nearby beaches and villages. The appartement is modern and clean, with all modern appliances you might need.

L'appartamento è molto confortevole e dotato di tutto quello che serve anche per un soggiorno prolungato, noi ci siamo fermati solo due giorni ma avremmo voluto stare di più grazie alla gentilezza fuori dal comune di Xrisa che davvero si prodiga in tutti i modi per farti sentire un ospite speciale. Molto bello lo spazio sul terrazzo dove si può cenare o rilassarsi.

Ottimo appartamento a Kissamos. Io e la mia famiglia (2 adulti + 2 Bambini) siamo stati a Creta a Luglio 2017. La posizione (Kissamos) è stata un'ottima scelta in quanto la cittadina offre tutti i servizi essenziali, vari supermercati, ristoranti e bar, farmacia etc, ma soprattutto si è rivelato un ottimo punto di partenza per visitare le bellissime spiagge della regione di Hania, in particolare Balos (20/25 min), Elafonissi (50 min) e Falassarna (15 min), dove siamo stati più e più volte. Inoltre abbiamo raggiunto anche le spiagge della penisola dell’Akrotiri, come Marathi e visitato la città di Chania, (massimo 1 ora). L'appartamento è veramente delizioso: spazioso, arredato in modo accurato, accogliente, molto pulito e con tutto il necessario (sia di elettrodomestici che di accessori per cucinare, oltre alla biancheria per la casa completa). La terrazza esterna offre la possibilità di rilassarsi e cenare fuori. Aria condizionata e zanzariere completano in modo perfetto l'appartamento. Inoltre i proprietari vivono al piano sottostante, quindi se c’è bisogno di chiedere qualcosa è semplicissimo. Adesso vorrei spendere due parole per Xrisa (proprietaria dell'appartamento) e il marito Petros: sono delle persone molto disponibili, gentili, estremamente accoglienti e premurose. Al nostro arrivo, oltre a farci trovare dell’acqua in fresco e alcune specialità locali, ci hanno accolto con semplicità e ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa nostra e quasi della famiglia, pur rispettando in modo perfetto la nostra privacy. Vorrei dire un grazie speciale a Xrisa per averci permesso di vivere questo periodo di vacanza nel modo migliore, questo da parte mia, mia moglie e i miei figli. PAOLO

Appartamento bellissimo, nuovo tutto ristrutturato. Ampi spazi ottimo per quattro persone Ambiente ordinato, pulito e dotato di tutti i comfort (lenzuola, asciugamani, stoviglie ecc) Posizione abbastanza comoda anche se si trova su una salita. Se si vuole andare al mare a piedi bisogna fare un pezzettino a piedi, circa 10 minuti. Non lontano dal centro (anche se non vi è moltissima vita per quello che abbiamo potuto notare noi), vicinanza a negozi market ecc Xrisa è una persona davvero gentile, al nostro arrivo ci ha preparato una buonissima torta. È disponibile e abita proprio al piano di sotto per qualsiasi evenienza Appartamento e host consigliatissimo!

Our stay at Dimitra's and her wonderful co-host Despoina's place was great in many ways. The apartment was exactly as shown on the pictures and very clean and cozy. The location of the place is also super convenient. It is a short distance walk to the beach, seaside promenade and town center. It is quiet and with its roof terrace it offers a beautiful view across the sea. Although it does not offer a fully equipped kitchen, a proper refrigerator, toaster, kettle an everything you need in terms of plates, glasses, etc. is provided. The best thing however is the immense hospitality and attention that Dimitra and Despoina are offering their guests. Every morning a small breakfast surprise awaited us in front of the door. Towels for the beach, sun umbrella, good tips where to go, washing powder.... everything was thought of by the hosts. Since a sink for washing dishes was missing, we could just put the dishes in front of the door and everything was clean and ready by the time we returned home in the evenings. All in all we had a truly wonderful stay and experienced hospitality we will remember for long!

