Great location. Only minutes away from public transportation i.e. metro and subway stations. There are many great local restaurants and bars in the area that make exploring fun. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone who wants to explore the Japan.

If you want to be in the center of Tokyo, on your own or with your partner and not get a bundle, this is your place. From shibuya buses that leave you out to 2 minutes if the nearest train station is about 7 or 8 minutes. If you go out shibuya party can retire when you want, walk about 20 -25 min and fall into bed is another small luxury. And the pocket WiFi super useful.

Super quiet place in Tomigaya. Perfect for those wanting a little peace after crazy days in Tokyo. Close to Yoyogi park and a comfortable 20 minute walk to central Shibuya. Place was clean and all set up, if a bit small. Cannot stress enough how quiet it was.

The neighbourhood was nice and quiet with the apartment situated in a small street within the housing district. The apartment was quite cramped with 3 people, especially when all of us had large suitcases. The hot water system does take a bit of time to work. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable stay. If you are planning on being out of the apartment most of the time, this is a good place to stay. Yuichi provided umbrellas for the each of us which was handy on one occasion! There was also an instruction manual/guidebook he had done up to show how to work all the appliances and guides of where to eat and images of the public transport maps. The area itself is close to convenience stores (7/11) and there are two different stations (Metro and another company) at close proximity to another, each with their own lines and stations which is convenient (the train systems are a little confusing, but you get used to it quickly).

From this place you can quickly walk to the Odakyu line so you can get to Shinjuku and Shimokitazawa really fast. The Chiyoda line is also really close, so you can get to the Imperial Palace without changing trains, which we thought was convenient. You can walk to Shibuya in 20 minutes and Yoyogi Park in about 10. Also, this place is in a really safe and fancy neighborhood. It's a convenient and fun place to stay.

The apartment is very good for two people, is in a quiet area of Tokyo, is small but as culquier department in Asia the photos are identical to those of the department, the only thing that will be recommended to the next tenants is to take into chevar account map very well, by the department it is in very narrow streets and can confuse

Yuichi was an excellent host. We actually arrived a day earlier than we booked because we didn't realize airbnb doesn't take into account time zone changes. Yuichi was quick to respond and make the adjustment for our unexpected early arrival. The place was small and cozy and provided all the necessities. The pocket wifi was sufficient for (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps and searches but it wasnt fast enough to handle much else. The surrounding neighborhood had a lot of good restaurants and had a nearby subway within walking distance that is 3 stops from shinjuku.

This is my third time using Airbnb and I love it!!! Akiko is one of the best hosts I've met. My flight got 6-hour delayed and arrived at Shibuya station at 10PM. Akiko picked us up and explained everything in the apartment (even though we can refer to the manual by ourselves). The location is literally a little away from central Shibuya but we could always take the bus in front of the apartment to the Shibuya station in less than 5 minutes (which only costs 100yen). The street is cute and quiet. But do notice that the apartment is on top floor (3rd) and stairs can be narrow if you carry big luggages. Overall, it is a great apartment and I would definitely stay here if i come to Tokyo again.

Akiko came to welcome us at Shibuya station at our arrival in Tokyio and walked us until her apartment,while giving us a lot of information and suggestions about restaurants and shops in the area. The apartment is located in a lovely side street,quiet at night,but full of cosy restaurants and shops and just 10 minutes walking from Shibuya scramble crossing. The place is nicely decorated,fully equipped and quite spacious for 2 people. Akiko gave us help and assistance before and after our staying and she replied to our messages always promptly:a 5 stars host,highly recommended !

