  • The camp is the first as you come into the area. Really nice accomodation and excellent service. It’s basic but that’s what you are expecting in this area. Great hospitality, we will definitely stay again if in the area.

  • The location is mind blowing just opposite the river. Despite the cold weather, the Swiss tents were cozy, clean and comfortable. Food is delicious and we got personal attention for all our needs. The short trek and river crossing made our experience memorable. The bonfire arranged under the stars with a candid chat with the owner Padma made the evening fun. I would definitely recommend people going to Leh from manali to hault here for one night and have a thrilling yet luxurious camping experience.

  • If you are travelling from Manali to Leh by road and want to cover the journey in 2 days, this is a perfect place to crash on the way. The camp is setup right on the highway (in Jispa), there is a river right opposite to it (at a walkable distance) and the place is surrounded by a wonderful landscape. The tent, we were put in, was really clean and the staff was very hospitable. Padma, the host, not just made sure that our stay was good but also helped by answering a lot of questions I had while I was planning my trip to Leh. Great experience overall!! Thanks to Padma! I would definitely recommend a stay at this place.

  • The place is real secluded with a view of Chandra - Bhaga river. A place with enough amenities to keep you going.

Gemoor Khar is a bed & breakfast located just off the Manali-Leh highway in the village of Gemoor. The property was built in 2002 and started operating as a home-stay around 2010. The property contains 3 large bedrooms with independent bathrooms, running hot and cold water, restaurant, a living-cum-dining room, gardens, a sun room, and parking space for cars and motorcycles. There is 24x7 staff on the property to make your stay memorable and pleasurable. Food, tea, coffee, and snacks are available on demand. From the Gemoor Khar property, the old Gemoor gompa (Buddhist monastery and temple) is 15 minute uphill walk. From there, it is possible to walk to Khangsar (6-7 kms) which was the seat of the local ruling family till the 1980s. All along you can see great views towards Jispa, Keylong, and the valley. Other walks from the Khar, are to the Mangala rocks near the river where it is possible to see ancient rock engravings. For the more adventurous, there are trails of the indigenous Gaddi sheep nomads who roam the mountains in the summer months.

Kyelang is accessed from Manali by Manali-Leh Highway, a part of NH21. It is located about 125 km (78 mi) north of Manali. It is located at an altitude of 3,080 m (10,100 ft) and cut off from the outside world from October-end to mid-May due to heavy snowfall at Rohtang Pass that closes the pass during the winter. The peak travel season is during May and June when a lot of tourists visit Rohtang pass. There are enough buses in summer season from manali. The time taken is 4 to 10 hours depending upon the condition of the road (that sometimes becomes too slippery because of snowfall) and traffic jam that occurs at Rohtang pass and Beas nallah near Marhi. It is advisable to cross Rohtang pass before 8 am.
  • One of my best time I spent at Keylong in the guest house. The owner of the house Mr. Randhir is such a gentleman and his hospitality touched my heart.I would highly recommend this place with amazing hospitality and great views from the rooms.

  • Excellent place with a lovely view of the snow capped mountains. Close to the bus stand and to shops nearby, while still being on the national highway and easy to locate. Wonderful family and good homely food. A very friendly and hospitable home.

  • The place is close to the bus station and is managed by a lovely couple who were so kind and made us feel right at home. We had a delicious homemade dal with mixed veggies and roti dinner. The cable tv in the room was a nice addition. Really enjoyed the one night stay and definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Keylong!

Nestled among apple orchards with stunning views of the Himalayas and overlooking the Beas river, it is the only place to be !
This is a three bedroom cottage with wrap-around verandahs. All the rooms have breathtaking views, including the bathrooms ! The cottage is one of the few, made recently, in the traditional Himachali architecture. “ Kathguni" in the local dialect means inter-locking wood. We have painstakingly tried to recreate this style of architecture with all modern amenities including a fully equipped modular kitchen.
Stunning views of the Pir Panjal Mountain Range, Overlooking the Beas river and nestled among Apple Orchards. You have to live it to believe it...