Despina and Dimitra are awesome hosts, just one of the bests we met. Very helpful, kind, friendly and positive. They helped us with all of the questions we had in the city. Despina's breakfasts were another story. Just great! And of course we enjoyed beautiful terrace. Highly recommended place. Definitely we will visit them again.

Once I arrived Dimitra and Despina told me there was a damp problem in the room that appeared just the day before my arrival. However they said they are going to fix it. D&D really take care of the guests and they provided attentions and spoiled me with fresh fruit and handmade breakfast. Highly recommended if you wanna feel like at home.

We spent a lovely time in Dimitra's apartment. The place is very clean, well renovated and with a beautiful panoramic terrace overlooking the bay. It is close to the beach and to shops and restorants. The hosts, Dimitra and Despina, are wonderful in taking care of you with precious advise on what to see in the surroundings. Despina is a wonderful cook also.,you will love her fresh baked cookies and muffins for breakfast. we enjoyed our stay very much! I highly reccomend it. Thank you to you both girls!

Our arrival was very welcoming and lovely! Dimitria helped us with everything we needed and answered all our questions arround our vacation. The Appartement is very sweet with a big terracce. You can see the sea and an amazing sunrise if you want. It is clean and pretty beautiful. There are a lot of possibilities in and arround kissamos to see and to go out. The restaurants are really awesome, all of that. And the greek guys are hospitable like we've never seen before! We loved the sea, the people, the food and the beaches. They are all clean and organized with great bars and restaurants. Driving by car is an adventure and pretty funny, you will see :D Last but least: Despoina is one of the loveliest women we've ever met. She was like a mother and made our stay perfect with her lovely character. It is a very very good family feeling! She gave us great tips and brought us to beautiful hotspots and brought us the best breakfast und deliscious snacks in the morning or in the evening. We will come again for sure! It is worth in all things! A big thanks to all of you, it couldnt be better :)

It was the first time when we booked a place for staying through this system. We have stayed here for two nights and it was the best place ever in all Crete (we were driving around the island for two weeks). The location is in the center, the main road and the beach are in walking distance. The studio is so nice and cute. There you can find all is what you need and even more. The hosts (Dimitra and Despina) are the most hospitality, kind and nice girls. They do your staying at their place incredible. The studio has a huge terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast or sunset. The girls provided a hot breakfast every morning and a lot of fruits, so tasty. And homemade cookies are so delicious. We have found our car was cleaned one morning. Despina washed it. We were really surprised and felt as a family. Thank you Dimitra and Despina so much for your hospitality, kindness, care and smile! We had a really great time with you and come back one day! All the best!! :)

Great location, 400m to the sea, clean. Wifi does not work inside the room, only some metres away outside. There is only one bed, not two. It is only a room, not an apartment, without kitchen. Would be better to mention this in the description of the place.

John's place is a lovely apartment that I can highly recommend as it's next to one of the most amazing Cretan beaches in Falasarna with beautiful and romantic views from the private terrace. The flat itself is spacious, clean and bright. John is a really nice and welcoming host. If you need anything he will sort you out. His Taverna next to the apartments offers great breakfast or dinner with fresh local food and has beautiful views of surrounding mountains and the sea. The sunsets are stunning. Also there is a supermarket few minutes away. This is ideal relaxing and romantic getaway for couples, we loved it. Thank you.

John was a very welcoming host, he gave us lifts to the local town to withdraw cash, he provided us with good knowledge of the area and helped us make our plans when visiting Balos Beach and Kissamos, some local towns. The apartment was cosy and perfect for me and my boyfriend. The location was outstanding and the price is great. I recommend this place highly.

Minimal but you have everything you need. The apartment is very clean and has a wonderful view from the balcony. The taverna is lovely and offers very good Greek dishes.

The room is just as shown on the pictures. It has a great view (spectacular sunsets), the beach under the apartment is stunning and very close - 5 min walk. Highly recommended!