With only a night to go before we left Tokyo, Akiko left us wishing we could spend more time in the capital. Communication with Akiko was easy and efficient. She is an extraordinarily attentive host, taking the time to meet me in Shibuya and walking me to her apartment. The listing is accurate: this is a modern apartment slightly removed from the hustle of Shibuya, in a trendy street. It has all the described amenities, including a very handy wi-fi portable device. In the room of a nice interior of the Japanese style, bedroom, bathroom and toilet, kitchen also was one not very clean dust. Towels and amenities has gotten ready, those kitchen goods also necessary in consumer electronics is equipped with all. Neighborhood convenience store, other supermarkets, restaurants and cafes are also many convenient night is very quiet. Akiko's host was who approachable in a very polite. Check-in, but seems to give us travel to under .. the room to come Mr. Akiko is to Shibuya Station, I decided to head directly to the room because there was a use in Shibuya before check-in. The room came to near by I became not know the road, but Ms. Akiko was Mashi under .. correspond very gently reluctant trouble. Evaluation of the review high of was a nice room of consent. it's recommended! !

We had a great experience visiting Tokyonand staying at Akiko's place. We were greeted warmly at Shibuya station and given a tour along the way to the apartment of downtown Shibuya. We were told what restaurants and stores were where as well their operating hours. The apartment was very nice and clean spacious. It offered all the amenities we needed and then some. Akiko helped us to make plans for our visit of what to see and do and navigate the railway. We would definitely recommend her, the location and would stay there again. Thank you!

Great location, within walking distance of Shibuya/Harajuku. We did not meet Toshi but he communicated very well instructions for the unit. Place was a little tight for three people but would be fine for two. We didn't mind as we were only there for one night. A little difficult to find the place if you didn't have gps handy.

Great location for walking to shibuya station (10 minutes). Locations are lovely with many cool restaurants and bars nearby . Very close to Yoyogi Park . just the room is very small ,I would recommend if only 2 people to stay without too much luggages .

Toshi's apartment is in an amazing location so close to Shibuya station but just far enough to be able to relax completely. So many good places eat in close proximity and walking distance/short train to many great places. Highly recommended for two people. I'd stay again for sure

Very cozy place and the location was excellent, less than 10 mins walk from Shabuya Station. The apartment is surrounded by small eateries and alleyway which you can explore for days.

We loved this area of Shibuya, great restaurants and bars very nearby the apartment where we felt like the only travellers. Access to the apartment was easy and communication quick and friendly too. I do need to however also point out that the place was not clean, and also we were not aware that the sink in the kitchen was unusable and that a tradesperson would need to access one morning during our stay to fix it. This was all fine, but it would have been good to know in more advance. Kei did offer us free helpings of bottled water to make up for it though, so that was appreciated. Overall though a pretty good experience, and we appreciate nice extra effort like the travel info made available in the house, the very detailed house manual (we used the directions to the coin lockers!) and the guest book. This place was in such a great location off the main streets of Shibuya! Definitely small but had everything we needed.. even had a bunch of umbrellas by the entrance in case if it rains (which it did for a little while we were there *cries*). (The bed was on the firmer/harder side so just be aware of that.) But otherwise a perfectly small humble abode in the heart of Shibuya.

The place was the biggest we stayed in, in all of Japan. It had a nice large main room. It was a little bit harder to find (don't trust the GPS coordinates provided by Airbnb) but other than that everything was perfect. I recommend.

They place is cozy, walkable easily to Shibuya station (roughly 8-10 min.) yet you can enjoy the silence after the whole day of busy and crowdy Tokyo. It's equipped with all you would need for a stay . I really recommend the place!

Ken was an attentive and pleasant host, and I truly enjoyed staying at his place. The room is located in a luxurious and quiet neighborhood in Shibuya station, and is pretty close to the main Shibuya attractions. You can feel like a real Tokyo resident when you take walks around t the he streets. Although there were some insects showing up in the room, it was clean and had all the gadgets one may need. Ken's room really is a wonderful place and I will definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

This was a great sized apartment for two people. It's an easy walk to the middle of busy Shibuya yet still feels very quiet and peaceful. The neighbourhood felt very safe too. The kitchen has great amenities (tea, microwave, kettle etc) and overall we loved staying here. Communication with the host was excellent!

Kent is very responsive. He offered to pick us up but our schedule did not work out. The place is small and the bathroom even smaller. It is a bit of a walk from Shibuya station. It is in a quiet and nice neighborhood. I would stay here again.