We loved our 4 days stay in the apartment of John. The view was beautiful, the tavern offers great food and the beaches are perfect. During our stay we visited also Balos (by car little adventure but if you are there at 9h it is perfect, later it is so growed) and Elafonosi. So this is the perfect place to visit the two most known beaches of Crete and in front of you there are another beautiful beaches. The apartment is clean and simple. It's more a room without kitchen but you have a fridge and a kettle (2 glasses and 2 cups). There is a supermarket 200m next to the apartment where you can buy stuff for your breakfast or you go to Adams tavern. There you will get very delicious authentic greek food and we loved to eat there and to watch the most beautiful sunsest of Crete. Other very good restaurant are Captain Nicholas and Sunsetfish restaurant (way back from Elafonisi). All together 4 perfect days! Thanks a lot John.

All in all a nice studio close to the beach. Unfortunately there is no kitchen, but exactly how described in the profile. Lovely place for having a good time with a good view!

Nicely furnished studio in a perfect location for passing through Western Crete, on the way to Elafonisi or visiting Balos or Phalassarna. A great restaurant is in walking distance. We felt welcome by Katerina, the edible surprise was awesome. The only annoyance is some traffic noise from the road passing in front of the house, the soundproof door/window helped a lot.

The apartment was spacious and well equipped. It was also very clean and lovely decorated for our arrival. Also it was close to falassarna, Kissamos and the parking lot was right next to the building. Katerina was very helpful and a very good host. On arrival she had left some fruit, eggs and cheese in the fridge for our first breakfast. One evening she brought us a cretan dessert and on our last day she let us use the parking lot and some equipment to clean our car!She even got a little present for us when we left and gave us some delicious donuts on the go.

The studio is in a perfect position to go to Falasarna beach and other beautiful places on the west cost. Katerina is a very kind host. Good parking, a mini market and a taberna nearby. We highly recommend it!

Very close to falassarna beach, the location is wonderful. The room was clean and had lots of space. I would recommend it!

My personal favorite beach on Crete. The place is simple, easy, secluded, quiet, and a good value. Easy 2 minute walk down to the beach, free parking, good local food in the hills nearby with spectacular views, and even a mini market downstairs for anything you may need last minute. The host was helpful and responsive, so I was happy. This is a perfect place to relax, eat, get sun, and take a day trip or two to Balos or Elafonisi if you have a car. I will stay here again!

This apartment has wonderful central location in the village with a stunning view to the mountains and next to a couple of nice restaurants. The facilities are rather basic, but this is exactly what we needed in this sort of place where things are easy and relaxed. Maria's mother was very kind to help us at check in, it was quick and with no problems. I definitely recommend this apartment.

Studio is very nice, with wonderful view from the balcony. Good location in the village center: 4 steps from 2 tavernas, 5 steps from small shops, 15 km from elafonissi and kedradosos. Very pretty location in the main square of the town. Studio was clean and well mantained. Outside good selection of restaurants. Dora, Maria's Sister, welcomed us and gave us a small welcome gift, very Kind!

We had a great time staying in Maria's lovely studio apartment right in the centre of Kefali. There is a balcony with great views of the valley leading to the sea. In the village there is a shop and a couple of very friendly tavernas. Perfectly located for Elafonisi and Kedradosas beaches. Thanks Maria :)

Crete is a lovely place, not crowded with tourists. Also Mapia's place is very clean. We had a nice stay although it is only one night. Mapia is very prompt in responding messages. She also gave us the local spirit, Grappa as souvenirs. Much appreciate!!

Small but nice flat, with everything you need - bathroom, kitchen, wifi etc. Located in the heart of a typical village, with nice Tavernas around. Maria is very kind and her family helpful - we arrived at 10 pm, but no problem. Grazie/efaristò!

Wonderful vue from the flat! The place is very nice with restaurants and a little shop. Hosts are very welcoming and the flat very clean. Be careful, the roof is not so high, so it can be a problem for tall people.

Great location - a short walk to the main beach and with a supermarket on the doorstep. The studio is simply furnished but comfortable and with a great balcony overlooking the sea a few hundred metres away. The cicadas are a bit noisy, but otherwise very quiet! Great value for money.