Great hollidays. The room is 10 min walk to Shibuya, but also in a very quiet neighbourhood. Ken is an excellent host on all points of view, and we had great exchange with him (before and during the journey). I recommand this place if you wan't to be next to one of the most famous district of Tokyo nightlife, with a really quiet neighbourhood.

We stayed 4 nights in the apartment. The room was very clean and included a small kitchen area, fridge, washing machine and free tea and coffee, which was great. Although Shibuyah is only a 15 minute walk away, the area is very quiet so it's perfect if you want to get a good night's rest! The host, Ken, was very friendly, left us a present at the apartment and even picked us up from Shibuya station so that we didn't have to carry our heavy backpacks to the apartment. In general, he was very helpful, always replied straight away to our messages and also informed us about good restaurants and events that were going on in the area. The stay was amazing! He was so patient with us, it took us way longer to get to Shibuya from Narita than we had planned and he had been waiting nearly two hours and yet still greeted us at the station as if we were life long friends he hadn't seen in some time! As soon as we arrived, he offered to show us around a bit and we hadn't eaten so he showed us a place and paid for our food even after we offered to pay, which was extremely nice of him! The room is really nice, the area is quiet and everything is really clean, there were absolutely no problems and the room had everything you need. The apartment was a great little base whilst we explored Tokyo. Perfect location a short walk to Yoyogi Park and Shibuya station with convenience stores and lovely restaurants a few mins away. We really loved the neighbourhood. Fast wifi, everthing you need in the tiny kitchen, powerful shower and comfortable bed but as you can see from the pictures, the place is very small (to be expected in Tokyo!). Only bad point was that there's not much natural light. Ken picked us up at Shibuya station and was really communicative and helpful throughout. We loved our stay and would really recommend staying here for short periods. Thanks Ken!

Shogos apartment was a little difficult to find, however speaking to his assistance Jun who immediately helped us and communicated with us straight away. The apartment was spacious for the three of us, and was kept very neat and tidy. The location is also very close to the action in Shibuya, walking distance to nightlife, shopping, bars & restaurants. Would definitely recommend staying at Shogo's place.

Shogo's place is fantastic. Well worth booking if you are staying in Shibuya or Toyko. It's fairly new, and really clean. Like most apartments, its small but functional. The bathroom is bigger than most in Toyko though. Ideal if you are looking for a place as a couple, pair of travellers (you can use the living room as a second bedroom), or single. Too small for a family, in my opinion. It's close to the action, but quiet. Like all Japanese beds, I found the mattress a little hard, but this was easily solved by sleeping on-top the thick doona that comes with it, and using the spare. There's enough equipment for cooking. But why cook? Shibuya is home to some world-class restaurants. Shopping can also be tough, unless you can read japanese. Glad I booked Shogo's place. He's a great host, and I'd stay there again if I'm ever back in Shibuya.

A great apartment for 4pax in a hip and quiet neighborhood. Walking from shibuya station is quite a distance, roughly 15-20mins if you are lugging luggages. But the apartment and convenience of the neighborhood makes the distance worthwhile. Will definitely stay here again if I'm visiting Shibuya again!

Everything was perfect. The location and the cleanliness were perfect. The only things that I was not so satisfied with were the early check-out and the fixed WiFi that wasn't working at all. The WiFi was not a big issue though as long you place the pocket WiFi device on the balcony fence. However, it was not always comfortable especially I had work to do. About the early check-out, though I cannot blame the owner as it was mentioned in listing web page, it was not comfortable especially when you flight is a bit late. So if your flight a bit late you should rethink about again. But overall, I would recommend this place with some consideration.

The flat was just as described and pictured. We were a party of 4 (3adults and 1 toddler), and there's enough room to fight us all in. The bathroom was very nice and big, love the tube. Though the first night there wasn't enough hot water for showers... One of us had to wait till next day to shower. This was due to cleaner used hot water for cleaning before we checked in and took hours to fill up the whole tank again. Location is situated on a quiet street with 15-20mins walk to Shibuya train station; and 10-15mins walk to restaurants and shopping. Be prepared to walk up a steep hill to get to the apartment; especially after a full day of shopping. The host,Lui, was very responsive to our queries and have been very helpful. His house manual gave us good directions to find his flat... But first you need to find the specific train exit, which could be difficult because not all locals can speak English, however I have to say Japanese are very helpful and they go out of their way to try to help tourist. On our last day, it was very surprising Lui showed up at the front door minutes before our check out time, at 10am. It was a bit awkward and felt as if he didn't trust us to be leaving soon. All in all was a good experience.