Excellent emplacement! Notre hote nous a vraiment bien reçu! La plage est à 3 minutes de marche, la plage est un réel paradis. Tout est proche. Le restaurant familial vous offre d'excellents mets. Endroit intime. On attend fortement les ceiquets durant le jour mais on s'habitue. Belle petite terrasse privée. Je vous recommande chaleureusement cet endroit!

Jamais entendu autant de cigales et aussi bruyantes!!

Nous avons rencontré quelques soucis de communication avec l'hôte car nous avons essayé de le contacter un jour avant notre arrivée pour avoir l'adresse ainsi que savoir à quelle heure pouvions-nous arriver, mais sans réponse même après relance. Nous avions vu entrée des lieux à partir de 12h sur airbnb, nous sommes donc arrivés vers 12h45, malheureusement nous avons pu profiter de la chambre qu'à partir 14h.... À notre arrivée le ménage n'avait été réalisé qu'en superficie (frigo sale, bouilloire sale..). La bouilloire ne fonctionnait pas, pas de rideau de douche dans la salle de bain donc inondation à chaque fois. Mais par la suite, le ménage a été réalisé tous les jours, avec changement de serviettes, ce qui est inévitablement un point positif. Le balcon est formidable pour profiter du très beau coucher de soleil ainsi que pour manger. La chambre est très bien placé, l'accès à la plage est direct. Le super market est également juste à côté ainsi que plusieurs tavernes. L'emplacement était donc très bien.

Nick and Xara are very friendly hosts. They have welcome us with great home made dinner, and let us taste multiple tradicional dishes during our stay in Kissamos. House is good located ( great base to visit west Kreta beaches). The apartment is really comfortable, clean and well equipped, makes us feel like in own home. Internet connection works fine which is rare in Greece and was important for me, as person that have to work online also during holidays. If someone is looking for friendly and less turism city its great place to stay in:)

Really nice place to stay,clean,scenic. Great location, close to restaurants and bars. And close to famous beaches. The hosts were so kind and helpful from the start to the end. Amazing people. Everything was perfect. Nikos and his wife Xara were very very kind. They even prepared some home made food for us! :) Perfect location to go to Balos and Falassarna beaches.

Spacious, well equipped, 3! terrasses, 2 Supermarkets within 3min walking distance. They also really cared for us, brought us great food and helped us with the baby, whereever they could. They also provided us with blankets, as the nights in spring were quite cold, so if you are travelling in spring, i strongly advice to bring warm clothes ;)

I'd really recommend visiting the "Real house near the beach". Nikos and his wife are very welcoming and helpful. The apartment is spacious, clean, comfortable, equipped and well-located. By car, you can reach every nice and interesting spot in the western of crete within 60 minutes. Everything was perfect! We really enjoyed our stay! Your wifes moussaka and greek salad was the best =)

It is very good located : at just 10 minutes of Falassarna ( one of the most beautiful beaches in Crete), and also near from more beautiful and interesting places to visit. We spent one week in Niko’s apartment. Nikos and Xara are super kind, friendly, helpful, hospitable, always where checking us and helping with everything. Xara welcomed us with most tasty „mousaka” (greek traditional dish), greek salad and some extras in the fridge (fresh fruits, water, juice, wine) after long trip from Heraklion airport by car it was great greeting. Kissamos is great place for those who dont want parties and full beaches of tourist. Apartment is well equipped and very clean, have 3 balconies (one is with a side sea view), TV satellite, internet, coffee machine and etc. In 2 minutes walk you will find big super market with everything you need (you can see it from the balcony), its closed on Sundays and daily opened from 8 till 9. In the center (few minutes walk) you will find a lot of cafe, taverns, shops, small super markets, butcher, small fresh fish shops, 2 very good toy shops, pharmacies. Beach is reachable in 3 minutes walk, it is amazing, not crowded, long sandy beach almost without stones, its perfect for children especially for the small ones, shoal, there you will find sun beds and umbrellas for free and good restaurants. Great place to stay for those who want to explore most beautiful beaches on Crete as Elafonisi 1 hour ride, Falasarna 10 minutes ride and Balos (there are two options go by car or take a boat trip, travel agency is near the house).

Amazing people, like having local guides looking out for you - couldn't recommend staying with Sue and Dave enough, genuinely lovely people. The living space is compact but perfectly formed, bedroom large and comfortable, outdoor space well considered. They have great taste and pay attention to details, and the view is fantastic anytime of day.

It was just PERFECT! Dave and Sue were There for us. The house is beautiful, the vue, the pool and the rooms. It was perfect, Thank you for your kindness. See you next year maybe ;)

We had a lovely week with Sue and Dave. They did everything to make us feel comfortable, starting with a warm welcome , providing good insights and lovely cakes. Beautiful place, we particularly enjoyed the great pool and the amazing view as well as our cosy barbecue area under the tree. The kids felt in love with the dog. Just a perfect vacation in a perfect place with great host !

Airbnb how it was meant to be! We had a fantastic time. Dave and Sue were very helpful, gave great recommendations and made us feel more than welcome and home. Although more great places were awaiting us on our journey, but we were sad to leave such a good view and the company. Children loved the pool, hammock and freedom. And Eddie the dog became a friend. It's a place you want to come back to. The apartment has everything you wish for and even more.

Peace and seclusion indeed! But also great hospitality from Sue and Dave, they made us feel at home and brought us fresh fruit and homemade jams and cakes, which were delicious. The place had everything we needed. There are great restaurants within a short drive, and also beaches and other activities in the area, but for us it was a great place just to relax and unwind on the nice terrace and in/ by the pool. Wish we would have stayed longer!

Dave & Sue have warmly welcomed us at our arrival. They have been available and provided us really good advices all along our two weeks stay. Their place is amazing, decorated with taste and with an astonishing view on kissamos bay. We loved it !

Where to begin?! Our stay at Dave and Sue's was beyond our expectations and easily our best airbnb experience yet. Their welcoming hospitality made us feel like we were at home and even a part of the family. We were welcomed with fresh baking, local fruit and homemade preserves. Having never been to Crete, Dave and Sue made several recommendations for places to see and eat- all of which we followed and none of which disappointed. They made our holiday easy and affordable, and because of their local insight we felt we really had an authentic Cretan experience. Our only disappointment was that we didn't stay longer!! The separate apartment was the perfect size for our party of 4 adults. Absolutely beautifully decorated (much of which is handmade by Dave and Sue!), and very clean. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed. The private outdoor sitting area was beautiful and shaded, perfect for breakfast or evening drinks on the patio. The view of Kissamos bay was stunning and you have full view from the patio and apartment windows. The main bedroom has A/C which also cools down the rest of the apartment. Dave and Sue's pool was wonderful as well, though we didn't have as much time as we wanted to enjoy it! Quiet and secluded, yet only a 5 minute drive to the nearest traditional taverna, 15 minutes to Kissamos itself and 45 minutes to Chania airport. If you are planning a trip to Crete, do yourself a favour and stay with Dave and Sue. We truly can't recommend them enough!!

Dave and Sue are amazing hosts! Very nice, warmhearted and caring people who were always there to give us great advice for our holidays (where to go - including nice beaches, restaurants and bars). Their place is very special, nicely decorated flat, cosy, charming and with an absolutely stunning view to the sea and fields of olive trees. Many thanks for making our holidays on Crete so special. It was excellent !!! The apartment is super! The house is made with love and comfort. The apartments are filled with everything you need to relax a young company or family. We were pleasantly surprised by very very tasty treats. The house is in a convenient location for visiting the sights of the west Crete. Very friendly and hospitable family! We will miss you !!! We stayed here for more then 10 days and had un holiday which will remain forever in our heart and memory. Great part is because the owners are most friendly available and helpful. The apartment is nice spacious and comfortable. It is situated in a very strategic position. Easy to reach are the most famous beaches and also only a few minutes away from the main beaches like Kissamos, Mauro and Molos. Also near CHANIA The owners live in the apartment on the ground floor ( husband. wife and daughter last was not there during our stay but reachable, in case of need, via email ). Important note to mention is that the apartment upon arrival is offered with all the necessary food for the first days like the famous greece yogurt, fruit and vegetables from the garden of the owners and a lot more. Above all....the owners cooked regularly during our stay for us!! Like mussaka, "calzoni" filled with cheese and other tipical Greecr dishes. This is an amazing holiday find. The accommodation is just as the photos show . It is very spacious and is a cool environment in the hot climate. It is exceptionally well stocked with everything you need . Triantafyllia is a wonderful host and her family welcomed us into their home as if we were friends ,cooking fantastic Cretan treats for us and making sure we were well catered for. Nothing was too much trouble and there was the right balance of having them to hand (mum and dad living downstairs) and having privacy . The house is quiet and spotlessly clean . The house is in walking distance to Kissamos which is a buzzy little town with shops and restaurants. Vaso and Stalios ( mum & dad) were really helpful in telling us good places to visit. The beaches are beautiful . My favourite was Fassalana where the water is clear and the sand is white . We had 10 heavenly stress free days in this little corner of paradise