SUCH A GOOD LOCATION! We fit SIX PEOPLE in the apartment and we were out most days and nights so the cozy space did not bother us too much. Good kitchen to cook meals and store food. Washer/Dryer was a plus. BATHROOM WAS AMAZING - so spacious. Could easily fit four people in with lots of space, six was a tight squeeze but we made it work. It's good to see the direction the taxi stand simyeon 5000 expedition also comes ildeut away. house is located middle of Sibuya & yoyogi koen station. it takes 10 ~ 15 minutes by foot. if you have a big luggage, you should ride a taxi instead. :) House is clean and big enough for 2 person.

The apartment was easy to reach in less than 10 minutes' walk from Shibuya Station. Despite close proximity to the nightlife but the apartment was located relatively quiet. The house itself was also very quiet, although two bars / restaurants in the building are located. The facility has a very peculiar to you, but quickly get used to. The apartment looks at first impression a bit bleak, due to the heavy curtains. For two we had room absolutely sufficient. In the kitchen was (except coffee) also everything that you need in between. The bed was my feeling after absolutely comfortable :-) Ceck-in and check-out were a breeze thanks to the provided information in advance. The communication in advance of the holiday was also very friendly and helpful. Thank you again for that! We had a great time and would love to come back!

The location was perfect with shops, bars, and restaurants within the building and around the neighborhood. We really liked the rooftop bar and the lady bug bar in the building! Very friendly and nice places to relax after a long day of sight seeing. Though if you are traveling with a lot of luggage (which we did because we were traveling for 3 weeks) I would consider taking a taxi to/from the station.

We really liked the apartment since it was close to Shibuya, 5 - 10 minutes slow walking. There are also many convenience stores around the apartment for a quick snack or breakfast. The room was clean and neat and Gary also gave a clear direction to his apartment. Other than that, Gary was a helpful and kind host, he helped us to buy tickets to Ghibli Museum and deliver it to the apartment on our arrival. We really appreciated that! We will stay again at J&G's apartment again if we visit Tokyo again. Very recommended.

A great experience for any independent tourist - Kevin's apartment is clean, new and in the best location - a 10min walk from shibuya' main junction. Yet it was a quiet and peaceful street. The pocket wifi provided was a great help. Only wished we stayed at home more to use the cute little toaster n stove more. :)

It's a lovely place at a very convenient location. Within steps front the bustle of Shibuya yet at a non touristy local area. With lots of food outlets nearby. All in all, a great place to be hosted. Extremely value for money. Kevin is a great host and he managed to accommodate to our request as well. Noted that some review mentioned it's a noisy place. In the morning you can hear folks opening their shops. To me it's part of the experience of living near a local shopping street. The noise level is definitely acceptable.

Locations is amazing, in the middle of super cool Tokyo street, full of cool bars and restaurants! Absolutely amazing place! Kevin was great in providing directions and instructions + pocket wifi! We'll definitely stay here again!!!

kevin was a top-notch, reliable host. he provided very helpful and detailed directions and instructions. he was quick to answer any questions and he checked in on us before and after our stay. also, the apartment is in a charming location, just a 7-10 min walk from the central action of shibuya. the street the apartment is located on is a very lovely neighborhood with cute shops, restaurants, cafe, and only 10 min south of yoyogi park. highly recommend staying at kevin's!

Although the apartment is tiny, the location is excellent. In the heart of Shibuya, close to everything, transportation, restaurants, conveniences, shops !! I felt in Tokyo as soon as we arrived. It has plenty of power outlet, adapters, pocket wifi. I recommend the apartment!