Triantafyllia's place is located about 10 minutes from the local beach, which is a natural beach with a life guard. With a ten minutes walk from the local beach, you can reach Kissamos main beach, Mavros Malos, where the water is quieter on days with waves. A 15 minutes walk or a few minutes drive from the house takes you to taverns and bars along the beach, which is the happening place in Kissamos. Breakfast and dinner on the large house's balcony with ocean views was also wonderful. Falassarna is a short 20 minutes drive from the house. Of all the many beaches I have seen over the years, I think that Falassarna is one of the most beautiful one: crystal clear waters, soft sand, plenty of space, and great scenery. Other places to visit such as Balos, Elafonisi, and the Samarya gorges are not far from Kissamos. Triantafyllia and her family live downstairs and are always available to answer questions and help with anything you ask. On our first day at Kissamos, we didn't have a car, and they offered to drive us to the beach. The place is very clean and spacious as shown on the pictures. As mentioned, Triantafyllia's family is extremely caring. They brought us tasty seasonal fruit and Greek specialties. We felt very welcome and very sad when it was time to leave. We would definitively go back to Triantafyllia's in a future trip to Crete.

Logement fidèle à la description. Spacieux et lumineux. L'hôte a été arrangeante. Nous avons pu arriver plus tôt avec nos valises afin de ne pas bloquer notre journée excursion. Ses parents nous ont accueillis à bras ouverts. Sa maman nous a préparer plusieurs petits plats typique en quantité. Au départ elle nous a offert un paquet avec des gâteaux et du raki. Très attentionnée.

Accueil très chaleureux dans un appartement spacieux, bien équipé, calme. Mais surtout des hôtes attentionnés, généreux, disponibles, gentils. Petite ville proche de plein de lieux magiques et magnifiques ! A recommander ++++++++

Niki and her family are very good hosts. They always treated us as family members: they waited up for our late arrival and left us an unaspected and wanted lunch, moreover her mum often made us very delicious cretan dishes :) The apartment is very clean and quiet and it has a fully equipped kitchen. The outdoor area is spatious and lovely and made you get relaxed. Highly recommended.

Niki's apartment is a nice dependance of her family house, it is spacious, well furnished and with a very nice patio to have some good relax after the beach We have been welcomed with some delicious home made typical food and during the week she or her mother offered us some more tasty dishes. She and the family were very warm to us during our stay. Shops, restaurant and Kissamos beach are all with 300m from the house and the location is perfect to visit all the best beaches in the west side like Balos, Falassarna, Elafonissi and more. The apartment is perfect for families and couples, we fully recommend it.

Nikki and her mom could not have been more hospitable. The place is clean, spatious, and quiet, and the outdoor patio area is lovely. They even shared some local delicacies with us, and waited up for our late arrival. The apartment is essentially a private guest house set off from the main house with a fully equipped kitchen. Highly recommended.

Niki's place was perfect for our quiet get-away to western Crete! It's location was awesome -- we walked to Kissamos beaches, shops, and dinner every day and were within a short drive to Elafonissi (1 hr), Balos (35 min), and Falasarna (20 min) beaches. It was easy to get to the Samarian Gorge by tour bus from Kissamos (1-1.5 hr). It was a quiet area and neighbors were friendly. Niki and her mom were fantastic hosts, leaving us a home-cooked lunch on the day of our arrival, checking in with us to make sure we had what we needed (and taking out the trash for us!), saying a short hi when we were in the courtyard, and also giving us space and quiet time alone. They love kids (as is apparent in much of Greek culture) and I highly recommend their clean, light-filled, and quiet place to those looking for a smaller town get-away in western Crete.

Nikis Family made us feel very welcome. The house was very clean and comfortable and everyone was really nice. We enjoyed our stay very much and would always come back!

We decided to stay with Niki in Kissamos because of its location to the ferry port serving Kythira where we were bound for the second part of our holiday. However, we soon found we loved this charming little town from the moment we arrived when Niki met us at the bus stop. Niki's studio suited us perfectly and we felt comfortable as soon we stepped into it. The kitchen/diner had everything we would need should we decide to cook or relax, including a TV. What we loved most about staying with Niki and her family was their wonderful warm hospitality and invaluable help and generosity with finding the best beaches, information about the buses and anything you wanted to know. They also helped us in trying to get information from the notoriously unreliable ferry company. The location was excellent. Just a short walk to the beach, bus stop and supermarket. The old town is about a five minute walk where you can find a nice local atmosphere. We were lucky enough to come across a local festival with the youngsters dancing in their traditional costumes and where drinks and local celebratory pastries were offered to us, too. We would definitely go back to Niki and her family's home when we go back to Kissamos and we recommend you do, too.

Everything perfect.

We had a fantastic 4-night stay in this corner of paradise created by Ioannis in Kefali! The room is really spacious and clean with a massive balcony which we had all to ourselves - the views of the surrounding hills and valleys is breath-taking, the air is fresh and fragrant. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool, you are surrounded by orange trees, grapevines and olive groves. At night, you get amazing starry skies and completely undisturbed sleep in the silence (interrupted only by the sound of crickets;))! In the morning we enjoyed taking a refreshing dip in the pool before heading out for the day. Ioannis is a lovely host - welcoming, kind and helpful with good advice on places to see and eat in the vicinity. We would love to come back another time! Thank you Ioannis.

Our stay at Ionnis s place was awesome! We stayed in the suite which was big quiet and neat... We enjoyed the terrasse and the swimming pool with amazing view! Ionnis is very welcoming, good company and gave very good advices about food around. Thanks again! Kefali is a pretty village. It is close enough to Elafonissi 15/20 min drive and has 2 tavernas if you dont want to take your car. We highly recommend ! :-)

This appartment in Kefali is beautifully quiet but with good links to various beaches. Ioannis is a great host and made an extra effort to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The room has a lovely terrace to sit out on and the pool is also nice.

Everything is modern and accurate and Ioannis is a perfect host: welcoming, politec and always there for you (he help ed us with the luggages)! The house is the only problem? Efi made us feel most welcome at her appartment. She invited us on multiple occasions, that way we were able to experience the authentic Cretan lifestyle. This had a very positive impact on our holiday. The appartment is very neat, cosy and well furnished. Kissamos is not exactly a beautiful town, but it is a very convenient and hospitable place for discovering the west of Crete.

We had a great stay! The host Efi is very welcoming and the apartment very clean with nice furniture and a well equipped kitchenette.

The perfect place if you are a couple and you want to explore all creta's West coast. The flat is large, very well furnished, and the view from your own balcony...omg

Efi is very helpful and does everything for guests to feel like at home. Our stay was very pleasent and Efi helped us with any of our querries. Place is located 100m from the beach and city centre, also quiet and relaxing. Definitely a place to go back.

Efi is a great host who not only picked us up from the bus station and drove us to our next airbnb apartment after we checked out, but also made us a home-made dinner upon arrival! The flat was spacious, comfortable and had a great view both from the balcony and from the rooftop terrace. The bus stop is 5 min by foot and same distance is to the nearest beach. Good value for money!