The plane arrived seven minutes walk from Shibuya Station. Moderately out of the atmosphere in the very downtown district hotel because the location is so good !! Itguyo are many good pubs around :) But the house is a little jopgin out well in warm water and a veranda also good. There is also willing to go again later!

House in Shibuya, quiet, convenient transportation, the house is small but well equipped.

Great location on a quiet street yet one block away from busy Shibuya! The apt is VERY small and was hard for 3 people. Limited floor space perfect for couples or singles just looking for a place to sleep and shower. A small walk to many trains and a block from a park. Really enjoyed staying at this apt for my families first visit to Japan. Had minor issue with wifi, other wise clean apt, wonderful location and great host!

Very close to restaurants and train stations. Wish it had a bigger bed for two people but overall we had a great stay!

Great place budget spot in the heart of Shibuya. Close to shops close to restaurants close to public transit. And if you get lucky and the bicycles haven't been reserved by other guests you can really enjoy Tokyo in and out from this location.

The location is excellent, 5 min walk from the center of Shibuya yet on a quiet residential street. Apartment is small but convenient and has everything you might need for your stay. I recommend it very much!

The apartment is centrally located: near shops, the station, the shibuya crossing. It's far enough to be quiet at night but near enough to everything. It had all basic amenities such as hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, towels, etc. The host was very gracious to allow us to check in early because there was no guest prior to our stay. We are very happy.

Great place Very quite and piece full place. Close to Shibua, easy to access. Close to some very good restaurant. One very special thing about the host is he is very very nice and will not disturb you with un necessary messages of cleaning, check inn, check out etc. I really like this place and for sure Mr. Hayato is a great host. I think someone will definitely feel the difference of staying with him. Its a great place overall.

Great place with a large living area compared to others. Also in a great location next to cute shops on a quiet street but one block away from the craziness of Shibuya.

A very spacious apartment for Tokyo!

Hayato's apartment is close to the nightlife of Shibuya and, at the same time, it's a calm place to rest. We found everything clean and organised when we arrived. It couldn't be better.

The room has everything a house needs q. Honestly I did not miss anything. It is close to convenience stores, restaurants of all menus and prices, very close to metro and train station. I loved it. Congratulations to the host.

Definitely a good spot as there are many small Japanese local restaurants nearby (ramen, Japanese grill, dumplings etc.); and just 3 mins walk there is a big duty-free pharmacy, a paradise for women to shop for various cosmetic and skincare! About 10 mins walk from JR / metro, a bit far but it's ok for me. Hayato is a kind and helpful host. Thank you and we had a good time in Tokyo!

A comfortable stay outside the busy hub of Shibuya. Located in a more quiet and high end residential area which is a 10min walk to Shinsen Station or a further walk to Shibuya station. All the necessities were acquired and we didn't have to worry about a thing. I recommend this stay for travellers who like to walk and to stay just outside the busy area of Shibuya.

Very satisfied. Airbnb is first used as worried he packed carefully in advance gave the hostel was very similar to the actual appearance of the picture. Comfortable and cozy atmosphere! Town has all the necessities of life to the little things like my house, and could be used at any time to experience the bike "live view week in Tokyo" in properly. ** Good location. Walking distance to Shibuya station, but Jim large boarded a taxi (basic fare) that the stop of bus in front of the house to Shibuya Station / bike ride Daikanyama, Harajuku, Omotesando usefulness has been to the mountain came / portable pocket WiFi in next / convenience store right there In the wake of this trip is bigger expectations on Airbnb. Our stay was awesome!

Great space and a nice layout! Smaller than your average apartment, but I think that is standard for most Japanese apartments. Ashley was a fantastic host and was extremely prompt and helpful whenever we needed assistance! The place is a little far from Shibuya, but there are closer metro stations only 10-15 minutes away. Plus, there is a 7-11 and a couple nice restaurants right beside you. All in all it was a great stay and I'd highly recommend!

Ashley was a very good host. He picked us up at the train station and explained everything in detail. The apartment was as advertised, clean and large enough for a couple. A 15-20 minute walk from Shibuya Station.

Sam's place has everything you possibly need for travel or remote work stay. My favorite was that there was both home internet as well as a separate 7GB capped wireless internet. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the location was walkable to anything really, and the apartment itself was very modern. Probably one of my favorite Airbnb spots in Tokyo.

Tracey and Ash were great hosts, showed us how to use everything in the apartment and made themselves available incase we needed anything at all. The bikes were an awesome addition to our trip as well. We rode 15 minutes to shimokita and then yoyogi park with ease. The apartment was perfect for 2 people and a very short walk to shibuya crossing. Perfect starting point for our week. It's also incredibly close to a 24 hour 7/11 and supermarket. We hope to visit again soon, thanks guys!!

We spent two nights with our young family. The apartment is in a great location and has everything you might need. Ash and Tracey are really organised and helpful. Highly recommend.

Apartment rather spacious for the size of Tokyo although the bathroom is rather small. But all very clean and the amenities are complete. Location must walk about 600m to shibuya station.

Lovely neighbourhood and the apartment fits 2 adults and a child. We enjoyed all the nice cafes nearby especially.

A cosy little appartment in Shibuya, in a quiet street but also not far from the busy area, within 15 minutes walk and very near to Yoyogi Park. The location was very convenient for our daily visits The place was clean, a bit small, but enough for 3 persons. Photos are accurate. I recommend this place, it was perfect for our 5 days stay !

10-15 minutes walking distance to Shibuya station, and 7-10 minutes walking distance to the Yoyogi-koen Metro Station. The room is a short walking distance away from the most happening spot in Shibuya where tourists usually go, but here you can observe and feel more about the life of the local residents. Especially on the street between Toru's place and the Yoyogi-koen Metro Station, don't miss the alleys or the next street behind, as you would find many really nice coffee shops where many local Japanese spend their time there!

A very nice, cute place very close to the train station and a lot of small restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Great host allowing us to check-in early which was very helpful for us! Great amenities in the room and enjoyed our stay very much! A lot of outlets to charge our gadgets is a plus!

This place was in a great location for restaurants and nightlife. Overall the unit was clean and there were some delicious snacks waiting for us upon arrival. It was difficult for us to find the location because it is mislabeled in the Airbnb app. Toru was very responsive and got us to the unit quickly once we contacted him. Be prepared for a small bathroom. My husband is almost 2 meters tall and he had to hunch over when showering. Liked our stay here and would definitely stay again.

A very cosy and relaxing place at the perfect location. The place is simply comfortable and inviting, perfect to rest after a busy day in Tokyo. A small balcony to the quiet but still very cosmopolitan street of Kamiyamachō is the perfect morning invitation to explore the city. An excellent place to stay for travellers looking to explore Tokyo's urban lifestyle. Kamiyamacho, where the apartment is located, is an amazing street to explore trendy, design focused local shops with carefully crafted atmospheres. There are lots of small design studios and handcraft ateliers around, as well as independent clothing and home shops, bars and wonderful restaurants (the best we found in all of Tokyo). If you're a foodie, walking up to Tomigaya area and beyond you will find some hidden treats and very nice people. There are also two 24-hour convenience stores 1m away with ATMs and very friendly English speaking staff. Overall the area feels very inviting, modern and diverse. It is also very close to the centre of Shibuya (10m walk), which is one of if not the best gathering of youth culture in Tokyo. A tip: don't stick to the main streets, and walk around Shibuya's alleys: you will find amazing hidden gems. Toru's place is perfect as a starting point to travel throughout the city on the subway. A 5m walk will take to Yoyogy-Koen - the subway station with the name of the amazing city park just beside it. From there, Harajuku is one stop away (the best place to find local clothing brands and all the Tokyo Kawaii culture). One stop away from Harajuku is Shinjuku (the famously vibrant night area) and also Omotesando (home to the luxury fashion brand stores). And anywhere else is not that far, either, as Tokyo has an excellent Subway network, very easy to use even for first-time visitors. In conclusion, we went to Tokyo looking for an insiders' point of view of the amazing urban culture of the city, and couldn't be happier with Toru's place as the way to do it :)