Efi is super host. At our arrival in evening she came to pick us, becausr we have had a little problem to fin hers house. She also gave usca welcome gift delicious cake. Apartment is very beautifill with wiev to the sea, and well equped. From hers place you can visit beautiful beaches around there, and swiming in late October is still possible. Thank you Efi

Nantia is an amazing hostess. She is incredibly kind and welcoming and very happy to help. She made me feel at home, gave me great recommendations for restaurants, and helped book me a tour to the Samaria Gorge. The apartment is nice with a charming outside patio and not too far from the beach and some good restaurants. Close to the amazing Balos beach as well as the rest of the west coast of Crete. Highly recommended!

Nantia responds quickly at all times and is the most friendly and generous person. We arrived very late in the evening, but she waited us for the delivery of the house. At our arrival we found in the fridge a Cretan characteristic dinner, coocked by herself. During the week of our stay, she messaged me for any need, and she came for a visit. The house is perfect, clean and well equipped. I recommend this accomodation!

Wonderful little apartment, perfect for a couple or small family holiday. Kissamos was un-touristy, which is what we were looking for, and a great place to base ourselves to explore western Crete. Definitely a location that needs a car to maximise the exploring opportunities but very easy to find from Chania airport (about 30-40min drive) Nantia met us on our arrival with an extremely generous welcome package - Tea, coffee, cereal, yoghurt, home grown oranges, lemons and tomatoes, home made olive oil and honey as well as some extra groceries after our long trip such as water and milk and also her mother had made us a sampling of a Cretan lentil dish that we thoroughly enjoyed. Nantia also provided us with excellent recommendations for local restaurants - a highlight is Gramboussa, on the way to Balos beach, open only on weekends outside of tourist season - definitely try the lamb with honey in filo pastry and the roast piglet from the wood oven! She also directed us to the not to be missed sights of western Crete - Balos beach with its spectacular views and Elafonisi Beach with its pink sands. Apartment was clean and well kept, very well stocked and had easy to use equipment also. Quiet area - perfect for a little relaxation, a highlight was sitting in the sunshine outside under the lemon trees sipping a beer before we went out for dinner. Would definitely recommend.

Nantia is a fantastic host and a beautiful person. To start, she welcomed us with the best Greek salad I ever had, homemade cake, and bottle of wine. However, it is nothing compared to what she did for me after I had an accident and end up alone and on crutches, not able to walk at all. She took me under her wing and made me feel like I am part of her family. She helped me around, she brought me food, and finally helped me to get to airport safely. I will never forget your kindness, Nantia. The place itself is spotless. It looks exactly like the pictures. You have absolutely everything you possibly may need. It is walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, and supermarket. Accidents apart, I had a great experience in Kissamos and I will be back. And when I am, I certainly will be staying with Nantia again.

We had a perfect time at Nantia's Airbnb. The apartment is just as beautiful, clean and cozy as in the photos and we also enjoyed the outside area very much. The pretty terrace underneath the lemon tree is great for a relaxing breakfast! Nantia is a very nice, attentive host who provided us with delicious greek food and useful tips to explore Crete. My boyfriend and I felt very welcomed and we highly recommend this Airbnb for a relaxing holiday! Kissamos is a great destination to get around the west side of the island. The village itself provides everything you need - restaurants, shops and a nice esplanade by the sea. Still it is not too touristic and we enjoyed our quiet neighbourhood a lot. We went to Balos, Chania, Elafonisi and Falasarna by car and recommend every one of these beautiful destinations when you stay at Nantia's place.

Nantia is a great host, very kindly !! When we arrived in Kissamos, she had made us some Greek dishes with a local wine. Thanks a lot :) She give us lots of advice about our trip and was very attentive. The apartment is very cozy and you will find everything you need, we feel like home. It's clean and very comfortable and also close to the village and beaches. A car is necessary to visit the other beautiful places in crete. I really recommend this place, you will not be disappointed! It's was a fantastic experience :)
